Hypocrisy
Hypocrisy
I wanted to sit and write today-but I did not know what to say.
Then a thought came to me. Why don’t I write about hypocrisy?
The hypocrisy of man leaves you to wonder.
Will this country make another blunder?
Will we continue in this Arab war where we are despised/
Will we choose to live a lie?
They say Americans shed their blood for you and me.
We all know its hypocrisy.
Men in uniform no longer fight the world wars.
People who want to hide what they are Moreover, what they say and do is because of me and you. Our service members and women still use our uniforms with pride
It is something that we can’t deny.
I could see it in my mind-the older politician telling the younger one.
“Let the road take its course” we are the trainers and they are the horse.
They will go where we lead them-that is why we are leaders.
The politicians of all nations should hide their heads in shame.
They search for all that they can gain.
They all try to line their pockets
They’ll pull your eyeballs from their sockets.
Then you cannot see all their hidden hypocrisies.
People will believe for a short period
While it weighs on their mind.
They have to tell the politicians that they will not follow
Like sheep to a slaughter so they could make a quarter.
We must tell them that we are tired as can be-living in hypocrisy.

Rewarding Time
the most rewarding time in life
is when i could sit and write
i write about things that were and things that can be
if i let my mind run free
and this is what came to me.
looking for someone who really cares
deceit and corruption is every where
it can be found from the highest
hill to the lowest ground.
at every turn-just look around.
when you look at the news every day
another politician has gone astray
they go with people who can line their pockets
and when they're hooked
they pull out their eyesockets.
families are torn apart
and thats just the start.
because the loved ones did not
fill their hearts with greed
it was just an implanted seed.
the seed of corruption and despair
.is spreading out everywhere.
you'll see it in politics, sports, buisnesses.
and even in the churches, and schools
for this is becoming the golden rule.
this is what comes to me, and this is what i see.
all of them are living in pure hypocrisy.

The Naked Truth
I shed my garments of hypocrisy,
i shed my cloaks of hypocrisy,
abroad, i walked naked amongst men,
indoors, i walked naked amongst kinsmen,
yes, all have seen my nakedness and seen my shame,
yes, i have suffered debasement by my inferiors,
henceforth, i stand clothed with my integrity, knowledge and wisdom,
yes, i have been exalted by the knowledge that i stand sovereign amidst men alike,
yea, there can be none like me,
ever again!

To The Hypocrite
i
Many kiss the hand
they wish cut off
ii
we despise the pleasure of pleasing people
whom we despise
iii
The lips are smiling,
but is the heart?
iv
A hypocrite is the kind of politician
who would cut down a redwood tree,
then mount the stump
and make a speech
for conservation
v
The value of an idea
has nothing to do
with the success
of the man
who expresses it.
vi
It is with pious fraud
as with a bad action;
it begets
a calamitous necessity
of going on.
vii
Every man alone is sincere;
at the entrance of a second person
hypocrisy begins.
viii
The wolf was sick,
he vowed a monk to be-
But when he got well,
a wolf once more was he.
ix
It is a trick among
the dishonest to offer
sacrifices that are not needed,
or not possible,
to avoid making
x
For neither man
nor angel can discern hypocrisy,
the only evil
that walks invisible.
those that are required.

Fake People
All the time
I look in your eyes
But what I see
And what you say to me
Are two totally different things
You pretend you put on a façade
I only wish you knew that I'm not
The only one who sees it as odd
Fake people
The things they do are oh so evil
Because of their own insecurities
They try to pass on to you their idiosyncrasies
Thinking they are your friends you let them into your lives
But then they turn around and about you tell nothing but lies
Jealousy is such an ugly thing
Almost as ugly as hypocrisy
Fake people
The things they do are oh so evil
Fake people
Fake people
So now I must ask who are your friends
Are they really what they seem to be
Or are they just trying to hide from you their envy
Do your friends really have your back
Or is it that that's where by them you've been stabbed
I once had a friend
One I thought would be there for me till the end
Then one day my happiness ended and theirs began
And when I needed someone to lean on
Behind me did no one stand
Fake people
The things they do are oh so evil
Because of their own insecurities
They try to pass on to you their idiosyncrasies
Thinking they are your friends you let them into your lives
But then they turn around and about you tell nothing but lies
Jealousy is such an ugly thing
Almost as ugly as hypocrisy
Fake people
The things they do are oh so evil
Fake people
Fake people
Be careful who you let know your business
'Cause in the end
Rumors about you they could be spreadin'
Don't put your trust in people who don't trust you
There's no telling what they're liable to say or do
Grow smarter with each experience
And you'll see true friends
Are the friends who are their with and for you till the end
Fake people
The things they do are oh so evil
Because of their own insecurities
They try to pass on to you their idiosyncrasies
Thinking they are your friends you let them into your lives
But then they turn around and about you tell nothing but lies
Jealousy is such an ugly thing
Almost as ugly as hypocrisy
Fake people
The things they do are oh so evil
Fake people

A myth about the origin of evil
And satan said:
‘Let there be a lie! ’
And there was a lie.
It hid in the stones
Sliding from above.
And satan said:
‘Let there be hypocrisy! ’
And there was hypocrisy.
It hid in the words
Waiting to speak up.
It covered itself with cobwebs
Spiders to feed.
It hid itself from itself.
And satan said:
‘Let there be poison! ’
And there was poison.
The devils waving their swords
Spilled it from a stormy breath.
It layered on the earth
To run with its currents.
It hid within the blood.
And satan said:
‘Let there be hatred! ’
And there was hatred.
It spilled all around
Like blood that cannot clot.
It walked in tigers’ paws
And hid itself in the end
Under the cold mossy north.
And satan said:
‘Let there be a human! ’
And there was a human.
He hid in the hypocrisy and lie
The poison of hatred fed him like milk.
A pirate wrapped in his sails.
And there was a human
In beasts he hid.
And satan said:
‘Let him think I am not! ’
But it was not the way he said.
There was a lie in the beginning of his word.

Today, I want to be cynical!
Today, I want to be cynical
I won’t listen those long lyrical
I don’t care people’s opinion
Today, I want to be cynical
I’ll be the sour vinegar
On the tip of your tongue
I’ll quench my cold blood
I’ll shut my crying heart
Today, I want to be cynical
I deny false sympathy
I believe world’s hypocrisy
Today, I want to be cynical
I’ll burn your comical face
With acid glance’s attack
I’ll breed my poisonous words
I’ll carve my sadistic smile
Today, I want to be cynical
I shame self pity
I laugh at naivety
Today, I want to be cynical
I’ll be the sound of thunder
Shake often your bright day
I’ll know your hidden mistake
I’ll close your chance to break
Today, I want to be cynical!

Before any empathy is assigned
Those guilty seem to always display,
Their hypocrisy.
I'll repeat that!
Those guilty seem to always display,
Their hypocrisy.
Whenever there is a feeling felt of giving,
It is the disadvantaged 'children' targeted...
To gain the publicized attention.
Cuddled in some donated TV sponsored closeup!
Those beyond the acceptable,
Age...
Of gaining a displaying of charitable grief,
By those feeling a twinge of remorse.
Will have to rely on their poverty,
Hunger and homelessness...
To first become a filmed documentary,
Before any empathy is assigned.
And...
Of course,
The more pathetic the look...
The quicker those filming can get paid!
It is all a charade to use the needy to pocket and run...
Industries that have been created!

When part of what you're trying to get at is the truth hidden under a taboo, or when you want to nail a hypocrisy, laughter is a very useful tool. I want to show the painful side of existence, but there is no question I also want to make people laugh.

Deeper Debt
It has been the deliverance of peace,
Severed from a stress...
To completely satisfy a mind at rest.
Freed from hypocrisy that mimics correctness...
Many choose to exchange,
To explore mental games.
And giving them their best.
Blessed some are to have chosen their own happiness.
And not have thoughts that they are sought,
Because they have either good or bad credit...
To produce deeper debt to invest more regret.
And others today have nothing to hock from their pockets,
But another bill to show they owe.
Or an I.O.U. overdue to be reminded,
From someone who has a need to be repaid.
As well as a patience wanted!
But seems from them to be fading.

Fakes Out
Say what you mean
Mean what you say
Truth can be seen
In you anyway
There is no mask
Where you can hide
So all I can ask
Be what you are inside
Never be a cheap fake
It's an insult for me
Falsehood I can't take
For I hate hypocrisy
So my words are direct
There is no pretense
We may not be perfect
But at least we make sense.

The Thoughts Of Mary
there is a joy deep inside
a feeling that i just can't hide
a child that is inside of me
yearning to be free.
i know this child will be big and strong
for it is here where he belongs
he will touch every heart
and give people a brand new start.
in those eyes we will see
everything that is meant to be
for he is the one that will set man free.
he will go through aches and pains
just so that we can gain
a faith that we all have deep inside
a faith that wants to make us cry.
he will teach the world you see
not to live in hypocrisy.
to show your feelings to one another
and not to be ashamed
for' no one feeling' is the same.
we are all individuals you see
that's the way it was meant to be.

Monster
Words choked
Letters smothered/
suffocated
the lie is truth
when repeated
often enough
sheep follow
faux shepherds
through fields
of broken glass
even as shards
pierce bare feet-
they do not see
_the hypocrisy
_the lies
_the bloodshed
they choose
greedy
narcissists
to lead
they choose
repressing
the many
failures
and
suppress
their own
freedom
and for what?
these ignorant
masochists
happily feed
the monster's
craving
the monster politic

Even modern English people are imperious, superior, ridden by class. All of the hypocrisy and the difficulties that are endemic in being British also make it an incredibly fertile place culturally. A brilliant place to live. Sad but true.

narrative poetry: Learn more!
different?
Though
his earliest poems
are
formal and satirical,
he quickly adopted
the new forms
of Brazilian modernism
that were evolving
in the 1920s,
incited by the work
of Mário de Andrade
(to whom he was not related) .
He adopted a
Whitmanian free verse,
mingling speech fluent
in elegance and truth
about the
surrounding,
a few improvements
many times
quotidian,
world,
with a fluidity of thought.

Why I Write?
I write poems for myself and I write for the readers
I write for the masses and I write for the leaders
I write to imprint my thoughts in people's mind
I write to make the bad guys helpful and kind
I write to light up our path to Great God
I write for everyone home and abroad
I write to preserve values new and old
I write to make my ink precious like gold
I write for peace and I write for progress
I write to make the world a better place
All major issues I want to address
I write to see smile on God's face

Why do people play with blood ?
Why do people play with blood when it gives no pleasure and only pain?
Why do people wag a war when it gives only losses and no gain?
Why do people play with mud when it never tones up but tarnishes their images?
Why do people play the blame -game when it never solves the problem but increases?
Why do people hit the greats when it gives them less fame and more blasphemy?
Why do people create controversy when it gives less positive and more negative publicity?
Why do people lie when do they know in it there is only ugliness and no beauty?
Why do people do jealousy when they do know that it shows their own bankruptcy?
Why do people lick the legs of power when it shows their weakness- the sycophancy?
Why do people do hypocrisy when they do know that they are telling lies?
Why do people heed to the greed when they do know the sweetness of life dies?
Why do people fall in lecherous lust when they do know it eats their own flesh?
Why do people play tricks when they do know that it shows only their foolishness?
Why do people do corruption when they do know it is the selling of their souls?
Why do people do nepotism when they do know it is the quality of them which falls?
Why do people love more self than any one else when they do know it is a disease - narcissism?
Why do people hate people when they do know it is the murder of humanism?
