The Strong and The Weak
The strongest man is he who has
Conquered himself and his fears
Subdued all the bitterness thus
He's released from the hurts and tears.
The weakest man remains captive
Chained to sad and bitter memories
Ruled by the Past that he cannot give
Love and forgiveness and have his Peace.

Bitter Tears
In the mist
Of my endless search
The best in life
Becomes clear
The rest just begins
To fade by itself
Thats a trick I learnt
Though it took so long
Bitter tears taste so sweet
Chorus
Im seeing my way
For the first time in years
When the love around
Begins to suffer
And you cant find love
In one
In one another
Push away those bitter tears
Bitter tears
And I thought I was doing no wrong
And I thought I was doing no wrong
In the hour of your needs
Lips are trembling
Cause youre gonna be free
Realise what were doing here
The time is right to kill your fears
Bitter tears taste so sweet
Chorus
And I thought I was doing no wrong
Push away those bitter tears
Push away those bitter tears
Push away those bitter tears
Push away those bitter tears
Thats what they call doing no wrong
Thats what they call doing no wrong
Push away those bitter tears
Push away those bitter tears
Push away those bitter tears
Thats what they call doing no wrong

Contagious.....
dear friend
i write this with bitterness
this poem,
this un-poem,
this anti-poem which is bitter
i do not know if you are bitter too,
because if you are
perhaps you
can easily understand how is it to be unpoetic
because you are bitter
because i have
the impression that to be poetic
it must be something
that makes us feel beautiful
inside out
and which also
spreads beauty
all around the world,
and people will be happy
and know that something
poetic is always the one
that creates order,
system,
nice feelings,
nothing of that bitter sort,
that depressing effect,
that prompts a suicide
somewhere along the straight line
of life,
i have nothing bad
for all my intentions,
i am a bitter man,
and i am writing about bitterness,
and you surely will
not like it,
because you are
a happy man,
in blissful state,
as you wish to convey it
in your pictures at
facebook,
and the rest of the write-ups
that you have posted
so far.
this poem is
like a volcano
that soon will erupt
i hope there will
be no casualties
it has to.
because it is needed.
because it is.
so,
i think,
it is time for you to
run away and avoid me,
and forget ab
out me,
as of this moment,
you should have already
stopped
reading.
i guess,
you are interested
in bitterness,
it is sweet to know that
...
are you
bitter too?

I Dont Want To Go
(released as b-side of its in your eyes single, 1996)
I dont want to see you go
Theres too much to say.
But its gone on for too long
I know how much it hurts to hear
You show it and I know it
So theres no reason for the tears.
I dont want to see you go
Dont want to see you cry.
cos Ive been there and I know it
How much it hurts being left behind
If you hold on, just be strong
Therell come a time.
All things will come to pass, you know
All things will come around
I see your bags are packed
I guess that means you wont be back
Theres nothing left could keep me chained
To get you, bring you back again.
If you hold on, wont be long
Well find our time and place once more
Just hold tight, its alright
Weve been here before.
All things will come to pass, you know
All things will come around.
But if you dont want to stay, say goodbye
My numbers on your wall
cos Ive been there and Ive seen it
Its there beside those other guys
So keep it, you may need it
Theres no more reason for the lies.

Love Hurts
Love hurts,
It hurts to the core
When hands loosen the intimate clasp
And they turn poles apart
One rushing to the North
And the other, South.
Love hurts,
It hurts to the core
When the bunch of withered roses
And thorns, leaves and stems
Gather dust on the window sill
Of a dishevelled house.
Love hurts,
It hurts to the core
When they don't look eye to eye,
And Love is no more blind,
For a raging storm from nowhere takes over
The effeminate steam of
The wintry-morning cup of tea,
Over the bitter argument
Of perfect spoon of sugar,
To be or not to be added
To the flavour of real Indian tea.
Love hurts,
It hurts to the core
For the waiting hurts me more.
Pocahantas
Upon the barren sand,
The lonely captive stood:
Around him came, with bow and brand,
The red men of the wood.
Like one of old, his doom he hears,
Rock-bound on Ocean's brim;
The Chieftain's daughter knelt in tears,
And breathed a prayer for him.
Above his head, in air,
The savage war-club swung:
The frantic maid, in wild despair,
Her arms around him flung;
Then shook the warriors off the shade,
Like leaves on aspen limb,
Subdued by that heroic maid,
Who breathed a prayer for him!
'Unbind him!' gasp'd the Chief;
'It is your King's decree.'
He kiss'd away the tears of grief,
And set the captive free!
'Tis ever thus when, in life's storm,
Hope's Star to man grows dim,
An Angel kneels, in woman's form,
And breathes a prayer for him.

The Weakest Thing
Which is the weakest thing of all
Mine heart can ponder?
The sun, a little cloud can pall
With darkness yonder?
The cloud, a little wind can move
Where'er it listeth?
The wind, a little leaf above,
Though sere, resisteth?
What time that yellow leaf was green,
My days were gladder;
But now, whatever Spring may mean,
I must grow sadder.
Ah me! a leaf with sighs can wring
My lips asunder -
Then is mine heart the weakest thing
Itself can ponder.
Yet, Heart, when sun and cloud are pined
And drop together,
And at a blast, which is not wind,
The forests wither,
Thou, from the darkening deathly curse
To glory breakest, -
The Strongest of the universe
Guarding the weakest!

Too Many Bitter
There's just too many bitter.
And...
Bitter as if it's a gift.
There's just too many bitter.
And...
Ready to release it quick.
There's just too many bitter.
And...
Sharing all their bitterness,
With...
Conflict without the benefit.
But...
Keeping it as if it is,
For them...
Beneficial.
There's just too many bitter.
And...
Ready to release this quick.
Yeah,
Many getting bitter.
And...
Sharing all their bitterness,
With...
Conflict without the benefit.
But...
Keeping it as if it is,
For them...
Beneficial.

Tears We Cry
Tears we cry, tears we cry
Sometimes tears Kalahari dry
Tears we cry, tears we cry
For others many tears
In us for us many fears
For us we haven't tears
Their aches hurt so
But our heartaches hurt too
Why then do we for theirs cry so?
Mine tears don't for me flow
Tears for they my mind blow
Like a virgin turn whore
Went to a funeral
Of a relation to my fellow
How my heart felt hollow
In my gran'pa's requiem
I cried, but not a single scream
Friends spiced my cry like cream
We have wells for their tears
And deserts for our fears' tears
Tears we cry, for they that we cry

Chained
R.sambora
Hey, whats this feeling
Ive never been down this far before
I was scared of believing
That love would never find my door
I was chained
Chained
Chained to my broken dreams
I never knew I was supposed to be
Waiting for someone to come and rescue me
Rescue me
Rescue me.
Hey am I dreaming?
I never woke up from night before
Unaware I was bleeding
Slowly dying like the sun
Going down once more.
I was chained
Chained
Chained to my broken dreams
I never knew just where my life would lead
Hoping that someone would come and rescue me
Rescue me
Rescue me
Rescue me.
Alone in the darkness
til saw the light
Shining from your eyes
Now it burns inside and it keeps me alive
Lord Ive been chained
Ive been chained, yeah.
Was chained
Chained
Chained to these broken dreams
I never knew who supposed to be
Hoping that someone would come and rescue me
Ive been chained
Chained
Ive been chained to these broken dreams
I never knew just where my life would lead
Waiting for you to come and rescue me
Hoping that someone would come and
Rescue me
Rescue me
Rescue me
Ooh yeah
Rescue me

The troops come on with bayonets fixed pushing the people to the mountain’s lip
In a dream I walk in the times gone by
On the western edge of a heartbreak shore
When sleep’s dark fears are howling ‘round
In the bitter bitter dark of a cold wet world
Near the edge of the cliff there’s an angry
crowd with hungry faces crowding around
’fear in their eyes when they hear the drum
In the bitter bitter dark of a cold wet world
The troops come on with bayonets fixed
Pushing the people to the mountain’s lip
A cry goes out as the first goes down
in the bitter bitter dark of a cold wet world
In my dream I walk in the times gone by
As close to the edge as my fears allow
in the air there's a prayer for pity and revenge
In the bitter bitter dark of a cold wet world

Angry Words
Angry words can wound the strongest heart
and sour the brightest smile.
Bringing tears to the fairest eyes
and making the weakest howl.
We always hurt the ones
we should never hurt at all.
Our friends and family,
those would never wish us harm.
In an argument angry words are said,
they just tumble out of our head.
We wish afterwards we could turn back time,
but the words have been spoken and the damage done.

An Irish Mile
In my dream I walk in the times gone by
On the western edge of a heartbreak shore
Where sleep’s dark fears are howling ‘round
In the bitter bitter dark of a cold wet world
Near the edge of a cliff there’s an angry
crowd with hungry faces crowding around

In the bitter bitter dark of a cold wet world
The troops come on with bayonets fixed
Pushing the people to the mountain’s lip
A cry goes out as the first goes down
in the bitter bitter dark of a cold wet world
The troops move off in single file.
The Empire grows by an Irish mile.
A voice cries out from the rocks below in
the bitter bitter dark of a cold wet world
In my dream I walk in the times gone by
As close to the edge as my fears allow
in the air there's a prayer for pity and revenge
In the bitter bitter dark of a cold wet world

Trust Defined
TRUST
Every time I hear this word my stomach aches. My head thumps.
A word that seems to carry so much strength and emotion.
'You can always trust me'.
Rather than hear those words, I prefer to dive face first into a syringe filled ocean
TRUST
Makes everyone second guess themselves and the actions of others.
I know I have made some mistakes.
Ruined our friendship.
Told horrid lies on you.
Stepped on you over and over just to play the martyr.
TRUST me please
translation: Wait til you see what's next.
TRUST
Weakens the strongest of the strong
TRUST
Strengthens the weakest of the weak
TRUST
Or lack there of.
Stimulated
Wars.
Deaths
Homicides
Suicides
Fears
Adultery
A need to rub on the 'Jesus Deodorant' more than once weekly
TRUST
Not a word to take lightly.
TRUST
Makes and breaks
Friendships
Marriages
Families
Any type of relationship and communication between others.
TRUST
Is never to be taken for granted
TRUST
When asked to do so will make our judgment slanted.
TRUST
The strongest four letter word every spoken.
So necessary though.
Society wrapped it all up in a five letter bow

When You Cry
Heaven knows you're with me now
Heaven knows that you're here
I feel your breath all around me now
And all the pain just disappears
It goes away, it goes away
And it only hurts, when you cry
I'm alone inside, when there's tears in your eyes
I can't hide and say I'm fine
But it only hurts, when you cry
You carry too much on your shoulders
I can't wait till you let me down
Cause the only thing we're getting is older
This time never comes back around
You just gave it, gave it away
And it only hurts, when you cry
I'm alone inside, when there's tears in your eyes
I can't hide and say I'm fine
But it only hurts, when you cry
When you cry
Heaven knows you're with me now
And I'll do my best to hold on
Cause nothing is worth all this fighting now
And I won't give up till it's gone
Make it go away, go away
Make it go away, go away
Cause it only hurts, when you cry
I'm alone inside, when there's tears in your eyes
I can't hide and say I'm fine
But it only hurts, when you cry
