Angry Words
Angry words can wound the strongest heart
and sour the brightest smile.
Bringing tears to the fairest eyes
and making the weakest howl.
We always hurt the ones
we should never hurt at all.
Our friends and family,
those would never wish us harm.
In an argument angry words are said,
they just tumble out of our head.
We wish afterwards we could turn back time,
but the words have been spoken and the damage done.

The Things You Say
Words
Said in a careless huff as you walked away
Hurt
Words
Said in a whispered excited voice
Caused electricity in me
Words
Said in a caring loving way
Were a balm for the wound in me
Words
Said in an angry menacing way
Felt like daggers thrown at me
Words
Said like sugary sweet morning due
Caused my knees to go weak
Words
Words, Words, Words..
Your words have so much power over me
Words
Said like a magic spell
Have enchanted me
Words
You throw around those words so carelessly
Do you know
Words
How they have been affecting and inflicting me..

Cannot Stay Mad At People For Long
Sometimes people write words,
when they are frustrated and angry.
They then send those words
to someone to ease what they are feeling,
not knowing how deep that they will hurt.
Then remorse sets in,
they regret what they have written,
but they cannot take those words back,
though they wish they could.
It is too late and they think
a friend they have lost.
The person who received those words,
yes they are hurt. They want to do something in retaliation,
so they ignore that person,
but they find
they cannot stay mad at them for long.
They forgive them
for what they have done,
hoping that when they are frustrated and angry,
they will not take it
again out on them.

Mixed Feelings
The tears I've shed
run down my face,
the fire in my eyes
the betrayal in my heart
and endless footage running in my head.
I cant believe what happened
Who are you?
I dont want to know this person you've become
my heart aches
my eyes are sore,
and I am sick
I'm sick of the same feeling
I'm sick of my heart suffering
I'm sick of people like you
And I'm sick of being the one hurt.
How old are we?
It's about time to grow up
I'm not going to stay quiet anymore
I'm going to show you the real me
and the real me is angry
Angry at the past
Angry at the present
Angry at the future
Most of all angry at you
for making me feel this way
for making me shed my tears
for having my heart betrayed
And for making me regret things in my life
the decisions I've made
the feelings I've felt
and making me hate you today.

Don't Cry
Give me time
To realize my crime
Let me love and steal
I have danced inside your eyes
How can I be real
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Precious kisses
Words that burn me
Lovers never ask you why
In my heart
The fires burning
Choose my color
Find a star
Precious people always tell me
That's a step
A step too far
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Words are few
I have spoken
I could waste a thousand years
Wrapped in sorrow
Words are token
Come inside and catch my tears
You've been talking but believe me
If its true
You do not know
This boy loves without a reason
I'm prepared to let you go
If its love you want from me
Then take it away
Everything is not what you see
It's over again
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry
Do you really want to hurt me
Do you really want to make me cry...

Words Can
Words can hurt
Words can heal
A simple word can mend a broken heart
Just put them out like some people do
The damage that is done
You can never undo
So think of what you are trying to say
Because some words never fade away
They are held in the heart or stuck in the mind
Coming to the surface from time to time
To raise us up or bring us down
Sometimes the words that hurt the most
Are the words we don't say
The ones that use to flow freely from our lips
Telling someone how much we care
Just don't come anymore

Doesnt Anymore Hurt Anymore
I turn on the radio and I begin to dial
I do believe without a doubt the whole worlds in denial
Theyre all singing I love you and what a perfect life
Ive been around enough to know,to know that isnt right
Doesnt anyone hurt anymore
Have the teardrops stopped
No ones walking the floor
And the blues dont ever come around
And knock on the door
No angry words are spoken
No hearts broken
Doesnt anyone hurt anymore
Im not a lonely man locked away in a room
Crying for some lost love and cursing out the moon
But I know theres people out there that love has put to shame
Sometimes a song is all they have to help them through the pain
Doesnt anyone hurt anymore
Have the teardrops stopped
No ones walking the floor
And the blues dont ever come around
And knock on the door
No angry words are spoken
No hearts broken
Doesnt anytime hurt anymore

The Damage In Your Heart
One more time I have crossed the line.
Now you wont be mine anymore.
One more dream vanished up in smoke.
Now I have no hope anymore.
Let it go.
The damage in your heart
Let it go.
The damage in your heart
I cant tell you how the words will make me feel.
I cant tell you how the words will make me feel.
One more tear falling down your face
Doesnt mean that much to the world
One more loss in a losing life
Doesnt hurt so bad anymore.
Let it go.
The damage in your heart
Let it go.
The damage in your heart
I cant tell you how the words will make me feel.
I cant tell you how the words will make me feel.
One more tear falling down your face
Doesnt mean that much to the world
Let it go.
The damage in your heart
Let it go.
The damage in your heart
I cant tell you how the words will make me feel.
I cant tell you how the words will make me feel.

Words To Me Mean
words are just word that mean nothing at all as my heart turns cold i can no longer say i care at all to you that may be wrong but to me words are just words that mean nothing at all but to others they are so much more they are words of felling words of hate and joy and worst of all words of hurt but words are just words i could care less at all with words of love, joy, and laughter you can no longer get me down words are just words that no longer hurt at all so no longer let them take charge words are just words of many words of few may cause trouble or cause joy my heart turns cold at the sight of your hate and rejoice with joy at the sight of happiness so you see words are just words that i can no longer take at all

Early Works - Conscience
I hear the angry crowd
as in my chair I shroud
I can hear their accusations
about my supposed bad intentions.
They all know this hurt
I feel in my heart.
No one is perfect
I know I am not
I don’t try to hide my sin
for I feel the guilt within.
Some show smiles outside
and let tears fall within
for no one is perfect
we all have a conscience.
I hear their angry words
that drive inward like swords,
I hear their hate
in statements they give,
but I always say
live and live
for they know the hurt
I feel in my heart.
No one is perfect
we all have a conscience.

Thine Own Eyes...
my eyes are asking:
hey dude, are you not wasting your sight?
you should have watched
bay bodies
rather than look for words,
hey eyes, i own you
and if i want, i can waste all of you
on words.
where am i? the eyes are angry
but there shall be no tears.
i am the owner of my eyes
and i have always wasted them on
words.
till they close forever
but always without tears.

D. I. V. O. R. C. E.
Our little boy is four years old
And hes quite a little man
So we spell out the words
We dont want him to understand
Like t-o-y, or maybe s-u-r-p-r-i-s-e
But the words were hiding from him now
Tears the heart right out of me
Chorus:
Our d-i-v-o-r-c-e becomes final today
Me and little j-o-e will be going away
I love you both and this will be
Pure h-e-double-l for me
Oh, I wish that we could stop this d-i-v-o-r-c-e
Watch him smile
He thinks its christmas
Or his fifth birthday
And he thinks c-u-s-t-o-d-y
Spells fun, or play
I spell out all the hurtin words
And I turn my head when I speak
Cause I cant spell away this hurt
Thats dripping down my cheek
Repeat chorus

Words
Words on this paper
Words in my head
Words while I'm texting
Computing
Unsaid
Words between people
Words on the phone
Words upon words
Even when I'm alone
Words from the Bible
I question
Don't mesh
Words from pornography
Making them flesh
Words with flat letters
Written in black
Good words and bad words
You cannot take back
Words that are shallow
Words that are deep
When they're too many
They put me to sleep
Words that I'm writing
And rhyming you read
Whatever I'm saying
There's prolly no need
Words from the alphabet
Words that can't be
When you are blind
And it's Braile that you see
Words that are worthless
And said on the fly
My words or your words
Are most likely lies
Words in a sentence
Wise words or fair
The only words earnest
Are those said in prayer

Dont Hurt A Woman
I was angry, I said things I shouldnt say
But please dont turn your back
Sometimes I get so upset
But I take it all back
Please dont go, I know I was wrong
Sometimes I dont know what comes over me
But I try to remember
Dont hurt a woman
Dont hurt a woman
I was angry, I said things I shouldnt say
I must have lost control
Sometimes something clicks in my head
And Im not myself anymore
That wasnt me, you cant believe everything you see
Lets make believe I never said a word
And Ill try to remember
Dont hurt a woman
Try to remember
Dont hurt a woman
Try to remember
Dont hurt a woman
Ill try to remember
Dont hurt a woman
cause I lovin you
So long

Three Little Words
Three words are spoken,
And then forgotten.
Three little words I wish to say,
But hold back the unknown.
My head is dizzy,
My eyes are blurry.
All I think about are,
Those three little words.
For now I will hide,
Those three little words.
Hoping one day,
I can tell him freely.
But those three little words,
Are ‘I love you.’

A Few Words
A few words
Could bring more than a sound
Touch the ears turn wry to golden smile
or sharper than a glass to cut into pieces
Misunderstanding,
Winding up a road between us
Separating emotions out of mind from the case
Would be wrong to let ego reign the grace
How ignorant sometimes heart could be?
Deaf two ears, and blinding opened eyes
Pretend the silence is your voice
Avoiding you is not a choice
Misunderstanding
A curse of few words
Lead a way to stray from the truth
A plead for apologizing replied by ignoring
A few words used for fighting and shouting and hurting
You............Silence
Standing still but beautifully broken
I looked into your eyes and surprised
In a mirror of a story without lies
Heard...listened a word...'sorry'
Encodes a meaning of 'Forgive me'
No, your lips tightly sealed
It is your voice within sent to me
A few words
I used as the sharp glass tease
Cut you deeply, and you bleed
Saw it all behind the naked eyes
But you still standing to hold me
Never mind how wrong i can be
How i can find a magic in a few words
To heal your pain stained and clot
Regretting how wrong i did to you
To believe unreal and count your tears
I never thought so hurtful this way
When i thinking of myself it linking to you
I hurting myself whenever i hurt you
A few words
I tried to search for proper sorry
Would you blind your eyes, deaf two ears?
Words crime sound nothing but now i fear?
It fears me as i don't to lose you
...Forget the past and start a new
we never meant to be hurt...
You replied with A few words
In form of softness creating golden smile
Your sweet words neutralize the voice of bile
I learned how to speak when i was a child
But just understanding 'A few words' now
Misunderstanding
Lesson of learning to understand
If i can turn back each time i hurt you
Will avoid this bruises stamp on you
Now, between this winding road
As i standing at the aisle of choices
Picking either Emotions or Mind
Decided to fuse, balance these two
A relevant choice for not to hurt you
Sanity tell all to me,
We meet not to wait this end
We born to be happy till the end of time
A few words
Powerful or hurtful
Time to choose...

people hurt by our words, unless we make say it better

Sorry!
The phrase 'I'm Sorry' you may agree
Has turned into a social amenity
We say 'I'm Sorry' more than Brenda Lee
Which was a hit song for her back in 1960.
You may not want to acknowledge the damage you've done
The pain that you've brought to spouse, daughter or son.
But if you've done wrong you must see the light
To take a pro-active step to returning things right
There will remain feelings that you can't erase
Lost time and memories that you can't replace
Because of your actions now nothings the same
Take a look in your mirror and know that there's blame.
Maybe those words are one's you won't do.
They may not exist in your new age point of view.
Or, don't want to hear the anger, it might make you blue
It's easier to leave your loved ones hurt and askew.
Just saying I'm sorry is not all it takes
No magical words to make gone the mistakes
Begin the road back with those words from your heart
They do not mark the end but maybe a start.
Your family's your bond like no other glue.
A great family we had, can we renew?
Deep in your heart you know what to do.
If I can say 'I'm sorry' then I think you can too.

Last Words
Words that stick in our minds
we all wonder what the last ones will be
romantic to a lover final goodbye
a fighter gasping to fight till the end
a loner uttering a change to late
a prisoner express his hatred past
words that touch, some that hurt
but to some we don't hear their words
instead we see the tears and anguish in their eyes
there were some great lives, some bad ones
the ones that are missed are lost souls
flowing in time for us to catch and hear
their last words
it's hard to remember those anguish words
tears and cries hide those words
remember those words bad or good
it's the last time you'll hear their voice
last words to live by, cherish life

All I Can Say
The rumor spreads as fast as lighting.
The rumor of me being abusive to my brother.
So far, five other have come to me and asked if this was true.
I wanted to cry for I have never lay a hand on him.
But, I just looked at them with my deep brown eyes and said,
'All I can say is that the day I hurt him is the day when I die.'
The bullying spreads faster that an angry bull.
They bully me like we were little children.
I've already been called a loser, ugly, whore, and freak.
I try not to listen, but it grows harder and harder the more they do it.
But, I just looked at them with a silly look in my eyes and said,
'All I can say is that its your opinion of what I am.'
The pain grows larger inside of me.
The pain of a broken heart from losing my dear friend.
I've been holding back the tears so long.
Holding back just feel wrong.
So I burst into tears, while other in voices so cruel as me what's wrong. I just look at them, smile and say,
'All I can say is I'm tired of holding back the pain and the tears. So please, just leave me here.'
The day was long and trying.
My work was done.
Later that week people are crying over me.
I can not see but I can hear how they describe me.
With words that seemed like they never hurt me, I just lay motionless in that box and said in the sky,
'All I can say is, goodbye.'
