Crossroads

Standing at these crossroads yet again,
My internal satnav consumed by pain.
Nothing but darkness I seem to choose,
If I remain on this path I shall surely lose...

My sanity once more drowning in confusion,
My life's vision has become but an illusion.
I wander through this dream grasping at love,
How many more chances may come from above? ...

Amidst the gloom the light of promise shines,
It has the power to guide me to better times.
Yet these chances they are never plenty,
If I miss them I'll be running on empty...

This may be the final choice I shall make,
We should all learn with each breath that we take.
If life is but a lesson then death is merely a test,
An exam we must pass before our final rest...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Life's lessons...

What lies beyond the doorway,
Between this life and the next.
Could it be a court of souls,
Where we face our final test...

Shall they pick apart a life lived,
Shall they score it out of ten.
Send us on our next great journey,
So that we can do it all again...

Or is there just an empty void,
Where we shall fall forever and a day.
Through waves of deep emotions,
Where peace and love shall surely play...

Or is it just game over,
Coin in the slot and start again.
But if life's lessons are not heeded,
Once again begins the pain...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Lessons learned...

I sit and stare into the vastness of space,
Desperate to find my path and my place.
I ponder what's gone and what's yet to be,
When shall this heart I own ever be free.

Is it a known fact, or just a guess?
That life means little and death means less.
That through all this sorrow, grief and pain,
We shall live our life's in utter vain.

I like to think we're meant for much more,
That the life we live shall tally a score.
And the souls we lost amidst such sorrow,
Shall hold us close in our final tomorrow.

Yet the truth I fear is not what I yearn,
We should all seek to be a lesson to be learned.
For each generation must add to the last,
So we do not repeat the mistakes of our past...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

I Dream...

I dream of a better world, where we are all different shades of the same palette.
I dream of lifes disputes crumbling from our sight, never to be heard again.
I dream of blue skies and radiant flowers, as we stroll together through meadows of hope.
I dream of moonlit nights where the aroma of life permiates the air.
I dream of falling in love with the one who just takes my breath away.
I dream of angels dancing across the starry expanse of our horizon.
I dream of earthly achievements never imagined by men of limited vision.
I dream of peace, no longer the warring beast devouring my fellow man.
I dream of calmer seas that no longer rock the boat of man's tranquility.
I dream of you and I eternal, no more this lonely night of my existance.
I dream of walking on a golden beach with the one I love, hand in hand.
I dream of what might have been, what is now, and what has yet to be revealed.
I dream of no longer forsaking my sanity to the darkness of my emotions.
I dream of no more waking hours consumed by the unfulfilled promise of nirvana.
I am a dreamer, but without dreamers what would our world be?
As empty as a heart that knows not love, As dark as a night bereft of stars.
I feel therefore I must have feelings, I breathe therefore I must be alive.
I sleep therefore I am destined to be a dreamer, so I say dream on.
Let your dreams bring you to a place of everlasting serenity...

Because we exist, We dream...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Lifes highway code...

We are each on our own great journey,
Along the highway of life we travel.
There are many paths that we can choose,
And we watch as our choices unravel.

We all reach crossroads on our journey,
But which way should we proceed?
The choices we make and direction we take,
Should equal our hearts deepest need.

With no signs or markings no clues or pointers,
To help us choose our track.
Once travelling that road the choice is made,
There's no point in looking back.

But more junctions and sliproads lay ahead for us,
Our choices are never an ending.
If we take a wrong turn we can correct our mistake,
A new choice is always pending.

Sometimes our soul's touch and we travel together,
Down the highway of our life.
Along unmarked paths together we walk,
When united we can conquer any strife.

Each step we take a memory we make,
That teaches us countless things.
The further we go the wiser we grow,
As we learn what the future brings.

So journey with hope through an ever changing world,
Along this lifes great road.
When we spread peace and love this lesson we learn,
We should obey lifes highway code...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Life is too short...

I wander across the plains of my lonely existance,
I am like an echo of light amidst the dark,
A moment of clarity lost in the dream of life,
The shadows of life taunt and tease me,
As I gaze upon an ocean of time yet to be,
The ebb and flow of life such a rythmic tide,
Where is my place in this cosmic journey?
For I have become lost and need guidance,
It seems I am destined to wander through life alone,
Cry not for me though, for your tears are in vain,
Life is too short to mourn what has not come to pass...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Life is but a lesson...

At birth I was ripped from my warm safe place,
Yet now I fear death so I flee it with haste.
As a babe in my youth I yearned for more years,
But as time's passed me by it's age I now fear...

Into this world I was born and life gave me breath,
Now each path that I choose always leads to my death.
For both death and life are old inseperable friends,
My life's but a lesson just a means to an end...

If I live life to the fullest will time pass me by?
If I start asking questions will I ever know why?
Wisdom is gibberish and gibberish is clear,
What I most wanted once is now what I most fear...

When I want most to live will it be time to die?
I dont want life to end! Will that be my last cry?
I think death must be life and to leave is to stay,
So I pray hell is heaven when my life slips away...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

Give Love Another Try

After all pain and suffer you been put tooo
Give love another try
I promise you that I won't let you fall down
Take my hand and take this chances while we can
I will make you feel special, happy and smile again
Make our wishes come true
God bless the broken road and
Lead us into each other
Please stand back up on your feet and
Give love another try
You will miss all good times
You will have with me because of past
You shouldn't let this get to you too much
You making yourself all sad and miserable
It's time to let it go
That person was jerk for doing that to you
Deep inside I know you're a great person that I want to love
Don't lose your chance to be with me
Because you will regret this for rest of your life
You will keep wonder
I know what's like from my experience
I miss on a great person
I don't want to get hurt from him or any other guy so
Give love another try

So I Can Smile Again

Show me the point of the surise

So I can trace my path to the point of the sunset

It pays me more this way in life

So I can never miss my path to success again

Show me the goodness of love

One by one, day after day

I could love all around, again and again

And see the goodness so great I‘ve come to realise

Show me the way to greatness

I would strive so hard

To make it so great on my own

Just with a guide or two from you my friends

So I can smile again

In all adversities and give thanks to you

The one most high above

See me so filled with life day after day

So I can smile again

In times of plenty

And struggle so hard in times of few

Step after step, I could build a lasting edifice you know

So I can smile again

And walk so majestically and gracefully

With all my achievements this far

Still hoping I could lend a helping hand when the need arises

So I can smile again

And walk up to you, my friends in Diaspora

With my hands so wide to embrace all

Peace is all we need and one world we must choose to remain

So I can simile again

After each blessing I receive from you, my Lord

Just can’t thank you enough

But a promise I‘ve made to be yours forever

Remain as human

Who will take us to destiny?
When there is confusion and uncertainty?
We are guideless and live amidst fear
Who can land ears and patiently hear?

We have erred many times in past
We have no fair chances to last
Only prayers and humbleness can rescue
Such transition is must and over due

Lord chose the path to remain as human
To feel the pulse as woman and man
What did we do to justify his birth?
Only pain and agony leading to death

Who else was to descend and lead again?
There was no purpose or any gain
Still the mother took to challenge with cause
Humanity at large with breathing space for peace

The guilt of innocence...

Sentenced to death for a crime I did not commit,
Execution at dawn... such a cliché,
All of my last request's denied,
Morning arrives on the final day of my existance,
Paraded through the streets like some kind of prize,
The aroma of life so evident in my final hours,
Dragged up onto this hellish platform, dignity stripped,
These man made gallows offer such a view 0f life,
How ironic that life is my final view when death comes to call,
Blindfold refused, rope placed around my neck,
Trembling uncontrolably... Goodbye cruel world,
Trap door opens and I fall, neck snapped like a twig,
Spiraling deeper and deeper into the darkness of the abyss,
May the maker have mercy upon my soul...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

The Path of Hope

The Path of Hope
The Path of Life is layed before you
Life is like a novel…It has elements
It has Characters
It has Settings
It has a Plot
It has Ideals and Morals
Like Friendship and Love
Like Faith and Sacrifice
Like Fate and Destiny
Like Hope and Despair
There are Paths…Paths of your destiny
The Path of Good or The Path of Evil
The Path of Darkness or The Path of Light
The Path of Hope or The Path of Despair
Only you can choose your path
But chose wisely…For you can’t turn back time
You must follow your heart…For it will guide you
Never give up on your dreams
Always Believe…Trust your heart
Don’t let the bad people get you down
Just Believe,
Trust your Heart,
Have Faith in your Dreams,
Have Hope in the Despair,
Follow the Light in the Darkness
Find the Euphoria in the Sorrows,
Trust your Friends,
Follow the Stars…They will Guide you
May the Stars be a Light for you when all other Lights go out
Life is like a Novel…

Following God

To follow God, it is my choice, as I hear that inner voice,
Of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, guiding me through my life,
To follow Him, as my guide, as Jesus walks by my side,
Guiding me, in all that I do; as He daily sees me through.

Given the choice, if I choose, to walk alone, I could lose,
The peace of God deep inside, when in the Spirit I abide;
Or blessing and joy my friend, as I go around each bend,
But, with Christ, I am content, wherever by God I am sent.

To walk in His Righteousness, life's filled with fruitfulness,
In my deeds along the way, as He guides me, day to day,
Fruitfulness which is from God, as I walk this earthly sod,
While I'm guided from above, in the Spirit's light and love.

If I choose to walk alone, I lose that power, of His Throne,
Power from the Spirit of Christ, to deal with trial and strife,
If I walk opposing the Spirit, ignoring His voice as I hear it,
I am open to the subtlety, of deceptive ways of the enemy.

So my choice is The Lord; my ways by Him aren't ignored,
As The Spirit truly guides me, in life with grace abundantly,
As He helps me live for God, led by Christ's staff and rod,
In this life, as He blesses me, as I'm on my way to Eternity.

Choose or Lose

Every day there's a fork in the road.
Do you settle for pie less a la mode?
Are you the seller or being sold?
Are you the teller or being told?

If you choose, you might be right;
If you don't, you lose the fight…
A fight to know where you stand,
Pursuing ways solely you planned.

If afraid to choose, you surely lose,
Missing chances only you refuse.
That choice is there just for you.
Let not love nor money dim your view.

In name and gender you had no choice.
Now able to choose, in unflinching voice,
Proclaim that friends you select
Reflect your own self respect.

Decide what's best and then believe
What you choose you will receive.
Accept no less than your worth.
You're the only one of you on earth!

Choose

A blade held in one hand
A pen held in the other
Now I must decide
I must choose one or another
A gund sits in my left hand
A phone lies in the right
Should I try to ask for help
Or just give up the fight
One path cloaked in darkness
One is bright with life
Do I choose the easy one
Or continue through the strife
Some say we are nothing more
Than the choices that we make
That where we are going
Comes from the steps we take
Peolpe cry out for advise
Untill they lose their voice
They are all wasting their breath
It comes down to their choice
I have come across that point
I'm panting scarce of breath
Now I must make up my mind
Do I choose Life or Death?

My Times Are In His Hands

All my times are in the hands of the only true Mighty Sovereign God,
And He is by my side every day, and goes with me every where I trod.

Each day He allows me to choose the very path I would like to take,
But every day He faithfully directs each and every step that I make.

When my choice leads me to follow people down a path that is wrong,
He will very gently guide me away from what could be an evil throng.

When something happens in my life that I simply can not understand,
I just look up to The Lord in prayer, and He take's me by the hand.

When my life for no reason seems to go through unpredictable stages,
The Spirit will gently lead my thoughts to The Rock of All the Ages.

When my life seems to be so uncertain, and I wonder why I am here,
The Lord whispers “I lead you this far so you needn't have to fear.”

When my life takes a turn and I wonder to The Lord where am I going?
The Spirit again reminds me, that my Lord is one who is all knowing.

When by my own choice, I follow my fleshly lusts and begin to stray,
My Father's loving compassion always leads me back to the Only Way.

Even though the choice I make brings into my life a dark aftermath,
The Lord will shine His light down upon me, to guide me on my path.

Finally, when The Lord takes me home, that bright and glorious day,
I will look back upon my life and see He truly lead me all the way.

On Death

John Keats.

Can death be sleep, when life is but a dream?
and scenes of bliss pass as a phantom by.
The transient pleasures as a vision seem
and yet we think the greatest pain’s to die.

Glosa a tribute

Can death be sleep when life is but a dream.
The final dreamless sleep which grants us rest
.Or better yet part of some greater scheme
which guarantees we all find release.

From misery which seems always to increase
and scenes of bliss pass as a phantom by
on flying feet as if they’re loath to cease
their swift progress momentarily.

They pass as swiftly as a stray sunbeam
which penetrates through cloudy skies of gray.
The transient pleasures as a vision seem
a sign of hope that quickly fades away.

Why is that we suffer constantly
It may well be death sets us free to fly
towards the light where we are meant to be
.And yet we think the greatest pain’s to die.

The Final Goodbye

The Final Goodbye
Time after time we have to say the final goodbye
To someone we deeply care about
*
Time after time we have to pay our last respect to the dead
Is there a lesson to be learnt
*
Is it the pain of everlasting departure
Or the gain of joy that we
Showed love and care
While you were there
Is that the lesson to be learnt
*
I feel a sense of emptiness now that you are gone
And after all has been said and done
I know that this life must still go on
*
I loved you
I respected you
I was privileged to share precious moments with you
I miss you
You are bigger than a princess
In my eyes you were the queen
But I am happy because
I am taking away beautiful memories of you
That's the lesson you have taught me
*
With this I say the Final Goodbye
Goodbye my Dear

The Need To Be Free

In my dream I wander a moonlit night,
All across my heaven the stars shine bright.
Each star a shining stepping stone,
Lighting a path that leads me home...

Gone are the days when men were the same,
For now we compete and life is just a game.
Each night I weep into the darkness,
Every tear I weep just makes me feel less...

My dream is a dream that has no end,
On golden angel wings this life we can mend.
The pain we carry is just like a disease,
It keeps us in turmoil, prevents us from ease...

There are days for us with no more hurt,
Where we no longer struggle in the dirt.
For each of us possess the true life key,
The desire of life and the need to be free...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

I am but an Angel...

I am but a twinkling star in your life of dreams,
In your eyes I stare into a beauty so extreme.
My heart it has taken flight upon this whipping wind,
I hear the calling of your soul something must begin...

Lost amidst a monsoon, raindrops falling from above,
I am incomplete and empty I need somone to love.
I am but a whisper hear me calling out your name,
Perhaps you will answer and begin this lovers game...

I've been lost within the darkness concealing what I know,
But with your light now shining, it's time for me to grow.
For I am but a raindropp that falls gentle on your face,
Lingers there and sparkles until it is erased...

I know not where we're going or where this path may lead,
I am merely the planter all my words are just as seeds.
Will you be the water that shall surely make them grow?
For I am but a rainstorm let me teach you all I know...

I am but a moment waiting here for only you,
I am but an echo until you decide what's true.
I am but an angel sent from high above
I have brought with me the gift of peace and love...

Spread the love... The peace will follow...

I Hope You Miscarry

A very dark rewrite of Leeann Womack's I hope You Dance

I hope you never feel that sense of wonder
You get to see other women happy with theirs but never hold one of your own
May your unborn babe never take one single breath of life
God forbid love ever bless you
I hope you feel so small and empty that you long only to throw yourself into the ocean
Whenever one door closes I hope no other ever opens
Promise me that you'll quit giving your pregnancy a fighting chance
And when the choice to give life or to miscarry comes along

I hope you miscarry....I hope you miscarry

I hope you always fear those nightmares in the distance
Always settle for the path of least resistance
Givin' birth might mean takin' chances
Chances you know you're just not worthy of takin'
Havin' that baby would only be a mistake
A mistake you have the choice not to be makin'
Don't let some Hell bent husband try to tell you any better
When you come close to deciding to keep your baby reconsider
Give the heavens above an angel to mother than you ever could
And when you get the choice to give birth or miscarry

I hope you miscarry...I hope you miscarry
I hope you miscarry...I hope you miscarry
Life is a constant emotion always running us down
Tell me why do you wanna look back and regret the years of lost youth that your baby will steal from you

I hope you feel so small and empty that all you long to do is throw yourself in the ocean
Whenever one door closes I hope no other ever opens
Promise me that you'll quit giving your pregnancy a fighting chance
And when you get the choice to give life or to miscarry

Miscarry...I hope you miscarry
I hope you miscarry...
I hope you miscarry...
I hope you miscarry...
I hope you miscarry....

Life is a constant emotion always running us down
Tell me why do you wanna look back and regret the years of lost youth that your baby will steal from you
