Not The Perpetrators Of The Crime
I caught a burglar in my home,
He was armed with a knife,
When I asked him why he just replied,
You'd better not give me strife
I told him I would call the police,
If he refused to leave,
He looked at me then laughed and said,
What will that achieve.
He said he'd claim it was all my fault,
For trying to get him nabbed,
Because I'd threatened him with arrest,
That would justify me being stabbed.
At that I drew my firearm,
I warned him I would shoot,
He just stood there laughing,
He didn't give a hoot.
He told me he would have me charged,
If I did him any harm,
He also said he'd sue me,
For causing him alarm.
He pointed out that I was cruel,
For locking all my doors,
He said It was inconsiderate,
As breaking in gave him sores.
Because he was classed as vulnerable,
He said he'd make the claim,
That I was the one harassing him,
He said I'd get the blame.
I told him that I'd had enough,
It was time to call the police,
He laughed and said, go for it,
It's me they will release.
I looked at him and said, you're mad,
He replied, that talk incites,
You've not only hurt my feelings now,
You have breached my human rights.
Just at that the police arrived,
He told them he was shattered,
Then claimed that I'd assaulted him,
I had left him bruised and battered.
He told the police he was on drugs,
A method well tried and tested,
For when he said I'd terrorised him,
It was me that they arrested.
As he walked away after being released,
He said he was full of elation,
I'd be hearing from his solicitor soon,
With a claim for compensation.
He claimed not only would he win,
But I'd be paying the fee,
As he'd never worked a day in his life,
His lawyer was entirely free.
Society is in meltdown now,
The victims are forgotten,
The scum can do whatever they like,
To the core our system's rotten.
When will the do-gooders realise,
Criminals are nothing but slime,
It's the victims that should be protected,
'' Not The Perpetrators of the crime ''

I Got Caught
I ‘'borrowed'' some money from my bank,
Around a million bucks,
Now I'm languishing in the pen,
The financial system sucks.
I only did what others do,
That was to speculate,
I would have paid it back to them,
But the judge said that didn't equate.
I told her I was innocent,
It was just a bit of fun,
She asked me if that was the case,
Why did I need a gun.
I said I'd never have used it,
It was purely used for fright,
For when they seen my weapon,
They'd maybe see the light.
While I only stole a million,
The bosses steal more than me,
Yet none of them are by my side,
They're all out there bloody free.
If only they had not refused,
When I asked them for a loan,
They told me I had no chance,
It's like getting blood from a stone.
Just like them I helped myself,
Yet mine is classed as crime,
While the bankers rob us blind,
I'm in here doing time.
So the moral of this story is,
If you're going to rob a bank,
Make sure you get the managers job,
Then the police you can outflank.
While they're allowed to help themselves,
With no need to feel distraught,
The banker and me are so alike,
The difference is,
‘'I Got Caught''
Sirens
I hear them again.
The sirens are on their way.
In come the police.
Along with the paramedics.
Off to hospital I have to go.
They can't leave me.
Not now they've been told.
My suicide can't go on.
Becuase the sirens are screaming.
Here are the police.
Who I hate with all my might.
Saving my life.
They don't care about my strife.

If Someone 'Stays' Observant
For someone who has bruises on their head.
Two swollen eyes that are blackened.
One sprained wrist...
And a full cast on a broken leg.
You...
Have asked me,
To prove to you there is a relevance connected...
That pays,
Without a doubt...
If someone 'stays' observant.
'Yeah!
That's right.
What do you mean by that? '
I don't think there is anything left,
I could say in words...
That will get you to comprehend,
What I am talking about.
'Oh yeah?
You always 'think' you know EVERYTHING.
But you don't.
You are not immuned from learning lessons,
You know?
You are not 'that' smart.
And I am no dummy.'
Okay.
So what did your lawyer say,
About the police report?
'Like I told him and the police...
That driver should have seen me using my cellphone.'
But you were talking on it,
Standing in the middle of the street.
'BUT...
WHO was driving that car?
Was I driving that car?
Everyone wants to make those who are innocent,
Look as if crimes committed against them...
Is a result of something 'they' have done.
And I am sick and tired of hearing that.'

God Help You If You Drive
I've burgled, raped and pillaged,
But I find it really funny,
The police don't tend bother me,
It would cost them too much money.
I've committed countless other crimes,
But I know I won't be sought,
It means that they would have to work,
That's why I won't get caught.
The reason they won't come after me,
Is all to do with logistics,
Drivers are an easy touch,
We boost their crime statistics.
Leave your vehicle without road tax,
The police will be in a rush,
You'll be fined, they'll steal your car,
Saying sorry but we have to crush.
Overstay the parking lot,
You'll soon feel put upon,
When you come back to drive away,
You'll find your car has gone.
At first you'll think it's stolen,
It's nowhere to be found,
Then when you phone the police for help,
They'll say, ‘'it's in the pound''.
You will not be shown sympathy,
Of common sense there'll be a lack,
You'll have to pay big money,
If you want to get it back.
The fines can be worth more than the car,
They'll cost you a bloody mint,
If and when you claim it back,
Either way you'll end up ''skint''
It's akin to highway robbery,
But they think it's really deft,
In effect they steal your car,
But don't get charged with theft.
If I get caught committing murder,
My lawyer will be misleading,
But woe betide the drivers,
Whenever they're caught speeding.
They tell you you're on camera,
We've got you banged to rights,
If you try to argue back,
They'll say you went through red lights.
If you argue you are innocent,
You're well and truly sunk,
They'll say you smell of alcohol,
Therefore you must be drunk.
They'll treat you like a piece of dirt,
Their attitude will be abrupt,
Is it really any wonder,
We think they're all corrupt.
To the police you're an easy target,
Why look for the robbers stash,
It's easier to pick on drivers,
To them we're worth more cash.
Every single driving offence,
Carries a hefty fine,
You'll get less for armed robbery,
If you step out of line.
There is an easy answer,
Take it easy, don't make a fuss,
Get rid of the wretched car,
Then go jump on a bloody bus.
It's a really sad indictment,
But sadly it's a fact,
Commit any crime you want to,
But don't breach the road traffic act.
The weight of the law will come down on you,
You'll have a licence full of points,
In addition you'll get banned from driving,
You'd get less for selling joints.
Ask a policeman what his job is,
He'll say preventing and solving crime,
But you drivers are the easiest prey,
For real criminals we have no time.
As crime levels soar throughout the world,
Police targets must be met,
Motorists are the easy option,
It's you they'll be out to get.
They'll bully and intimidate you,
Their harassment will go far,
That henious crime you're responsible for,
Driving your beloved car.
So the moral of this story is,
That's why real criminals thrive,
Murder and rob just who you like,
but,
‘' God Help You If You Drive''.

Public Safety
You have no 'constitutional' rights,
To police protection.
The police are there to uphold the 'law'.
Public safety...
That's all!
And 'if' it has been determined,
That 'law' has been broken...
Guess who is going to jail?
That is certain.
Those 'laws' will prevail!
People yelling, 'Protect me and mine! '
Will find themselves ignored,
Most of the time!
Police are trained to deal with you psychologically...
However,
Your individual needs...
Are not theirs to feed!
Your rights to protect yourself is best.
And that's why the streets are full of such unrest!
IF you have problems with this as it is...
Know what those laws are!
And why crime has risen...
Bringing folks to tears.
And your individual feelings,
Are not part of constitutional business!
You have no 'constitutional' rights,
To police protection.
The police are there to uphold the 'law'.
Public safety...
That's all!
And your taxes 'may' be used,
To fill a pothole!

The military police
One afternoon
just after returning from work
there was a knock on the front door
and three military policemen
with flat orange hats,
and orange arm flashes
demanded to come in
and wanted to search my place
as somebody had told them
that I was a friend of someone
for whom they had an arrest warrant
for not turning up to camp
and the simpletons thought
that I was hiding him.
Being in the citizens force,
I intensely disliked the military police
and knew that he was quite safe from them
and showed them the gate
which made them really angry,
but they were furious
when I told them that I knew
where to find him
and that they could go
to the local police station
where he was on duty.

They Won't Want To Go Back
While we live our lives as best as we can,
There are those who couldn't care less,
The criminal fraternity do what they like,
We're left to pick up the mess.
Soft justice favours the criminals,
While the victims are the ones left to rot,
To turn the tide the other way,
A hard lesson needs to be taught.
Take the murderers they don't give a damn,
Jail for them doesn't hold any fears,
Three square a day free drugs and no rent,
Then back out in just a few years.
There are those who advocate killing us all,
Yet these terrorists are now cowering in fear,
Saying please don't send us to the U.S.of A.
We'd much rather do our time here.
The rapists and thief's who couldn't care less,
They'll do it day in and day out,
They show no remorse for their victims,
Then ask what are we all about.
If they mug an old man or a women,
Which results in their violent demise,
They will not be charged with their murder,
For their lawyers make out it's all lies.
We are now running scared of the criminals,
The do gooders have them in their sights,
There's money galore to be made from these thugs,
It's the innocents who have no human rights.
Society now favours the criminal,
They're much better off than us,
When we ask why there's no retribution,
We're told to stop making a fuss.
They now live in five star prisons,
We want more is what their lawyers shout,
The more we give them the more they demand,
No wonder they don't want to come out.
Soon they'll be appealing their sentences,
Telling us we need to be tough,
They're enjoying prison life so much,
Their sentences are not long enough.
The do good brigade fall over themselves,
Criminals aren't bad they'd have you believe,
While criminals make them lots of money,
They'll continue living to deceive.
These poor souls need everyone's sympathy,
For their crimes they are never to blame,
This attitude is why they don't give a damn,
Then go out and do more of the same.
They tell you they had a bad childhood,
They were given a really hard time,
The hardships they've had to endure in their life
Is why they were drawn into crime?
They wouldn't know a hard time if it hit them,
But they're brainwashed that's what to believe,
They've wanted for nothing all of their lives,
Yet the victims are the ones left to grieve.
There are people who've fought in bloody wars,
Those who have worked all their days,
They had rationing and living with nothing,
They were never part of the criminal craze.
It's now time to get tough with these scumbags,
Soft soaping them is one major gaffe,
If they knew they'd be properly punished,
They wouldn't be so quick to laugh.
They need to know that when they're caught,
Their punishment will be severe,
No remission or an easy life,
That must be made crystal clear.
They must pay all their own legal fees,
That will stop their endless appeals,
No drugs or mobiles, no satellite T.V.
Fed with the most basic of meals.
One hundred years for murder,
No mercy or any parole,
They'll endure hard labour until they are dead,
There'll be no repose of their soul.
Trafficking drugs you'll be jailed for life,
You can't say you were being led,
You're responsible for your own actions,
You've created the walking dead.
Raping, burglary and knife crime,
Will be treated in much the same way,
If you're willing to commit the offence,
Incarceration is the price you will pay.
Paedophiles are truly a breed apart,
For them no mercy should be shown,
They must rot in jail until they are dead,
Punished for the seeds they have sown.
When they learn we mean what we're saying,
They'll beg us to cut them some slack,
When our prisons become a deterrent,
you can bet,
‘' They Won't Want To Go Back ‘'
If I Told You That
Now tell me how you feel if I told
You that I have feelings for you
Ansd would it be so wrong to say
Whats on my mind
Im sorry I have to
We were friends but with time
What I feel inside for you has changed
But Id give up on love, if I thought
That it was untrue for you
(if I told you that) I wanted to see you
(and if I told you that) I beg to please you
(if I told you that) Ill always keep you
What would you say (if I told you that)
I know that we were just friends
But what if I decide to bring somethings in
I hope it wont offend the trust
We have cause I dont want this to end
I you think that well lose what we have
Then Id just rather stay (rather stay) the same
(Id rather stay the same)
Cause I dont wanna choose
Between two of the most precious things to me
(tell me)
(if I told you that) I wanted to see you
(and if I told you that) I beg to please you
(if I told you that) Ill always keep you
What would you say (if I told you that)
If we take this chance and extend
To each other romance
I hope it would be
The right thing for you and me
(if I told you that) I wanted to see you
(and if I told you that) I beg to please you
(if I told you that) Ill always keep you
What would you say (if I told you that)
Would you be there for me
Could you dare to hold me
Will my feelings leave me
Lonely if I told you

Should Never Have Told Me
You should have never told me
That you love me
You should have never told me, told me, told me
That you care
Ever since that day I saw your lovely face
You were on my mind
I knew that one day I would make you love me
It was just a matter of time
Every night and every day, girl
Im thinking of you
Girl, I cant believe youre mine
Way you kiss, youre right on time
Should have never told me
That you love me
You should have never told me, told me, told me
That you care
If by chance I owned the whole world
Id give it to you
All im trying to say
Love you through and through
Girl, lets stay together for life
cause you are my sugar and spice
Should have never told me
That you love me
You should have never told me, told me, told me
That you care
Naw, baby
Oh, baby
Should have never told me
That you love me
Should have never told me, told me, told me

The Police of The World
All wars of the U.S. are a police actions of some sort.
Lets face it we are the police of the world.
We always claim its for peace.
We always justify it with human atrocities.
Even genocide does not give us the right
We are not the negotiators.
But the enforcers of ideas as our own.
We claim it for the better.
But who has actually been reading this letter.
Defined by what in between the black lines.
What is the hidden agenda is it this time.
Is it oil?
Is it a base, of a prime location.
Are they the makers of our salvation.
Let me make proclamation.
If it doesn't involve us why are we their.
As a saying I heard once.
Why invade those who will eventually destroy themselves.
And that what we are doing destroying ourselves.
With billions of dollars spent in wars that we can't end, or we should be in.
But that's more important then kids education.
But that's more important then putting food on the table.
But that's more important then bringing ourselves out of a depression.
But that's more important then providing decent health care.
The one budget that will not be cut, is the one that should.
By the greed of man, we have become of the damned.

The Untold Story
You once told me your race
(Not if I really cared)
You once showed me the true color of your face
(Not if that mattered)
You are whom you want to be
You are the sheep, you are the bee.
You once told me who you were
Once you discovered what the dean did
You called the police supervisor
And filed a report, there you hid
Your true genealogy
You wanted to be conveniently
Different than the jerk
Because there was no perk
For you to win
What an egregious sin
What a sad hypocrite
You are the pit
The pit bull that lies
And the other one, the cat
That steals the pies
You are no different than the bat
Who behaved like a wise crow
At day time and at night time
Chased the house mouse like a deadly owl
I never knew you’d stoop so low
By perjuring yourself; you duly committed a crime
By lying; you are just like the scarecrow
The kleptomaniac, which filed the death certificate
To claim the benefits that no longer fit.
You once told me your race
(Not if I really cared)
I just wanted the black ace
(Because that truly mattered)
The white pearl, the black gold
The white gold and my story told.

Fay and You and the Ruler.
Fay met you
on your way home
from school
standing by the entrance
of Meadow Row
she was in her school uniform
a satchel
over a shoulder
how was school?
she asked
boring and the day
too long
you replied
but at least
you can learn things
she said
like how
to make a candle
holder in woodwork?
finding some river
in India
I'll never see?
you said
she smiled shyly
well maybe you will
she said
how are you?
you asked
ok
she replied
got told off
by Sister Bernard
for not having a ruler
what did you do
with your ruler?
you asked
lost it
she said
ah well
there you are
you said
naughty naughty
she walked on
down Meadow Row
and you walked
beside her
actually
she said quietly
my daddy took it
she stood still
and stared at you
he beat me
with it
she said
in a whisper
you looked
into her eyes
and saw your
reflection there
two yous
staring back
why?
you asked
taking in her paleness
her fair hair tied
in a ponytail
he said l hadn't done
my jobs properly
jobs?
you asked
around the house
helping my mum
and did you? help?
yes usually
but I forgot
this time
big crime
you said
won't he give
the ruler back?
no
she said
he said he will keep it
as a lesson to me
can't you buy
a new one?
you asked
I haven't any money
she said
you can have
one of mine
you said
I have plenty at home
can I borrow one?
you can have one
she smiled weakly
her eyes lit up
and she took one
of your hands
and held it
I'll have to hide it though
she said
or he'll take
that one too
quite a guy your dad
you said
she looked away
at the bombed out houses
on the left hand side
you saw her hurt
and sadness
some things you can't hide.

When Innocence Doesn't Matter
I've been there before
When I wasn’t even guilty
What they found didn’t belong to me
But they made me feel so filthy
Put me in hand cuffs
Then put me in shackles
While they put me in the police car
I swear I could hear evil cackles
You’re gonna get it now
You won’t get out this time
Your gonna do a bid
For your freaking crime
But Your Honor it’s wasn’t mine
But it was in your CAR
But still I don’t smoke that stuff
Must have been the guy from the bar
I was a little bit drunk
When this guy asked for a ride
He didn’t look very scary
So we both went outside
Took me a while to find the car
And unlocked all the doors
My new friend buckled up
With his feet planted on the floor
Where to I asked him
Just up the road a bit
Then he lit a pot pipe
And took a deep hit
He asked me if I wanted any
that’s when I saw the flashing lights
I told him I don’t do that shit
But thought what a freaking night
Then we got pulled over
There was so much smoke
I couldn’t prove I didn’t hit it
That I didn’t a toke
So in the car I went
And they took me off the jail
I had to call my dad to help
But he couldn’t make the bail
So off to jail I went
I was innocent of possession
Now I was really mad
And filled with depression
What I didn’t know
Was that he had a gun
He left it my car
When he couldn’t run
They told me it doesn’t matter
Whether or not I draw
Cause when it’s in your car
Possession is the law
The other guy went to jail too
But that don’t bother me none
I can’t believe I was so stupid
To give ride to a guy with gun
I was going off to jail
For three hundred days
Course they lowered the charge
But in prison I still had to stay
I would get off for good behavior
I wasn’t criminal, of course I would
So after one hundred and fifty days
I finally got out for good

Cloony The Clown
I'll tell you the story of Cloony the Clown
Who worked in a circus that came through town.
His shoes were too big and his hat was too small,
But he just wasn't, just wasn't funny at all.
He had a trombone to play loud silly tunes,
He had a green dog and a thousand balloons.
He was floppy and sloppy and skinny and tall,
But he just wasn't, just wasn't funny at all.
And every time he did a trick,
Everyone felt a little sick.
And every time he told a joke,
Folks sighed as if their hearts were broke.
And every time he lost a shoe,
Everyone looked awfully blue.
And every time he stood on his head,
Everyone screamed, 'Go back to bed!'
And every time he made a leap,
Everybody fell asleep.
And every time he ate his tie,
Everyone began to cry.
And Cloony could not make any money
Simply because he was not funny.
One day he said, 'I'll tell this town
How it feels to be an unfunny clown.'
And he told them all why he looked so sad,
And he told them all why he felt so bad.
He told of Pain and Rain and Cold,
He told of Darkness in his soul,
And after he finished his tale of woe,
Did everyone cry? Oh no, no, no,
They laughed until they shook the trees
With 'Hah-Hah-Hahs' and 'Hee-Hee-Hees.'
They laughed with howls and yowls and shrieks,
They laughed all day, they laughed all week,
They laughed until they had a fit,
They laughed until their jackets split.
The laughter spread for miles around
To every city, every town,
Over mountains, 'cross the sea,
From Saint Tropez to Mun San Nee.
And soon the whole world rang with laughter,
Lasting till forever after,
While Cloony stood in the circus tent,
With his head drooped low and his shoulders bent.
And he said,'THAT IS NOT WHAT I MEANT -
I'M FUNNY JUST BY ACCIDENT.'
And while the world laughed outside.
Cloony the Clown sat down and cried.

Ch 07 On The Effects Of Education Story 10
The wife of a dervish had become enceinte and when the time of her confinement was at hand, the dervish who had no child during all his life said: ‘If God the most high and glorious presents me with a son, I shall bestow everything I possess as alms upon dervishes, except this patched garment of mine which I am wearing.’ It happened that the infant was a son. He rejoiced and gave a banquet to the dervishes, as he had promised. Some years afterwards when I returned from a journey to Syria, I passed near the locality of the dervish and asked about his circumstances but was told that he had been put in prison by the police. Asking for the cause, I was told that his son, having become drunk, quarrelled and having shed the blood of a man, had fled; whereon his father was instead of him loaded with a chain on his neck and heavy fetters on his legs. I replied: ‘He had himself asked God the most high and glorious for this calamity.’
If pregnant women, O man of intellect,
Bring forth serpents at the time of birth,
It is better in the opinion of the wise
Than to give birth to a wicked progeny.

Walks by me to get to him police man (2x)
He won the lottery by being born
Big hand slapped a white male merican
Do no wrong, so clean cut...
Dirty his hands, it comes right off
Police man (2x)
Police stopped my brother again (3x)
Police man (2x)
Jesus greets me...looks just like me...
Do no wrong, so clean cut
Dirty his hands, it comes right off
Police man (3x)
Police stopped my brother again (3x)
Police man (2x)
Police stopped my brother again (3x)
Police man (3x)
All my pieces set me free...human devices set me free...
All my pieces set me free... (2x) } (2x)
Human devices set me free... (2x) }

I practised in London for Olympic Heats?
A beggar like old man once read my palm in a city Railway station and he predicted: You'll be a Pilot or a constant runner in your whole life.
Yes, It's getting closer the date,27th of July.
And I practised outside the Olympic stadium
on a lonely street for the 800 meters Relay?
Suddenly I was caught by a police officer
and he questioned me of my valid papers.
Then I said; 'Don't worry Sir!
I am one of your colonial cousins
and I never forget the hospitality.
I have participated the Royal Wedding
and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee
with my old Gabardine suit.
Don't you remember once you arrested me
under suspicion of stealing the Big Ben? '
They handcuffed me and I was awake
to the jerk & batton beating in the police car.
I asked my wife where my running shoes?
'O sorry darling! I left them in the police car.'
She's worried and brought the Sugar-meter
'Don't know whether you're getting the coma again? '
She looked embarassed!

Kid's truth lands pop in soup
It was a bright summer’s day
And a man was driving his car
It seems he was crossing the speed limit
So it’s obvious the police weren’t far
The police chased him all the way
But the man had already reached his house
He admitted himself inside
Looking as terrified as a mouse
He asked his wife to tell
The police that he hadn’t come
And he concealed himself in the bedroom
Feeling depressed, scared and glum
The police arrived and asked the wife where he was
She said he wasn’t there
When her three year old daughter stepped up
With cheeks so chubby and fair
She piped up in her little voice,
“If you want to know just ask me
Daddy’s hiding in the bedroom
Why don’t you go and see? ”
The police caught the man
And asked him, “Well, what do you say,
It seems because of your own daughter
You are in trouble today”
The man just shook his head and said,
“I am to be blamed for this tumult
I always taught my daughter never to lie
And this is the result! ”
