Jackie

Jackie lies trapped beneath a heavy man,
who didn’t care, or give a damn.
She’s waiting for the police to arrive
because this man’s no longer alive.

The night began with her friends in town
visiting the pubs and doing the rounds.
With endless laughs they were having a ball,
flirting with guys as last drinks were called.

The girls decided it was time for a meal
and an Indian curry was full of appeal.
Food was hot and they enjoyed what they had,
but Jackie ate too much, and she felt bad.

She went outside to get some air,
a car stopped and the driver spoke to her.
He pulled her in and then sped away
and came to a halt just off the highway.

He parked the car behind some trees
and tried to get her to open her knees.
Jackie screamed to leave her alone,
and begged him to take her home.

He pulled her towards the open door,
but she became stuck between seat and floor.
Dragging her clear he threw her to the sand,
threatening her, with knife in hand.

Fighting and struggling she told him he’d get life,
but as he was unzipping he dropped the knife.
Jackie grabbed the handle and he grabbed the blade.
As he fought for control, her decision was made.

She plunged the knife deep into his chest,
trapping the handle between him and breast.
Unable to push him off, she reaches his phone.
The police are coming, but she’s not alone.

Is this your life, jackie brown?
Poorly educated and forced to live on the poor side of town.
Is this your daughter, jackie brown?
This pretty little girl
In the worn out clothes
That have been hand-me down.
Is this your wife, jackie brown?
With sad blue eyes, walking on eggshells so you dont see her frown.
Is this your family, jackie brown?
Dream of vacationing on a mountain stream
And giving the world more than it gave you.
What ugly truths freedom brings
And it hasnt been very kind to you.
Is this your life, jackie brown?
Is this your meal, jackie brown?
Barely enough, Ive seen people throw away more than this out.
Is this your home, jackie brown?
This three room shack
With no running water
And the bathroom out back.
Is this your grave, jackie brown?
This little piece of limestone that says another desperate man took
Himself out.

Going nowhere and nowhere fast
We shame ourselves to watch people like this live.
But who gives a damn about jackie brown?
Just another lazy man who couldnt take what was his.

Ms. Jackie was limble
Ms. Jackie was quick
Ms. Jackie was strong
She thought she had life licked
Ms. Jackie was determined to never, ever quit
She seemed to struggled with life and what it reallly meant
Ms. Jackie would often try many of the get rich tricks
Ms. Jackie really believed that she. had found her nitch,
The nitch that was right,
A perfect fit,
to later find out that it wasn't quite legit
Ms. Jackie then lost mind and would often have fits
Relentlessly chanting of how she must not quit
Yet, Ms. Jackie still somehow embraced the counterfeits
Ms. Jackie claimed to be superior with supernatural whit
Adhereing to voices that one should forget
Sadly enough, even thou it is painful to admit,
That all the right people and her most close friends
Simply couldn't do nothing to help bring
Ms. Jackie's fire for life back once again

Jackie's gonna be a football star
Diane's debutante in the backseat of Jackie's car
Suckin' on a chili dog outside the tastee freeze

A bloody colored wedding dress
with a veil of dark and brown
a matching tuxedo lay next to her
but no two wedding bands are found.

The two well known high school lovers
were violently tossed about
one landing in a creek near by
the other fatally smashing to the ground.

The night air brought on a smell of death
as paramedics and police arrived
the next thing they all were witnessed to
It's like the two young kids had survived.

They all wrote in their soul report
of the accident they were all called to
that as watching while the car in flames
the two lovers walked harmlessly right through.

Mister Wackadoodle

Mister Jackie Wackadoodle lived on the Planet Mad
And was so much off his noodle, it really was quite sad...
The poor guy never shopped around to get the lowest price,
No wonder that he always frowned, as if still paying twice...

He never used the Internet for sweet deals of the day,
No wonder that he got upset when savings slipped away...
He didn't brave the Winter gales to save some precious gold!
He missed out on the New Year sales because he felt so cold!

He felt the pinch and got a loan to pay some rising bills,
Yet even then he had no phone to help with saving skills...
He didn't listen to his friends with discount voucher codes
And so much sorrow never ends without these antidotes...

When he complained to companies, he didn't know his rights,
So life for him was no calm breeze, he couldn't sleep at nights!

its stupid for me

Triple Homicide

I'm glad the fighting's stopped
the house is silent
empty
this is how I like it

no yelling
no fights
no broken glass
silence

when they're both gone I'm happy
but when they come home
I go straight to my room
I try to be quiet
as I listen to music in the closet

the fight begins
there screaming
this time I hear my name
I ignore it
not wanting to join the fight

my dad bursts in yelling for me
my window left open he screams
he thinks I'm gone
I thought quickly
as my mom ran in

silence
silence
silence

my dad yells again
at my crying mom
I cry silently
as she's pulled from the room
screaming

I hear a gunshot and I jump
grabbing a pocket knife
from my jacket

the cries stop
then another shot
a loud thump
as a body falls

I climb out of the closet
knife in hand
blood pouring out my
parents bedroom door

silence

I open the door and see two
bodies on the floor
a gun in my father's hand

silence
silence
silence

then sirens
and cops coming around the corner
so I take the gun from my dad
hold it to my head
a loud pop
then
silence
silence
silence
t he cops would
call this a triple homicide
or double homicide and suicide
but I call this
a family
who needed help
