Inanimate Objects

Inanimate objects are more introverts
Than plants, insects and animals!
They also have soul and intelligence!

It sounds weird but it’s true
They also say things they want to say
In their own minds in human languages
But making more feeble sounds!
From a close distance
They also hear what others say in their minds!
From a close distance
They also hear what humans say with their mouth!

They also praise God and prostrate in imagination!

Plants, Insects And Animals

Plants, insects and animals
Are many times more intelligent
Than most of the people think!

Most of the times
Plants, insects and animals
Say things they want to say to others
In their own minds in human languages!

From a close distance they can hear
What others say in their minds!
From a close distance they can hear
What humans say with their mouth as well!

They learn the human languages
From human race and other plants, insects and animals!
God communicates with them -
They remember God and prostrate in imagination!

On the Same Wavelength

Our minds are on the same wavelength.
Does that frighten you to know,
From where we pull our strength?
Every time I hear you speak...
It's as if I am familiar,
With the message sent!
As if 'something' in our minds...
Wishes to confirm and convey,
What the other from a distance...
Presents in a similar and unique way.
To have us both aware,
Just how close we really are!
Yes...
Our minds are on the same wavelength.
Although miles between us seem quite far!

Love You Out Loud

I sit in my living room thinking of you
And the feelings I fear are coming true
And everything about you is wrong I know it
But I still taste you on my tongue
And I still breathe you in my lungs
And I wish I could stop breaking down
Wish I could love you out loud
Wish I could love you out loud
But I'll just keep it to myself
Wish I could hear how it sounds
To be with you and no one else
Don't make a sound
Don't tell a soul
It's 7:00am and I just want to call you
And tell you I'm falling in love
But, there's someone else inside these four walls
If she smells you on my skin
I can't let her know where I've been
I wish I could be with you now
Wish I could love you out loud
Wish I could love you out loud
But I'll just keep it to myself
Wish I could hear how it sounds
To be with you and no one else
Wish I could love you out loud
Because I'm under your spell
Wish I could tell the whole world
But I'll just keep it to myself
Don't make a sound
Don't tell a soul
Don't tell them anything
And I won't let you go
Don't say a word
Don't tell a soul
And I shiver at the thought of you
I can't believe that you love me too
And we quiver when we touch
I can't believe I love you so much
And I hate it when you walk away
I know we can't go on this way
But there's magic when we touch
I can't believe I love you so much
Wish I could love you out loud
Wish I could hear how it sounds
Wish I could love you out loud
Wish I could hear how it sounds
Wish I could love you out loud
But I'll just keep it to myself
Wish I could hear how it sounds
To be with you and no one else
Wish I could love you out loud
Because I'm under your spell
Wish I could tell the whole world
But I'll just keep it to myself
Don't make a sound
Don't tell a soul
Don't tell them anything
And I won't let you go
Wish I could love you out loud
But I'll just keep it to myself
Wish I could hear how it sounds
To be with you and no one else
Wish I could love you out loud
Because I'm under your spell
Wish I could tell the whole world

To show love, he keeps a distance

after all the devotion
you seem so far
so far that it makes me
wonder whether
you are really there

now i know
the distance you throw
is for me fill up
to reflect on myself
each thought and act

that this distance
is woven for us
to be close

that you do not want
me to lose sight of myself

the distance keeps us
so close - closer than
there is no distance

a path where
i could run to you
without the echo of guilt
about my love - for you

“Sweet Sounds of Joy”

Sounds of joy, sounds of joy
Oh how I love to hear sweet sounds
Of joy

Sounds of joy, sounds of joy
Oh how I love to hear momma sing
In her morning voice

Sounds of joy, sounds of joy
Oh how I love to be in the presence
Of these sounds of joy

Sounds of joy, sounds of joy
Oh how I love sweet sounds of joy

The Sounds

I can hear her heart beat
It seams a little strong
I can hear the things I did wrong
I can hear her thoughts
By looking in her eyes
I can hear her all the times she cried
I can hear the memories
As they echo off the wall
Falling from the pictures down the hall
I can hear regret
Building up in side of me
And I can hear all the things
I could not see
Those are the sounds of a woman leaving
Stronger then the wind in a willow tree
Those are the sounds of a heart breaking
You can't hear it
But the noise is killing me
I should of heard it coming
But I chose to pretend
I should of recognizes that sound
Way back then
But I just wouldn't listen didn't want to all those years
Now the truth is ringing clear
In my ears
Those are the sounds of a woman leaving
Stronger then the wind in willow tree
Those are the sounds of a heart breaking
You can't hear it
But the noise is killing me
Those are the sounds of a heart breaking
You can't hear it
But the noise is killing me
I can hear it
And the silent is killing me

Can you hear my soul sing?

The sounds of my soul are a symphony,
always a lilting melody.
There's never a minor chord to interfere
with all the sweet tones that I hear.

The quiet reflections are the rests
that pause in its ongoing quest
to proceed with violin strings so sweet
to heal the pierces that I meet.

The harps and orchestral sounds
allow my soul its leaps and bounds.
And the basso profundo is your touch
which reaches my soul in a tender clutch.

The treble sounds reach out to you
as only I can give to you.
For my soul has always sung a song
and consoled my body as I moved along.

I can hear it wherever I go.
Can you hear my soul sing?
I will wish it so.
Listen my love so you can hear
the song that I am for you, my dear

There Is Something Great (Persian / Rubiyat Quatrains)

There is something great when in the dark
in the distance we hear the dogs bark,
while your hand creeps warm over my chest
and your voice sounds sweet as that of the lark

and comfortable we lie together and cuddling
while the dove to its mate does continually sing
and even when it's raining and thunder blasts down
being close to each other is a really great thing.

The Distance....

when two kinds of delicate matters
come too close
everything becomes molecular
and there will be a hard time
figuring out
what is beautiful or real
or true

there is a need for the proper distance
an arrangement where focus is at its best

in the same manner is love and friendship
maintain that distance
not too close and not too far
balance
so that nothing falls and nothing floats

Why Did You Burn That Boat?

try living in an island
just you and the coconut trees
hear the sounds of birds
migrating
sounds of flocks
fading in a distance
what is left is the
song of this river
the changing hues of the skies
the coldness at night
stories that you repeatedly
tell upon yourself

there is a boat that is ready for your exit
towards the city

what did you burn it?

Across the miles
It's funny to me
How far you are but now
Near you seem to be
I could talk all night
Just to hear you breathe
I could spend my life
Just living this dream
You're all I'll ever need

You give me strength
You give me hope
You give me someone to love someone to hold
When I'm in your arms
I need you to know
I've never been
I've never been this close

With all the lovers
I used to know
I kept my distance I never let go
But I your arms I know I'm safe
'Cause I've never been held
And I've never been kissed in this way
You're all I'll ever need
You're all I'll ever need

Close enough to see it's true
Close enough to trust in you
Closer now than any words can say

And when

Everywhere I Go

Today is quiet except for the sounds of my footsteps,
Cardinals singing and wild geese calling from the sky above-
Trees are my foremost companions and
Roses and azaleas blossoming would
Open their petals within a gust of wind-
It seems as if for the moment they are
Looking into my eyes and was almost as if they are laughing, and
Their laughter is ringing in the humid late spring air-echoing throughout
The fortress of my mind… Everywhere that I go
Nature seems to be calling and
The trees, flowers, rabbits, deer and squirrels
Are my sole companions and I am feeling free as
I can imagine, as I am the last person alive upon the face of the earth-
Animals and plants in the wild are my friends and
People have been none but intruders,
Following every step that I take but today
I can call myself the queen of the woods and
I call myself the one who rules and controls-
I am the one who can dream and inside the
World of my dreams I can fly and inside the
World of my fantasies I can run with the deer-
Often I have wondered if I were not truly human as
Humans have always been a threat to my existence,
Lacking empathy, true love and congeniality?
I have heard and read about dreams coming true and
Fantasies becoming reality- in books I read as a child and
Fairy tales my mother read me many years ago?
Today is quiet except for the sounds of my footsteps and
I believe I hear the wild geese calling as they fly across the sky above-
As the late spring's breeze blows I lift my own imaginary wings and fly-
I know it is all within a reverie from which I hope I shall never awaken- and if I do,
I shall only run forward, not backward, never looking behind at
The past where people have hurt, slighted and scorned me?
I see treetops scraping the sky and as I watch the sun set I totally lose myself in a trance-
Past this horizon is the place I long to live where animals and plants
Find their homes, free from hatred, pain and cruelty and
I remember reading in a storybook as a very young child, "close your eyes and after you
Fall asleep, one day you shall awaken and all of your dreams shall come true-"and
I believe I have been set free, as I walk towards the horizon in every step that I take-

Distance

One close to him
Was far from him
One far away
Was close to him
Both were at a
Distance
One from heart
Other by distance
Destiny
Did not allow
Wish to fulfill
He kept on living
In misery
Silently bearing
The agony

Add Some Music

The sunday mornin' gospel goes good with the soul
There's blues, folk, and country, and rock like a rollin' stone
The world could come together as one
If everybody under the sun
Add some music to your day
(Add some music add some add some music to your day)
A bob didit a bop didit
You'll hear it while you're walkin' by a neighbor's home
You'll hear it faintly in the distance when you're on the phone
You're sittin' in a dentist's chair
And they've got music for you there
To add some music
(Add some music add some add some music to your)
To your day
A bob didit a bop didit
Add some music music everywhere (add some music)
Add some add some add some add some music (add some music)
Your doctor knows it keeps you calm
Your preacher adds it to his psalms
So add some music
(Add some music add some add some music to your)
To your day
Music
(Add some music add some music)
When you're alone
(Add some music add some music)
Is like a companion
(Add some music add some music)
For your lonely soul
Oo oo oo woo oo woo oo oo oo oooo
When day is over (when day is over)
I close my tired eyes (I close my tired)
Music is in my soul
At a movie you can feel it touching your heart
And on every day of the summertime
You'll hear children chasing ice cream carts
They'll play it on your wedding day
There must be 'bout a million ways
To add some music
(Add some music add some add some music to your)
To your day
Add some music to your day
Add some music to your day
Add some music to your day
Add some music to your day
Add some music to your day

Good-bye

Sounds of the seas grow fainter,
Sounds of the sands have sped;
The sweep of gales,
The far white sails,
Are silent, spent and dead.

Sounds of the days of summer
Murmur and die away,
And distance hides
The long, low tides,
As night shuts out the day.

Broken Sleep

Broken sleep comes to me
sometimes when I think of thee.
The shadows of the night falls
eerily on my bedroom walls
as I hear your nightly sounds.

I listen an am content to hear
these sounds I've heard for so many a night.
My broken sleep is quite alright.
You do not know I lay awake
alert to all the sounds you make.

My one pointless wish is that I could be
where your dreams have gone.
And who knows? Maybe I'm there
for you may have taken me along.
But will you remember where?

I'll ask you in the morning dear
and see if you can let it appear?
And if you can't I will not weep
as long as I have my broken sleep
to hear your nightly sounds.

Further In The Distance

Your attempt to excuse your actions,
With vacant explanations...
Has aided in the speeding,
Of my forward steps.

And yes...
I can hear your voice.
But further in the distance,
Your voice gets.

I no longer prepare myself,
To have the patience you expect.
Since much of that has already been given.
And I have none left that affords your disrespect.

Further in the distance,
Your voice gets.

Further in the distance,
Your voice gets.

Further,
In the distance...
Your voice,
Gets.

Your voice...
Gets,
Further...
In the distance!

Hidden Thoughts

There is so much I want to say to you
But, you keep me at a distance.

My heart directs my fingers to dial your number, while I fight to resist the urge to press those seven digits that will bring delight to my ears upon hearing your voice.
And you keep me at a distance.

My brain maintains a logical stance while my mouth and thoughts rebel yearning for what I felt when last we spoke,
Yet you keep me at a distance.

My fear of you is healthy redirected emotions yet unspoken
You still keep me at a distance.

If dying of thirst a drink of your smile gazing down on me would help me to peacefully transition into eternal slumber,
Yet you keep me at a distance.

The infinite expanse of the universe is not enough to move me away from you
Still kept at a distance.

Even though not ready,
I am hungry for the taste of your enticing spirit that calls out to me like manna from heaven above,
But still kept at a distance.

My thirst unquenched. Hunger unsatisfied. Thoughts never having evolved into spoken words to caress your ears and ease my yearning spirit sail aimlessly into the depths of oblivion.
But still I am kept at a distance.

Maybe one day, as certain as we are that the sun will rise to open each new dawn, and set to close all that transpired within that day, just maybe,
There will be no more distance.

Close Your Eyes

Oh come and take me away
I want to be with you
There's nothing more to say
Could my wish come true
Can you hear me now
I'm screaming it aloud
I wish you'd come somehow

Oh hear me now
I know that you
Have a lot to say
But can you
Pick some other day
To tell me anything but

Right now
Just close your eyes
And don't say a word
Before it's over
Can you
Just close your eyes
For me
Tonight

Just like a bird
You give me wings
Just like a star
You make me sing

It's unbelieveable
What you can do to me
And indescribable
How happy I can be
And I can't go on forever
Without us being together

Right now
Just close your eyes
And don't say a word
Before it's over
Can you
Just close your eyes
For me
Tonight
Right now
Just close your eyes
And don't say a word
Before it's over
Right now
Just hold me tight
And forget everything
Tonight
Right now
Don't think at all
I'll be here when you need me
To catch you when you fall

Right now
Just close your eyes
And don't say a word
Before it's over
Can you
Just close your eyes
For me
Tonight

Right now
Just close your eyes
And don't say a word
Before it's over
Can you
Just close your eyes
For me

Right now
Just close your eyes
And don't say a word

Can you
Just close your eyes
For me
