Practice
i bought a CD with real sounds
of birds, insects, reptiles and animals
keeping close to every pause and unique
intonation they make so that i can practise
turning each of their songs/chats into poetry

I Begged God for My Life
I cursed the birds
Their droppings soiled my clothes
I cursed the animals
Their droppings soiled my feet
While walking on the beach
I cursed the insects
For eating flowers in my garden
I took a gun
Killed the birds and the animals
Sprayed deadly poison
On the the insects
I was feeling happy
As if I had conquered the world
I heard god’s voice
What should I do with you my son?
You soiled my world
By killing my
Birds, insects and animals
For your greed and lust
I begged god for my life
Promised him to
Treat man, animals alike
Preserve his world
With all my might

The Water Ways
The Water Ways
By Lori Triggs
Copyrighted June 14,2007
Earth was here first…
The rivers, lakes, creeks and oceans was born…
So the water was plangent in the crevices on the earth…
Than the plants with trees was rebirth…
Now came the dinosaurs that lasted millions of years…
Than came the volcanoes that wipe them out…
The reptiles came and still here on a slow decline…
So the mammals with the fish been around for centuries,
But for how long can we say…
Animals with birds been around since dooms day….
You notice they slowly diminishing…
Humans was put on earth last…
They consume in excess in
Water, plants, trees,
Reptiles, mammals, fish,
Animals & birds for money, food even to make a profit call greed…
Human have did toxics
The water with the lands around the earth…
So have they did with reptiles, mammals, fish, animals and birds…
You notice they slowly diminishing…
Humans they are in abounded…
They never die out only cause more harm than good…
They where put on earth by mistake…
So they should be the first to go…
Only one dropp of water…
The ground dried up so no water
Is their a plant or tree to spear to see…
Not a reptile to be seen…
The mammals with fish vanished…
So now the animals and birds are gone…
All is now is dying humans…
Died for excess wasting the earth away.

Plants, Insects And Animals
Plants, insects and animals
Are many times more intelligent
Than most of the people think!
Most of the times
Plants, insects and animals
Say things they want to say to others
In their own minds in human languages!
From a close distance they can hear
What others say in their minds!
From a close distance they can hear
What humans say with their mouth as well!
They learn the human languages
From human race and other plants, insects and animals!
God communicates with them -
They remember God and prostrate in imagination!

Inanimate Objects
Inanimate objects are more introverts
Than plants, insects and animals!
They also have soul and intelligence!
It sounds weird but it’s true
They also say things they want to say
In their own minds in human languages
But making more feeble sounds!
From a close distance
They also hear what others say in their minds!
From a close distance
They also hear what humans say with their mouth!
They also praise God and prostrate in imagination!

A closeness to feel
Did you ever try to know me?
have you ever sat under the tree?
Did you ever feel closeness of mother?
Were you close to mother or father?
Where does the love emanate from?
What is the origin and why do we feel so warm?
What is strength and closeness behind it?
We would love more and kindly treat
I never knew what it may prove like?
It never occurred to mind or strike
It was as usual and normal
Everything looked fine and formal
Its worth can be realized in its absence
That is strength and real essence
No one can replace it with anything
It has unique stand to offer something
Love can be known in any form
One must always try to remain inform
You should not try to weigh it in terms of kind
It has not been neglected even by the blind
The insects, creatures and birds also demonstrate
They remain together, show the closeness and cultivate
The bonding of ever lasting joy and happiness
They come together when crisis come on surface
We tend to forget the strength
It has same power and wave length
How can it be different in birds and animals?
Where as we are sensible and social animals?
Think it over and react strongly
It look bad and almost ugly
We need to understand it really
There has to be endorsement fully
If you really know the compassion?
You may really have kindness and passion
It is conquering of world with kind gesture
There lies beautiful world for our future

As Baile
Intonation
The title "As Baile" can be translated as "away from home".
The song itself is all intonation, although you might say the intonation is "based" in Irish Gaelic. Enya sings "or, horo, mo-ray he u way, he u way" and so on. The word "or" is an interjection that could be translated as "oh!" or "oho!", but the rest of the song is intonation.

Mother Earth Rejoices
I send the oil back into Mother Earth,
she had it when she first gave birth.
She smiled and glowed at the thought of being restored…
She was so happy she was adored…
By all of Earth’s children, plants, animals fish, and birds too,
mamals, insects and reptiles of green blue.
Now she felt robust,
Herself again through and through.
She was once again totally renewed.

Egoism of Poets
We don’t write poetry,
Poetry writes us.
How can we make poetry,
If we are part of poetry.
The world around us is poetry.
Poetry is already defined.
Calling ourselves poets.
Selfishness in every line.
Egoism in every word.
Stealing poetry from the world.
That already exists in every form.
It’s written in every mist,
Every tree, every bliss.
Who are we to write?
Calling ourselves masterminds.
Trapping ourselves in believe
That we are creating something unique
The world at our feet.
Just too full fill our need.
Even this poem is an act
of a selfish deed.
Every letter in ink.
Created through love and sin.
Writing on a paper
But it’s the world’s skin.
Pressing on the surface.
To see blue blood is our purpose.
Thinking poetry is ours.
Poetry devoured
By poets every hour.
Poems all around us.
Turning grey to dust.
Turning brown to rust.
We have captured the most
But there is still so much.
Bleeding away in disaster, poverty
And war.
Ink to us all.
A poet’s only lord.
His only norm, his only home.
His precious and beloved poem.
We should be ashamed.

A Definition of Poetry by a 15 yr old
Poetry does not need a meaning or defintion.
Poetry is how the reader reads it,
Poetry is how the poet writes it.
Poetry is real,
Poetry is fake,
Poetry is everything,
Poetry is fate.
Poetry is rythm.
Poetry can ryme.
Poetry is anything, I make it mine.

In a broader sense, the rhythms of nature, large and small - the sounds of wind and water, the sounds of birds and insects - must inevitably find their analogues in music.

Poetry is here
Please come
And come and see
Poetry is here
And without you
It will go nowhere.
Please come
And come and hear
Poetry sounds like cloud
Poetry sounds like
Dashing of air in stone
Poetry sounds question
Whose answer is everywhere.
Please come
And come and feel
Feeling is poetry
It is like the time
And time is no more
With anybody you know.

Set them free..They will multiply..
Watching the birds is real fun,
no need dime, only the time,
colorful birds to colored birds,
chirping birds to singing birds,
flying birds to walking birds,
cunning birds to love birds,
Watching birds is just a lesson,
making mind to have a vision.
collect the twigs to make the nest,
one by one, they think the best,
choose the right tree,
just high and free,
Making the nest perfect,
without any single defect,
The birds toil together or alone,
all day long until it is done.
I bought two love birds,
that were kept in a cage.
Hung the cage under the balcony,
above the reach of dogs not felony.
chirping disturbed their sleep,
Nikko, the dog set them free.
Only two flew away,
but I have a few dozens now,
making their nests,
right in front of me, on the trees.
Watching the birds is real fun,
no need dime, only the time.

Birds Turning South
stacking wood,
chill morning air...
birds turning south.
axe and boots,
old truck loaded down....
birds turning south.
dreams and passions,
tied down and loaded,
birds turning south.
memory stained moments,
when the earth stoppt turning...
birds turning south.
now nothing more than
empty nests, a stray feather...
birds rurning south!

Reptiles And Samurai
Reptiles and Samurais
Inhabit my head
Invading my dreams
Sleeping in my bed
They hear what I hear
Watching thru my eyes
They don't like what they see
Reptiles and Samurais
Are under my skin
They hide in my mind
They speak with my tongue
They run amuck in my terrain
They are not friends
But they are forces reluctantly
To share my brain
1ST BRIDGE
Reptiles have silly grins
Dark eyes--shiny teeth--some have fins
Samurais they smile never
Serious--pretty swords--very clever
CHORUS
Sometimes I watch you from this place way in the sky
Your faces young and shiny transform right before my eyes
To Samurais and lizards
reptiles and Samurais
Samurais and lizards
Reptiles and Samurais
Reptiles and Samurais
Inhabit my head
Invading my dreams
Sleeping in my bed
They battle but they never die
2ND BRIDGE
Reptiles have pretty scales
They run real fast--they like to bite--some have tails
Samurais like their water hot--very brave
They eat raw fish--they fight alot
CHORUS

When the Thud of Sounds Cross Through the Night Hours
When the thud of sounds cross through the night hours
keeping you awake when you close your eyes
until the sun touches the horizon,
violating your home, wanting to drive you from your house
and if you want to correct that people,
they may want to cause more amok,
when the thud of sounds cross through the night hours
keeping you awake when you close your eyes,
they may hit you with knuckle-dusters
or they may take revenge later
and in an incident all your ribs may be broken,
or they may shoot you quite by accident,
when the thud of sounds cross through the night hours.

When dusk creeps through the windows
When dusk creeps through the windows
with the big old oak tree etched against the sky,
the eastern horizon gleams outside,
the morning star hangs is a beacon that bridges the night,
while the golden moon fades away
with the big old oak tree etched against the sky
the night is driven away, chased
by the sun rising burning
while the golden moon fades away,
the morning is fresh like an unfolding flower
while the birds, the insects, the animals are woken
by the sun rising burning
with blinding white light, stretching out its rays
and I am getting awake
while the birds, the insects, the animals are woken
and the day has already belted its gleaming chord.
When dusk creeps through the windows
and I am getting awake
the eastern horizon gleams outside.

Insects
Tiny insects in my hair
Tiny insects everywhere
Tiny insects in my pants
Watching insects make romance
Insects make me make me want to dance dance dance
They make want to dance . . .
Flying insects everywhere
Flying insects buzzing buzzing buzzing thru the air
Just like little diamonds in the sky
Insects buzzing in my eye
Buzzing insects make me want to dance dance dance
They make me want to dance . . .
Insects crawling all around
Insects squirming in the ground
Insects gooey squeaky chewy
Should I eat them--no
Id rather stomp them hurt them stomp
Stomp them while I dance dance dance
I hurt them while I dance dance dance
I stomp them while I dance dance dance . . .
Insects make me scream and shout
They dont know what lifes about
They dont have blood
Theyve got too many legs
They dont have brains in their heads
They know theyll rule the world some day
They bite and sting me anyway
They bite and sting and suck
They bite and sting and suck suck suck
They bite and sting and
Suck suck suck suck suck . . .
Dance dance dance

Industrialization
an early morning treat
to the chirping sounds of the birds
the engines arrive in the form of the bus
the tractors and the caterpillars
the birds fly away carrying their songs
the chirping sounds fade
the buzz of the day is in the machine
paving, drilling, cementing, screaming.

The survival instincts
Flowers take colours to invite insects.
Ripe fruits take colours to draw animals.
As buds they are green to hide behind leaves
Lest they be eaten before they mature.
Survival instinct is unique to life.
