Dove
Anything
And
Everything
About her
Fills me with
Overflowing
Love
In moments of
Stress, her
Pacifying
Presence
Pacifies me
Like the
Peaceful
Dove
(dedicated to my daughter Kochi)

Stress and Headache Free
I am stress and headache free.
To peace I'm dedicated.
Stress and headache free.
To peace I'm dedicated.
I am stress and headache free.
To peace I'm dedicated.
No more nodding medicated.
Or allowing to berated.
I am stress and headache free.
To peace I'm dedicated.
Stress and headache free.
To peace I'm dedicated.
I am stress and headache free.
To peace I'm dedicated.
Dues I had I paid it.
I feel today elated.
I am stress and headache free.
To peace I'm dedicated.
Stress and headache free.
To peace I'm dedicated.
I am stress and headache free.
To peace I'm dedicated.
I'm happy that I've made it.
And there's nothing complicated!
Oh, I'm stressing headache free.
To peace I'm dedicated.
Yes I'm stress and headache free.
To peace I'm dedicated.
I am stress and headache free.
To peace I'm dedicated.
I am happy that I've made it.
There is nothing complicated!
No more nodding medicated.
Or allowing to berated.
Dues I had I paid it.
I feel today elated.
I'm now more animated.
I'm now more animated.
I'm now more animated.
And my life can be paraded.
Since inside I'm illuminated!
Since inside I'm illuminated!
Since inside I'm illuminated!
Since inside I'm illuminated!
I am stress and headache free.
To peace I'm dedicated.
Stress and headache free.
To peace I'm dedicated.
I am stress and headache free.

Kochi
There is divinity in her eyes
There is serenity in her face
There is purity in her soul,
She overflows with plentiful
Charm and grace.
There is simplicity in her being
She is nature's gift to me :)
With her bountiful natural beauty.
She has a naivety about her
And she's also very cheeky!
I keep falling head over heels
In love with her...
The more she amuses me
With her childish chivalry!
Yes, she's my little girl of three
She's none other than my
Dearest, darling Kochi :)
(Touch Wood. Nazar Na Lage)
I wrote this dedication in 2007 when my beloved daughter was just 3. Her name is Rupashri Chatterjee. I lovingly call her Kochi (which in Bangla means: the tender one) .

High and Buzzed
I met a new love.
Yes I met a new love.
And the clouds cleared up.
And my heart got a rush,
With an overflowing gush...
That fills my cup!
Aaaahhh met a new love.
Oh, I met a new love.
And with a slow stride I strut,
Got my chest puffed up.
Like I can't get enough,
Feeling high...
And buzzed from love.
Yes I met a new love.
Aaaahhh met a new love.
And the clouds cleared up.
And my heart got a rush,
With an overflowing gush...
That fills my cup!
Feeling high...
And buzzed!

As You Shine
As you are a rain dropp upon a dry leaf
As you are a snowflake upon a window seel
Every day not one day not two days
Your smile and beauty forces me to kneel
As You Shine
As you speak with a mellow voice
As you laugh with a jovial heart
This guy can only dream endlessly
Of how blessed he engulfs this Mozart
As You Shine
As you are a diamond outside of the rock
As you are a gem inside the vase
Time only enhances your charm
Your wisdom Your patience with a mesmerizing base
As You Shine
As you work with boundless energy
As you mentor with overflowing love
You are always visible to see
So visible like a soothing, peaceful dove
As You Shine
As you are a spoiler to the unspoiled
As you are a protector to the unprotected
Your melting hug and comforting presence
Conveys all the admiration to be detected
As You Shine
As you open your hands to hold
And you open your eyes to go
Just remember…”Ever and “Ever
I LOVE YOU SO, SO, SO, JUST
As You Shine

Father Daughter Moments
My daughter said something the other day
We were sitting on the front steps, talking
Someone wanted to enter the building, she stood up and said 'we're just having a father daughter moment'
My daughter is still young, only 27
And hearing her say that, my heart swelled with pride
She still wants to have moments with her father
My adult daughter still needed me
So much is said about the mother-daughter bond
But there's an even stronger bond between a father and a daughter
No matter how old she is, she's still daddy's little girl
And he always wants to be there for her
Father daughter moments last a lifetime
From playground accidents to a broken heart
You do your best to help her pain go away
Because when she's in pain, you are too

To Kochi
You are the one
For whom I live,
You are the one
For whom I die.
You are the only
Girl in my life,
Who makes me smile,
Who makes me cry...

These Moments of Innocence {La Terza Versione}
This morning I awoke from a dream,
to the quintessence of pure innocence,
thru' my sunsoaked bedroom window.
Watched the sweet, soft landing
of a doves imposition,
upon a newborne branch
of the leanest tree,
lending shade, and confidence
to the infant limb,
by its presence, alone...
and nothing more;
discognizant to the virtue
of its mere presence,
...and nothing more -
just this...... and nothing more.
And it washed my face with smile
to see such divinity before my eye's.
Verdant and promising,
yet bleeding for nurture,
the infant limb embraced
the presence of the dove -
..........................cautiously.
And in time, so adopted
an unconscious bond of trust,
an expectence, if you will,
to all the young branch
grew accustomed to.
All this... and nothing more.
Moments such as these
are as close as perfection comes...
no closer be....just this,
and nothing more.
And ostensibly discognizant,
to the command of its presence
the white bird lays still,
ruminating about nothing
of significance, or consequence,
but mere expectence of the limb
for same reciprocal.
Still its wing's flutter spritely,
spinning fresh breeze upon itself
with an ambience of cherubic peace,
utopic peace.....in solitude.
Just this...and nothing more.
A trinity of doves carry overhead...
a family, a flock of natures' gold -
all this....and nothing more.
And within these fertile moments
innocence conceives;
innocence, incarnate,
life's sweetest gift.
And all too soon, life moves forward
as time knows how to do no different.
And with it, the child limb becomes -
a branch that will shoulder many years
of shelter, beauty....and so much more
providing confidence,
to its own offspring growth
upon the natural seed of nature.
And perhaps for a moment
the rememberance of a dove,
who has since moved forward in time -
to perch on other verdant trees
with newfound landings.
Yet, always discognizant
to its' virtuous presence,
the dove....would never know -
the gift it brought to an infant limb
so many ''moments'' ago.
All this, and so much more;
Innocence....a utopic dimension of being
that has no equal... to so much more.
These moments of absolute Innocence, I saw...
this morning....upon waking from a dream.

Dedicated to..
this one rhyme
is dedicated to this time
to person unknown
to one who has not flown
out of a cage
just like me... me on this page
its to the girl... to the one...
but i lied this battle i have not won...
who
who is this for?
is it to you?
no...no... maybe i should go
not this time... won't stay
unless i stay away...
who is my love devoted to... love...
cage up like a chained dove
who is this to? who is going to let it free who do i love? who?
who are my love songs to.... who is this dedicated to....

Sleep - II
When sleep evades me
I just have to see
The sleeping face
Of my beloved beauty:
My daughter Kochi,
Peace pervades my eyes,
And sleep overcomes me.

Remember that you don't choose love; love chooses you. All you really can do is accept it for all its mystery when it comes into your life. Feel the way it fills you to overflowing then reach out and give it away.

Dearest Kochi
She sleeps beside me
And breathes into my face
I smell her stale breath
Even that invigorates me.
Everything about her
Simply captivates me
Don’t know whether
I love her like crazy
Or if it is just me
Being a ‘crazy-me’.
She is breathing easy,
Sleeping peacefully…
What greater joy
Can a mother enjoy
Than gazing at her
Sleeping Beauty…
Her dainty, darling daughter
Whom she lovingly calls her
“Dearest Kochi”.

Solitude Of Togetherness
I love my solitude
Coz when I am lonely
I am with you
I feel ur presence around me.
The moments of our togetherness
Comes alive again
The moments of joy, laughter, sorrow
The moments we shared 2gether
Moments when we sat side by side
And let the silence speak for us
Its when I am lonely
The time comes to a stop
And I relive our memories
I feel the happiness of ur compainionship
I feel the pain of losing u
I understand what u meant to me
And how much I love you
I love my solitude
I find solace in my lonliness
And I am with you

In Sadness Tears May Guide Us
in sadness tears may befriend us
happy memories may guide us
back into myriads of love moments
moments when we were nurtured in love
moments when we were embraced in love
moments when we were shaped in love
such moments are safe inside us
such moments will navigate guide us
such moments are strength within us

Sometimes Crime Occupies Everybody's Mind
Sometimes crime occupies everybody's mind.
Coming as it does,
To kick a peaceful dove...
Away!
Hey,
Say...
Sometimes crime occupies everybody's mind.
Coming as it does,
To kick a peaceful dove...
Away!
And it doesn't really matter,
Where you are upon that ladder.
Or the chatter made and started...
To believe you can be saved.
Sometimes crime occupies everybody's mind.
Coming as it does,
To kick a peaceful dove...
Away!
And it seems we all are slaves,
Victimized by greed.
Teasing wishes wanted.
With a deceiving of those needs,
Without delay.
Yes it seems we all are slaves.
And vicitimzed with the taste of greed.
Teasing wishes wanted...
To appease those deceiving needs.

Stress removes stress
Stress your eyes to stare;
Stress your ears to listen;
Stress your brain to think;
Stress your belly to secrete.
Then they grow out of stress.

Dove Sta Amore
Dove sta amore
Where lies love
Dove sta amore
Here lies love
The ring dove love
In lyrical delight
Hear love's hillsong
Love's true willsong
Love's low plainsong
Too sweet painsong
In passages of night
Dove sta amore
Here lies love
The ring dove love
Dove sta amore
Here lies love

Made For Each Other!
Till the end, come with me,
I am a fragrant flower for a bee,
Head of intelligence to show you,
Let us have the garden, trouble free, .
Magic moments of eternal love,
Pass through many births of a dove,
Presence of you afar seems to be near,
Not even near, but in my heart safer,
You have made me to blabber a bit,
You have made me to rekindle a bit,
You have made me to dream a lot,
You have made me to worry a lot.
When you feel the same, what I feel now,
When you like the things, that is in my mind,
When you do spontaneously what I want to have,
We are made for each other to care and love.

Making a Memory
Languishing prostrate
Sultry sun melding our senses
We lay, and we talked
My daughter and I
Under a summer's evening sky.
Whispering secrets
Exchanging ludicrous viewpoints
On freedom to love.
My daughter and I
Under a waning twight sky.
Skipping out seawards
Through late lazy wavelets, swimming
midst wet girlish glee.
My daughter and I
Under that memorable sky.
Fingering hot food
Barbeque roasted and spicy
Warming the moments
My daughter and I
Shared under that magical
moonlit
mid-summer
marvellous
sky.
You And I Could Fly High Into The Blue Sky
If you were my morning dove
What is love dove
Could we fly through the air dove
Would it be enough
If you and I could fly
Could you and I try
Not to shed tears and cry
I will not lie
To thee my dove
You and I could fly high into the blue sky
