Tumahara Jana
Tumahara jana
Aachanak pushpo ki kaliyo se
Unke mahak ka ud jana.
Kal tak jo khila khila tha
Pal main
murjha kar mar jana.
Tumahara jana
Chand lamho main indradhanush ke
Rango ka ris kar bah jana.
Barso tak jo aabad sahar tha
Uuska chand minto mein
viran uujad ho jana
Tumahara jana
Aachanak chanchal hava ke
Rukh ka tufan mein badal jana.
Kal tak jo balwan khada tha
Uuska tut kar bikhar jana.
Tumhara jana
Saapno ki uudano se sakth dharatal par
Ghayal gir jana
Kisi sawachand muskan ka
Siskiyo mein bifar jana
Tumhara jaana.

Ghazal! ! ! (Urdu)
Arsa e zeest ko sadiyon ka safar jana hay
Phir bhi ik roz tou hr shakhs ko mr jana hay
Meray Mabood tamannaon ka ambaar lye
Dar Tera chhor kar ab aur kidhar jana hay
Jald ponhchay khabar e khair musafir ki k phir
Sham ki qabr mein suraj ko utar jana hay
Kitnay dilkash se hua krtay hen aksar lekin
Ankh khultay hi tou khwabon ko bikhar jana hay
Saans chalti hey jisay dekh k hur dum apni
Uss ko duniya ki tamaazat mein shajar jana hay
Yeh jo manzil tumhe lagti he yeh manzil to nhi
Akhir iss se bhi kisi pal mein guzar jana hay
Dil agar mujh se lagao gay to pachhtao gay
Mein musafir hun mujhe laut k ghar jana hay
Ghair mumkin nhi dunya men koi kam Batool
Jo kisi se nhi hota hay wo kr jana hay...

Kuch Naya Sa
Pee ke ladkhadana
aur ladkhada ke sambhal jana to saaki
Purani aadat thi,
Youn bin piye ladkhadana
aur ladkhadayee he jaana
yeh,
nayee bala hai.
Chot khakar dard me tadpna
aur tadap kar roo jana
to theek tha,
youn bina chot dard me chatpatana
aur chatpatahat mei chein pana,
yeh,
naya marz hai.
Jang me jeetna aur
uska jashn manana
Riwaz hai purana,
Youn bin lade sabkuch haar jaana
Phir haar ka jashn manana,
yeh,
Naya dastoor hai.
Kuch paana, aur paakar khona
Toh samajh aata hai,
Youn bin kuch paaye hi sab kuch khoo dena
yeh,
Naya sa ahsas hai.
Pee ke ladkhadana
aur ladkhada ke sambhal jana to saaki
Purani aadat thi,
Youn bin piye ladkhadana
aur ladkhadayee he jaana
yeh,
nayee bala hai.

Angutivaun Taina
Our gloves are stiff with the frozen blood,
Our furs with the drifted snow,
As we come in with the seal--the seal!
In from the edge of the floe.
Au jana! Aua! Oha! Haq!
And the yelping dog-teams go;
And the long whips crack, and the men come back,
Back from the edge of the floe!
We tracked our seal to his secret place,
We heard him scratch below,
We made our mark, and we watched beside,
Out on the edge of the floe.
We raised our lance when he rose to breathe,
We drove it downward--so!
And we played him thus, and we killed him thus,
Out on the edge of the floe.
Our gloves are glued with the frozen blood,
Our eyes with the drifting snow;
But we come back to our wives again,
Back from the edge of the floe!
Au jana! Aua! Oha! Haq!
And the loaded dog-teams go;
And the wives ran hear their men come back,
Back from the edge of the floe!

I started when I was 8 years old, which is obviously nowadays pretty late, but I guess in my generation it was all right. I had plenty of other interests and I didn't do only tennis.

I think no matter what you do you go through stages when you play. There was a number of times when I didn't do very well or was tired. It was too much to combine school and tennis altogether. Parents need to step in and say, take a little time off, do something fun.

I would like to see it go back to the wood racquets. To see the touch put back in tennis.

I think it was the right time for me to retire because nowadays tennis is too incredibly fast and you can say that my style tennis went out of fashion.

If we can make some kind of adjustments, maybe in the game, to make it interesting and slow down the surfaces, then it will be more fun and more interesting.

I just wanted to play tennis. I started because I wanted to pick up another sport and then as I was slowly getting better I wanted to see how far I can go but I always wanted to be myself. I wanted to be original. I didn't want to copy anybody's style.

Time out (simile, metaphor, alleteration poem)
Help how much my heart hurts
my mouth is as dry as a desert
my throught is sore
my voice is a goner
my heart is beating as fast as a tiger
my hand is a rattling snake
my face is a tomato
bye bye, boring life
i cannot take it no more
i lay my head
upon my knee
now blow the whistle refree

Lebanon (my country)
Lebanon is the country of truth and honesty
that i will cherish for eternity
its the land of great fantasy
its a land
that our faith commands
we support each other forever
we live together
we fight with our hearts
i love Lebanon from the bottom of my heart

Strange (narrative poem)
i bumped into a guy
he said watch out
i said hi
he pushed me out
out into the street i go
honk honk the cars go
bump the big truck hits me
and all the cars drive over me
the powpow pulled his gun out
and shot the man on his mouth
and there i landed lost my life
lonely in a silent night

Mee! Mee! My Cute Cat
I HAVE A PET CAT,
SHE NEVER CHASES A RAT.
SHE IS WHITE IN COLOR,
IT SIGNS LOVE FOR EVER.
MEOW, MEOW SAYS MY CAT,
SHE SWAYS HER TAIL AND GIVES A PAT.
SHE IS SOFT TO TOUCH,
I LIKE HER VERY MUCH.
SHE PLAYS WITH ME,
SHE SAYS MEE, MEE, MEE.
MEOW, MEOW SAYS MY CAT,
SHE SWAYS HER TAIL AND GIVES A PAT.

School V/s College
Na hoti ye B. Tech, na hoti ye MD ki sheetey
Yaad aate hain yaaro, lamhe wo beetein
School ki wo masti yaad aati hai har pal
Yaad aata hain mujhko beet gaya jo kal
School mein jaate the padne hum saare
College mein jaate hain attendance ke maare
Teacher ko maante the tab hum guru
School mein jaate hi padhai shuru
Yahaan to chalti hai humari sarkar
Dooston ke sang maani kabhi na haar
School mein padte waqt hota tha competition
Yahaan aakar puchhte hain kab aayega math ka solution
School mein pocket mein hota tha pencil n rubber
Yahaan to class notes ki bhi nahi hai khabar
School mein jaate the hum sab padne, ghar pe sab kuch batana hain
College mein jana to girl friend dekhne ka ek bahana hain
School mein jaate waqt, har roj hote the paise
Yahaan purse to hain, lekin nahi hain paise
School mein hamesha jaane se pahle bag check kia
Yahaan to jo marji mila, wahe kagaj utha lia
Pen jeb mein hua nhi, ungli se kaam chalaya hai
Jisne ki hain college mein masti sukh to usne hi paaya hai
School mein hoti thi full attendance, yahhan to 60 ke liye bhi rote hain
Par sach bataun yaaro college mein hi sapne poore hote hain

Mann Toh Mann Hai
Mann to mann hai
Ek sawachand panchi
Kaun use kisi bandhan
me bandh paya hai.
Lakh talo me rah kar bhi
uuse kon bandi bana paya hai.
Dekho to uuadan uski
Chand lamho mei
Vo to kitne brahmand
Bhraman kar aaya hai.
Mann to mann hai
Ek sawachand panchi
Kaun use kisi bandhan
me bandh paya hai.
Tan ko to bandh liya
kadiyo se.
Kabhi diwaroo mein
Kabhi dooriyo mein
Mann ke aashwo ki
Doowd kaun, kaha,
rok paya hai
Mann to mann hai
Ek sawachand panchi
Kaun use kisi bandhan
me bandh paya hai.
mann doodaye
mann hasaye
mann roolaye
mann ki mahima
kya kabhi kooie jaan paya hai.
Mann to mann hai
Ek sawachand panchi
Kaun use kisi bandhan
me bandh paya hai
mann chanchal hai,
jharno sa
baadlo mein chamakti bijjliyo sa.
mann paavan hai
pooja mein chadhe puspo sa.
mann pischash hai
khoon mooh lage narbhakshi sa.
par phir,
Mann to mann hai,
Ek sawachand panchi
Kaun use kisi bandhan
me bandh paya hai
Dekho to uuadan uski
Chand lamho mei
Vo to kitne brahmand
Bhraman kar aaya hai.

Forget (narrative poem)
My mom went to the beach
but she forgot her things
to the back of the car she reached
but still she forgot everything
she asked like a million times where are my things
and then she remembered she forgot them at home
then she called twice and told me: are my things at home
i said yes
and she went mad
she went and swam and when she came back
i saw her wet
i asked her: what did you do
she said its okay i swam in my clothes
and then i laughed until i died
but all she did was shout and fight
and then i got in trouble
for all the mess i had done
goodbye sunshine because i am grounded
for like a week
see you my friends
but maybe till the end
