Echo

The echo is silence:

in the landscape with tree
in the center of the hill
in the empty plate
in the full pocket

full of emptiness.

Like that

Was it being empty of everything
or being full of everything,
when the song came during washing-up?

Was it being empty of everything
or being full of everything,
when the tourist outside the school door
glanced as if expecting nothing but the good?

Was it being empty of everything
or being full of everything,
when there was nowhere else but here?

Was it being empty of everything
or being full of everything
when there was no when or where
or why or what or how or who?

Who is to say? It was like that. Like that.

Full Of Emptiness

Full of emptiness
Broken promises
And love turned out so sad
The hurt goes on and on
Full of emptiness
Hello loneliness
Good friends will mind
The sands of time
Have slipped through my hands
From the bottom to the top
Why he had me feeling fine
Then I took a long long drop
When he walked out of my life
My world
Full of emptiness
That and something less
And memories of him
Have never seemed to be

Emptiness Is Both An Illusion And An Irony

emptiness is always an illusion
which carries with it an irony.

when i look at it, as its content shows,
it has nothing

bare hands, opening fingers,
an empty transparent ball, it can

tell your future, it can dig your
past,

thinking that it is spacious, i went
inside it, pierce myself though it

only to find that that are so many
crowding elements in there and they

are choking me and you who is looking
outside it, thinks that nothing is happening

but then the struggle is horrible, quick
and even deadly, so many hang themselves in

empty air, and lose their lives, because
you cannot see the body of breathing,

when you learn to live with it however,
you become full, emptiness is its irony,

its antithesis, for how can you ever be full
if you have never known how to empty yourself?

the face of emptiness is a mist, and you touch
it, you will hold a forest, so many black birds,

myriad exotic orchids, so many blending sounds of
trees screaming, of creeks flowing of waterfalls

cascading that you can relate to the locks of
your hair and the hairs of your armpits,

inside it is too personal to be told, outside it
are so many denials with the faces of the people

that you have loved before, and then you decide
to stay at a distance, you are like a tree

dark as a shadow, counting the hours
when the sun finally fades away.

How Does One Hear The Echoes Of Silence?

silence. Does not speak, silence is dead.
it is buried underneath the mouth,
and simply rots there, like dust,
with worms. It will be the worms
that shall utter silence, but at the end
silence is devoured
and gone.

what you hear and see is this
emptiness. it has feet and walks in air.
and tinkers in space, some moods and
feelings, fleeing, fleeting,

this emptiness speaks a lot
some words turning themselves
from elves to giants to cyclops
to monsters of the universe
where this emptiness dwells

it is in my heart, always, resounding,
with lots of echoes as it reaches
the walls of the farthest planet
and comes back to me
like the twinkling of a star.

and then i am full.

Can't Get You Off My Mind

Life is just a lonely highway
I'm out here on the open road
I'm old enough to see behind me
But young enough to feel my soul
I don't wanna lose you baby
And I don't wanna be alone
Don't wanna live my days without you
But for now I've got to be without you

I've got a pocket full of money
And pocket full of keys that have no bounds
But then I think of lovin'
And I just can't get you off of my mind

Babe can't you see
That this is killing me
I don't want to push you baby
And I don't want you to be told
It's just that I can't breathe without you
Feel like I'm gonna lose control

I've got a pocket full of money oh yes I do
And a pocket full of keys that have no bounds
But when it comes to lovin'
I just can't get you off of my mind

Pocket Full Of Gold

He slipped the ring off his finger
When he walked in the room
And he found him some stranger
And promised her the moon
How many lies you must have told
You think youre a rich man
With your pocket full of gold
For another mans treasure
Youd say anything
But is one night of pleasure
Worth the trouble youll bring
Dont look so surprised
cause son I should know
I once was a rich man
With my pocket full of gold
Some night youre gonna wind up
On the wrong end of a gun
Some jealous guys gonna show up
And youll pay for what youve done
What will it say on your tombstone
Here lies a rich man
With his pocket full of gold
Yeah, here lies a rich man
With his pocket full of gold

Empty Handed

You chose to draw the line
And look where we landed
We had a pocket of full of sunshine
Yet, we came back
Empty handed

You and I,
We had our share,
The good times we had
Now it's time,
To let go,
Time to say goodbye
And the end always
Makes me sad

Why did you have to go?
That is something
I'm sure I can't ever know
Love got overshadowed,
As we fed our ego

You chose to draw the line
And look where we landed
We had a pocket full of sunshine
Yet, we came back
Empty handed

The Echo, The Mocking Bird

to produce the echo
i need one single voice
to make the sound
i need the hill and another hill
sort of wall
where the voice is trapped
and bounce
from one corner to another
and there you have
the echo

you are the sound
i am the hill
and another hill
i am many
much many than you
expect

do you see that tree
higher than your roof?
i am that hill beyond
the grassy field
do you see the mockingbird
sitting on the twig?

please do not mention
any name
do not drag
another one

but if no one admits
well,
it could be me
i supposed so, it can be me too.

Emptiness Comes

EMPTINESS COMES

Emptiness comes-
There is nothing to say
Nothing to write-

But Nothing is for me only nothing
It is not the goal and the meaning-

Egolessness belongs to saints of a certain kind
I am not a saint-

Emptiness disappears with the writing
Words and meanings come-

I suppose one will be empty forever
When one is alive
What can Emptiness give?

I have written against the Emptiness
And am less empty now for now-

Thank God I no longer feel empty now-

Our Tree

When spring comes round, our apple tree
Is very full of flowers,
And when a bird sits on a branch
The petals fall in showers.

When summer comes, our apple tree
Is very full of green,
And everywhere you look in it
There is a leafy screen.

When autumn comes, our apple tree
Is full of things to eat.
The apples hang from every branch
To tumble at our feet.

When winter comes, our apple tree
Is full of snow and ice
And rabbits come to visit it...
We think our tree is nice.

Yogic...

searching for clarity
the best of which is an empty slate

that which we mistake sometimes
for clarity actually is one that contains nothing

as though
emptiness is one of those that has
nothing inside it

as though when things are in their fullness
like a flower in full bloom
as though
fullness is mess and must be
avoided

as though fullness is pain and emptiness
is unloading and must heretofore
be marked as the
ballroom

happiness so to speak
messy is noise and the empty window is clear

but the pool of water without the disturbance of the wind
is full and yet
mirrors some clarifications

that you can see your face unadulterated by grief
undiluted by any dropp of lamentation

one dives farther to see what is real and perhaps
sleep for a while

drowsiness of reality
illusion is a little bit tipsy because of so much thoughts

unthink, undream,
unmind.

Is That Askin' Too Much

(Donny Lowery/Craig Wiseman)
Some people say theres no American dream
I hear them talkin' but they dont say a thing
I still believe youve got to give it to get
Baptize your every aspiration in sweat
I vow my head each night and roll up my sleeves
Cause buddy its a long hard road to Easy Street
Where all the cars go
Fast, fast, fast
When you step on the gas, gas, gas
Nobody else is gonna pass me up going down the road
I want a great big house on the hill
Every pocket full of hundred dollar bills
Givin me a thrill, thrill, thrill I aint never known
Is that asking too much
Am I over the line
Am I way out of touch
Tell me am I losing my mind
I know I wont never get enough
Is that asking too much
Ive never been accused of dreaming too small
I never saw no shame in wanting it all
I guess thats just the curse of being born poor
No matter what you got you always want more
Everybody wants a lot, a little inside
Im not the only one with hungry eyes
That wants a car that goes
Fast, fast, fast
When you step on the gas, gas, gas
Nobody else is gonna pass me up going down the road
I want a great bid house on the hill
Every pocket full of hundred dollar bills
Man, givin me a thrill, thrill, thrill I aint never known
Is that asking too much
Am I over the line
Am I way out of touch
Tell me am I losing my mind

Is that asking too much

Nobody better ever pass me up going down the road
I gotta build me a house on the hill

Centered

My inner light and my inner darkness.
My positive and my negative.
In the center, my neutral or balance.
My peace, will not allow my scale to tip.
Too positive, taken advantage of.
Too negative, taking advantage of.
Mind full of others, or mindless.
Full of myself and void of others.
Full of others and void of myself.
Minding my business or another's.
Apathy or arrogance.
Not centered.
But self centered, the center of attention, the center of the universe.
If others are my universe, then I don't know who I am.
I am lost.
I find myself.
I create my universe.
If I worry about where I have been, or where I am going,
Then I cannot just be.
A creation with too many directions.
What I became, is first,
What I become, is last,
What I be, is now.
Which is all I truly only have.
Where I have been,
Where I am going.
Is the end of where I was.
The beginning of where I will be.
And the revelation of where I am at.

New Born Baby

If only I could come
and more and more
and night light shed its wings of fire
leaving me in a darken path
and long keep me with empty pocket
and to kiss empty glass
but today is the night
with joy of a new born baby

just not another night
only if I could walk with you
with full of money to drink with you
with night after night to shed

Ripples of song
and a kisses of new born baby
but today is desserted
with empty pocket to enjoy
in search of you

Whenever there is a darkness,
I thank you understand my ways

In Here

in here we come
without promises
of stars

we are free to go
leaving is not difficult
it is all in our minds
this dizziness about
our existence as poets
the last bulwark of
erotic thoughts

this is the place of
certain confidences
we write what we think
not what we are
we empathize we get into
the shoes of another we weep
as though we do not own any
tear we keep the silence sometimes
as though we own space
we move as though we are
the river we fall as though
we are the rain

this is this place
welcome back to this world
of words
bring in the emptiness
think that soon you shall be full
and then empty yourself again
feel the essences
of all these nothingness

i have come with empty hands
and i shall leave
without my face.

Full Of Life Questions

life is full of unexpected,
life is full of challenges,
life is full of bitterness,
life is full of strife,
life is full of contentious disputes,
life is full of revenge,
life is full of hatred,
life is full of mystery,

sometimes.....

life is full of sweetness,
life is full of joy,
life is full of happiness,
life is full of hope,
life is full of dreams,
you can have all this life when the soul is in body, and you will be able to feel everything because this is real life to creatures who call the''human''
Have you thought to life after death? ? ? ?

My Diary (Demo Recording)

I looked in my diary, no spaces today,
A life so eventful, stacked with appointments too important to break,
Lunch at the bistro, tea at the savoy cafe,
No time to contemplate the isolation,
No second can be wasted, no space to think because,
My diary is full but my life is empty.
Oh yes, my diary is full but my life is empty.
Its all so contemporary, the sheer pretension of it,
Its all so temporary, but all so shallow really,
Let me look, I might be able to squeeze you in between,
No, my diary is so full I couldnt possibly meet you today,
This evening is blocked out with potential investors in my lonely one-man play,
Perhaps next week maybe when there are fewer functions to attend,
So for now Ill pencil you in,
Between the visit to my doctor, my appointment at the bank,
This time its really crucial, thats why its written in red,
My diary is my life and my life is standing on my head,
Oh my diary is full but my life is empty,
Oh yes my diary is full but my life...
I look at your picture on my bedroom wall,
Im trying to forget you, thats why my diary is so full,
Chock-a-block with engagements but its only for show,
cause Im all dressed up with nowhere to go,
To stop my isolation, keep myself occupied,
My diary is my one salvation,
Names, dates, numbers, but inside I long to cancel all those entries,
My diary is full but my lifes empty,
My diary is full but my life is empty.
