Most of the media... is positioning the merger with Compaq and the recent actions by Walter Hewlett and David Packard as a fight between the past and the future.

New Generation
WLAN and Tablet-Computer,
GPS and teenagers,
UMITS and Tablet-PC,
Bluetooth and the new generation,
Hewlett-Packard and the muse of the computer,
Google and the whole world in your hands,
Microsoft and Navigation,
Acer and Facebook,
Asus and the E-mails,
Dell and the Media-Player,
Nokia and Web-Browser,
Toshiba and the nature of your surfing,
LG and the web-sites,
Samsung and the muse of this new generation,
HDTV and the exposure of your muse,
Microphones and laud speakers,
Joystick, mouse and the keyboard!
The iphone and the ipad are now to your reach;
And like a vision from the medicine man nearby you,
But we are all glued up to this new generation of technology.

History I know Her
Our bygone is the future
The past follows every step into time
History I know her
She'll haunt us our whole lifetime
Remember long ago
The future seemed so bright
Yesterday has caught up to us
Tomorrow we'll have to fight
The past is getting bigger
Bigger than our future
Before tomorrow’s world is exhausted
We need to take care where we are headed

Do You Remember Walter?
Walter, remember when the world was young
And all the girls knew walters name?
Walter, isnt it a shame the way our little world has changed?
Do you remember, walter, playing cricket in the thunder and the rain?
Do you remember, walter, smoking cigarettes behind your garden gate?
Yes, walter was my mate,
But walter, my old friend, where are you now?
Walters name.
Walter, isnt it a shame the way our little world has changed?
Do you remember, walter, how we said wed fight the world so wed be free.
Wed save up all our money and wed buy a boat and sail away to sea.
But it was not to be.
I knew you then but do I know you now?
Walter, you are just an echo of a world I knew so long ago
If you saw me now you wouldnt even know my name.
I bet youre fat and married and youre always home in bed by half-past eight.
And if I talked about the old times youd get bored and youll have nothing more to say.
Yes people often change, but memories of people can remain.

What yall wanna do?
Wanna be hackers? code crackers? slackers
Wastin time with all the chatroom yakkers?
9 to 5, chillin at hewlett packard?
Workin at a desk with a dumb little placard?
Yeah, payin the bills with my mad programming skills
Defraggin my hard drive for thrills
I got me a hundred gigabytes of ram
I never feed trolls and I dont read spam
Installed a t1 line in my house
Always at my pc, double-clickin on my mizouse
Upgrade my system at least twice a day
Im strictly plug-and-play, I aint afraid of y2k
Im down with bill gates, I call him money for short
I phone him up at home and I make him do my tech support
Its all about the pentiums, what?
Youve gotta be the dumbest newbie Ive ever seen
Youve got white-out all over your screen
You think your commodore 64 is really neato
What kinda chip you got in there, a dorito?
Youre usin a 286? dont make me laugh
Your windows boots up in what, a day and a half?
You could back up your whole hard drive on a floppy diskette
Youre the biggest joke on the internet
Your database is a disaster
Youre waxin your modem, tryin to make it go faster
Hey fella, I bet youre still livin in your parents cellar
Downloadin pictures of sarah michelle gellar
And postin me too! like some brain-dead aol-er
I should do the world a favor and cap you like old yeller
Youre just about as useless as jpegs to hellen keller

Uh, uh, loggin in now
Wanna run wit my crew, hah?
Rule cyberspace and crunch numbers like I do?
They call me the king of the spreadsheets
Got em printed out on my bedsheets
My new computers got the clocks, it rocks
But it was obsolete before I opened the box
You say youve had your desktop for over a week?
Throw that junk away, man, its an antique
Your laptop is a month old? well thats great
If you could use a nice, heavy paperweight
My digital media is write-protected
Every file inspected, no viruses detected
I beta tested every operation system
Gave props to some, and others? I dissed em
While your computers crashin, mines multitaskin
It does all my work without me even askin
Got a flat-screen monitor forty inches wide wide
I believe that your says etch-a-sketch on the side
In a 32-bit world, youre a 2-bit user
Youve got your own newsgroup, alt.total-loser
Your motherboard melts when you try to send a fax
Whered you get your cpu, in a box of cracker jacks?
Play me online? well, you know that Ill beat you
If I ever meet you Ill control-alt-delete you
What? what? what? what? what?

Breath by Breath
Our moments are precious and
Our time is now.
Use it wisely and use it well!
There is no connecting the past
And future. The presence is the
in-between and only lasts but
Less than a breath.
The presence is so fast,
a blink of an eye and it is the past!
Then are we really living our future with
each inhale and our past goes out
with each exhale?
Are is it really just a pretence of presence?
Future - Past,
Future - Past,
Future - Past!

What I Really Needed
so sorry, let me be candid,
what i need, is, not you,
you are here already,
what can i do? at times
i need the past, talk to it,
and feel the home that was,
but past is past, the dead
sleeps with the dead, and
there is no waking up, you see,
and so i try to embrace
the future, but it was too young
then and not prepared to
understand, and i take the quiet
and the lotus
positioning of the man
refusing to be lost
on a train of thought
into oblivion, i want to quit,
but you know i can't,
we have a house and a farm,
an apartment and a brand
new car, we have a life,
we have learned this hate and
love and hate and love,
this i can never leave without you
script, sans the aria, and the
long breaths, the notes of
agony dissolving
over the brilliance of
the sparkles of wine.
what i need, i must agree,
is here, and it is you
still.

Holding Progress
In our hands is it and here!
Best of perfections with real approvements.
Miracle of emotional chance of
waves from heaven, earth, universe
Talented glory floating up over the walls
Prosperity of humanitarian actions
Courages to motivate our future
is true—unbelievable upcomings
Blessed brightest future might be
Together starting future in pray
All over the doings of
known with unknowing
Spectacular feelings, fightings
Conglomerate of great real world
An ideal work on it
unchained open-minded
Inside the ocean of past, destiny, future
Desirous with actions
Should it be all humans together?
In name of humanity, prosperity,
progress to be

Forever
Imaterial everything
imaterial soul
your soul is everything you are
everything you are is your personality
your personality is your actions
and your actions are from your fate
you can control all
but you cant control any of them
they can effect your future but not your past
but the past is what defines your future
make your choice now
everything can effect you
where as nothing can
emotions can control you
control your soul
its imaterial
there forever
leaving you never

Be ever enthused to be in touch with future
Be ever enthused to be in touch with future
Future
Philosophers say
Is an illusion
For each second that is in the coming
Is uncertain
Hazy and a mirage
Past is lost
And it is spilt milk
Nothing can be done
With the past
Each previous second is as past
As the previous century
They suggest
For keeping up with the pace of time
It would be wise
Not to dream of the future
And not to lament on the past
Enjoy the present
It is easier said than done
We keep busy thinking
Either about the future
Or keep grumbling with the past
Memory and acquired experience
Will not allow us
To thoughtfully digest
Events occurring at the present
It is also not debatable
The quality of the present second
Depends on
The quality of the efforts
Made in the previous second
Where we are and
What we are
All because of our
Struggle or otherwise
In the past
Past experience and
Our present standing
Take us where we will be tomorrow
It will not be unwise
To a dream a future
Matching our skills
And the present position
We often dwell in a future
That is not achievable
With our present standing
And our capabilities
Unrealized future
Makes us feel sad
Be ever be in touch future
As the present second only
Manifests itself as a future
Know what you do
Know what you have as means
To take you into
The dreamt future
A colourful future is not an impossible realm
To be scaled
If you take seriously the means
To be there
Your present actions
Are executed only
To be sure that
You are
There in that wonder tomorrow
That dream keeps you
Motivated in going ahead
That dream keeps you
On the path of learning
That dream keeps you
Innovating new solutions
That dream keeps you
Enjoy what you do
That dream keeps you
Enthused in living
That dream keeps you
Looking for opportunities for improvement
Be in touch with dream ever
And
Be ever enthused to be in touch with future
Though philosophically non-existent
Which only helps you realize your potential

Melancholy Song
A melancholy song plays
reversing the future to the past
along a wasteland
of invisible dotted lines
filled with haunted pits
where no one should ever enter.
From a future full of promise
to a past full of uncertainty
where the weeping willow sways
under a mournful wind
as the melancholy song
drags the past to the future
so misery can rein again.

This is certainly not the first case in which a merger approved in one place hasn't gone through in the other. There was a case last year where the merger between two EU companies was approved here and blocked in the U.S.

Dimension Merge
For us the past has gone and the present moves on
into the yesterday of a future’s present time.
Despite living in the future’s past this will not last,
present and future will very soon combine.
Future or dimension, to some a misapprehension,
but they are one in the same.
If there’s more than one, they will follow on
to leave one, with it’s present name.
On merging we’ll realise we’ve no future to recognise,
and the past and present is all we’ll know.
The past will still be renewed, with each day used,
but the future will mean only tomorrow.
