Abraham Lincoln

The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew.

If Only the Sun Would Rise

If the sun would rise, I would be grateful.
Because a new day is starting.
Not like yesterday, or the day before;
A day when no one should be hateful.

If only the sun would rise,
I’d spend the day with you,
And maybe the night,
Until the day anew.

It would be so lovely,
If the sun would rise,
That maybe,
There would be a surprise.

I love you too much,
To let you go up to the skies,
If only the sun would rise.

If only the sun would rise,
I’d spend the day with you,
And maybe the night,
Until the day anew.

I would appreciate your every thought,
And then right on the spot,
To our surprise,
The morning sun will rise.

Sonnet: Advice

A man anew will soon enter your life!
You got to change your mind and become his
Beloved, better-half and obedient wife;
This is the secret of our earthly bliss.

The many things that we may do when young,
Are best forgotten at the earliest!
A woman must learn to control her tongue;
’Tis better than being the prettiest.

Forget the past and start anew, my dear!
The future has so much to give to you;
Nevertheless, you go ahead sans fear,
And that is how you get your success too.

The past should not hinder the present state,
But help you lead a happy life with mate!

Sonnet: Give Me A Heart Anew, O God

Give me a heart anew, O God, I pray;
The one I have is sinful and impure;
Forgive my sins once more, Lord show my way;
Just say one word, Thy grace will heal me sure.

Give me a heart anew, let me begin,
To walk the road, the way you want me to;
Let me never commit a mortal sin;
Give in to temptations, the devils woo.

Give a heart anew, O God, once more;
I promise to keep it sin free lifetime;
Opened, you have for me another door;
Let me not fail to make my life sublime.

Give me a heart anew, O God, again;
And give thy grace to keep it off sin's stain.

Never The Agony

Agitate me not, agonize me never,
Such is the speed of thinking.
Aloud are words of quite a little thought,
The mind differs from occasion to occasion.
This offering is a proud notion
Of the variety we pick like flowers.
The motion of the plants is of the butterfly,
Those in orbit around the world know why.
Their polite quiet is discernable and crazy,
Loathsome is the spirit of walking
In the fashion of a zealot, so speedy
In thinking and so outrageous a personality.
We are not overwhelmed by zealotry
For we speak too many times against them.

Time

Time is a nonspacial continuum
In which events occur in obvious
Irreversible sequencing union:
Past, present and future, continuous.
What does all this mean to us in our lives?
Well, we have many memories don’t we?
Shared with our loved ones and our relatives.
Past experiences that once were new
Are now old, recyclable memories.
Those timely abstract musings cling to
Everyone: today's contemporaries.
The entire past is what we are anew.
The present is shaped by this time “before”
And hinged on what the future holds in store.

Rise, Rise to the Occasion

Rise, rise to the occasion
Rise, rise to the invitations of life
Oh rise, rise to the music of joy
Uh rise, rise to the victory over strife!

This is the time for you to march forward
Oh son of the Mighty! Valor is the key
This is the urgency to show courage abundant
Oh daughter of Energy! Courage is the key

Rise, rise to the tide and rise to the low
Defeat lethargy and defeat fear
Mind the goal and attain it
The guts are here and the glory is here

Face the challenge, embrace it
Cross the puddles and the furrows
Calm the heart and fight the battle
Celebration’s for you – not the sorrows

Rise, rise then, rise O bright!
Rise, rise then to the right
Tire not, rise till the end of the path
Rise, rise then to all the might!

Come on babies

come in babies let's get is all anew
the witches down burned
they never really learned
they never really knew
how to get it all anew

come on babies let's go on all anew
let's turn the leaves on the brighter side
let the page that grieves be torn to hide
old pain not to pierce again
old hearts not to be beat in vain

come on babies forget your fears
turn old years to a happy new year

Inadequate

Inadequate.
It means not enough.
Like water in a glass half full
it is insufficient.
Some necessary bit is absent.
Inadequate is deficient.
It is vitamin C
in the diet of someone suffering from scurvy.
Inadequate is precisely what you feel
when you work yourself tired
for something your heart so desired
and in the end disappoint yourself still.
Inadequate is when you lack the will
to even try because somewhere inside
you just know you will fail.
Inadequate is someone when rejected.
Something inadequate is something defective.
Inadequate can mean not deserving company
almost like you're invisible maybe,
too unimportant to like or hate.
This word 'inadequate'
resounds in my head of late.

Start Anew

Ive been so alone
Aint no fun since youve been gone cryin on the phone
Youre the one
I got to fly to you
I got to get to you somehow
Our love is tried and true
Im a believer now
Im still high on you
Now were through the hardest part
Open your heart, and lets start anew
Let your angel baby bring you a dream
I cant wait now, baby, to spread these wings
(its only you that can)
Make my grey skies electric blue
Kiss these bad times goodbye and lets start anew
Whyd I let you go say so long?
Thought I was strong (yes I thought I was strong, baby)
Baby now I know, I was wrong. I want to fly to you
Make it up to you somehow
Reach for the sky with you
And never come back down
Im still high on you
Now were through the hardest part
Open your heart, and lets start anew

Past, Present, Future

i lived in the past for so long
that the present was always unknown.

now i always look ahead at all the possibilities
and there is so much, that i now see.

a shimmer of light at the end of the tunnel
and my thoughts being poured through a funnel.

the past is the past, and that's where it will stay
and in the present, we have to find a better way.
for the present will soon be our past
and if we don't do something, it will not last.

we must always look to the future
for it is only twenty four hours away
then it will be our past
and we have so much to do and say.

when i look at life, i truely have to laugh
today is our future and tomorrow it'll be our past.

now that i have you confused as to what i am
trying to say.
i guess i will try' to put it a better way'.

we all tend to procrastinate
always leaving it for tomorrow.
but! what if you don't see tomorrow.
and today you did'nt accomplish that task
how will you be remembered
if the present you left for last.

when we leave this material world
and our souls soar up in the sky
we will still have our memories
and that we can rely.

for when we get up there(if we do)
your soul will have carried all that you did
in this life
and the memories of friends, family
husband, or wife.

now when you look down on all that you had did
and asking yourself the question.
did i use my time, the way it was
meant to be?
or did i procrastinate, that others now speak of me?

we all have to work in order to survive.
but we must stop on occasion to smell the flowers.
and to enjoy all that we was given
otherwise how can you call this living.

(my thoughts: the words and stories were given to me.
so that i could write them down, for al the world to see.)
this is my philosophy.

On Playing With Sand

Yesterday,
An amendment was made,
Men and women danced,
Goblets stroke in the hall,
To celebrate
An occasion of success.

Today,
The same amendment
Has been undone,
Men and women have danced,
Goblets have stroke in the hall,
To celebrate
An occasion of success.

Tomorrow,
Again the amendment will be made,
Men and women will dance,
Goblets will strike in the hall,
To celebrate
An occasion of success.

This is how our government goes on,
By doing and undoing amendments,
Like children who play on sand,
Make houses, stupas, towers and tombs,
And smash them with kicks,
To make them afresh,
But the difference is they do not celebrate,
An occasion of success.

Sonnet: Dear Doctor Brother

Forget the past, however bitter, Man!
Begin now Life, anew, afresh again;
With Will-power, perform great things, one can;
There is a time for Sun; a time for Rain.

The chances life gives us are not many;
A married-man has an extra duty,
To tend to dependent souls; Be canny;
Experience the Almighty’s great beauty.

God knows your heart; your strength and weaknesses;
But Man must listen to His call always;
Never mind your sins, mistakes, past excesses;
Become a leaf anew; amend your ways.
There’s Light still at the end of the tunnel!
You must come out now from your self-made Hell.
