This thing that Colin Powell's son is expected to do is kind of scary when you think that television and radio and newspapers are what make people think what they think.

Electronic Support
And as long as I don’t see
You on the television
Or I don’t hear about
You on the radio
Or I don’t even read about
You on the national newspapers
Everything you are telling me
That it is happing to you
I would consider them
As a pure fantasy
As a pigmentation of your
Own imagination
I can even go as far as
To advice you to become a novelist
I can even get angry
If you still persist to talk to me
About the all situation
If you still want me to believe you
If you still want to get my sympathy
If you still want me to help you
With the kinds of sufferings
That you are going through everyday
With the kinds of oppressions
That you are experiencing
With the kinds of famine and malaise
That your wife and children are being victim of
Get on television
Make a radio broadcast
Invite a writer to write about you
Not any kind of writer
A journalist
I insist a journalist
To write about you…Otherwise
I would find it boring to read
So, in short, get some kind of
Electronic Support to inform me
About your problems
While I am in comfort of my house
In my car or even in my office
Then I can believe you
Then you can get my sympathy
Then I can inform the all world
That you are indeed in need
Otherwise…Don’t bother me…

The real drug
Television takes away what you could acheive.Newspapers takeaway your sense of what s it all about.Death destruction of our home Earth, people not looking out for each and everyone.Money its not what its all about, Corporate greed is insane, goverment well yeah look out here comes another one[Tax].They say We are here for the people, but never really listening. The laws don t seem to be working/families growing apart where are the kids riding bikes in the park being kids. Television computers videos thats where they are watching the screen not socialising, we are to blame competing with each other.Life is not a dress rehersal Move.Im not saying i have the answer because we cant change corparations and you wont allow thisthe need to have it all stops us.Television Print Radio Is the drug off all nations

After the Republican Party did everything that Colin Powell says it needs to do to grow, and nominated the very kind of candidate he wanted in 2008, what did Powell do? He endorsed Obama! So according to the Drive-Bys and David Gergen, Republicans should let somebody who campaigned and voted for Obama, tell us how to build our party.

Radio, newspapers, they were normal parts of my life. In those days, you had to go somewhere to watch television and leave something to see it.

If the education of our kids comes from radio, television, newspapers - if that's where they get most of their knowledge from, and not from the schools, then the powers that be are definitely in charge, because they own all those outlets.

Eyes-radio-lies
Slipping past position
You know I watch you dive
Watching you painted in chrome max factor
And feeling number one
all alone now
I can see you way, to the drone
Radio waves, hitting your brain from the phone
I can see
I cant see whats on your mind
Because your never alone
I am the voice inside your head
And the eyes in your radio
Im the eyes in your radio (radio, radio)
Im the eyes in your radio (radio, radio)
Hello mr. race car driver
You know Im watching you too
In the trauma-room, brain dead, still you went faster
Now your number means nothing
Mr. nickel-plated candyman
Are you feeling in lifeless in aluminum
Spinning decisions to the core
As everyone dances in the fast lane
I cant see whats on your mind
Because your never alone
I am the voice inside your head
And the eyes in your radio
Im the eyes in your radio (eyes in your radio)
Im the eyes in your radio (radio, radio)
With all thats fake, theres sence to make
From toys that break (from toys that, from toys that break)
Its time to throw away, all the bad things that you hated
You scared yourself away, now heres what you appreciate
Thats why people lie (people like you)
Thats why people lie (people like me)
Thats why people lie (people like you)
Thats why people lie (people like me)
Thats why people lie (so go away)
Thats why people lie (people like me)
Thats why people lie (people like you)
Thats why people lie
Im the eyes in your radio (eyes in your radio)
Im the eyes in your radio (radio, radio)
With all thats fake, theres sence to make, from toys that break (radio,
Radio...)
With all thats fake, theres sence to make, from toys that break (radio,
Radio...)
With all thats fake, theres sence to make, from toys that break
With all thats fake, theres sence to make, from toys that break

You know, there are not only - all of the networks, and I mean every television news operation and print and radio and magazines, newspapers, all of them, are remiss in the diversity area. I mean, none of these organizations have reached a level of parity.

An extraterrestrial being, newly arrived on Earth - scrutinizing what we mainly present to our children in television, radio, movies, newspapers, magazines, the comics, and many books - might easily conclude that we are intent on teaching them murder, rape, cruelty, superstition, credulity, and consumerism. We keep at it, and through constant repetition many of them finally get it.What kind of society could we create if, instead, we drummed into them science and a sense of hope.

We didn't have television until I was about eight years old, so it was either the movies or radio. A lot of radio drama. That was our television, you know. We had to use our imagination. So it was really those two things, and the comics, that I immersed myself in as a child.

It's a disgrace that we have millions of people who are uninsured, but at the same time too - in the eyes of the American people, in my judgment, it looked as if that somehow become more important than the main attack which was to fix the economy and get the Americans working again.
