War should be the politics of last resort. And when we go to war, we should have a purpose that our people understand and support.

I believe people who go into politics want to do the right thing. And then they hit a big wall of re-election and the pettiness of politics. In the end, politics gets in the way of the business of people.

Last Resort
You're my last resort
When i don't have anyone else to talk to
You're there for me
Yet you're a friend that goes unnoticed
You're my last resort
When i think i'm useless
Wanting to die you reassure me
You're one of my best friends
Yet i don't treat you like one
With that said
I'm truely sorry
You're my last resort
and i'm yours

Politics is not predictions and politics is not observations. Politics is what we do. Politics is what we do, politics is what we create, by what we work for, by what we hope for and what we dare to imagine.

General Fonseka’s entry into politics: Is it the end of democracy in Sri Lanka?
As a simpleton I do not see any difference in between War and Politics.
In the battlefield you kill the enemies by Arms & Ammunition.
But it's rather change in politics as most of the hypocrites use wet towels for the said purpose instead of shooting they do it by strangling,
I suggest that the General could get a retirement and wear a saffron robe for the end of journey?

The Purpose Of Life
we are humans nothing less
no one is perfect everyone makes mistake
we hurt each other, we hates each other
that's the purpose of life
when we end up lonely it's normal to treats others in a bad situation
when we have no one to run to or to speaks with it's normal to be used
that's the purpose of life
how would the world works without struggling?
life is not fair it is just a pain so understand that
life is all about taking risks so understand the task
the purpose of life

People Are People
We're different colours
And we're different creeds
And different people
Have different needs
It's obvious you hate me
Though I've done nothing wrong
I've never even met you
What could I have done
La, la, la, la, la
La, la, la, la, la, la
People are people
So why should it be
You and I shouldnt get along
People are people
So why should it be
You should hate mePeople are people
So why should it be
You and I shouldnt get along
People are people
So why should it be
You should hate me
You're punching, kicking
And you're shouting at me
And I'm relying on your common decency
La, la. la, la. la
So far it hasn't surfaced
But I'm sure it exists
It just takes a while to travel
From your head to your fist
Can't understand what makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand
People are people
So why should it be
You and I shouldnt get along
People are people
So why should it be
You should hate mePeople are people
So why should it be
You and I shouldnt get along
People are people
So why should it be
You should hate me
I can't understand
What makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand
I can't understand
What makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand
I can't understand
What makes a man
Hate another man
Help me understand

Your Purpose of Living
The master of purpose does not
respect certificate or degree;
He only respect people
with purpose in life.
Purpose is the gate fee
to success land.
Purpose is your direction.
Purpose is an objective in life,
dream, and what you are here for.
You cannot move on in life
until you have discovered
your objectives in life,
which is your purpose of living.

Welcomed Into the Family of Comprehension
Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.
Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.
What hand reaching out to shake,
Does not support that?
What prolonged heartbreak,
Would stay wallowing in sorrow?
To borrow an excuse,
Or a chance not to view agony?
Close up and into a tear stained face.
You should not want that reflecting...
Everywhere,
And in every face you see.
Denial is the most contagious disease!
Everywhere,
And in every face you see.
Denial is the most contagious disease!
No thing is detached,
That keeps an attraction from coming back.
Something is attached to that.
And seriously repeated.
When done,
The meaning of that purpose...
Should not go misunderstood!
Like selling one 'pot' who requested 'crack'.
An end should come to that.
When the mind gets that whacked out.
And chained to keep one remaining unchanged.
If it does because of ignorance declared delicious?
That can be forgiven, allowed and forgotten.
We all have had our cravings.
However...
If it does come from an intention reeking in deceit?
That can be considered a good cause,
Some some severe cussing out!
And some folks have earned their cussing out,
Those deserving it...
Rights!
And some folks can be sadistic about it!
You can not cuss them out enough!
There are a number of them to unionize.
Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.
If it does come from an intention meant?
That can be shallow, obvious...
And an absence of common sense.
And an absence of it is more common than not!
If one ain't got it!
And an intention done lacking sense,
Wastes too much time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything.
With a purpose to ponder.
And a place for that purpose,
To find reason at that time.
Everything has a reason.
Everything,
In a thinking mind!
Any thought adopted...
Is welcomed into the family,
Of comprehension.
And attempts to understand,
Is supported.

We, the most powerful democracy in the world, have developed a strong norm against talking about politics. It's fine to talk about politics with people you agree with. But it is rude to argue about politics with people you disagree with. Political discourse becomes isolated, and isolated discourse becomes more extreme. We say what our friends want to hear, and hear very little beyond what our friends say.

Am I Left Alone
When my journey started
All were watching me
And guiding me
Wondering at each step I made
Each one ensuring
That I made each step right
Without tumbling
Running to my rescue
If I showed signs of discomfort
As I advanced this support and help
Started reducing
As they saw me
Helping new entrants
In making steps right
The support even stopped
And they were not forthcoming
Even if I asked for
I understood that
I needed no further help
And can stand and walk on my own
And I had additional strength
To reach out others if they were in need
Of a help from me
Is it that in the process
I had given room for others to think
I can hurt them
One realization dawned in me
People rush to help
If you talk your mind
And if you do what you talk
This support wanes
When you start guising your thought
When you sweeten your words
To mask the bitterness of your intensions
And when acts counter what you spoke
This growth of mine
And the acquired so called worldly wisdom
Distanced me away from others
I receive complaints too
That I fail to understand others
While I nurse a feeling
That others do not care to understand me
I am also described as a person
Living in his own world
Choosing not to accept surrounding realities
And not to appreciate their impacts
Either on me
Or on people around
No doubt
I am given to question myself
Am I left alone

Politician
By jack bruce and pete brown
Hey now baby, get into my big black car.
Hey now baby, get into my big black car.
I want to just show you what my politics are.
Im a political man and I practice what I preach.
Im a political man and I practice what I preach.
So dont deny me baby, not while youre in my reach.
I support the left, though Im leaning, leaning to the right.
I support the left, though Im leaning to the right.
But Im just not there when its coming to a fight.
Hey now baby, get into my big black car.
Hey now baby, get into my big black car.
I want to just show you what my politics are.
