When the character of a man is not clear to you, look at his friends.

Friends
Show me your friend
And I can tell your character.
The friends you keep,
Determine your deeds,
Reveal your preferences,
Inform your references.
The friends you move with,
Shape your attitude,
Mold your aptitude,
Decide your future altitude.
Friends are of different types.
They come in different styles.
So be mindful of your picking,
So as not to regret your pick.
Friends can make you,
Friends can break you.
Friends can prop you up,
Friends can pluck you down.
Some friends can further your cause,
Others can cause you your feathers.
What type, are yours?

In Answer To Pirandello's Question
if the character steps inside my room
i will perhaps choose the
character
honestly, i still don't have it
i mean,
character, not that character of
your play

Choose your friends by their character and your socks by their color. Choosing your socks by their character makes no sense, and choosing your friends by their color is unthinkable.
The Better Friend
A man of good character is a better friend
Than a rich man who only loves his wealth
For the man with character will stay till the end
With his friend, in poverty or in poor health.
I have had so many friends in times of abundance
And only about two remained in Adversity
In life I discovered true friends of substance
Were not found in my times of Prosperity.
So when you are down and so all alone
And you find there is one friend who stands with you
You are most blessed not with what you own
But for that one friend whom you found is true.

Character
One should exert character,
For character exhibits your soul
And the soul has a murky appearance,
It decided to be mysterious
But not when you gain character.
The character is an infinity, a logic
For the soul to create, so it does.
My soul worked like yours,
Once it even behaved like a saint
Opening the life around, then virtues surround.
My character is to be a mathematical puzzle,
My character is grand, my grand puzzle.
I have been this achievement from that achievement.

Crystal Clear Blue Eyes
He’s always had
crystal clear
blue eyes;
I always thought
somehow they represented
the clarity of his character.
Youth now faded
along with hair; teeth,
perhaps a bit of the sharpness
of memory,
but
behind those eyes
there still lies
a genuine heart,
a man of strength,
honesty; good character.
Maybe it’s true after all,
that the eyes
are the window
of the soul.

He is a character lazy
Ditching parents' earnings ruthless
Sometimes some are jobless mazy
He is a character lazy
Some are born lethargic lazy
Parasites clinging on useless
He is a character lazy
Ditching parents' earnings ruthless

He is an eccentric husband
Enclosed with friends madly all time
Freaky sneaky friends never banned
He is an eccentric husband
They infest his home to sound grand
And to fear his folks any time
He is an eccentric husband
Enclosed with friends madly all time

A pious boy here can't get wedded
For most girls like to be modern
Ritual codes today dreaded
A pious boy can't get wedded
Stars match yet boys can't get wedded
For stars are old and not modern
A pious boy can't get wedded
For most girls like to be modern

An Injustice
God knows how much I love her
Though she has loose character!
God knows how much I want her
Though she has loose character!
God knows how much I need her
Though she has loose character!
I can’t even walk with her
Though she has loose character!
I can’t even talk to her
Though she has loose character!
I can’t even look at her
Though she has loose character!

Could not even believe what I was seein
How do I even stop thinkin of you?

Nobody told me I would feel like this
Wanting you more as the years walk on by
Now Im not afraid to say what i, I believe
But I wish you were my wife

First time we met so cool, cool I never knew
You would become so closely to my heart
And now when I look back, girl I was so blessed
The rest never passed the test
Im choosy when it comes to newfound friends
And I wish they could be so smooth
(just like you)
And you never sweated me girl that was so tight
You were an angel in my life, oh, if
(I knew then)
What I know now
(what I know now)
Oh, yeah
(you wouldnt be with him)
You would be here
(youd be here with me)
My old friend

All my old friends
Are my best friends

A man is what he is, not what men say he is. His character no man can touch. His character is what he is before his God and his Judge; and only he himself can damage that. His reputations what men say he is. That can be damaged; but reputation is for time, character is for eternity

I just think with the way I look and since I have a broad range I ended up becoming a character actor. But you start to really enjoy that, if you are successful. You get to charge out on almost every character. Doing one character for like seven years or whatever may get really boring.

Abusive
Abusive homes,
Self-concept and character;
But these violent behaviours will not save you.
Abuse has a negative effect on character,
And now your negative character is seen by all.

I think the character does tend to suit an episodic thing, because what's fun about him is that he doesn't care about anyone else, and it's very difficult for a main character - a lead character - in a movie to not care about anybody else.

If you want to know someone's character, look at the friends he keeps.
It makes it fun. When an actor plays a character, you want what that character wants. Otherwise it doesn't look authentic. So I really want to defeat Jimmy - I mean Jimmy as the character.
I played this character twice in live action, and now I've become an animated character. It was actually fun to see myself drawn - I've never been a drawn character before.

No one of good character leaves behind a wasted life — whether they die in obscurity or renown. "Character," wrote the 19th Century evangelist, Dwight Moody, "is what you are in the dark." Your character is not tested on occasions of public scrutiny or acclaim. It is not tested in moments when the object of your actions is the regard of another. Your character is what you are to yourself, not what you pretend to be to yourself or others. Although human beings often attempt self-delusion, we cannot forever hide the truth about ourselves from ourselves. It will make itself known to us by means of our conscience despite our most strenuous effort to suppress it.

Just to Share Their Good Wishes
Often folks are depicted,
To be less influencial than they are.
Most times than none,
This is done by relatives and friends of some.
With a demeaning of one's character.
From an innocence that is done!
Now...
If the one who is victimized,
Wins the lottery...
Or some other monetary prize.
Relatives, friends and those unknown,
Expose themselves from beyond closed doors...
And everywhere else,
To make themselves known.
Just to share their good wishes!
And...
Of course a taste,
Of what for them they find delicious.

The collective name for the ripe fruits of religion in a character is Saintliness. The saintly character is the character for which spiritual emotions are the habitual centre of the personal energy; and there is a certain composite photograph of universal saintliness, the same in all religions, of which the features can easily be traced.
