Title
Give a title
Pursue it.
Giving title is in your hand
After giving title it is you
To go behind it.
Through this title
You are going to search truth
And the secret of truth
Though the title is
Not based on truth.
Title given on imagination
And imaginary world is not real world.
Without imagination
You can not go anywhere
You can not achieve anything.
It is your imagination
That pull and push you.
From the starting
You are wandering
With the title
You have given.
Unless you forget
All that are yours
You can not reach me.
Go not with anything.
Come to me only
Come to me in empty.

Yeah, the record for most titles was previously held by the Fabulous Moolah, she won it four times. And a few weeks ago, I won the title for the sixth time, which has never been done before.

Sometimes you have to be careful when selecting a new nickname for yourself. For instance, let's say you have chosen the nickname 'Fly Head'. Normally, you would think that 'Fly Head' would mean a person who had beautiful swept-back features, as if flying though the air. But think again. Couldn't it also mean 'having a head like a fly' I'm afraid some people might actually think that.

Low-key
Titles worn by some,
To them become as significant as the air one breathes.
It is as if a validation has been achieved.
And what they do has merit and can be believed.
But as for me...
I prefer not to wear my titles at all.
I have too many!
And then to do so hints of a certain pretentiousness.
You know what I mean?
I choose to remain low-key.
Although I do 'update' my résumé.
And make sure my 'bio' has no typos!
I want to represent the common man as best as I can.

Each One Needs a Title
Each one needs a title.
It's not enough to call them by their first names.
Or not be introduced,
Without hearing one's résumé.
And they are serious too.
They want people to know they've earned degrees.
They quickly reveal where they live, what they drive.
And where they eat to be fed the best cruisine.
Each one needs a title.
Something that widens eyes a lot.
Some are overheard saying,
Where they vacation and shop.
Who has a nanny!
And which ones do not.
Who employs a housekeeper.
And which services some had to stop.
Each one needs a title.
At least one impressive enough...
For tongues to wag,
And jaws to drop!

Title stealer and copier
When will you learn originality?
You are worst than a habitual lier
With your habit of duplicity!
Grow up in your literary woes
Shed off that weak inadequacy
Your constant copying just shows
A writer marked by hypocrisy

*(same day postings after authors posted their poems/titles)
The pattern shows titles are changed a little by adding 'song' or changing some pronouns like 'he' to 'she' or adding 'my')
Genuine writers have respect for the Art of Poetry and respect for
their fellow writers, and DUPLICATING OR COPYING TITLES and posting them on the same day that these authors post their work, is worst than STEALING and show a really low type of character. Those who practice this deception are only fooling themselves and display their lack of maturity and their irresponsibility. Shame on you!

Nicknames
nicknames are thrown
around in my family;
our own terms of endearment
word could not describe.
it is that closeness
towards each other
through words that evoke
a special experience
with a brother or sister
or just a plain description of
his uniqueness.
a brother is called La Ting
because of his bald head when a
baby.
eldest brother is labelled Ming
instead of his real name Thai
because of his intelligence
when a child.
Ming means clear-minded.
Another is called Lung
instead of Ing because of his
Chinese horoscope sign dragon
which in Mandarin is Lung.
mom's favourite animal sign
is dragon so the name sticks.
youngest brother is Bee,
my own spontaneous invention
when I saw the cute little child
in mom's hands many years back.
I am so glad and proud
that this is the only creation
in my life that has been used
for so long and that it
has surprisingly given
brother all the good luck;
he turns out to be a bank's manager.
he should have me to thank
for all his fortune.
another brother is called Chi
instead of his real name Kui.
i could not fathom the
reason for this and wonder
which brother first started
calling him that.
eldest sister is Pui
instead of Hua because
of her plumbness when a baby.
and oh dear, we are naughty
when it comes to our neighbours.
many of them have secret nicknames
coined from the way they
talk, walk, and even look
and we really hope they would
never ever find out these names.
Our family just bubble in
our neighbourhood because of
our incessant inner creative jest
to coin all those secret words.
perhaps, we are nicknamed too
which we never
bother about because
we know nicknames are
given out of endearment.
at least, that is the case with us.
