I Don't Know And I Don't Care
Why does the sunset in the west?
And why does my heart keep beating in my chest?
What ever happened to the Duke of Earl?
I got a PBS mind in a MTV world.
Is it ignorance or apathy
I forgot these lessons taught to me.
Some say life isn't fair,
Hey, I don't know, I don't care.
Ambivalent, well, yes and no.
Hey where did all the hippies go?
Our conversation sounds like actors' lines.
Is it time for your medication or mine?
Is it ignorance or apathy
I forgot these lessons taught to me.
Some say life isn't fair,
Hey I don't know, I don't care.
Therapy is extremely expensive.
Poppin' bubblie wrap is radically cheap.
You choose which one helps with your problem.
I'm gonna get some sleep.
I'm gonna get some sleep.
Sandy beaches in distant reaches
And oh those lovely Georgia peaches.
It's never too much and never too late
To pack your bags and get out of state.
Is it ignorance or apathy
The worried will all disagree.
Some say life isn't fair,
Hell, I don't know and I don't care.
If you're looking for a quote from me
I'll be under the mango tree.
Just can't say how I'll get there
Hey, I don't know and I don't care.
I don't know and I don't' care.
I don't know and I don't care.
At his beach house on the moon.

A Speech You Made
A speech meant for eager ears was doing its best
When suddenly a spirit of a bear stammered the speech;
All ability was lost like the good and the bad acting together,
I did not pay much attention to the fasting and praying,
I thought at first, care became caring and also sharing
But never did the lunch especially cause concern
Except to the attention of the priests and clerics
Who thought much of you if you ate your fill.
Sinking back on the pillow, one ingested hated food
And caused the tummy to be bloated.
A speaking man caused nobody to move after eating himself.

Ignorance, apathy, and lethargy cause the most problems in our world. People don't know what's going on, they don't care, and they're too lazy to find out.

Fundamental of Liar Chapter CXXXIII: Ignorance
Why you become ignorance
Because it frightens you
Because it hurts so much
Because it makes you weak
Because you don't want to admit that you care
Why you become ignorance
Because you are too busy
Because you don't want to be troubled
Because you only care about yourself
Because your arrogance
Why you become ignorance
Because you running out of time
Because you already have many problem
Because you still hiding something
Because you don't know how to act

The Chornicles of a Dark Heart Part 3 My Forced Apathetic love
I try and not care, but its hard not to be close...
your empathy
doesn't cancel my apathy
because you know what i don't care...
This kind of love I've never known but it my heart wont last
i won't make it through even if i redo this event in the past
your stars they left long ago
now without your song my joy has turned to woe
I just want to let my feelings out!
if there are any left, this possibility i doubt
come back stars i need you
but you keep me guessing, i don't know if you need me too
with my apathy even when asked about myself i stutter who?

Apathy 83
(ian hunter)
Standin on the edge of vesuvius - my mouth is runnin dry
Drunk on wine & wisdom - giving it all away
Old enough to hate tomorrow - young enough not to know where to run
Oh there aint no rockn roll no more - just the music of the young
Apathy for the devil apathy for the devil
Apathy for the devil ,n apathy for the son.
The moon shines brightly on some summer lawn -
And envy caught like a leaf
Comes floating down upon this frozen desert sand -
Spitting bullets through the night
The siren wails on the ambulance - compassion touches my head n it bleeds
There aint no rockn roll no more just the sickly sound of greed.
And its apathy for the devil and its apathy for the devil
And its apathy for the devil n apathy for the creed
No more gardens for the gardenless - no more - havens for the havenless
No more helpers for the helplessness - no more - somethings for a less
For the law is now the lawless
n the flaw is now the flawless
n the crime is now accepted
n the criminal respected
n now evil gets elected
n now sinful get selected
Heed a president proven rotten now officially forgotten
Was it your general sheridan who once said the only good, good man is a dead good man.
It was not me babe
I just said keep your head n your bread well down under them floorboards
n you - you look like you gone with the wind
Running naked through the streets
Wired out - tired out - transcendental mental - only laughing in your sleep
Nostalgia is starting to focus too late, imagination is starting to itch
There aint no rockn roll no more just the music of the rich
n its apathy for the devil n its apathy for the devil
n its apathy for the devil apathys at fever pitch

I Want To Believe!
i want to believe
that change is possible.
i want to believe
that tomorrow will come.
i want to believe
that equality will be realized.
i want to believe
that parity will become fact.
i want to believe
that diversity will be celebrated.
i want to believe
that knowledge will replace ignorance.
i want to believe
that compassion will defeat apathy.
i want to believe
that humanity will become human!

Spent
all my life
all my time
oh it's got a price
oh gonna pay for mine
I know you really care
all my friends they got
old apathy in the brain
they got no ideas in their heads
they got no path that I can see
don't you think that I don't blame them
don't you think that I can't shame them
don't you think that I don't want them
don't you think that I aint one of them
one of them
I know you really care
you're just another x.

Money Does Not
money does not
make ignorance
an intelligent option!
does not
make one man
better than another!
does not
excuse apathy, hypocrisy,
or greed!
cannot
buy love, salvation,
or dignity!

Loss of Opportunity to Correct
They are seeking someone to blame,
For the deadend of their greed.
For the sloppiness of their gluttony.
For the selfishness they feed.
But they will come to realize,
They've been driven by their own addictions.
And their own needs to be deluded.
Unconsciously polluted and fantasized.
And with eyes clearing...
A reflection they see!
Racism, division, ignorance and isolation.
With a loss of opportunity...
To correct.
With no empathy bestowed from those,
Who observe them as they pass.
Looking onto this scene...
Expressing no feelings to be seen.
At least none they have chosen,
For them to regret!
Corruption fed without a consciousness...
Comes to greet.
Without delicious treats.
For a clean up that comes next.
And the seriousness of reality,
Taken to confront such a mess!
'Did we do this by ourselves? '
Yes, children!
No one else.
And guess what?
You will clean it up yourselves.
Here is your broom and mop.
Get busy!
And when you are done here...
There is much more.
Not we...
Or us!
But 'you' will do to improve!
And...
Over there,
You will find your uniforms.

Pain Pain by cedrick dennis
Pain Pain over here pain over there Pain in my heart pain in my soul Pain in my mind Pain in my skin pain in my bones Pain being caused left and right Pain being caused till the heart bleeds red Pain being caused till the skin and bone rip Pain being caused till you break into tears Pain at school Pain at home Pain in my head, pain in my heart Pain in my mind, pain in my soul Pain happening in my sleep Pain happening in my thoughts Pain happening when I’m alone Pain happening in the shower, in my room, in my bed, in my house where I’m all alone Pain happening every hour, every minute, every second of my life Pain caused by anger and hate Pain caused by hurt Pain caused by greed Pain caused by sorrow and depression Pain caused by grief and confusion Pain caused by your family and friends Pain caused by the world Pain caused by people you love Pain driving me crazy Causing me to take pills till it fills up my veins I go to sleep never to wake up and see that light The light that will end my pain for good

Genuine Democracy Fought For
true democracy
must be fought for
upheld as an ideal
we all aspire to
we are at the cross roads
it is time the herd
removed the mask
of ignorance apathy
from their faces
decided to collectively
renew embrace the beautiful
dream of their forefathers

One Disturbed
Seeking an attention,
By the use of offensive means...
Teaches not a thing,
To one disturbed...
By mental dysfunctions.
An ignorance like this has been fostered.
An ignorance has been allowed to flourish.
An ignorance that grows becomes expensive.
Since an ignorance bestows,
A flowing of it that becomes out of control!
