More Fun Than A Barrel Of Monkeys

there are multiple questions pertaining to the concept,
'more fun than a barrel of monkeys.'

how big is the barrel?
how many monkeys are we talking about?
how big are the monkeys? Are we talking spider monkeys, chimps, baboons or what?
Are the monkeys old or young and where's the barrel, inside or outside?

If you leave the monkeys in the barrel, you got a problem:
they'll die in their own excrement,
if you lift the lid and let them out,
they might kill you.

a monkey can rip out your eyes, is that fun?
monkeys, leaping and running around the house, can do a lot of damage, is that fun?
monkeys are dirty, so... what exactly do you consider fun?
what's it going to be like trying to get the monkeys back in the barrel?
would that be fun?

what would the neighbors think of you, if you released the monkeys into their yards?
what happens if the police gets involved?
it could mean everything imaginable is more fun than a barrel of these animals.
maybe even more fun than a barrel of human beings.

Look At All Those Monkeys!

Look at all those monkeys
Jumping in their cage.
Why don't they all go out to work
And earn a decent wage?

How can you say such silly things,
And you a son of mine?
Imagine monkeys travelling on
The Morden-Edgware line!

But what about the Pekinese!
They have an allocation.
'Don't travel during Peke hour',
It says on every station.

My Gosh, you're right, my clever boy,
I never thought of that!
And so they left the monkey house,
While an elephant raised his hat.

Monkeys Must Know What's Good For Them

Monkeys do mind,
How a banana peels.
And how that's done,
To quicken the taste.

Why bananas do appeal,
And not coconuts?
I had not seen this spoken.
Or discussed in a fuss.

The monkeys must know what's good for them.
As they get their vitamins.
And swing from high vines.

The monkeys must know what's good for them.
And we...
Unfortunately,
Are not monkeys.

The monkeys must know what's good for them.
As they get their vitamins.
And swing from high vines.

The monkeys must know what's good for them.
And we...
Unfortunately,
Are not monkeys.

Monkeys do mind,
How a banana peels.
And how that's done,
To quicken the taste.

Why bananas do appeal,
And not coconuts?
I had not seen this spoken.
Or discussed in a fuss.
And we...
Unfortunately,
Are not monkeys.

The monkeys must know what's good for them.
As they get their vitamins.
And swing from high vines.
Stripping exotic trees,
Of fruit they leave.

The monkeys must know what's good for them.
And we,
Unfortunately...
Are not monkeys.

The monkeys must know what's good for them.
And,
We...
Unfortunately,
Are not monkeys.

The monkeys must know what's good for them.
And we,
Unfortunately...
Are not monkeys.

Monkeys must know what's good for them.
But we...
Unfortunately,
Are not monkeys.

The Smartest Monkeys

Well man created the cardboard box to sleep in it
And man converted the newspaper to a blanket
Well you have to admit that hes come a long way
Since swinging about in the trees
Were the smartest monkeys
The smartest monkeys
The evidence is all around
Our brains are bigger
This weve found
The smartest monkeys
Well man discovered the park bench can make a transition
And the rubbish tip makes a valid form of nutrition
With discoveries like these
Civilisation agrees
To give itself a pat on the back
Were the smartest monkeys
The evolutions plain to see
Were the dominant of the species
The smartest monkeys
We brought the caveman from the stoneage
To the subways of the modern world
How they pack so many in
Quick call the guinness book of records
Well you have to admit...
Were the smartest monkeys...

Survival

Sunshine is creeping in
And somewhere in a field a life begins
An egg too proud to rape
The beginning of a shape of things to come
That starts the run
Life has begu
Fly fast the gun
The mother flew too late
And life within the egg was left to fate
Not really knowing how
The world outside would take it when it came
And lifes the same
For things we aim
Are we to blame?
Dont doubt the fact theres life within you
Yesterdays endings will tomorrow life give you
All that dies
Dies for a reason
To put its strength into the seasons
Survival,
Survival
They take away and they give
The livings right to live (its all that we need to give)
The livings right to know
The egg breaks all is out
The crawling bird begins to scream and shout
Where is the parent bird?
A loneliness arose and heard its name ring in
For lives, begin
Survival win
Survival sin
So soon the evening comes
And with it runs the aching fear of hate
Could someone still remain
Who thinks he still could gain by escaping fate?
Its much too late
Dont underrate
Appreciate
Dont doubt the fact theres life within you
Yesterdays endings will tomorrow life give you
All that dies
Dies for a reason
To put its strength into the seasons
Survival,
Survival
They take away and they give
The livings right to live (its all that we need to give)
The livings right to know
Survival,
Survival
They take away and they give
The livings right to live (its all that we need to give)
The livings right to know (its all that we have to show)
And were all going (and were all going )
And were all going (and were all going )
And were all going somewhere

Strength of Love

Strength of Love is real
And I love to strengthened
Myself and I love you
And love bears influence on all
Animals birds trees all
Livings and non-livings
I know Love is right
Love is eternal and love is truth
And I fall in love with you.

Monkey Gone To Heaven

There was a guy
An under water guy who controlled the sea
Got killed by ten million pounds of sludge
From new york and new jersey
This monkeys gone to heaven
The creature in the sky
Got sucked in ahole
Now theres a hole in the sky
And the grounds not cold
And if the grounds not cold
Everything is gonna burn
Well all take turns
Ill get mine, too
This monkeys gone to haven
Rock me joe!
If man is 5 [3x]
Then the devil is 6 [5x]
Then God is 7 [3x]
This monkeys gone to heaven

jump with jump...
Side by side...
Monkeys...
Play...
Watch about mind...
Also play with
The monkeys....
Monkeys did not
watch about me...

The 3 Monkeys

Three little monkeys, they played about,

Doing all sorts of things, till their mother did shout;

If you don't stop this misbehaving, you'll go to bed,

All this playing up, is giving me a pain in my head.

Three little monkeys, would play hide and seek,

When they heard a secret, they'd be a sticky beak;

Sometimes they'd run away, till their mother called them back,
,
If you three keep playing up, you'll go to bed with a smack.

It reminds me of us children, when I was young growing up,

And mum told us to behave, we'd act like a naughty pup;

But! Most times I remember the great times we did play,

And when it was a holiday, we'd go somewhere to stay.

Yes! It wasn't all bad for those monkeys, those three,

And growing up, there were great times as well for me;

I thank my Mother, as I'm sure the monkeys do too,

Cause a mother can only take so much, oh yes! This is true.

Far From The Clutches

i read it again
amazed by what you said

as you were saying
you write a note about a man that they put in prison

for being ideological
very unlike the masses that go to congress and adopt a dress code
and stick to the rules of speech

propriety, that is the main rule,
not justice, conformity not creativity,
contentment not exploration and so on and so forth

summed up with your
etcetera,

giving medical assistance is beyond ideology
the sick man deserves to be given his dose of medicine
whatever he is
he is the sick man and he needs help
why hinder the good samaritan
why ask for his ID?
his political belonging

i wonder where is this journey taking us?
to hell? where is it?

it is here.

but this is not the end of your story
neither mine shall end here,

i ask you to spell a word: atrocities
a word in plural form
which you pronounce so well by enunciating the
'o' in there

nothing is funny now
i stopped laughing since then
i buried my jokes

anticipating that soon we shall bury too
another body
of Jesus Christ, copycats are we and they
survive the mess

they still sit there and judge all of us
for we have not lived the way they envision society

yes people, monkeys still, monkeys eating monkeys,
cannibalism, and yet, what irony is there

they tell us that we are strange,
that we need a rehabilitation, to be put back within the four corners

of their universities, and oh, what a mess
funded by the people.

tell me how can i stop this
poetry of anguish?

Henry Miller

Living apart and at peace with myself, I came to realize more vividly the meaning of the doctrine of acceptance. To refrain from giving advice, to refrain from meddling in the affairs of others, to refrain, even though the motives be the highest, from tampering with another's way of life - so simple, yet so difficult for an active spirit. Hands off

I’m a busy man, I earn as I can

I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
Never bother who created man
I enjoy life as I can
People tell me, Get up early
I sleep late,
So go to hell
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
Somewhere I read,
pray to god
I don’t have any time for that
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
Mother says take care of health
I say most important is wealth
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
Preachers preach,
Never be phony, Live honestly
I say fool as many
Being honest is being lousy
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
My goal is money
Even if have to kill somebody
Life without money
Is bee without honey
I’m a busy man, I earn as I can
I met with an accident
Nobody lent a helping hand
I realized, I was disliked
I thought with all the might
To make life happy
One has to live rightly
Greed is worst for life
With it one can never rise
I’m a changed man
Contentment is my ambition
Now, I never earn as I can

Know that a monkey is on your back

There is a monkey on your back

At any point of time each one of us is carrying a monkey on the back.

Whether you like it or not your thoughts, words and deeds are determined by this very powerful monkey.

This monkey is nothing but a personification of the tasks either
assigned to you or taken up on your own.

The life line of the monkey is the strong desire that you nurse to
accomplish these tasks.

You may not know that you only feed this monkey and make it naughty.

They quality of your feed and its extent depend on your knowledge, attitude and earlier practices.

Often, wittingly or unwittingly we act only to get rid of the monkey.

Unfortunately, if one monkey goes the other is just taking its place.

And you think, talk and act accordingly.

Some wise people, are they really wise, pass on the monkey to some other’s back tactfully, so the monkey is rid off, but still alive. This is what
exactly happens in a work environment.

Know your monkeys and their feeds.

Fail not to feed them in time, as monkeys should be fed or shot to death. Otherwise, they will starve to death, forcing you to conduct postmortem.

Keep monkeys' population below the maximum number you can probably feed.

Feed monkeys only by appointment, otherwise you will be feeding them at odd hours.

Feed monkeys personally, if left to others, they may feed wrong and/or in unacceptable doses.

Each monkey is unique, hence its feed and frequency of feed differs.

No monkey stays long. They know when to leave you as once the monkey is satisfied with your hospitality it jumps off your back.

The new monkey on your back is the task to know whether monkeys are there or not on your back.

THE DANCE (AN EPILEPTICS PRAYER) ...by Talile Ali

IN C
C~G/ C~Am/

I NEVER THOUGHT TOO MUCH ABOUT
THE DANCE AND HOW IT'S PLAYED
THRU OUT MY LIFE, SOME WITH MY WIFE
NOTHING WAS EVER WELL MADE

REFRAIN
F-Am-F-G~C

IT'S THE DANCE
IT'S THE DANCE
NO ROMANCE
NOT A CHANCE

THE DANCE DID INTERUPT ME
IN ALL THE THINGS I CHOOSE
BECAUSE AFTER A WHILE, WHY BOTHER
EVENTUALLY I WILL LOSE

REFRAIN

THE TIMES I WOULD HAVE A SPELL
A EVENTUALLY FADE OUT
NEVER KNOWING IF IT'S MY LAST GOOD BYE
OR JUST A TEMPERARY BOUT

REFRAIN

HOW MANY UNDERSTAND HOW
THIS DANCE WITH LIFE IS TRUE
AND TO WHO HAVE TASTED
WE HAVE THIS POINT OF VIEW

REFRAIN

SO DELIGHT IS SO FLEETING
A JOY IS FOUND WITHIN
THE DANCE FOR EVER OUR DOMAIN
AND DEATH ONE OF THE DANCER'S, MY FRIEND
