The safest and most suitable form of penance seems to be that which causes pain in the flesh but does not penetrate to the bones, that is, which causes suffering but not sickness.

Kindness is the unmatching penance

'O' heart!
Do penance! Do penance!
If you do penance, you can achieve
Whatever you like, in this universe;

Nothing is equal and better than kindness,
Kindness is the unmatchable penance,
People who are kind to everybody
Live for ever gladly and happily'

Sorrow Is Simple

sorrow is as simple as a pin
penetrating a flesh
blood letting from a skin covering

pain is simple
it is in the infliction that
seeps to the marrow of the bone

not the inflection
the accent of the word not the intonation
or even the context of the suffering

sorrow is simple
pain is practical

but somehow to make it more dramatic
here i am
in this poetics

pain is a shark's teeth gnashing
over a slice of my flesh
my legs kicking out of the water

What A Pain

you hurt me
you tell me words i can't ever think of
you, yes, you
you ignored me
when you see me you push me away

you said you don't want me no more
you said you care about me no more
you embarrass me in front of everybody
but why
why are you hurting me
why are you putting me into this
just tell me to walk away

oh what a pain
no need to treat me the way you do
what i'm i supposed to do
stay with you
still love with you
cry for you
begging you to stop
you show me no love
oh what a pain

what do want form me
huh
answer me
after all the pain i went through
you have the gust to tell me you love you

what do you want from me
can't you see the pain i'm suffering because of you
can't you see the tears in my eye
oh what a pain
why - why me
oh god what a pain....

Weakness Is Not A Poem

WEAKNESS IS NOT A POEM

Weakness is not a poem-
Nor is sickness-
Pain too, no poem.
All the suffering
A single human being must endure
No poem.

There is Hell in this world
And some people live it
Every day of their lives.

It is no poem
To see another human being
Suffering.

Pain & Suffering

pain and suffering
turn things to blood
a power floats
upside down in a river of mud
a skull of a goat
makes love to you
you're my doll
a pet who meows
and blood and hate
the blood that's everywhere
suffering, i am terminating this world
i'm your father now
no more shelter, no more fun
human race, you're going to writhe now
heh heh heh heh
i am angry
a tall building fell on daddy
pain and suffering
i am destruction
i am angry
i am total
(growl)
pain and suffering
the pain, the pain
no birds are singing
here comes armageddon
no more shelter
no more fun
human race
i've got you

Without pain, there would be no suffering, without suffering we would never learn from over mistakes. To make it right, pain and suffering is the key to all windows, without it, there is no way of life.

Because You Never Talk to Me...

all that is left of me will be
bones suffering takes the flesh and breaks
the nerves the sad times long
enough shall mellow these
bones into powder decently turning
later into a hundred or more
dusts then you shall
identify with me for dust
too is your final destiny

everything you are shall be dust too
you too shall mellow

now is the best time to talk
in the common ground of our final existence
but it will be too late
the strong wind by then
has blown us all away
scattered specks
lacking the specifics....

Unmistakably Regrettable

Incomprehensible to many!
And inconceivable to most.
Are heartfelt tragedies.
Especially those that unexpectedly catch us.
To bring us to our weeping knees.

Yet from this process,
A connection is missing.
We refuse to admit an implementation.
Done in full consciousness.
To nourish an encouragement.
With allowances that permits it!

And under our noses...
This flourishes.
And under our noses,
This purging surges.

Those who choose delusion,
Over actions and facts that are realistic...
Will always find they are traumatized,
By the honesty of unbearable pain.
Nurtured to grow right before our eyes.

And yet,
We become stunned and quite surprised...
That it is not anesthetically pricked,
Before it sticks.
To dull and sweeten with a slight pinch.

It bites into the flesh.
Not with an anticipated sting.
And enriched,
With a reality it brings.

And this truth,
Does not hesitate to penetrate.
Absent are psychedelic choices hypnotic!
It rips the gut from a comfort known.
Removing itself to expose from disguise!
Before the affects of it is inflicted.
And the moans heard grow as shown.
As many wish the agony within them dies.

This suffering done...
Is unmistakably,
Regrettable.

This suffering done,
Is effective and unforgettable.

Prayer

Another dream that will never come true
Just to compliment your sorrow
Another life that I've taken from you
A gift to add on to your pain and suffering
Another truth you can never believe
Has crippled you completely
All the cries you're beginning to hear
Trapped in your mind

Birds Of Prey...

we keep ending up
back at the Little Big Horn...
victims of our own aggressive greed.
Crazy Horse wept
with the tears of God,
while the birds of prey
picked the flesh from the bones.

you cannot ease your own suffering
by causing suffering to others.
what we do to feed our insatiable mouths
leaves scars on the bottoms of our feet!

freedom doesnt conquer,
righteousness doesnt judge!
equality means everybody,
and i mean everybody!

Dylan said: 'money doesnt talk,
it swears! '... i say money is the disease,
and almost never the cure!

Metaphor

You stole my pure intention
You are the sickness in between
Let me in, I'll bury the pain
You taught me to be sad as you
You almost made me take it all
Let me in I'll bury the pain
You bend me and you shake me
You beg me then you break me
Let me in, I'll bury the pain
You made me feel like a sinner
Now you fear you'll die alone
Let me in, I'll bury the pain
The sickness that you are
A plague that made me starve
Do you think you can show me, how I got this far?
(x2)
I feel it's takin over
And everything falls dark
Break me open,
The desperate cry
The sickness that you are
A plague that made me starve
Do you think you can show me, how I got this far?
(x2)

Have You Ever Felt Pain?

To know what pain is hurts the most
pain is not just a wound in your flesh
pain is a dagger in your heart

To know what pain is hurts the most
pain is a lover slipping away from you
you keep on watching until there is nothing left to do

Pain is a friend who stabed your back
through your flesh into ur heart
and slowly you'll fall part by part

Pain is not just a wound in your flesh
Pain is a dagger in your heart...

Suffering

Why did I have to live through this pain?
A thousand winds blow.
And the demons touture my soul.
Im reaching out.
But all I seem to do is recive hate.

Stop me breathing.
Stop my hart beating.
All I want is out of this.
Im suffering so bad.

My only tempory realese is to cut.
I only want the suffering to end.
It drives me around the bend.

My only answer is to cut.
And do nothing but.
I want out of this pain.
I want my suffering to end

The Safest Place

Thank God that you were by my side..
On a night....
On a night...
Daytime Im fine
Everything is back normal
Last night I thought that I would die
I had nightmares, I was so scared
Thank God that you were by my side
To hold me when I cried
I wanna be strong
But I dont wanna be alone tonight
I wanna believe that I can save the world
And make it right
But I believe that youve got a heros face
Right here in your arms is safest place
The safest place
It feels so real
You showed I could trust you
With emotions I had locked away
It was your touch, your words
They hear deepest part of me
That only you can see
I wanna be strong
But I dont wanna be alone tonight
I wanna believe that I can save the world
And make it right
But I believe that youve got a heros face
Right here in your arms is safest place
As long as Im with you
As long as I can feel you
Thats all I need to keep me going
On and on and on and on....
I wanna believe that I can save the world
And make it right
But I believe that youve got a heros face
Right here in your arms is safest place
Right here in your arms is safest place....
The safest place...
The safest place...

Our Son - Your Son

Oh Lord, what lesson would you teach me now?
As low, beneath this burden I do bow
A heart near breaking, crying out for our son's life
Struggling to surrender and be free from strife.
To see the suffering of one so loved
Helpless, but serene and still
Submitting to the pain that man inflicts
Tears held at bay, one's bosom, terrors fill.
Yours was such a loving Father saw
The nail pierced hands and feet.
Agony etched the sky when you must turn away
No sin to see, borne that day by your son
On rugged Calvary.
Into your hands, we too commend our son!
The safest place he could ever be
As your son commended his own spirit on that day
Knowing, even as you turned away, you loved him still.
And we, though suffering takes its toll
Know full well, your tears do freely flow
Mingling with ours, and all whose painful path is laid
And yet Rejoice, knowing too . . . Sin's debt is Paid!

Isaac Watts

Psalm 6

Complaint in sickness.

In anger, Lord, rebuke me not;
Withdraw the dreadful storm;
Nor let thy fury grow so hot
Against a feeble worm.

My soul's bowed down with heavy cares,
My flesh with pain oppressed;
My couch is witness to my tears,
My tears forbid my rest.

Sorrow and pain wear out my days,
I waste the night with cries,
Counting the minutes as they pass,
Till the slow morning rise.

Shall I be still tormented more?
Mine eye consumed with grief?
How long, my God, how long before
Thine hand afford relief?

He hears when dust and ashes speak,
He pities all our groans;
He saves us for his mercy's sake,
And heals our broken bones.

The virtue of his sovereign word
Restores our fainting breath;
For silent graves praise not the Lord,
Nor is he known in death.

Suffering

Suffering is good
Suffering is bad
It is all that you desire
It is all that you hate
You need it
You thrive for it
It's pain
It's pain
It's joy
It's joy
It's joy to know your alive
It's pain to know!
Die!
Die!
Die pain!
Live!
Live!
Live freedom!
Suffer the joy!

Bonescraper

There is no future for us to suture
Your life ill-fated, beat down and hated
Shot in the head, walking undead
Numb to the world, around your head
Rip my skin from my bone, I won't bleed
Rip my heart from my chest, I won't scream
Hide in the shadows, deep black, and hollow
Empty void of light cuts clean, like a knife
Damaged and torn, punctured by thorns
I've felt nothing since I was born
Rip my skins from my bones, I won't bleed
Rip my heart from my chest, I won't scream
My flesh <-> Your flesh
Your eyes <-> My sight
My pain <-> Your shame
We are the same ...
Rip my skin from my bones, I won't bleed
Rip my heart from my chest, I won't scream
Rip my skin ...

The Ubiquitous Quagmire

Submerged in this quagmire
where only seraphs dare tread,
I struggled without a pursuit
amongst capricious winds

The floor is of flimsy mud
where every lambent step sank,
the tarmac solders the flesh,
the howling wind slices wantonly
and all belying conflagrations present
themselves in sartorial grandiose
in pallid hues of winter

But all these ailing evisceration
in the flesh and bones is engulfed
by a more sublime suffering
as you perpetually reside
incarcerated in the chasms
of my tatterdemalion soul

How do I emerge undefeated
in this cellar of vengeful labyrinths
when I have lost all meaning
and abided to all hoping?

Use And Abuse....

when you are hopeless

when misery is inside all your bones

you become so beautiful and humanity looks
at you with so much pleasure

so much lust
and you give in

you give what is no longer pleasurable to you
for all of them

you are exhausted and dying
they do not mind

they take pleasure in every chunk of your flesh
your eyes dilate

when you die in the middle of that moment
they call it your misfortune

they have nothing to do with you or
your pain

when all your bones fall to the ground
when your lips crack like dried leaf

they leave you
they will hate the place
and look for another.
