Our Son - Your Son

Oh Lord, what lesson would you teach me now?
As low, beneath this burden I do bow
A heart near breaking, crying out for our son's life
Struggling to surrender and be free from strife.
To see the suffering of one so loved
Helpless, but serene and still
Submitting to the pain that man inflicts
Tears held at bay, one's bosom, terrors fill.
Yours was such a loving Father saw
The nail pierced hands and feet.
Agony etched the sky when you must turn away
No sin to see, borne that day by your son
On rugged Calvary.
Into your hands, we too commend our son!
The safest place he could ever be
As your son commended his own spirit on that day
Knowing, even as you turned away, you loved him still.
And we, though suffering takes its toll
Know full well, your tears do freely flow
Mingling with ours, and all whose painful path is laid
And yet Rejoice, knowing too . . . Sin's debt is Paid!

Loss

the loss of a loved one is hard to face
but you know they're in a better place
a place where there is no suffering and no pain
a place where loved ones are all the same.
a place where the angels gather to sing
with every new person that they bring.
for in this kingdom of happiness and joy
and pain does not exist.
sits our god and his beloved son.
he gave up his life so that we could see
what it is to be set free.
of all the suffering that we must go through
just so he could be with you.
so raise your head and look to the sky
for your loved one will be flying high.
their wings will be a beautiful white
and nothing can compare to that beautiful sight.
so put away your tears and grief
and thank the lord up above for his everlasting love.

The storms of Life

Sometimes sad things happen in our life
they flare up suddenly and cause us strife.
The barriers that we put up against the flow
break down in floods of tears and sorrow.

Troubles fall like raindrops pelting down
welling into a flood in which we might drown.
We do our utmost to cope with the strain
but so many hurts cause our soul much pain.

Like in storms the raindrops seem really huge
and they gather into an irresistible deluge.
They test the fortitude of our minds defence
and when they burst through the pain's intense.

As we lay in bed in the early hours of the day
we cannot withstand them to our dismay.
They come crashing in like a forceful torrent
causing tears to flow out of us as we lament.

We cry out in anguish great sobs of sorrow
at the pain that comes as we work them through.
Our hearts despair at the turmoil that they bring
overwhelmed, we feel unable to do anything.

We become less resistant as the years go by
unable to withstand them and we wonder why
our human frailty is being tested to this extent
straining under the weight of our predicament.

We feel the deep hurt and the pain they bring
and would rather live in a world of no suffering.
They add to the burden of each passing day
and we would that they were banished away.

Sorrows well up from deep within our soul
as the anguish and suffering takes it toll.
It reminds us of the great 'Man of Sorrows'
who feels all our heartache, pains and woes.

'Come to me Oh weary one' Jesus said
'lay down your burdens at my feet instead.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light
you'll find rest for you soul, it will be alright.'

We rise up from our bed of pain and gloom
and find our way to that blessed upper room.
There we sit at the feet of the Lord and cry out
wondering what these sufferings are all about.

We lay our burdens down at His feet there
knowing He understands, we rest in His care.
Then we pour out our soul and to Him reveal
the deep sorrow and the sadness that we feel.

The storm subsides and the sorrows cease
as He brings to our soul that heavenly peace
and the healing balm that only He can bring
permeates into the depths of our inner being.

We feel Him lifting us out of our despair
as we rest in the sanctity of His presence there.
We look up and gaze into His wonderful face
and feel deep healing of our soul taking place.

His arms enfold us in His love and we can sense
the preciousness of His wonderful presence.
We rest awhile held in His loving embrace
as peace returns and deep healing takes place.

The sorrows of the world will always be here
they dog our steps and will not just disappear.
But with the Lord these troubles do not defeat
because we can lay them there at His blessed feet.

But this earthly life we live will not always be
and a time will come when our soul is set free.
And in that heavenly kingdom where Christ reigns
God Himself will remove our tears and pains.

No death, no sorrow and no pain shall endure
and these earthly sorrows will plaque us no more.
They will be replaced by heavenly joy and love
as we stand in the presence of our Lord above.

In Christ, Receive

When in Jesus Christ you believe, Salvation from God you receive,
Saving you from a fallen race, through, The Lord’s Amazing Grace.
A Salvation, complete and free, one paid in full, by God at Calvary,
It was paid through God’s Son, who paid the full cost for everyone.

When you submit to God’s Son, you’ll receive in Him true freedom,
Christ will not lord over you, but be with you this whole life through.
A trusting soul He’ll not forsake, but He’ll remain, make no mistake,
Christ will stay right by your side, as your Lord and a trusted guide.

When God’s Son you come to know, a peace inside begins to flow,
As you are sealed with a guarantee; with The Holy Spirit for Eternity.
The One who will change your ways, as He fills your day with praise,
Knowing that you’ve just begun, to reap blessings, from God’s Son.

When you make Christ your Lord, on-going joy shall be your reward,
As you allow Jesus Christ to reign, your life shall never be the same.
Christ will replace pain and strife, with untold joy through all your life,
Filling your heart with His peace, which from His Spirit will not cease.

Just what do you have to lose, if His Salvation you should choose?
As you’re freed from a sinful life, by The Lord alone in Jesus Christ,
Filling you with the peace of God, as Christ leads with staff and rod,
To an Eternal Place up above, prepared for us by our Savior’s Love.

Mercy on me

My body now worn and riddled with pain

FATHER have mercy on me, LORD have mercy on me

Your hand on my life even before my first breath

FATHER of my life, LORD of the wholeness of my life

My life entirely in Your hands

I do not question why my suffering

FATHER Your healing hands on me, LORD Your healing hands on me

My faith and trust in You always

FATHER the author of my being, LORD Your grace upon me

No blame, my life is in You

Your Grace keeps me from long lonely nights

FATHER Your presence comforts me, LORD Your peace in me

Loneliness will never defeat me

FATHER of everlasting love, LORD Your sacrifice in love

Humbled, I surrender to You

Though my breathing becomes harder

FATHER Your breath in me, Lord Your life in me

My eyes become dim, and life escapes me

FATHER, the giver of life, LORD, the healer of my being

Your healing in me, now and forever

My Times Are In His Hands

All my times are in the hands of the only true Mighty Sovereign God,
And He is by my side every day, and goes with me every where I trod.

Each day He allows me to choose the very path I would like to take,
But every day He faithfully directs each and every step that I make.

When my choice leads me to follow people down a path that is wrong,
He will very gently guide me away from what could be an evil throng.

When something happens in my life that I simply can not understand,
I just look up to The Lord in prayer, and He take's me by the hand.

When my life for no reason seems to go through unpredictable stages,
The Spirit will gently lead my thoughts to The Rock of All the Ages.

When my life seems to be so uncertain, and I wonder why I am here,
The Lord whispers “I lead you this far so you needn't have to fear.”

When my life takes a turn and I wonder to The Lord where am I going?
The Spirit again reminds me, that my Lord is one who is all knowing.

When by my own choice, I follow my fleshly lusts and begin to stray,
My Father's loving compassion always leads me back to the Only Way.

Even though the choice I make brings into my life a dark aftermath,
The Lord will shine His light down upon me, to guide me on my path.

Finally, when The Lord takes me home, that bright and glorious day,
I will look back upon my life and see He truly lead me all the way.

Blood on your hands sister

You said you loved him told him you cared
Promised him forever together
Instead you broke his heart into countless pieces
You drew tears of blood from the Prince of hearts
Hurt his pride with your insolent words
Blood on your hands sister
Blood on your hands

I saw the pain in his eyes
I felt the bitter tears that he cried
Kicked a man when he was down
You left him a broken man
Blood on your hands sister
Blood on your hands

From a loving giving sensitive Prince amongst men
You took your pleasure and stifled his laughter
You took your fill and threw him upon the scrapheap
Blood on your hands sister
Blood on your hands

But his precious tears are wasted
Wasted on a dry barren heart like yours
For his heart is alive and flourishing
Whilst yours is dead and lifeless
He is the victor
Whilst you the loser

You may wash your hands of him
But the stains will never fade
Blood on your hands sister
Blood on your hands

Dreams Of A Child

I was just a kid
In love with you

I couldn't sleep
For thinking of you

You never hurt me
You never sent me away
You always loved me
In your own special way

I was a child in madness
Violence and sadness
But you showed me the way
To love one day

I thought I loved you
I thought you loved me
I guess it was
Just the tears of a child
Wanting to be loved

When I laid in bed at night
And heard the pain
Of my mothers plight
I'd close my eyes
And think of you

You never hurt me
You never sent me away
You always loved me
In your own special way

Dreams of a child
Turn into nightmares of a man
Making me want to end
This life of hell

But then I think of you
And the dreams I had of you
And decide to stay another day

Childhood memories lost
Except for the ones
Of knowing you

You never hurt me
You never sent me away
You always loved me
In your own special way

When I lie down and die
I will always know

I at least loved once

Just For You

Golden days life was playing
Pain was all a world away
We went to school
We learned the rules
We trusted all they had to say
Then life took a turn we all had to learn
And we cant go back again
That my heart is breaking
Just for you just for you
And my arms are open
Just for you just for you
Just for you
God was god dreams where dreams
Life was all weekend ice-cream
Truth was true and lies where lies
And we thought that love would never die
But the world moved on my illusions gone
And I dont know who to blame
And my heart is breaking
Just for you just for you
And my arms are open
Just for you just for you
And these tears Im crying
Are for you just for you
Just for you
Im looking for protection
Give me shelter from the storm
I just hope this light inside me
Keeps me strong
Oh
That my heart is breaking
Just for you just for you
And my arms theyre open
Just for you just for you
And these tears Im crying
Are for you just for you
Just for you just for you
Oh these tears Im crying
Im just for you
Oh I feel like crying
Just for you
Oh my heart is breaking
And my arms are open
Oh these tears Im crying
There just for you
Oh just for you
Cant you see Im crying?
Just for you
Oh yeah

The Lord, my God was crucified

"My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? "
You cried as You suffered in deep agony.
The unity of the Godhead divided
as atonement for my sin was provided.

There, "Father forgive them, " from the cross You cried
words of intercession from The Crucified
and for my sins You paid that awful price
by Your death upon the cross and sacrifice.

"Into Your hands I commend My soul, " You said
closed Your eyes and entered the realms of the dead.
Your love in all its fullness flowed out to me
Lord, when You laid down Your life at Calvary.

Just let Go

I knew of torment once
so long ago, was that me back then
suffering in pain, I was forced to do things
I could never remember
I was forced to be someone
outside of my own
I don’t like to say
or remember back then
how it hurt me to even just breath
the agony you feel the pain unreal
how can a child bear witness
to this torment and pain
to be torn into two
like a rag doll of old
the memories are real
they made me a women of today
but to block out the terror
the screams and hands
that lay waste to my soul
its more than I can bare
its more than I can say
how to make you understand
the innocence of a child
taken from them without remorse
without regret and the child not knowing
she was too young to know
of the horrors drawn from her that day
not understanding she would live
she would breath only to live her life
like a zombie instead
but the torture of living
and breathing each day
was something she learned
alone in the dark never really knowing
all she had to do was reach out and touch
loved ones and friends
So where do you say
you know agony and pain
have you lived through a year
of torture and pain
Have you been held so tight
you can’t breathe you can’t move
you move to your left your crushed real tight
you move to your right your crushed tighter still
then a hand covers mouth
stopping you to scream or shout
then hear every day don’t tell or be dead
I’ve walked away from this memory of old
and I've learnt to be strong
and just let it go

nothing is so heartbreaking than
the loss of a devoted and loving

I know how pain full it is to lose
such a loyal family member and a
friend.

Only time will ease the griefl

I hope you take comfort in knowing
that your loved one is in animal

Prayer In Time Of War

Now Death is near, and very near,
In this wild whirl of horror and fear,
When round the vessel of our State
Roll the great mountain waves of hate.
God! We have but one prayer to-day -
O Father, teach us how to pray.

For prayer is strong, and very strong;
But we have turned from Thee so long
To follow gods that have no power
Save in the safe and sordid hour,
That to Thy feet we have lost the way . . .
O Father, teach us how to pray.

We have done ill, and very ill,
Set up our will against Thy will.
That our soft lives might gorge, full-fed,
We stole our brothers' daily bread.
Lord, we are sorry we went astray -
O Father, teach us how to pray.

Now in this hour of desperate strife
For England's life, her very life,
Teach us to pray that life may be
A new life, beautiful to Thee,
And in Thy hands that life to lay.
O Father, teach us how to pray.

Knowing Your Perimeters

knowing your perimeters is not an easy job,
not really expensive, but it takes the mind of the pensive man,
the wiles of the wise and the wit of the wounded

who am i? where am I? what am i?
where am i heeded? where i will stop?
what can i do? what i cannot do?

knowing the length of your arms and feet
the distance of your vision
and knowing what you can touch and
see, and knowing what you cannot
even touch and see no matter how
wide you open your eyes

knowing your place, your fences, the limits
of your garden, the source of your water,
your air, your food, the quiet imagination

knowing what you can give and you can hold,
knowing what you can let go
and what you must keep in your heart forever

knowing the limits of your mind
the stretch of your hands, the number of times that
you can blink your eye,
the right time to fear and the right time to kill
the right time to love and the right time to hate
or just be the foolish man who is so indifferent

i know my limits and i mark my boundaries.
please do not go any further. i am just staying
within the bounds of my hands and feet.
i am seeing you and i am warning you.

i have this detonator. My finger is ready.

Psalm 26

Lord I have loved the habitation of your house
And the place where your glory rests
Try my mind oh Lord and examine my heart
For you are the God that tests

Do not gather my soul with sinners
Nor with Pharisees and scribes
Deliver me Lord from blood thirsty men
Whose right hands are full of bribes

For I will bless you in the congregation
And rejoice in your mercy and grace
I will come before your holy throne
And rejoice that I stand in this place

Mama Mary the wishing mother

your name echo to the outmost deepest soul
in pour heart remembered the pain and suffering
of a mother waiting her son to die, in a most
cruel form of death in the human history, walking
in the Calvary carrying the pole that stand and
witness by thousand of men and million of angels
in heaven

as the prophet prophesied, Jesus the Christ
will die in witness to the living God that beyond our
human lives, someone is the Father, Allah, the
Adonia, the source of everything that created in the
universe, the giver the compassionate healer of
life we breath

a mother and a consoler of a son, is not only
physical, emotional psychological and self
castration, but a inner self rejection of life, deep that
only our soul can feel the tremendous sacred blade
of sorrow, and the scars it takes would be through
eternity

leaving the wound of her soul of Mama Mary,
brings the immortality of memories of her soul until
forever, this pain is always be remembered every
moment when each soul is rejected to the path of
holiness, her constant wish is that every tears
wishes the faithful children, to be with her in the
right highway of sacredness

the tears and the wish to be in the paradise is
always open, for Mama Mary with open heart and
hands will leads us to eternity, where each one of
her children will be with her in the place, where the
Father prepare for us.

Here Lies the Heart

Mark where lies the heart that loved you
In gravestone covered tomb of pain
Where night's eternal slumber will undo
The past affections washed in rain.

Silenced now from beats of passion
Deserted loneliness made still
Alone in hidden devastation
The heart that loved against its will.

Where now the vows that it had held?
Hopes that nurtured it in life?
Promises were dreams beheld
That killed its beat as with a knife.

Gone are the tears that now decayed
In mournful sighing deathly laid
Gone purpose, reason, intents prayed
The heart that loved you dearly paid.

Thorns

A deep dark ocean swallowed

her dreams, a black rose with

thorns pinched again and

again the edge of her wounds.

And vivid cuts adorned her like

a perfect crying frame, decorating

her heart with only suffering sights.

Shadows of dark clouds follow

constantly by the mist in her eyes.

Path conceal with her own grief,

and not knowing where the roaming

spirits guide her, or where the star's

point out a path taking her through.

She stumble, she mourns, and she

drops her fighting sword to the

ground. She surrender's to the damage

of pain and woe, her eyelids bleed

and exhaust her, tears are dry, not

much to pour, they can't even blink

anymore. Deal with despair- no

longer aware of many more days

to compare.

The Pain Of Loving You (feat. Dolly Parton & Linda Ronstadt)

(Dolly Parton - Porter Wagoner)
Oh, the pain of loving you
Oh, the mis'ry I go through
Never knowing what to do
Oh, the pain of loving you.
You just can't stand to see me happy
Seems you hurt me all you can
Still I go on loving you
But I'll never understand.
Oh, the pain of loving you
Oh, the mis'ry I go through
Never knowing what to do
Oh, the pain of loving you.
--- Instrumental ---
To love and hate at the same time
The line between the two is fine
But too has bound me heart and soul
So strong that I can't let you go.
Oh, the pain of loving you
Oh, the mis'ry I go through
Never knowing what to do
Oh, the pain of loving you.
Oh, the pain of loving you...

Our Hands

My hands once warm,
And clothed in yours,
my hands once full,
and held in yours.

Empty hands,
Cold hands,
my hands have lost their,
Partner as you once were for me,

Your hands at once rough,
and soft,
Always gentle when in mine,
our hands would meet to fill the cold,

My hands now empty cover tears,
my hands once warm now with
a freezing touch,
your hands are gone,
the warmth they held has left,
these hands of mine.
