I never had any question that my parents loved me. I had a real sense of self confidence.

You would have to say his number one accomplishment has been to inspire a sense of confidence in the country. That confidence, that optimism, not only gives President Obama a political cushion, but it could have a real world economic impact.

Krwlng (Mike Shinoda Feat. Aaron Lewis)
Crawling in my skin
Without a sense of confidence
Consuming, confusing
Crawling in my skin
Without a sense of confidence I'm convinced that there's just too much prssure too take
There's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface
[Aaron]
Crawling in my skin
These wounds, they will not heal
Fear is how I fall
Confusing what is real
[Chester]
There's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface
Consuming, confusing
This lack of self control I fear is never ending
Controlling
I can't seem
To find myself again
My walls are closing in
(Without a sense of confidence Im convinced that theres just too much pressure to take)
I've felt this way before
So insecure
[Aaron and Chester]
Crawling In my skin
These wounds, they will not heal
Fear is how I fall
Confusing what is real
Discomfort, endlessly has pulled itself upon me
Distracting, reacting
Against my will I stand beside my own reflectionIt's haunting how I can't seem...
To find myself again
My walls are closing in
(Without a sense of confidence Im convinced that theres just too much pressure to take)
I've felt this way before
So insecure
Without a sense of confidence i'm convinced that theres just too much pressure to take (2x)
Cant seem to find myself again my walls are closing in..
Without a sense of confidence I'm convinced that theres just too much pressure to take
Ive felt this way before so insecure..

A Poem of Ruminations
I was confidence personified
I was fire that can't be put off
I also had this thirst, unquenchable
You see, like every other, I too
Was engaged in those feelings
All because you loved me
Ah, the confidence
That love can instill!
What I was made to believe
All because you loved me
Now, I chew the cud off
The stuff ruminations
Are made of!
All because you once loved me

Confidence | Words of Wisdom
Don’t mistake power for confidence
You’ll never never like how it ends
Take your stance and understand
Confidence is the greatest tool
Confidence is power that’s my first rule
Now weapons aren’t that sharp even from the start
But confidence is evident etched with in your brain
Confidence is sharper than any razor blade
Individuality is a packaged deal
You’ve got to trust yourself and know yourself for real
Now trying to control ain’t gonna work
Power is a tool that’s broke
Too much effort, too much mess,
Leaving a trail of broken heart and broken glass
So there’s my proof I say it with confidence

The artificial and the real
In this world, the artificial and the
Real mix, and sometimes it is hard
To distinguish one from the other,
So here is the gauge:
The artificial man does not bleed,
The real man does,
The real man is not afraid to love,
The artificial does not
The real flower has a dew and
Can be torn apart and gives off a scent
The artificial flower gives a blank
Stare at you
And there is no question thrown
Away
The plastic, the wax, the foam,
The flesh, the blood, the sweat,
The dust, the stiffness, the wires
The feeling, the softness, the veins
But you must beware, I may feel you
And you may feel me, but I can still
Be not real, but artificial in some subtle
Sense, in some secret ways, so what is
The real gauge this time? It is just you,
Be real yourself, and let them be, whatever.

Reasons For My Depression
REASONS FOR MY DEPRESSION
I know this weight this inertia
I know this sense of being drawn down
I know this feeling that nothing can be done
That I can do nothing
I know this sense of threat
A war might come and the enemy missiles make our cities burn
My loved ones might be in danger
I know this fear of being abandoned
Of our people facing another disaster
Wandering in homelessness
I know this feeling of being able to go nowhere
I know this feeling of never being able to get out of it
I know the tiredness and the indifference
I know my sense that I have wasted my life and work is not worth anything
The taxman is coming
The money is running out
There are more unanticipated expenses
When I just do not have it
I have already spent more this month than I should have
My clothes are old and worn
So much about me is so shabby
I do not like other parents and grandparents
Have the money to really be of help
There are so many unfixed broken things in the house
That I should have fixed long ago
I have chronic pain now as never before
The blood pressure the prostate
Will I ever get out of it? I have not been able to yet
I have so many health problems now
Is the skin discoloration cancer?
We may have a visitor who is lost himself and needs help
I do not know how to give
How much of my time will he take?
I do not have the patience for anyone or anything
Please don't bother me but I can't get out of this myself
My wife is disappointed with me
My wife is not that well and I worry about her health
I worry about my children so much I undermine their confidence
So many of our friends are sick and dying
I am already old and only getting older
The next stage is the walker the wheelchair
Will I be surprised and have a stroke
And become the worst kind of burden?
I remember my mother eight years in a wheelchair unable to speak,
We all die and I have not bought a gravesite yet
I am older than I ever pictured myself as being
So many hate us on the basis of their own bigotry stupidity ignorance
there are so many bad people in the world
there is so much hatred
there are so many reasons for despair
there is no end of reasons
I can go on and on and on
The question is not why I despair
But how do I manage most of the time not to?

To Amuse At The Expense Of Wasted Time
Would these be betting odds,
That an asking of someone...
Who has done something in their life,
For more than 'sixty years'.
And approached to be questioned,
What they have been doing...
Since they were last seen ten years ago?
And that question has been asked,
By that same person rerpeatedly.
And the response is known.
What would be the likely odds,
That the person asked the question...
Would 'not' be doing,
What has become an obvious love...
For what that person does.
Should the one asking that same question,
Take a gamble and ask another question...
That would initiate a conversation,
Expressing a real interest?
And not just say the same thing to re-tread.
I maybe wrong about this,
But...
Leaving the person feeling a sense of being appreciated,
Would probably reveal a human being existing.
Instead of a novelty to amuse at the expense of wasted time.

I've inherited a sense of that loss from my parents because it was so palpable all the time while I was growing up, the sense of what my parents had sacrificed in moving to the United States, and yet at the same time, building a life here and all that that entailed.

When will I be Loved
I’m in my late thirties now and in all these years I have never felt loved.
Which has me now asking the question when will I be loved?
Will I be loved before all my hair turns completely grey?
Will I be loved before the sun sets this very day?
When will I be loved?
Will I be loved while I can still remember what love means?
Will I be loved tonight while I dream?
When will I be loved?
At times love has seemed close enough that I could reach out and grab it, but as I reached I realized love was not as close as it seemed.
Love is my white whale and just like Ahab the chase is driving me mad.
When will I be loved?
The monitors indicated that it was a credible election, I think, in an overall sense, it apparently is a free and fair election, so it's a real milestone and one of the things we can take some little confidence in.

Kidnapped Child
Though they are with you
Yet....they're alone
Frightened and longing
For surroundings they've known
....Send them on home
To loved ones awaiting
Loved ones......deprived
Of an answer to the question
...'Is my child alive'
....Send them on home
'Cause time is still dragging
...Seconds.......seem years
Siblings and parents
...Living...the tears
Send them on home
.....To the happiness
And laughter..once they knew
If there is any decency
....Left ever..........in you
..............Then..
Send them on home

The real confidence
Confidence that comes
With hope, faith and belief
Is conditional.
It musters strength but
Cannot ensure success.
Real confidence comes
Through one’s discovery.

Chicken Bones
Never really got you cos hes always on his own
Never really got you because, ooh, you never loved him
Better write a letter cos hes always on the phone
Better write a letter cos, ooh, you never loved Im enough
You never loved him enough
Never loved him enough
Never loved him enough
He knows that hes pathetic as he stares out the window
Not peripatetic, he doesnt move a muscle
? drives an instamatic? , says she tell him real slow
He never really got it cos you never gave him enough
Never given him enough
Never given him enough
Never given him enough
Theres no fun in walking wounded, hes never loved
He wears a pained expression as hes takin off your clothes
Its only an impression of how you should have loved him
Step into the gutter cos you find him so shallow
He was the main attraction but turned back to yellow
This wouldnt be the lyrics if this was a song
You never will forget it cos, ooh, you never loved him enough
No, you never loved him enough
Never loved him enough
Never loved him enough
Never loved him enough

Confidence
(words & music by tepper - bennett)
When everyone thought the world was flat
Columbus said its round
He went down in history
And america was found
cause
He had confidence
A little thing called confidence
Theres no job too immense when youve got
Confidence
With a c and an o and an n and an f
And an I and a d and an ence
Put em all together and what have you got
Confidence
Youll be surprised what you can do
If you will only try
Remember the tortoise and the hare
Who had that famous race
The speedy hare wound up nowhere
And slow poke took first place
cause
He had confidence
A little thing called confidence
Theres no job too immense when youve got
Confidence
Youll be surprised what you can do
If you will only try
How do you know that you cant ride a rainbow in the sky
Youll be surprised what you can do
If you will only try
All you need is confidence
A little thing called confidence
Theres no job too immense when youve got
Confidence
With a c and an o and an n and an f
And an I and a d and an ence
Put em all together and what have you got
Confidence
Confi ..... confi .... confidence

Self Confidence.
Do we have self confidence or not?
That is a big question what we all got.
Self confidence is if we do not get excited
When anyone criticizes us or our behavior falsely translated.
Sureness in ourselves comes after many false accusation,
Or some bully wants to use us as a pincushion.
Many of us wakes up from being stepped on,
Sooner or later we learn and get out our self made Babylon.
So, let us go ahead in this life and face all what comes,
Eventually we learn and get out of our bumps.
We will stand up, face everyone with dignity,
Nobody will put the bag on us anymore for eternity.
Self confidence is when we know we are a child of the Universe,
Have kindness & understanding to others in our travels.
Have respect to all people and all living being,
Then we get it back multiplied from every sibling.

Who Must Take Care of Old-aged Parents?
Which child will care for parents when old-aged?
Which child will show compassion and respect?
Which child will find the time to talk kind words?
Which child reciprocates their affection?
Gone are the days of joint family system!
Gone is the sense of values in people!
Gone are the times when blood was quite thicker!
Gone with the wind is honouring parents!
Have parents not showered love on children?
Have they not slogged to give them life's comforts?
Have they not nursed them whenev'r they fell ill?
Have they not done their duties to their kids?
The world today is selfish to the core;
Children just want the wealth of parents old;
None volunteer to tend to old parents;
Children show scarce love to their parents dear!
What has then come upon children today?
Who should take care of parents, elderly?
Should not one's children take care of parents?
Much love seems lost in families these days!
