To Amuse At The Expense Of Wasted Time
Would these be betting odds,
That an asking of someone...
Who has done something in their life,
For more than 'sixty years'.
And approached to be questioned,
What they have been doing...
Since they were last seen ten years ago?
And that question has been asked,
By that same person rerpeatedly.
And the response is known.
What would be the likely odds,
That the person asked the question...
Would 'not' be doing,
What has become an obvious love...
For what that person does.
Should the one asking that same question,
Take a gamble and ask another question...
That would initiate a conversation,
Expressing a real interest?
And not just say the same thing to re-tread.
I maybe wrong about this,
But...
Leaving the person feeling a sense of being appreciated,
Would probably reveal a human being existing.
Instead of a novelty to amuse at the expense of wasted time.

In my early professionals years I was asking the question: How can I treat, or cure, or change this person? Now I would phrase the question in this way: How can I provide a relationship which this person may use for his own personal growth?

Am I not a person?
Am I not a person?
It would appear.
That im not a person.
Not quite human.
More like a zombie so to say.
Am I not a person?
That is the question.
Im not a person.
Not quite human.
An emotionless wrekage.
Within the walls of brakeage.
Am I not quite a person?
Im not quite humane.
Not quite the person.
I once used to be.
Am I a person?
Or just a big mess.
And a sorry excuse
For a person?
Im not quite a person.
This I do now no.
Im more like a zombie.
Am I not quite a person.
Nope Im not.
I just one sad sorry mess.
A zombie of my formerself.
Just a sad sorry mess.
And a pethetic excuse
For a life.

I Like the Odds
Hmmm...
Interesting question.
How can I assist,
In keeping 'your' way of life
From slipping through your fingers?
Good question!
Well...
You did say something,
That was key to your dilemma.
It is 'your' way of life,
Right?
If it was mine...
You would have wasted no time,
Pulling the plug!
Believing that action
Would not mire you in sludge!
I tell you what!
I will not budge.
Instead...
I'd rather observe how your way of life changes.
Maybe there will be a lesson in it for me!
I like the odds.
And it is worth the gamble...
To see you scramble without thinking,
Of me as competition!
Either way...
There is nothing for me to lose.
I am already grateful,
I am not wishing to walk in your shoes!
Does that provide you with a little hint?
Or perhaps reveal my response to you,
With a clue to use?
Your way of life...
Has never included my wellbeing too!
Now has it?
And I regard you now,
As a hazard I am not willing to risk to take.
I pride my consciousness that is at stake!

Enjoy Your Day
You approached me to ask a question.
And taking my time to listen...
With a response I had hoped,
You would comprehend.
Not only did you not do that.
But you edited my answer...
To 'insert' what you thought,
For you did not offend.
Now you accuse me of not being direct.
You say my answer,
For you is not effective.
You inject words connected to my response,
To something you rather accept.
And I hear your attempts,
To try to comvince others...
What it is I really meant!
'Why are you leaving? '
You asked me a question.
I answered it.
Now I take my exit.
To that do you also object?
'But I think your response,
Should be open to debate.'
First of all...
You approached me.
And the time given...
I did not hesitate.
You wanted to hear something you formulate.
Something in your mind you hoped I would find.
And I'm not wasting any more of my time...
To play a game of ping pong,
With someone who has yet to learn...
The reason or the effective use of the paddle.
And besides,
If I did decide to play...
It would be with someone,
Who had something meaningful to say.
And all you wish to do is to occupy space,
In the hopes someone will come forward...
To assist you in the use of it!
'Don't you think your point of view is a bit arrogant? '
That depends!
Is that your second question?
Or should I be seeking your permission to leave?
And neither question,
Do I seek from you an answer.
But I will give you the benefit...
To decide for yourself,
Which one eventually applies!
How is that?
Enjoy your day.
'You will not be asked back here again! '
Was I not already here when you entered?
Again...
Enjoy your day!

His Answer To My Question Was A Question
His answer to my question
Was a question
My answer to his reply
Was returned
With another question
The game of
Answering and asking
Questions
Did not end
Till I questioned
The very motive
Of our conversation
We came to the conclusion
How to pass time?
Was the biggest question
Asking questions
And creating confusion
Was the answer
So we passed our time
Asking and answering questions
The question now is
Whether we did right or wrong?
The answer is
Why ask a useless question?

A Person's Worth Is Invaluable
A person's worth,
Isn't in their ability...
To obtain worldly possessions.
Or in the quality of them.
Can that person nourish others,
With encouragement?
Can that person be a true friend...
When the time for being one,
Shows what kind of skin...
That person 'is'
And exposes from within.
Being able to spend cash,
And make a quick dash on trips...
Or do a name dropping of notables,
Doesn't mean a thing...
If a person is negligent,
To extend heartfelt feelings...
Not too many can express or mention.
A person's worth is invaluable,
When a genuineness appears...
To surface time and again.
And that is proven to be dependable,
Without a doubt or a need to question.
Can that person nourish others,
With encouragement that does not end?
A person's worth will unearth,
Who and what comes first...
Regardless of those impressions made,
Someday that will fade...
Long after established ties with others,
Have remained to stay!

To Love Or Not To Love
To Love Or Not To Love
That is the question
Should or shouldn't we
To know love
To be love
You've got to feel love
You've got to know
When your in love
Or not
Do you know how it fills
To be in love
You've got to feel it
It feels so good to be in love
Your head rushes
Your heart beats
A million beats a minute
You can't stand it
When you have to be away
From him/ her for long periods of time
You think about him/ her 24/7
You dream about him/ her
You day dream about him/ her
To love or not to love
To love you've got to know
The risk of what happens
After you love
Not to love you've got to know
That this is really what you want
To feel love you've got to be love
You've got to love him your self
That is why
To love or not to love
Is and has always been
The main question of loving
This is why most people love
Know that they know every thing
About the person and the risks
This is why we love
Because we love him/ her
This is why we don't love
You don't know the person that well
Love and be happy
Or
Not love and be misserble
So I love
Just like others should too

Thousand Fold
(j. buckley)
I have no desire to make contact with all the thought of no, no.
I shiver now, to think of how this answer asked her, no.
Long time gone.
I run to my hide out.
There aint a star born that brightens
More than you, you always should have known,
Ill illuminate your question,
Long time ago Id died and gone.
What has brought the question?
Time has brought the question.
Come and call the question, oh, oh, oh.
Here are the stars, same thing again
Over, over, over, over, over, over
Over, over, over, over, over, over.

Anger.... what does it mean to me?
Anger isn't just a feeling, an emotion to detain. Anger is an action that desires the true intentions to burst forth from their towers and let be to roam about for it's own destiny. An action so precise that it with holds the power of concept of it's own imagination to soar. An action so horrid that an army has to refrian it's actions to stop before and 'accident' must occur. But is it an accident? If you purposely try to harm the uninnocent, and morely to the innocent, is it still just an accident? There are two sides to this question..................
Yes, because anger can build up for almost an entire life but one day it will break free and sometimes at the wrong person atthe wrong time in front of the wrong people. These accidents can come out completely wrong and then you are left ashamed and wit-minded. Whomever pushes the buttoms of a very ppeaceful person is only asking for trouble so therefore, no one expects any one to sit in a corner and take all of the stress with out acting out. It is just unsafe and unhealthy to the person itself!
And no it is not an accident because most people can control their temper, it just depends on te person and the moment it takes place in and the amount of anger excluded. The human temper is short, but once you go that short distance, you can sometimes hold out for awile longer. And once you notice that your temper level is getting too high, you tend to act on it by doing something regretful towards either the person causing the anger or the wrong person in general.
So anger is just more than that of an emothion, it is a feeling and an action. It only goes soul deep.......

Think About It
Think about it.
Is it really fair,
That anyone declared intelligent...
Should assume those not given that designation,
Are amongst those ignorant?
And should at all cost,
Be avoided?
And...
To that,
Your response would be?
Are you giving the question I asked,
More time to ponder?
Comeon.
Why are you looking at me,
Suspiciously?
Why are you backing away from me?
It's just a simple question.
Hey?
Hey?
You don't have to run away.
It's not my survey.
What is it you hide,
And try to protect?
HEY?
Some people today,
Get highly defensive...
By anyone attempting to communicate.
It's not like I asked anything to offend,
Intentionally.

God Notes
i believe God is both
male and female, and neither!
both human, and spirit...
beyond our conceptual thoughts.
person, non person, creator,
and created. the image of
the life force we just cant
seem to see in ourselves, and
in others. both the question,
and the answer, enlightenment
and compassion.... the need,
and the food, the light, and
the darkness from whence it came.
the cry of humanity for understanding,
and what we would see if we stood
naked in front of a mirror!
both the path, and the feet...
and the revelation of human destiny!

Only person
I am the only person
Responsible here.
Only person wellknown in the market
Only person to love
Only person to show life with open eyes.
The life is an empty vessel
The life you like and
If you like you can puton
Anything you like
If you like you can putoff
All your programme
And held me responsible
For all lapses committed by you.
I am the person
The only person
Who is yours
Only yours
Only person
The only person.

Why Bother to Ask the Question
Why is it,
Whenever I hear someone say...
'I don't care.'
I become aware that person has compassion?
'And...
What? '
What are you talking about, 'And what? '
I am asking you a question.
'How can you ask me that question,
When I wasn't there to hear?
And on a scale from one to ten...
How was that compassion you became aware of,
Felt?
Was it an eight?
Was it a five?
Was it a nine?
Do you know?
And if you do...
Why bother to ask the question! '
One day I am going to discover,
You are no longer in my mind.
And I am going to find myself a lot happier.
'And I wont?
Is that what you're saying?
Is that your implication?
If it is I can leave right now.
'Cause I don't need your cheese,
To spread on my biscuit.'

Change
The other day I walked accross the street
i couldnt believe what I appeared to see...
as I looked at a poor boy who came to me
I asked him his name and he didnt know
he just asked me for change.
I asked where is your mum?
he just asked me for change
I asked where is your dad?
he just asked me for change
I asked will someone come?
he just asked me for change
I asked why are you sad?
with no response to my question there was a pause...
but then once again he asked me for change
see, as i watched him dissapear with his pain
I realised that he actualy asked me...
for a change.

When I was asked what my favorite body part was?
When I was asked what my favorite body part is?
It was not the kind of question
I get asked every day
When I mentioned
this question to my friends
they all thought for a second
and laughed…
so I thought I would
ask those close to me what they thought
someone said the soft tissue
on my hand between my thumb
and second finger
it has no known use
but it is a soft place to hide feelings
and provides a hook to hold on too…
someone else said my hands
because they are able to express
what I am feeling inside
and my hands are what I use to write
down my poetry
another person told me
it was my tongue
that is able to pierce the space
between her mouth
with my warmth
for me I think
it is my smile
which is often the first thing
they notice when they see me.
and when I saw another wrestling dad
in Minnesota at a wrestling tournament
a week after his daughter died
he said he was glad he did not stay home
but support the team, because his daughter was
the team manager
and he was happy to see me
because he said
my smile reminded him
of his daughter, who was always happy
and smiling

A lot of people have this strategy where if they have a hard question they wait to ask it to the end of the interview because they think the person is going to walk out. But what they have to realize is, is that if the person walks out, they have a pretty successful story.
