There is a deep question whether the possible meanings that emerge from an effort to explain the experience of art may not mask the real meanings of a work of art.

Inner Meanings
INNER MEANINGS
Refined the mind which seeks to find
inner meanings for the world,
open links as, onwards whirled,
fresh horizons unconfined
are rediscovered. Truth behind
all veils is, like a flag unfurled,
experience intense. Uncurled,
self finds self, Way redefined,
on track for metamorphosis
conjugating “hope” and “is”...

Art does not 'mean' anything
..or else conceived or imagined be
try as well hard a place to hide
from those insisting the meanings there are
the meanings there meanings be must at least
conceived or imagined be
so you want to know what a poem means
so you want to see that the art is sense
of x is y I take eye for an eye
for too often outwritten by art
I can say art does not 'mean' anything
because it's all

Ocean Size
Yeah ah, Yeah
Yeah ah, yeah
I never wanted
I never needed anything but you
Or any dreams come true
I never wished for
I never asked for all your little games
Or all your guilted shame
Now you're acting like you just don't care
Like you could find this one anywhere
It isn't fair
My life is an open book
My feelings and my meanings
Are oceansized
Long before i ever met you
Yeah, my feelings and my meanings
Are oceansized
Long before i ever met you
So now i'm asking to what had happened
To all the words you said
Well now you want me dead
If you were made for
The thing you stayed for
All that time ago
Now you're acting like you lost a friend
Like we were only pretend
Is this the end
Cuz my life is an open book
My feelings and my meanings
Are oceansized
Long before i ever met you
Yeah, my feelings and my meanings
Are oceansized
Long before i ever met you
(long before i ever met you)
Long before i ever met you
I wanted to take back my life
Cuz i gave it all to you
I just want to make it right
So i'm waiting on you
Yeah i'm waiting on you
My feelings and my meanings
Are oceansized
Long before i ever met you
Yeah, my feelings and my meanings
Are oceansized
Long before i ever met you

The Meaning Of Our Lives
the meanings of our lives
are not laundry clothes waiting for the sun
waiting to become clean and dry
the meanings of our lives
are on the women with dirty hands
surveying the stains and putting bleaching agents
and taking care of everything
the go where the real action is
they're not lazybones
they make things done
they know what a nice finish is all about.

Before My Eyes
I see before my eyes the wonderful words,
Speak them around the mouth to sustain,
So that meanings are clear to the birds.
I saw so many reasons to master and also afterwards,
Seen so many sessions of praise of this book to attain,
I see before my eyes the wonderful words.
Created and longed for, the books and pages are blizzards,
Looking for times so tight with sin again,
So that meanings are clear to the birds.
May we attain longevity when we read books backwards,
Leaning against the wall to hasten the air plane,
I see before my eyes the wonderful words.
Pleasing us one way is like living a way of life with hazards,
Leading is a disease of words, so frightening for after pain,
So that meanings are clear to the birds.
Can the heraldry of our country be the same innards,
Liking this sign captures the books’ meanings from the brain,
So that meanings are clear to the birds,
I see before my eyes the wonderful words.

Freedom Carries Multiple Meanings
fighting oppression in multiple meanings
censorship through televised manipulations
talking about premeditated virtual conspiracy
against peace loving citizen communications
freedom saga rescue is a nice way to fight
through claimed sight multiple meanings
freedom carries hope seeds in individualistic
experience sanctuary self-phrasing matters
freedom carries multiple meanings
self-praising soul liberation's maturity
like love freedom speech perceptions
like it as if somebody else wrote it
as your own harmonic soul liberations
into your soul rescued from captivity
separate freedom from mind into hearts
claiming God imbued freedom birth rights

The Irrelevant Past
Nothing is said,
The question is asked
And the Past
Has a hundred meanings,
None of them lasts
Only until I, the creator,
Become the Past...
What I am told
Has no influence on the truth,
What I believe is the matter
When no fact is plain,
Proving any more or less real,
That it really happened
The way I am always altered
And now the question remains:
What can I say?
There is no other to confer! ...
If two people see the same thing,
When one calls it Blue
And the other Yellow,
It could be either one
But who knows,
Who can clearly sees the real color?
Only time will tell
And when the truth is revealed,
It would be too late for you to know
For you have become the Past...

Did You Really Find GOD In A Fortune Cookie?
I cannot claim the cloak of innocence
for deeds I do no more, and yet... did once.
My catholic culture, quelled, still seems immense
contributing to this, , , deistic dunce.
Those years lost in the faiths which came before..
entrusting in the tales of those who care(?) .
Enlightened and yet frightened by the lore
of folk who read the stars and said, 'Beware'.
'If I am real, ... the voice within your head,
what kind of test or jest could I have planned? '
How many meanings hide in the UNsaid?
A 'God' would surely help us, .. understand?
I ask with no real hope for your reply...
'You dare to question? '.... If...the question's...WHY!

A Desire To Know Deep Meanings
Dictionary!
My Dictionary!
Raise it high in your right hand!
We shall use it
we shall use it to explore
to seek out...
the meaning of words
the meaning behind words
the multiple hidden meaning of life.
Amen.
Because modern computer dictionaries
really blow... they do, not, contain,
varied rich poetical meanings of words...
as some of my youthful dictionaries did
stimulating imagination, thought, wonder,
stimulating a desire to know deep meanings...

What's This About?
Can you hear it?
You can if you listen
Can you see it?
Only if you open your eyes
Can you feel it?
You can if you reach out and touch
Can you trust it?
Only if you tell no lies
Can you smell it?
You can with inhalation of breath
Can you love it?
Only without reservation
Can you release it?
Only with unfettered freedom
Can you save it?
Only with sincere salvation
Can you do it?
Only with unselfish effort
Can you love it?
Only by giving your heart
Can you describe it?
not in words, only images in your mind
Can you explain it?
Only by setting emotions apart
Can you decipher this poem?
You can…to your liking or leanings
Can it be, that all who read me
Will ascribe to it… different meanings?

How Do We Speak In Riddles?
how do we speak in riddles?
are we the modern versions of the sphinx
and where can oedipus stand and destroy
us at the crossroads?
come oedipus, slay us with your
wits
and incestuous destiny.
we are supposed not to look straight in the eye
we degenerate and shrink when we do so
we delineate a bit
not for any dramatics but it is simply the reason
why we are born this way,
writing in crooked lines
and burying some meanings on the sand
for the waves to caress and recover
with great patience and love,
we speak and we do not explain
they will say they will understand
and each shall make a stand that
though different each is right to a certain extent,
this is the life of
mystery a prism of colors contrasting
conceding condescending yet
true, well, maybe different when
filtered, light, shadows, images,
meanings, submeanings,
then extract, abstract, and what you find
ultimately from what is written above is
simply this:
riddle.
these are what we poets mean.

To Me What Family is
Family to me has many meanings
For all are full of diverse feelings
Love and anger, both within a single one
Children who stay and children who run
Can one family be better than another?
It all depends on how they love each other
A family’s love should last forever
Bonds of love nothing can sever
For the family I have, I am happy and blessed
And nothing more truthful have I ever confessed
Family has many meanings, but one rises above
The greatest meaning of family, is that of love

The Poems Of The Wild Words And Unexpected Meanings
THE POEMS OF THE WILD WORDS AND UNEXPECTED MEANINGS
The poems of the wild words and the unexpected meanings
Escape me -
The surprises of each new line’s metaphors
Are far from my power-
A plodding literal single- mindedness
Informed by small irony
Is all I have.
Poems distant from mine and greater
Inhabit the dreaming worlds,
And I inferior
With lesser words
Persist in making my Mediocrity up.

Experience Of Feeling Thoughts
I’m so lonely, the crocodile said,
last night I read instead of going
to bed, this morning I can only
search for inconclusive
meanings in meditative contemplation;
not in surface conversations, I don’t
want to know How Are You?
rather tell me how you FEEL
to break the stream of morbid thoughts
on existential isolation on a day in
which a haunting melody seems
more real than cold, unsmiling
faces, words as symbols can’t
convey the tactile feel of textures,
nor describe the experience of
feeling thoughts...

In Poetry There Is No Poverty
there is no poverty in poetry: it is a rich world
of flowers
and magic, of images that imaginations create
a warm sun
the deep blue sea, some mysteries of words
that come
and seemingly carry with them a bountry of meanings
liberation, oblation, jubilation
expression
birds coming out from our mouths
butterflies from our
stomachs
fireworks from our minds
in multicolors
to the darkest skies
of this earth
where can poverty
be
in a world of freedom: to say what you want to say
to think what you want to think
to dream
to imagine
to find meanings where others think there are none?
the secret garden
a path
a gate
a hiding place for all of us who still believe
about life
and aftelife and life after life
temporary deaths
and temporary losses
a jump a leap to the world beyond us
to eternity
we are meant
this i think is poetry and surely
there can never be
poverty

Facade (a tritina)
So many have come to dwell behind a panarchy mask
Lost between the delusive dimensions of identity
Unable to perceive that which is deemed real
They dare not throw aside the caparison that veils the real
Lest those that wish to deceive and to mask
Would reveal the abstersive truth of their own identity
Yet if all would but don the verisimilitude of their identity
Then the shadows cast would corrivate into the real
And no longer would there lie merit within a mask
Are you the mask of your identity or are you real?
