Art does not 'mean' anything

..or else conceived or imagined be
try as well hard a place to hide
from those insisting the meanings there are
the meanings there meanings be must at least
conceived or imagined be
so you want to know what a poem means
so you want to see that the art is sense
of x is y I take eye for an eye
for too often outwritten by art
I can say art does not 'mean' anything
