I Hate the Thought of Hate Crimes

A crime is a crime no matter how cut it,
A murder is a murder, a rape is a rape,
An assault is what it is,
A crime scene is a crime with the yellow tape.

If the prisons were to be abundant,
We can then send to jail all are convicted,
We don’t have to pardon anyone out overcrowding and time off for good behavior,
We must send all the criminals that indicted,
Guilty as charged that is what should fuel our endeavor.

Are we really up to the cost?
Are we really up to taxation?
Are we saying we have lost?
Are we saying we’ll pass another law,
such as hate crimes,
without a suitable explanation?

Justice

Justice is seldom found on earth
Although we want it most!

If the victim is poor
And the accused is rich
There should be a handsome compensation.

If the victim is rich
And the accused is poor
There should be less compensation.

I prefer death sentence
To lifetime imprisonment
And any other penalty to fine
Since the criminal may repent
And become a very good person!

Therefore the lawmakers should rethink
In order to establish true justice
In all spheres of judgment.

In Response To 'I Like To Be Raped

When young and innocent
And someone as hurt you
Beyond anything you know
Or understand
You say is it ok to be raped?
Is it ok to be handled
In away because of what a man
Needed to do to you
I just don't understand why
Why would you as a victim think like that?

If he forced himself
With and you not knowing what he meant
It was rape
If he told you it was ok
What he was doing
Fondling you in intimate ways
It was rape
If he says you're only doing
What your mother dose
In ways were he makes you think
It's ok to do those kinds of things
Its rape
Men I have learnt only cater
To their needs
And those are the ones
That have no care what you feel
It's sad to think
That life can be so cruel
Especially to ones
Who think they are no good
I see a child
Confused and scared
One that needs to know
You are not alone

Third Degree

(by eddie boyd and willie dixon)
Got me accused of peeping, I cant see a thing.
Got me accused of petting, I cant even raise my hand.
Bad luck, bad luck is killing me.
Well I just cant stand no more of this third degree.
Got me accused of murder, I aint harmed a man.
Got me accused of forgery, I cant even write my name.
Chorus
Got me accused of taxes, I aint got a dime.
Got me accused of children, and aint nary one of them was mine.

Everybody's A Victim

Everybody's a victim
Seems we're going that way
Everybody's a victim
We're becoming like the USA
Everybody's a victim
Seems we're going that way
Everybody's a victim
We're becoming like the USA
I demand recompense
For sitting on the fence
Throughout my adult life
You've got to put my parents in jail
For raising me in Fife
It doesn't matter what I do
You have to say it's alright
And I need you to send somebody around
To tuck me in at night
Because...
Everybody's a victim
Seems we're going that way
Everybody's a victim
We're becoming like the USA
Well it's not my fault
That I'm positive
I just stuck a needle in my arm
And nobody told me
That sixty a day
Would do me any harm
My liver's shrivelling like a leaf
But it's not the whisky that doo's it
Call me irresponsible
And I'm really going to lose it
Because...
Everybody's a victim
Seems we're going that way
Everybody's a victim
We're becoming like the USA
Wear a ribbon for this
Hug a stranger for that
Light a candle to the dead
And soon you'll forget
That you ever had
A brain inside our head
We value everythin the same
We turn it into farce
So we don't know a crisis
'Till it kicks us up the arse
Because...
Everybody's a victim
Seems we're going that way
Everybody's a victim
We're becoming like the USA
Everybody's a victim
Seems we're going that way
Everybody's a victim
We're becoming like the USA
Everybody's a victim
Seems we're going that way
Everybody's a victim
We're becoming like the USA

Why Me Only?

Rape here and rape there, rape is every where.
And country is become a big Mogul Harem, my fear;
Rape in the village, rape in the town:
Rape in sari, rape in gown:
India, secular, socialist and democratic:
But of late has become a rape republic.

Rape on an infant, rape on an old:
Rape of a student, rape of a tourist, told:
Rape by a friend, rape by an enemy:
Rape by majority, rape by minority;
Rape by the rich, rape by a poor ward:
Rape by forward, rape by backward.

A paid rape and a free rape,
A group rape and a compulsive rape,
All are socialist and secular,
In this perversion, hateful;
Daily it is breaking news,
Still there is no emotion to view.

I had survived, from among the dying,
The rapists reached to rape me, trying;
In my mother's wombs, unborn, I was a fetus;
No safe corners hide to shun the pain, tedious;
As I got a shape of a beautiful moor,
The dark sheep are there to maul my contour.

'This single act ends my own life, ' is one,
Where all the pains reside;
Crushed by the mis-fortune of some deadly sin-
Can't be washed by greatest win.
I lifted but hated my self here,
'There's no solace any where! '

"It is a dark spot, where all light spent,
All darkness! " cried I, Intent;
It hit me hard to graceless mutiny,
I was hideous, hopeless without scrutiny;
I sat, where night never ends;
Heaven's radiant show never lends.

One In Every Three

They say one in three girls
Will deal with this in their life
But why did I have to be one?
Why must I be in this hype?

What did I do wrong
To be a victim of rape
Not once, nor twice
But three times to date?

My virginity I wanted
But you took that from me
At fourteen I was still a child
But that, you didn't see

And then at fifteen
Again I had to suffer
But you were my cheer coach
You were supposed to make me tougher

Because of your selfishness
I needed a constant high
To forget about you
And the want to die

I got into drugs
Where again I was touched
By unwanted parts
All over my crotch

I woke up under you
I yelled for you to get off
But one hit and 'I'm not done yet'
Was the response that I got

For months I cried
For weeks I tried
To end my dreadful life
By committing suicide

Three years of my life
I'll never get back
Were ripped so suddenly
And threw me off track

I always thought it my fault
But now I finally see
I didn't make these guys
Rub, touch and feel on me

As much as I hate it
I will always be
A victim of rape
And that one in every three

Pepe Le Pew raped my cat

(This fictional poem is based on the cartoon character.)

I called the police and reported a rape and they rushed to where I live at.
But they beat me with their sticks when I told them that the victim was a cat.
Somehow my cat got a long streak of paint on her fur.
When Pepe Le Pew finished, she sure as hell didn't pur.
I gave him a good kick and I got sprayed.
I cut off his balls, he has seen better days.
He treated my cat like a whore.
He won't rape cats anymore.

On Rape

rape is a horrid act of violence
against the human soul....
a terrorist act against the victim!

anyone found guilty
should be dismembered!

whether the victim be female,
or male... they should be treated
with the respect due a wounded soldier....

the human heart knows
that when one of us is disrespected,
we have all been disrespected....

in this knowledge lies the key
to healing!

That's not rape

A man was convicted for rape even though he didn't commit that crime.
He'll be branded a rapist for the rest of his life and that's a long time.
When this man slept with a woman, he promised to wear a condom but he did not.
He didn't deserve a rape conviction but that's what he got.
Rape is making a person have sex by force.
Not by neglecting to wear a condom during intercourse.
I'll be the first to admit that what that man did was wrong.
And he probably does deserve his jail sentence that is long.
But he shouldn't be called a rapist, that's not fair.
Such injustices might not happen if people were more aware.

Accused

You are accused of a crime and i am accused of your love,
But be very cautious of whatever you see on this earth;
For a woman is like the bee and you have to treat her well then,
She will make sweet honey for you.

To be loved and to be honoured with the right words,
Love is like the aphrodisiac of Turkey!
And with a wet morning with the muse of your passion,
For i want to know what turns you on.

Womb, bomb, tomb!
You either have the questions or you know the facts;
For you are eloquently noted with the kin of your muse and,
I really want to know what turns you on always in this life.

Sonnet: Earthly Judgements are Fallible

Let no Man judge a man for any crime;
Let none sentence him to great punishment;
For land to land, there is a changing clime;
Laws vary under the same firmament.

Accused is not always, guilty of charge;
Many a time, you can't prove innocence;
Many a criminal is always at large;
Sometimes, the law appears to be nonsense.

And these are days of high-tech cyber-crime;
Some heinous crimes occur in lock-ups too;
The crime when done, reforming man is prime;
'Tis natural for cows to only 'moo'.

Forgive the offender and win his heart;
To love your enemy worst, is an art.

I decide to own something
just for the laugh
for a change.
then I might give birth to
rage fucked crimes.
in fury, they will be conducted
as trials.

have some mercy
and here is the plot:

the will to war.
what can be worse than a loneliness

is devoid of your taste

I can’t rape.

I can’t rape a woman;
I sing, draw and write about her.
I can’t rape a woman;
I devour her with my eyes, and voyeur.
I can’t rape a woman;
I see her dance, and romance in screens.
A sort of perversion;
Is there any animal who’s pervert?
I can’t rape a woman;
I bring her image in my fantasies.

Silence of the victim

I was a victim.
I am not any longer.
But within my head and heart I still am the victim.
I cant forget nor can I move on.
I never spoke out.
I had the silence of a victim.
To afraid to speak.

Silence of the victim.
I didnt speak untill it was to late.
More crap followed.
I put my family in danger.
I should of kept shut.
Most of it never was told.
Cos I had the silence of the victim.
Never did dare to speak.

To be the victim
It was hard.
But still I seem to be that victim.
I cant move on.
I am weak

For A Friend Who Is Also Struggling Out There

it is still 3 o'clock in the afternoon. iT is raining heavily
outside as we still keep busy with our own business
inside this courtroom.

two lawyers arguing on a point. I am listening.
the accused sits there, his life is at stake.
the mother is tense. two mothers.
THE mother of the complainant
who cries that her daughter is a victim
of rape.The mother of the accused who rebuts
that his son is just framed-up by the real
culprits who are still-at-large.

the glass windows of the court
muted the sound of the heavy rain.
but the way the trees are swaying to and fro
like a pendulum of a grandfather's clock
very well tells that there is a bad weather
outside this courtroom.

a river of faces faces me. i look at the eyes
of the room, the windows cased in glass
as the rain is maimed wanting to get in
as though trying to say that it has also
something to say about the matters
discussed inside this closed room.

the world is always asking, what is the truth?
it reminds us, there is only one truth and the
rest are lies. I keep on trying to learn from it.

the argument has always been:
everyone is a victim, and no one wins this game

of a legal play. sometimes the guilty is set free
and the innocent is put to prison.

there will be cries of the wind. In a closed court
like this, one cannot really hear the sound of its cries.
I am trying to figure out. Each word. The words of the
wind and the muted sounds of the rain.

THE hammer shall fall and it shall fall heavily.
Can this poem help me? Are emotions aids?

Many mouths shall shape the words. Each lip makes
a reading of itself. There will be whispers and murmurs.
There will be calls and cries and hounding sounds.

I sleep at night soundly. My conscience shall be my pillow.
There will be dreams handed to me by the gods.

As i write this, think also of my own journey, my own sorrows.
In the battles outside and inside us, a closed room vis-a-vis
the outside cries of the wind and the rain, i want to simply tell you, , ,

keep moving on. We move on too, with our own busy lives.
