Red Shoes

Oh i used to be disgusted
And now i try to be amused.
But since their wings have got rusted,
You know, the angels wanna wear my red shoes.
But when they told me 'bout their side of the bargain,
That's when i knew that i could not refuse.
And i won't get any older, now the angels wanna wear my red shoes.
I was watching while you're dancing away.
Our love got fractured in the echo and sway.
How come everybody wants to be your friend?
You know that it still hurts me just to say it.
Oh, i know that she's disgusted (oh why's that)
Cause she's feeling so abused. (oh that's too bad)
She gets tired of the lust, (oh i'm so sad)
But it's so hard to refuse.
How can you say that i'm too old,
When the angels have stolen my red shoes.
Oh, i said "i'm so happy, i could die."
She said "drop dead," then left with another guy.
That's what you get if you go chasing after vengeance.
Ever since you got me punctured this has been my sentence.
Oh i used to be disgusted
And now i try to be amused.
But since their wings have got rusted,
You know, the angels wanna wear my red shoes.
Red shoes, the angels wanna wear my red shoes.

Big Dumb Rocket

Ive never seen your breath before
But Im disgusted by the thought of
Waiting anymore
If I look up in your eyes
Will you notice me or
Fade into this accident
I dont want to find
The big dumb rocket on your mind
Its mostly you and mostly me
And a tired gun thats not empty
Ive never been this sad before
But Im disgusted by my fingertips
And what theyve done
If I look into your eyes
If it must be true you must believe
Ive never held such violent things
Ive never talked to God before tonight
But Im disgusted by...

Women are reputed never to be disgusted. The sad fact is that they often are, but not with men; following the lead of men, they are most often disgusted with themselves.

Often Amused

I am often amused,
By those electing to be suppressed...
In distressed environments.
And since they disrespect themselves,
Anyone living within it...
Gets the same treatment.
No matter what the influences achieved may be.

I am often amused,
By those who critique others...
With equal debilitating sustained values.
As if this depiction makes them feel a safety,
To bring everyone down to a level...
That expresses their disgust!

I am often amused!
But my expereinces outside of this,
I refuse to anyone 'limited' to discuss.

Lookaway

(a Sepultura song with Jonathon Davis guesting on vocals)
AAAAhhhh...
Each Time I Pull It Apart
I Get Disgusted, Can't Do It Today
What Makes It So Good
That A Man Would Kill For It
Lie Just To Lick A Bit
Each Time I Pull It Apart
I Get Disgusted, Can't Do It Today
What Makes It So Good
To Lie Just To Lick
Fake It, You Like It, Just Take Me Away.
Hold It?, Just Save It And I'll Be Repaid
Each Time I Pull It Apart
I Get Disgusted, Can't Do It Today
What Makes It So Good
That A Man Would Kill For It
To Lie Just To Lick A Bit
Each Time I Pull It Apart
I Get Disgusted, Can't Do It Today
What Makes It So Good
To Lie, To Lick
Take It, Enlarge It, Became It, Before
Like It, Or Hate It, And I'll Be Justified
Why!!!! Why!!!! What....Wha.. What For!!!!!!
Fake It, Then, Like it, Then Like it, Again **Psy-----Cho**
I Look At You, You Look At Me, You Look Away...(3x)
I Look At You, Looking At Me, You Look Away...
I Look At You, Then You Look At Me, Then You Look Away...
I Look At You, You Look At Me, You Look Away...(9x)

This Poetry

This poetry is not poetry

This poetry is not poetry as poetry goes

But is as silent as a man in a rollo neck jumper

Almost reading yesterdays news

This poetry is not poetry

As far as poetry goes

It is neither verse

Or poesy prose

This is a debunking of 'The poetry'

Everyone knows

And so they are not amused

This poetry is not poetry

So why poetry?

If not

Prose?

It is as idle as a man picking his nose

Pondering a wonderful muse

Yet some, are not amused

Infact if this poetry is Not poetry

What right have I to use, the word poetry?

It is a lovely panacea for expressing and de stressing

The individual's points of view

And yet if not poetry

Who says Not poetry

And who is qualified to choose?

Give me a pocket full of roses

Or a misty morning cloud

Are you amused?

Mental

Its like Im dressed up in my mothers clothing
Its like Im talking to a voice that doesnt exist
Its like I got a wire crossed upstairs
But all I want is just a little truth and thats it
They say Im mental but Im just confused
Thay say Im mental but Ive been abused
They say Im mental cause Im not amused my it all
Another anchor man is on the t.v.
Hes got that far away and vacant look in his eyes
I turn the channel but nothings changing
The only truth is that everythings a lie
They say Im mental but Im just confused
Thay say Im mental but Ive been abused
They say Im mental cause Im not amused my it all
Theres truth in everything
Theres truth in lies
With all this knowledge
I think Im gonna be wise
They say Im mental but Im just confused
Thay say Im mental but Ive been abused
They say Im mental cause Im not amused my it all
Not at all
Not at all

Of Course. Yes

I love how decadence is praised,
At such raised marketing levels.

I can understand those disgusted,
And offended by having their values...
Held to untouchable standards,
Disgraced and humiliated...
By an affected younger generation,
Unaware that these conflicting contradictions...
Are not so much hypocrisies,
As much as they are separate ways...
To earn those disgusted a fast buck.
And allow their impressive pretentions to thrive.

'But...
Isn't this hypocritical? '

No.
Not necessarily.
You see...
When obtaining money is involved,
It does not matter how one gets it.
How one charades in the masquerading,
Is more important in appearance...
Than what is in one's mind to go unseen.

'Oh.
So it's all about the image of things?
The physical and not the mental? '

Of course.
Yes.
Don't leave here to trip.

Salt For Your Wounds

There's a tear in my heart where the blood ran out.
There's a tear in my heart where the love ran out. I thought
we worked, pushed toward the same ends,
I'll never be so quick to trust again.
Disenchanted, disgusted, I regret that I trusted.
I put my faith.
My faith in you, you poisoned me through and through.
I though we both shared the same injuries.
Now I've found it's you who injures me.
My heart is cracked from being left out in the cold.
I know you'll pay for what you've taken - tenfold.
Disenchanted, disgusted, I regret that I trusted.
I put my faith.
My faith in them, they twisted the knife further in.

This Dog

There is a dog
A blood hound,
An ebony glare,
Finagled into believing
That the Sun is amused
In his own waiting.

There is a dog,
A surfeit among the pack
Carrying a luggage,
Meandering past the pavements,
Stops in his traversing
To freeze beside a street lamp,
Or an anticipating mailbox
Of satiety.

The dog sniffed,
And thrashed the vestiges
With his woebegone paw
Of gentle touch.
Two fangs blatantly lingering
In his snout-like structure of a jaw.
His eyes lost mirth,
Look at this dog of nonchalance,
Dog of lost chance,
Of tacit howls and wails,
Of taciturn oneness.

This servile creature,
Disgusted,
Bereaved,
Mutilated,
Castigated by grandiose decisions
For filthy, frigid and disgusting entities.
This dog,
This acquiescent dog
Can no longer vie.
Perhaps in his spine,
In his canine structures,
In his aroma of a disheveled beast,
He is dog-tired.
Mundanely exhausted.

Where Were You When That Happened?

It has already been tried.
Whatever it is you think you do.
Or believed done.
To yourself or someone,
Else
Involved involuntarily.

It has already been tried.
To cast vacant innocent eyes,
To hide behind another masquerade.

'We can't both be in the same Milky Way?
Why would I not be aware of the obvious?
You must be filming this for your archive collection.
Labelled, 'Repeated Scenes In Unconvincing Color''

It has already been tried.
Whatever it is you think you do.
Or believed done.
To yourself or someone,
Else
Involved involuntarily.

'Why do you think I have this smile on my face?
Because I am happy to see you?

I am more amused than happy.
But then again,
I'm happily amused.
So much has changed!
And I wonder...
Where were you when that happened? '

All This Time You Had the Gift of Clairvoyance

Where have you been?
What is now being discussed...
Has disgusted us for years.

Oh...
That's right.
Your life wasn't being affected.
I was one of 'those'...
And you were part of the collective 'them'.

These issues were raised when the homeless hit the streets.
When hunger in the urban cities left many with nothing to eat.
Remember when you would drive by...
With your nose in the air and your car doors locked?
You do remember my interview...
For a job you told me my credentials were over the top.
You told me I was over qualified.
And I thought to myself...
'Qualified, you were not! '

Where have you been?
What is now being discussed...
Has disgusted us for years.
Those of us thrown crumbs to survive.
While you jeered us with your peers.

And now your tears display bigger drops as they fall.
Aren't you the one 'connected'?
I'm sure those thieves will not allow you to crawl.
Afterall...
You did tell me,
I was over qualified!
And all this time you had the gift of clairvoyance.
No better time than now,
Do you have to express this gift.

I see you sobbing uncontrollably!
What about you?
What do you see?

Perhaps, I Expect Too Much From You....and So Here I Am Feeling So Disgusted

words flowed
like some reunited letters lately

the concepts come out
from the mind

still like words, syllables conjoining
there are no images still

i wait, i am waiting, i keep on waiting
like a commuter of a train

perhaps i have expected too much from
you
something graphic
like sun rising from a hill
in the full majesty of its
inborn light

after i have read
everything that you have written for years
following each like
the running ticking seconds
of the hour

i feel so disgusted

stalks without flowers
ladies stuffed like mummies

mountains bald deprived of the
green and yellows

there is a world without
sky and sun and sea and dolphins

a patch of light without
a hue

i want to see those prisms
refractions

interactions of colors inside
the depths of
our souls

perhaps i have expected too much from you
and so i am disgusted

give me your world
i will scatter it with stars tonight.

BROTHELS IN TORONTO June 25th,2011

It seems we may indeed have open brothels in Toronto soon,
The Charter of Rights and a lady who wanted to be immune,
Went to the Ontario Supreme Court and won her case,
So an open Toronto brothel may no longer be a disgrace.

The religious types and Toronto politicians are confused,
While some of them I think are more likely very amused,
Can’t have a brothel next door to a politician though,
The bright lights and tourists might leave the street all aglow.

The powerful media moguls of course are not amused,
They know the religious activists, whose egos might be bruised,
We should make bylaws for where brothels should and should not be,
Maybe go to Amsterdam, look in windows and walk around and see.

Finding Words to Define Regret

Be not me,
When I'm with you?
Is that what you're saying,
You see me do?

But not me,
Is that one who is...
Doing the best to collect regrets,
With an attitude that's negative.

We do and we don't,
And most times it's ignored.
We can be under one roof...
Yet behind separate doors.

I am he
You once adored.
The one committed
To adventure
We said we'd explore?

We're on different shores...
Together.

Be not 'me',
When I'm with you?
Is that what you're saying,
You see me do?

But not me,
Is that one who is...
Doing the best to collect regrets,
With an attitude that's negative.

Only you helped me decide...
That part of me you took for granted,
Had to heal and mend when my eyes opened.
I was happy when that happened.
I wanted us both to see the same sunset...
Holding hand and hand facing the horizon.

But not me,
Is that one who is...
Doing the best to collect regrets,
With an attitude that's negative.

Sometimes that would be both of us...
Disgusted together.

But I'm not about that anymore,
Anytime soon!
Be not me! ?
The ME
When I'm with you?
Is that what you're saying,
You see me do?

We do and we don't,
And most times it's ignored.
We can be under one roof...
Yet behind separate doors..
Disgusted and distrusting both of us,
Together.
Reminiscing the worse,
Of one once adored.

This is not love,
Baiting a mating match...
At all.
And yet time we waste,
Finding words to define regret!
