This Dog
There is a dog
A blood hound,
An ebony glare,
Finagled into believing
That the Sun is amused
In his own waiting.
There is a dog,
A surfeit among the pack
Carrying a luggage,
Meandering past the pavements,
Stops in his traversing
To freeze beside a street lamp,
Or an anticipating mailbox
Of satiety.
The dog sniffed,
And thrashed the vestiges
With his woebegone paw
Of gentle touch.
Two fangs blatantly lingering
In his snout-like structure of a jaw.
His eyes lost mirth,
Look at this dog of nonchalance,
Dog of lost chance,
Of tacit howls and wails,
Of taciturn oneness.
This servile creature,
Disgusted,
Bereaved,
Mutilated,
Castigated by grandiose decisions
For filthy, frigid and disgusting entities.
This dog,
This acquiescent dog
Can no longer vie.
Perhaps in his spine,
In his canine structures,
In his aroma of a disheveled beast,
He is dog-tired.
Mundanely exhausted.

I Walked With A Tiger
I walked with a tiger,
In his own maimed pace
And I found myself
Spineless,
In his soles,
Tiger-legged and tired.
Spangled with stripes,
Disdain, an ebony river
Of rue.
The hue taints the blood
The poison intoxicates
The night,
The feet of the gods dangle
From the firmaments
And the cicadas complain about
The scant rain.
I walked with him,
Tiger-like,
With a singeing tiger prowess
A culpable threat of equanimity.
He sojourned
And vanished in the black mist
Of the wintry éclair.
I am tired
As I folded the pavements,
And chased the curbs down, hunted
For bodies mutilated in the corner
Of the jagged cornerstone
I was tired in his skin,
Tiger-legged,
With woebegone paws.

Last Chance Lost
Last chance lost--
In the tyranny of a long good-bye
Last chance lost--
We talk of us with deadly earnest eyes
Last chance lost--
We talk of love in terms of sacrifice and compromise
Last chance--
Last chance lost
Last chance lost--
The hero cannot make the change
Last chance lost--
The shrew will not be tamed
Last chance lost--
They bicker on the rifle range
Blame takes aim
Last chance--
Last chance lost

I’m Lost
I AM LOST
Deep inside the forest, its too dark,
Its no light here, there is no way to enlightenment..
I found myself lost.
Neither I can go forward,
nor I will come back from here.
What i am doing is just waiting for sunrise,
to know whether it is east or west,
coz... i m lost.
I m lost in the way,
Once I thought would lead to my life,
but now its nowhere that I can go.
Its the darkness of the forest,
that is forcing me to thrive,
I am thrashed to be lost,
being lost to loser,
I AM LOST...

Winters Sun
Winters pall dims the vestiges of autumn gone,
lost the laughter and the sun, families fled
past the eyes of those past, replaced by barren sun.
Mundanity dulls the keenest edge, (re) casts
playact in imports stead, each actor caught in
winters pall, dims the vestiges of autumn gone.
In heady, early days, blushing glance was enough
to hold, then break, the rhythm of the dreary drum.
Past the eyes of those past, replaced by barren sun,
each generation caricatured, first by writers pen,
then realigned by victors gun; the awful chill of
winters pall dims the vestiges of autumn. Gone,
the comfort in a hug, entwined hands: now undone,
voices held on memories breadth, fade away into the
past. The eyes of those past, replaced by barren sun,
sightless, gaping - cast amongst the great undone, stories
raise them from the depths, before letting go into the
winters pall, dims the vestiges of autumn gone
past the eyes of those past - replaced by barren sun.

Big Dumb Rocket
Ive never seen your breath before
But Im disgusted by the thought of
Waiting anymore
If I look up in your eyes
Will you notice me or
Fade into this accident
I dont want to find
The big dumb rocket on your mind
Its mostly you and mostly me
And a tired gun thats not empty
Ive never been this sad before
But Im disgusted by my fingertips
And what theyve done
If I look into your eyes
If it must be true you must believe
Ive never held such violent things
Ive never talked to God before tonight
But Im disgusted by...

I Lost Her
I lost her...
I lost her smile,
I lost her soft glance,
I lost her loving voice,
I lost her gentle touch,
I lost her warmth,
I lost her pride,
I lost her,
I just lost her in every way.
Though I miss her so much, I have lost her a lot.

A Lost Day
Lost is the day in which you have not found fulfillment in any area: work, private, or social.
Lost is the day in which you have not found a reason to smile: not about others, and not about yourself.
Lost is the day in which you have not been of any service: neither to others, nor to yourself.
Lost is the day in which you have not shared some love with another living creature.
Lost is the day in which you did not dedicate one positive thought to yourself.
Lost is the day in which your laziness prevented you to be constructive.
Lost is the day in which you allowed the setbacks and failures of the world to get the best of you.
Lost is the day in which you allowed your jealousy to conquer your compassion.
Lost is the day in which you undertook any act with a devious intention.
Lost is the day in which your mind prevailed your heart.
Lost is the day in which you allowed material gain to determine your decisions.
Lost is the day in which you sought out a prey among the vulnerable.
Lost is the day in which you discarded empathy.
Lost is the day in which you preferred ignorance, through discrimination of any kind, to embracement of equality.
Lost is the day in which you got lost in backbiting and any other kind of meanness directed toward another.
Lost is the day in which you failed to recognize the lesson in even the most dreadful experience.
Lost is the day in which you ignored the voice of your intuition.
Lost is the day in which you did not prioritize the ones you love over material gain.
Lost is the day in which you lowered yourself to hypocrisy.
Lost is the day in which you deliberately brought pain upon another living creature.
Lost is the day in which you allowed hope to get lost.
Lost is the day in which you forgot where you came from.
Lost is the day in which you forget where you're going.
Lost is the day in which you allowed an estrangement between your mind, your body, and your soul.
Lost is the day in which you were not creative.
Lost is the day in which you lost the connection with the source within...

Halloween Evening
The moon was lost behind a cloud
When something weird went by
I tried to see what it was
But it flew so fast and high.
I don'tbelieve in witches
But that is what I saw
Sailing high in the sky
On broomsticks made of straw.
The stars were gone the night was dark
When something else took place
I couldn't quite believe it
There was a gruesome face.
A skeleton with corpse like face
I viewed it in awe
I don't believe in zombies
But that is what I saw.
The howls and cries
Under the moons eerie light
A master of changing shape
With one infectious bite.
I don't believe in werewolves
But that is what I saw
Walking down the street
With blood stained jaw.
Another creature of the night
With fangs dripping red
A piercing bite upon your neck
Then you are bled.
I don't believe in vampires
But that is what I saw
Lurking near the graveyard
When the moon was low.
All too soon the mellow moon
Lights an empty late night street
Children dreaming, planning, scheming
For next years trick or treat..

Anticipating that most poetry will be worse than carrying heavy luggage through O'Hare Airport, the public, to its loss, reads very little of it.

If I...
Lost my sight
still I have the chance
through my faith God I see
Lost my speech
still I have the chance
through my wisdom God I praise
Lost my hearing
still I have the chance
through silence God I hear
Lost everything in me
still I have the chance
in God life I posses
Lost my breath
and death finds me
still I have the chance
in God I live again

My Dark Demon
Every time I see you,
a part of my heart
is torn and ripped,
beaten and mutilated;
dripping blood.
My heart still wants you,
but you have
pushed me aside.
A very special part
of me has died.
I don't feel
the same,
I have changed.
I am more dark,
a demon is
now lurking inside me;
waiting for the
perfect moment to
come out;
hungry and wanting
revenge!
I don't know how
much longer I have
until I go over the edge.
If it comes out,
it will be the end
of all humanity.
The darkness inside of me
is waiting for its chance
to taste the sweet
blood of all of those
who have caused
me to have pain.
This change won't
be for good,
no one will recognize me;
I'll be something
monstrous and evil.
My blood thirsty,
conniving demon.

Bereavement
Do not get tired from grief as you are bereaved,
And bereavement is relief as you are bereaved.
Do certainty on the scene of writing, when all is leisure
And certain people believe in their belief as you are bereaved.
Does your mind seem a container of science and sea?
Then let feelings go, let them reside away from the thief as you are bereaved.
Does your partner know why marriage is sacred and solid?
Then see him or her with a measure of truth as the chief as you are bereaved.
May surrendering accomplish the goal of a life-time,
May I wish you all the best with your disbelief as you are bereaved.
Let Time fly, let innocence mend the tattered cloths and dress and uniform,
For when a person dies he or she is abject and very brief, as you are bereaved.

Red Shoes
Oh i used to be disgusted
And now i try to be amused.
But since their wings have got rusted,
You know, the angels wanna wear my red shoes.
But when they told me 'bout their side of the bargain,
That's when i knew that i could not refuse.
And i won't get any older, now the angels wanna wear my red shoes.
I was watching while you're dancing away.
Our love got fractured in the echo and sway.
How come everybody wants to be your friend?
You know that it still hurts me just to say it.
Oh, i know that she's disgusted (oh why's that)
Cause she's feeling so abused. (oh that's too bad)
She gets tired of the lust, (oh i'm so sad)
But it's so hard to refuse.
How can you say that i'm too old,
When the angels have stolen my red shoes.
Oh, i said "i'm so happy, i could die."
She said "drop dead," then left with another guy.
That's what you get if you go chasing after vengeance.
Ever since you got me punctured this has been my sentence.
Oh i used to be disgusted
And now i try to be amused.
But since their wings have got rusted,
You know, the angels wanna wear my red shoes.
Red shoes, the angels wanna wear my red shoes.

Only Love Can Say...
Count them like the random pennies safekept for a rainy day,
the obvious cruel reasons of the hows and whys;
loss pushes love away...
Take the cold frigid reasons to hand spread them out to lay,
ignoring the broken spirit that ever sighs;
with reasons only lost love can say...
While seconds force selective minutes to burn hours into play,
just as clouds make love to the unassuming skies;
loss pushes love away...
Where decisions forget to decide to remember what to say,
as the chance of choice whispers their goodbyes;
with reasons only lost love can say...
Reasons are adamantly ignored in this penny for a thought display,
but truth still screams from dead eyes;
loss pushes love away...
with reasons only lost love can say...

Curiosity Killed The Cat
I remember so well
Watching a cat at the balcony,
Reaching for my caged canary.
He purred and taunted the canary
And flailed his persnickety paws
In a mad flurry of jousts.
The wind waltzed over the cage
And the dwindling of it
Made the cat’s head writhe from
One flourish after another.
He purred, whirred and gave
Out sighs of desperation
But still he was stern in his feline physique
That smoldered of poise and starvation.
One mad summer, while the Sun
Took photographs of his exhausted self,
The cat finally grasped the beam of
The cage - the canary sang of consummation.
But the next riddle was how to
Open the cage where the canary sat.
The canary continued to croon the
Symphonies of a cat preparing
His canine fangs, his woebegone claws
To consume the canary -
But what the cat did not understand
Was that the canary was bastioned
Adroitly behind these rusting pillars.
The wind gains force, and its savagery
Was ready for a bastinado.
The wind darted across the lingering
Body of the cat as it was hectic
With frantically opening the cage,
Poor cat fell from the balcony,
Plummeted into the city
He made no sound,
Only impressions upon the cage
As the untouched canary
Sang of deceit.

Chipmunks Confusion
Chipmunk
Tail held high
Sprints across the street
On the fly -
To get to the other side
His only goal
There to dive
In another hole -
But wait,
Half way across
His small attention span
Gets lost -
The aroma of an acorn
Lingers upon the center line
With just one sweet sniff
He knows what he must find -
Turning
With the street
Several cars
He does meet -
Dodging them all
In and out
Strictly by chance
Blindly following his commanding snout -
Desire rules
Over fear for death's sake
Find the acorn
Whatever it takes -
At length
Circling full around
Back to where he started
In his own abode, under the ground -
Silly
He thinks to self,
That seductive sweet scent
Was the nut, here, on my own home shelf -
... So, back out
Once more he goes
Resuming his daily routine
Of crossing the road -

All Is Lost.
As rain starts glistening
All is lost.
As blood spills from the veins of those who are unsuspecting
All is lost.
Sad as may be
All is lost.
Tears pour from my wet eyes, then
All is lost.
All is lost in the shadows
As time passes me by
All is lost.
His eyes went gray, his skin faded pale
My love is lost.

Newly Divorced, new life in Mine Town
To that wasteland did we escape
oh what secrets dragged with,
into embraces did fall,
beggars past curfew
feeding on any embrace,
lonely-desperate-entities drawn...
war-ies traded; sorrow and comfort
entwined, realisation dawned!
lost in that land, selfish spoilt, death pointing
snickering, choices made! ! !
crawled up out;
body strained to end!
little by little...
the filthy foul incidious trench-
rats and disease rife
deep and dark, yet warm!
folly! many cowered safe!
flirting behind its shadowery form,
others, waiting to charge
to crawl up out;
waiting.......
war waged in that
wasteland, darkness hovered,
eager to devour; succumb
many did!
He Always Answers
When the will to live
Is no longer found
Meanings are lost on you
Ask the Lord for His
Amazing grace
To help you get through
For He's always waiting
Never far from veiw
For His love never stops
He's just waiting to hear
From you

A Winter Pack
The wolves run in the night
Searching for something thats just out of sight
They hunt together on this frigid winter's night
Searching for food that will take the hunger away
The alpha stops, followed by his pack
Along a frozen lake shore is an elk
Who plays alone in the deep winter snow
The wolves are hungry they're ready for attack
The wolves circle 'round without a sound
The elk doesn't notice at all
One sharp yap and the wolves charge
The elk has fallen and tonight will be a feast
The alpha eats with hungry gazes upon him
When the rest of the pack eat it is time for sleep
But first the alpha howls and it rises through the pack
This is not a mournful hungry howl, but a joyus happy one
The wolves go to sleep under the full moon
They are happy and filled with food
They dream dreams of the coming spring
When the toll of winter will leave this winter pack.
