Scandal
Words and music by queen
Scandal - now youve left me all the worlds gonna know
Scandal - theyre gonna turn our lives into a freak show
Theyll see the heart ache, theyll see the love break
Theyll hear me pleading, well say for gods sake
Over and over and over again
Scandal - now youve left me theres no healing the wounds
Hey scandal - and all the world can make us out to be fools
Here come the bad news, open the flood gates
Theyll leave us bleeding, well say you cheapskates
Over and over and over again
So let them know when they start its just a private affair
Theyll have us hung in the air and tell me what do they care
Its only a life to be twisted and broken
Theyll see the heart ache, theyll see our love break - yeah
Theyll hear me pleading,Ill say for gods sake
Over and over and over and over again
Scandal scandal
Scandal
Scandal yes youre breaking my heart again
Scandal yes youre loving on out again
Today the headlines tomorrow hard times
And no-one ever really knows the truth from the lies
And in the end the story deeper must hide
Deeper and deeper and deeper inside
Scandal scandal

After All This- Happiness
There is a drunk boy in my bed and he smells.
I want him to leave so I can wash the sheets,
clean up,
arrange things, erase this episode
in my single hood.
Scandal, scandal, scandal, boys boys boys:
woke up this morning, no love in the bed.
You and I should meet for lunch. You can give me
advice. I sometimes feel judged. But that is from my
friends who aren't getting any.
Right now I guess I am wrapped up in the excitedness of it all.
But it is getting lonely here because most of my friends are getting
married.
One day, after all of this I will be married and happy and all that
Love, Anita.

A scandal is the fire of jealousy
A scandal of a woman spreads like fire
Consuming everyone around
And sweeps like flood immersing one and all.
Yet her husband stands aloof like the Arc
Undisturbed by the pool of suspicion.
Is the scandal false or is he blind?

Nothing Has Been Proved
(tennant / lowe)
Mandys in the papers cause she tried to go to spain
Shell soon be in the dock and in the papers once again
Vickis got her story about the mirror and the cane
It may be false, it may be true
But nothing has been proved
Stephens in his dressing-gown now, breakfasting alone
Too sick to eat, hes on his feet and to the telephone
The police inspector soothes him with his sympathetic tone
It may be false, it may be true
But nothing has been proved
In the house a resignation
Guilty faces, every one
Christines fallen out with lucky
Johnnys got a gun
Please please mes number one
(its a scandal! its a scandal! such a scandal!)
Now, stephens in the dock for spending money that was earned
By christine, and the prosecution says that money burned
A hole in stephens pocket, for expensive sins he yearned
It may be false, it may be true
But nothing has been proved
In the news the suicide note
In the court an empty space
Even mandys looking worried
Christines pale and drawn
Please please mes number one
(its a scandal! its a scandal! such a scandal!)
Last night he wrote these words to his friend:
Sorry about the mess
Im guilty til proved innocent
In the public eye and press
The funerals very quiet because all his friends have fled
They may be false, they may be true
Theyve all got better things to do
They may be false, they may be true
But nothing has been proved
Nothing
Nothing has been proved
Oh, nothing
Nothing
Oh, nothing
Nothing
Oh, nothing

Headline Hustler
I got me a job on the local paper
Everybody there thinks Im nice
But theyd better look twice
'cos it isnt me
I wanna be
Headline hustler
Scandal maker
Headline hustler
Money taker
You keep writing me letters
But I havent got time
Im busy looking at photographs
But theyd better not be from the bbc
Youre gonna hear from me
Headline hustler
Scandal maker
Headline hustler
Money taker
Better not turn around
Ill stab you in the back
And you dont know what Im hiding
Under my plastic mac, under my plastic mac
I got a very good friend in the cia
And he says that he never takes bribes
But hes telling lies
'cos hes into me
He knows I wanna be
Headline hustler
Scandal maker
Headline hustler
Money taker
If your brothers wearing dresses
And your neighbours swapped his wife
Well, Im gonna make the headlines
With your private life
With your other wife
Headline hustler
Scandal maker
Headline hustler
Money taker
Headline hustler
Scandal maker
Headline hustler
Money taker

Merit has no merit.
No scandal ends in adultery.
No adultery traces to scandal.
Meritorious companions meet
And fall apart before they unite.
Under indenture adultery succeeds.

Scandals are hollow
Which woman had escaped scandal
When found in company of a man?
Which woman had granted herself,
By being in company a man?
Isn’t a scandal always hollow?

The Iraqi Free Press, which did not exist 18 months ago because there was no such thing as the Iraqi Free Press, broke a story about the U.N. Oil-for-Food scandal, which could potentially turn out to be the largest scandal in history.

Sanctify…
Indian women live in two worlds,
At a time or alternatively.
The world of erotica brought by the media.
The world of female virtue
Inculcated by the Manu’s culture.
Sex scandals surge as a result.
Each scandal has equal share
From the female partner.
The forbidden fruit tasted equally.
Sanctify the scandal, the only way.

He Is Good At
Who is claiming he has changed?
He is still the same weasel.
The same creep.
Then...
He was selling a war!
Now...
He is selling a book!
He is still a thief.
He is still a crook.
And the best to have on anyone's team,
If the scheme is scandal.
And if that scandal is created,
For purposes to smokescreen.
Deception is in his blood.
He was born to deceive and hookwink!
And that...
He is good at!
And that...
Was the reason,
He had been there in the first place.
To coverup a stink unseen!
Who is claiming he has changed?

Sneaky Peeks Out Of Windows
Can you handle scandal?
Or innuendos,
With a lifting of an eyebrow sent?
Can you handle cheeky comments made,
About who you've been seeing in discreet...
And how you like your sex done,
With 'whomever' you have had...
Prior to sneaking home to go to sleep!
Can you handle scandal?
Or innuendos,
With a lifting of an eyebrow sent?
How about someone you have yet to meet,
Paying your monthly rent?
This gossip is daily entertainment...
For those with no lives to live.
But 'know' from sneaky peeks out of windows...
Who they assume does what,
And with whom...
From notes they take and schedules they keep.

The People Wanted to Feel Invited
A tone of voice was not accepted.
Because of the rawness of the message delivered.
And the context of it was ignored.
As has been done a countless number of times before.
Those listening to the messenger...
Preferred to receive information that poisoned,
With sweeteners...
Initialed and italicized.
And personally handed to them before consumption.
The people wanted to feel invited.
More involved in their own demise.
Although this was not cost effective...
The compliance to their wishes was applied.
As the messengers stood aside,
To observe those ignorant...
Delight in the process of their 'digestable' genocide!

My Most Favorite Dish
You have made my mind fully hellish
Yet you are my most favorite dish!
You have made scandal so many times
I can’t help writing very sad rhymes!
When I think of making love with you
Then it seems I am caged in a zoo!

With Minted Sweeteners
When your booty banked has tanked,
Will you first think to give thanks?
Or will you think of breaking ranks...
Upon this dawning.
Will you be a grumpy crank?
Wishing for someone to spank.
Or will you decide to think,
This a warning?
Your pennies now make less cents.
Even if condensed to lint.
But they're kept as sentiments,
Like worthless pawnings.
But somehow you kept your faith,
A return to waste would take...
A slower pace believed?
Don't grieve!
How about a ha ha,
He he
Ho ho hum out to you?
Would you like that spread on cheese?
With a cup of tea with that too?
Since the ooo ooo
Of your boo hoo days are here.
And everything about them,
Neared.
But you sought clarity!
How about a ha ha,
He he
Ho ho hum out to you?
Would you like that spread on cheese?
With a cup of tea with that too?
Since the ooo ooo
Of your boo hoo days are here.
And everything about them,
Neared.
But you sought clarity!
With minted sweeteners.
