A scandal is the fire of jealousy
A scandal of a woman spreads like fire
Consuming everyone around
And sweeps like flood immersing one and all.
Yet her husband stands aloof like the Arc
Undisturbed by the pool of suspicion.
Is the scandal false or is he blind?

Scandal
Words and music by queen
Scandal - now youve left me all the worlds gonna know
Scandal - theyre gonna turn our lives into a freak show
Theyll see the heart ache, theyll see the love break
Theyll hear me pleading, well say for gods sake
Over and over and over again
Scandal - now youve left me theres no healing the wounds
Hey scandal - and all the world can make us out to be fools
Here come the bad news, open the flood gates
Theyll leave us bleeding, well say you cheapskates
Over and over and over again
So let them know when they start its just a private affair
Theyll have us hung in the air and tell me what do they care
Its only a life to be twisted and broken
Theyll see the heart ache, theyll see our love break - yeah
Theyll hear me pleading,Ill say for gods sake
Over and over and over and over again
Scandal scandal
Scandal
Scandal yes youre breaking my heart again
Scandal yes youre loving on out again
Today the headlines tomorrow hard times
And no-one ever really knows the truth from the lies
And in the end the story deeper must hide
Deeper and deeper and deeper inside
Scandal scandal

Smoke without fire
Any woman of repute,
however it might happen
that she was close with a man
of her choice or liking,
will not throw away her
fame, name and virtue,
more over her self esteem,
and have her husband cuckolded,
to commit the crime
to get the stigma of shame
and stand ever scathed.
But the world refuses to believe.
The scandal spreads like fire.
A smoke without fire.

Nothing Has Been Proved
(tennant / lowe)
Mandys in the papers cause she tried to go to spain
Shell soon be in the dock and in the papers once again
Vickis got her story about the mirror and the cane
It may be false, it may be true
But nothing has been proved
Stephens in his dressing-gown now, breakfasting alone
Too sick to eat, hes on his feet and to the telephone
The police inspector soothes him with his sympathetic tone
It may be false, it may be true
But nothing has been proved
In the house a resignation
Guilty faces, every one
Christines fallen out with lucky
Johnnys got a gun
Please please mes number one
(its a scandal! its a scandal! such a scandal!)
Now, stephens in the dock for spending money that was earned
By christine, and the prosecution says that money burned
A hole in stephens pocket, for expensive sins he yearned
It may be false, it may be true
But nothing has been proved
In the news the suicide note
In the court an empty space
Even mandys looking worried
Christines pale and drawn
Please please mes number one
(its a scandal! its a scandal! such a scandal!)
Last night he wrote these words to his friend:
Sorry about the mess
Im guilty til proved innocent
In the public eye and press
The funerals very quiet because all his friends have fled
They may be false, they may be true
Theyve all got better things to do
They may be false, they may be true
But nothing has been proved
Nothing
Nothing has been proved
Oh, nothing
Nothing
Oh, nothing
Nothing
Oh, nothing

Merit has no merit.
No scandal ends in adultery.
No adultery traces to scandal.
Meritorious companions meet
And fall apart before they unite.
Under indenture adultery succeeds.

Scandals are hollow
Which woman had escaped scandal
When found in company of a man?
Which woman had granted herself,
By being in company a man?
Isn’t a scandal always hollow?

Scandal
A female has two options:
To reject or accept
A male has two options:
To omit or select
Male is active. Female is passive.
The move comes from the male
The move is fluid in state,
Flowing from up to down
That is why man
Is not blamed for the scandal

You believe him
If your husband spoke not high
Of your woman friend to you,
It means that he wants to hide
His interest in her to you.

After All This- Happiness
There is a drunk boy in my bed and he smells.
I want him to leave so I can wash the sheets,
clean up,
arrange things, erase this episode
in my single hood.
Scandal, scandal, scandal, boys boys boys:
woke up this morning, no love in the bed.
You and I should meet for lunch. You can give me
advice. I sometimes feel judged. But that is from my
friends who aren't getting any.
Right now I guess I am wrapped up in the excitedness of it all.
But it is getting lonely here because most of my friends are getting
married.
One day, after all of this I will be married and happy and all that
Love, Anita.

Headline Hustler
I got me a job on the local paper
Everybody there thinks Im nice
But theyd better look twice
'cos it isnt me
I wanna be
Headline hustler
Scandal maker
Headline hustler
Money taker
You keep writing me letters
But I havent got time
Im busy looking at photographs
But theyd better not be from the bbc
Youre gonna hear from me
Headline hustler
Scandal maker
Headline hustler
Money taker
Better not turn around
Ill stab you in the back
And you dont know what Im hiding
Under my plastic mac, under my plastic mac
I got a very good friend in the cia
And he says that he never takes bribes
But hes telling lies
'cos hes into me
He knows I wanna be
Headline hustler
Scandal maker
Headline hustler
Money taker
If your brothers wearing dresses
And your neighbours swapped his wife
Well, Im gonna make the headlines
With your private life
With your other wife

Love is the willing battle.
Love is the battle,
Where in the end.
Either both win
Or both lose;
In either way
They part, with sweet memories.
That is why
Love propels man
And woman as often
To engage in battle,
Blind to barriers
And blind to results.

The Iraqi Free Press, which did not exist 18 months ago because there was no such thing as the Iraqi Free Press, broke a story about the U.N. Oil-for-Food scandal, which could potentially turn out to be the largest scandal in history.

Wasting the energy
A low breed, past fifty,
With husband estranged,
In a secret room, with me, a lord,
Refused my insert
Then, which woman can
You dream to bring to sex
With all painstaking efforts?
A man spends half his energy
In much futile pursuits.

When public men indulge themselves in abuse, when they deny others a fair trial, when they resort to innuendo and insinuation, to libel, scandal, and suspicion, then our democratic society is outraged, and democracy is baffled.

Woman is conditioned to be a feast
Those rapacious eyes of men,
As they are in and around,
Over my curves and contours,
I detest not and repels not,
Rather would prefer them
And yet choose to ignore,
Set to fear the tongue of scandal.
I am content to be a feast.
Those rapacious eyes of men,
Much in for-aught-I-mind,
Nevertheless have their food.
Man lives on his eyes;
Woman lives from his eyes.

Holy dip in love pool
To feel that I might be admired
Put me in moisture.
To feel that it is from you, a woman,
Left me fully wet.
When I confirmed it from hearsay,
It bathed you long.
When you yourself showed it
It immersed me total.
‘I can’t forget you. You’re more than
Any.’ Beena told me over phone
After our sojourn was over.
It sank me in the love pool
I was never awake from.

Sanctify…
Indian women live in two worlds,
At a time or alternatively.
The world of erotica brought by the media.
The world of female virtue
Inculcated by the Manu’s culture.
Sex scandals surge as a result.
Each scandal has equal share
From the female partner.
The forbidden fruit tasted equally.
Sanctify the scandal, the only way.

He Is Good At
Who is claiming he has changed?
He is still the same weasel.
The same creep.
Then...
He was selling a war!
Now...
He is selling a book!
He is still a thief.
He is still a crook.
And the best to have on anyone's team,
If the scheme is scandal.
And if that scandal is created,
For purposes to smokescreen.
Deception is in his blood.
He was born to deceive and hookwink!
And that...
He is good at!
And that...
Was the reason,
He had been there in the first place.
To coverup a stink unseen!
Who is claiming he has changed?

Status and guilt
Status stands not in the way
For a man to stoop low
To negotiate with a woman,
With his eyes on her flesh.
Guilt stands in the way
For a woman to accept a man,
However worthier he might be.
It is handy for a woman
To corner a man if she decides..

Man differs from woman
A man can love two women
At a time in equal measures
A woman may subscribe to it.
A woman can, two men
Simultaneously in turn.
A man cannot tolerate it.
