No one can speak well, unless he thoroughly understands his subject.
There is no way I could have ever dared to make a documentary, much less have the money to make a documentary, if it was on 16mm. But, with the magic of digital.

My Baby Understands
Whenever my baby loves me
whenever my baby needs me
and he often does
Well I'm attracted by desire ooh
cause he's the master of the fire
and he teases just to tease me
and he pleases just to please me
My baby understands
my baby understands
my baby understands
my baby understands
Whenever my baby loves me
love me like he should
whenever my baby leaves me
leaves me feeling good
he loves me
needs me
wants me
oh yes my baby does
Whenever my baby leaves me
whenever my baby goes away for a while
like he does
No I never need to worry ooh
cause my baby loves me only
Well I'm capture by desire
cause he's the master of the fire
my baby understands
my baby understands
my baby understands
Yes my baby understands

Just Too Much
A discussion of politics and I fall asleep, voices
droning about boring facts - after I had my say
about Greece and destitute refugees in the Cote
d’Ivoire, we watch another documentary about
solar power to save us from nuclear disaster
I black out, a solicitous colleague shakes me awake
I wriggle in my seat; next week, our enthusiastic
teacher says, each must do a speech on South
African politics discussing the party of their choice
in detail – I give up, resigned I decide
I cannot attend this class, I shall completely lose
my mind in the boredom of this, will have to flee
the subject of politics as it drives me insane, the
stink of inefficient states and the self-serving
politicians defrauding their own people
Is just too much…

Travel
Melodic stanzas
are symphonizing their way
through your weary head
To feed your distrust
And fill it's mouth with the desire
to soulfully be one with your creation
Not a subject to control
you call upon a higer power
for help and inspiration
The crowd waits
and turns their faces
towards you expectantly
you give them what they need
But their useless criticism
makes you die
a bit more inside
Not a subject to control
you call upon a higer power
for help and inspiration
Oh

We Will Never Master The Baiting Of It
Intrigued by the subject of love,
And left bewildered...
By the definition of it.
With a wish to command,
Its presence.
But love,
If it is real...
Is out of one's hands.
Intriqued by the subject of love,
And the question of depth...
Of how much of love,
Should take away our breath.
And how can it be,
No one can say...
Enough of love has been had?
Until one has taken theirs away.
To feel what was in our hearts that was felt.
With a hope that it returns back to us to stay.
But love,
If it is real...
Is out of one's hands.
And far from a demanding of it.
To admit that it is out of our hands,
But in our minds and hearts...
And everywhere else it seems to be a part.
No one understands.
Yet...
In our hands,
It seems to come and go...
As it chooses.
To prove...
We will never,
Master the baiting of it to stay.

The Subject On This Love
The subject on this love is an object,
And the object is very sound and beautiful;
The subject on this love is a valley,
And the valley is very quiet and lovely;
The subject on this love is a fruit,
And the fruit is very sound and attractive;
The subject on this love is a mountain,
And the mountain is very high and lonely;
The subject on this love is a river,
And the river is very smooth and slippery;
The subject on this love is a seed,
And the seed is very fruitful and sweet;
The subject on this love is your milk,
And your milk is very thick and sweet;
The subject on this love is your lake,
And your lake is very fresh and aromantic;
The subject on this love is a garden,
And the garden is very thick and bushy;
The subject on this love is a room,
And that room is very romantic and peaceful;
The subject on this love is your apples,
And your apples are very passinate and emotional;
The subject on this love is a tree,
And that tree is very tall and bushy;
But the peace of this subject brings is like,
Two lovers swimming across the blue sea of love and blues.

My Baby Does Me
Words and music by queen
Turn it up a bit please
My baby
Baby does
My baby does me good
My baby does
My baby does me
My baby does me good
My lady
Understands
Understands me right
She understands me
She understands me
Understands me right
My baby cares
She really cares
She knows whats really right for me
Does me good then she hurts me so
She winds me up and then lets me go
Turns me on and then tells me no
Shes just a pussy cat
My baby loves me
My baby loves me
My baby cuffs me
One day she tells me that she cares
Another day she tells me she dont love me
She really really does me
Ooh
Now people do you believe this
Do you
Ooh
Oooh
She really really really really really really
Does me

Evening News
tragedies of the day on display
opinions after opinions, some person's say
whatever gets to you, whatever you get to allow
corruption a household name by now.
talking heads are just the messengers
of the message we wish to share
ritually updated to the ways of the world:
one-sided, cross-eyed, myopic
a reality not grasped in its entirety.
do you care, dear viewer?
it is that time of the day to start unwinding anyway.
do you care, dear viewer?
all of the shocking and none of the feeling.
we are after boiling blood
of blue-fire morbid.

Surrender To God’s Control
I have no control of my life; my days are filled with undue strife,
Says that one living on his own, attempting to live his life alone,
Without an influence of the Lord, as God’s Word is just ignored,
Living life on shifting sands, avoiding Truth that he understands.
When a life is saved from sin, that life then truly belongs to Him,
Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior, who, should impact our behavior,
To live life as a new creation, through the power of our Salvation,
That Gospel Power, truly saves, and alters the way man behaves.
God is the One, to who we give, our very life, so that we can live,
Our life, moving us away from sin, to live our life pleasing to Him.
It’s The Lord we must give control, of all our life, not just our soul,
As the world isn’t a friendly place, and we need His guiding Grace.
When we give God complete control, we lose in life, nothing at all,
But, gain from God a multitude, of benefits, with the right attitude,
With complete surrender friend, a path is brighter around the bend,
Filled with joy, peace and happiness, walking in His righteousness.
God turns our despair into Hope, when through God we now cope,
With all our concerns in this life, through The Spirit of Jesus Christ,
Filling us with a new found peace, that in dark times will not cease,
As a stable life The Lord renders, when the soul to God surrenders.

I don't know what sex appeal is. I don't think you can have sex appeal knowingly. The people who seduce me personally are the people who seem not to know they're seductive, and not to know they have sex appeal.

Viewers are like artists.
An artist perceives, abstracts,
Concretize and present a form.
A viewer perceives, connects,
Abstracts and relate to real thing.
The beauty of the art enhances
From the style the artist employs.
The beauty of the art is understood
From the mind the viewers apply.
To be a viewer is as special as an artist.
All aren’t viewers as all aren’t artists.

Schooling Relationship
you are the subject which i study
understanding and getting to know you psychologically
learning new ways to do right
ways to out do the wrong
you are the subject which i study
practicing and testing the goods and bads
you are the subject which i study
the time has come graduation is here
learn the subject by studing its psychology
understanding is the only way for success
now we move on to the next step
you are the subject which i study to major
as i take hold of your hand
guide you through rough times throughout this life
you are the subject which i study to major
as time goes by ticking away
i studied you all those days
i understand your past history life
your psychology means alot to me
mentally physically emotionally speaking
you are the subject which i study to major...
