We're going to have more kids playing, and we're going to have a better chance of finding those players Minor sports in a community is for fun and recreation. For everyone.

Hide And Seek
when i went there
you were not there
when you went there
i was not there
purposely we try
not meeting
like two parallel lines
unbent by light
you think about the kids
playing hide and seek
to while the hours away
when we are not with them
come to think about what
we are doing: we are breaking
up, and we are loosening our grip
to our hands. we pretend that
you like finding me and that i like
finding you.
we love not finding each other.
and that is the truth.
when the kids ask why?
we play our games and we tell them
we are enjoying each others' search.
we miss our absence.
we like it this way.
raw smiles. fake grins.

Enrolling your child in a recreational sport sponsored by your neighborhood recreation community centers is a great way to keep kids active.
I think that people who have played sports have an ability to relate to people because when you're playing you have to work on teams and with opposing players.

Some of the money from the senior players goes to helping out the younger kids. It is from the players' pool, the fines for being late and so on. Some will go to something like the tsunami appeal and some to helping out young players.

It's funny, 'cause it seems like just yesterday that I was the youngest player just starting out. But now there are young players all over the league, and they'll ask me questions about playing overseas or finding an agent.

The more that Japanese players go to the big leagues to play and succeed, the more that will serve to inspire young kids in Japan to want to become baseball players when they grow up.

I enjoy sports. I get a real joy from playing sports but I don't look for those movies. Oliver Stone wanted to know if I would do Any Given Sunday and it just didn't appeal to me.

The Sport I Love
Like any other sports
this is the one I choose,
I love, and I have been playing.
the sport I want to be belong.
That is soccer.! ! !
Playing this game
have been giving me an event
that is hard to forget.
It is exciting right! ! !
And therefore
I do not know how
could I leave this sport.
Of which is this sport
help me to build my stamina,
meet a lot of friends, and
also this sport taught me
how to act as a human being,
in order to have a discipline
not only in this sport
but also in the community
as well as in a situation.
It help a lot in me right! ? ,
therefore i must not have to forget
as well as to leave this sport
but to love this sport forever..
I love soccer.! .

Nike Shox
on the outside, nike is great
nike makes ballin shoes, jordan and melo
they make pro golf shirts, blue green and yellow
they make casual wear directed at teams like nike boots
they make athletic training equiptment like ladders and parachutes
they make great sports gear like nike pro
they sponser combines for young football players so college they can go
they are associated with so many youth-adult sports teams
you would think they would endorse children's dreams
instead they exploit children and cause them pain
sweatshops leave them damaged and maimed
but because they are in poor countries where the children have no to grow
most kids who idle nike will never know

School-Community
School is a community which surrounds you most
A place where teachers seem somewhat like ghosts
Believing that it’s a chance for new friends
But the community also introduces new ends
You believe that you yourself can never be true
To reside into acting into someone that isn't you
The school community soon becoming fake
Inside, many people's hearts begin to ache
We believe in not showing our true selves
The community telling to dig deep in ourselves
Slowly we start believing that freedom is forbidden
But does school truly want ourselves to remain hidden?
Friendships can lead to you being cut down
We sometimes wish this community wasn't around
But then we realise not to defy the real world
And that the real truth is being unfurled
This community teaches us to stand on our own feet
And without this test we shall still remain incomplete
The teachings is something that no one seems to share
In the real world these are teachings we'll need out there
School is a place where there are things we must learn
Otherwise the community outside will cause us to return
The community outside is the place we are yearning
But this community is the place we are still learning…

Player's Ball
Here's a little somethin for the players out there hustlin
Gettin down for theirs
From east pointe, college park, decatur, devries...
My man, the scene was so thick
Lowriders, seventy-seven sevilles
El do's, nuttin but them 'llacs
All the players (deporte in the house) all the hustlers
I'm talkin bout a black man heaven here
Youknowhati'msayin? yeah
*singing*
Cadillacs are comin, from everywhere (yeahhh)
Limbo boppin good cause love is in the air
To all you players and you pimps smoke out and have a ball
And if your hoe is actin crazy --
-- put her on the wall
Now now now everybody's dancin and just feelin right
I see all of you players got yourselves laid in on ice
I hope when all y'all dance is over, can i get onn, yeah
My kids'll have a story, that still be told, whoooa, about
All the players came, from far and wide
Wearin afros and braids, kickin them gangster rides
Now i'm here to tell ya, there's a better day
When the player ball is happenin, all day eryday

I Wanna Sang
[T] Whassup little man, what's wrong wit'chu?
[T] Why you lookin so sad - what's wrong?
Man, I went to school today
and the teacher said I couldn't be no rapper
[T] Say what? Why she tell you that?
She told me I had to be somethin, that's more realistic
like I could actually be, like a construction worker or somethin
[T] Man, construction workers ain't realistic man
[T] You can't be out there done sawin all day, boy it's hot out there
[T] Man, just keep on goin to school, get your education
[T] That way, you can be anything you WANT to be
[Chorus: sung]
I just wanna sing, can I, sing you a song
I bet you'll love it (I just wanna sing) yeah yeah yeah
(I-I ain't askin for much)
[T] Well go 'head then
I just wanna sing, can I, sing you a song
I bet you'll love it (I ain't askin for much)
[Trick Daddy]
Listen; I just wanna make music, I just wanna verse or two
In fact, man, I wanna be a rapper too
And I could probably sing the blues
Cause I got problems too, plus I growed up in the projects too
Well can you put me on your soundtrack?
Cause I got a good theme song that Betty Right could probably sing on
Yo, I just want a chance at stardom
I just wanna be more than a thief or robbin
Well, what about a remix? And I could probably make the beat
and get it done all in less than a week
And make it clean for the radio, so the kids could watch the video
Yo, but y'all don't hear me doe
Man, I just want a crack at it
If I fail I'll be back, cause I refuse to be a crack addict
I wanna prove the critics wrong
What started off with a poem done turned it into a song
Now I'ma sing it for you
[Chorus w/ minor variations]
[Trick Daddy]
Listen to me! I wanna be a legend one day, that way
I can be put in the same category with Barry White and Marvin Gaye
And have a tribute dedicated to me
Sell platinum records and win Grammys so that the world can see
you could be anything that you want to be
Play sports or make music, just put your mind to it
And yo, I ain't the typical 'American Idol'
But when I'm done, I'm sure the boy Simon'll like me
Everybody can't act rap, and no matter how real the dream seem
e'rybody can't sing
But, there's another Michael Jordan or Tiger Woods
somewhere right in the hood, plus
Yo you ain't never seen a, meaner team
of tennis players than Venus and Serena
So, it's people like that that helped people like me
And they gave me the courage to sing, so I'ma sing it for ya
[Chorus w/ minor variations]
[Trick Daddy]
I wanna do commercial and TV shows
I wanna blow and sell records like the BeeGees sold
And I don't really need a chaffeur, I don't need a maid or a cook
Just a vacumn cleaner and coasters
And I can cook and clean for myself - with the right promo team
I feel, I can really do big things, and
I could probably write me a book
With all the stuff I got to tell 'em, it's got to be a best seller
And it's way deeper than a Coke and a smile
Why go to schools when the teachers ain't helpin us out?
My art teacher drive a Benz but he ain't bein artistic
I got music second period but the class won't listen
I wanna sing
[Chorus w/ minor variations]
[Trick Daddy over Chorus as it repeats]
So, to all the kids
All the mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers of the world
Y'know? Our kids need encouragement
We need a reason, y'knahmsayin?
Let's show 'em somethin, let's give 'em somethin to look forward to
So all you teachers that ain't doin your job, y'all step aside
Cause I got a little brother and sister that's gon'
grow up one day and be a teacher, and she gon' actually TEACH somethin
Y'know? She gon' make it worth comin to school y'know?
It's deeper than free lunch now
I just wanna sing
I used to be just like you
But thank God, we got greater later

We draft mostly high school kids and we have one of the finest, if not the finest, player development programs and coaching staffs and we teach our players the right way to play. We also have a game plan in scouting, and there are certain types of players that we look for.
A Life in the Theater
There are faces in the darkness
There to see and not be seen.
We are players acting out
“A Midsummer night's Dream”
I am a minor player-
An inconsequential part
Think of me as of a wall
Between two loving hearts
I've learned my choreography
And know my lines by heart.
I hear the music playing-
the thing’s about to start.
Stage love is unending
and best described as blind.
No pair ending up estranged-
the happy ever kind-
The people go home happy
By car or cab or train
And wake up the next morning
To find that nothing’s changed.

A Minor Key
A minor key, a minor key
has really taken over me.
It's got me low, so darned low
as low as I can ever go.
Those saddened tones with its minor 3rds
have influenced what I say with words.
So many days have passed me by
when the minor 3rds have made me cry.
Tomorrow I'll raise them a half tone
to stop the pain that seems to have grown.
Oh sweet music take me back
to a major sound. It's what I lack.

Cricket Is Just Another Game
Cricket just like baseball and football and golf is just another game
And though some great cricket players have won Worldwide fame
Cricket for most cricket fans like followers of all other sports
From their life cares is just an escape of sorts
The praises of sports celebrities millions every day do sing
And nowadays sports Worldwide is a huge thing
And those not in some way involved in sport a minority
At least that is how it does seem to me
I've got nothing against cricket I'd like to make that clear
Though on t v and radio so much of it to see and hear
Like every sport for millions of poor people I am aware
A temporary escape from their lives every care
And cricket after all is just another game
Like every other sport it is much the same.

My Country
My country is above the love,
Your personality is in my country.
We are upset, fully loving and defined,
Like a natural being, a human reality.
Underneath the clouds and the sky full of storms,
My nation speaks to the laughter of lightning,
Loathing our special reality, in my voice.
My county is also a special district,
Of the playing, of sports and other recreation.
We reside here forming slow movements,
Building victorious signals according to the mind.
Like human beings the doctors also wait,
For the signals and lightning bolts
That the country has suffered.

Slavery 2010
Ninety percent heroin
Flood the American market
Ushers the Afghan win
As the victory is now set.
No need for heavy warfare,
Addiction is the noose -
Enslaving the nation there,
Imprisoned in drug abuse.
From big political leaders
Down to normal kids in school,
From sports and big game players
To the rich Hollywood fools.
This is modern day slavery
And the enemy knows his plan,
Heroin chains will always be
A nemesis for the American.
