It is anomalous to hold that in order to convict a man the police cannot extract by force what is in his mind, but can extract what is in his stomach.

It is one thing for the human mind to extract from the phenomena of nature the laws which it has itself put into them; it may be a far harder thing to extract laws over which it has no control.

Broken Wings (Lyrics)
No body known’s who I truly am,
I’ve never felt this way before,
Why do things turn out wrong?
With the way of this open door,
My broken wings were in my back,
Till I let them extract,
I’m flying through the air,
With my hair everywhere,
Why do people have to know?
What do they have to say?
Why can’t they leave me alone?
From now till the end,
My broken wings were in my back,
Till I let them extract,
I’m flying through the air,
With my hair everywhere,
Why do I live like this?
It’s like the world don’t exist,
I and you were we at,
It’s like the day is a fact,
My broken wings were in my back,
Till I let them extract,
I’m flying through the air,
With my hair everywhere,
No body known’s who I truly am,
What do people have to say?
Why do they hide from me?
Are they scared of what they see?
My broken wings were in my back,
Till I let them extract,
I’m flying through the air,
With my hair everywhere,

apj Indonesia’s Torturous Democracy?
Indonesia is a sprawling
archipelago nation
of 237 million people.
Indonesia emerged
from decades
of dictatorship
as recently as 1998.
Indonesia continues
to make
strides toward democracy...
however a weak
limp legal system
continues to be
a hot black spot.
torturing suspects
'the norm' in Indonesia
routine police perks
routine law enforcement
torture suspects convicts
extract corrupt confessions
“Indonesian law enforcers
routinely torture suspects
and convicts to extract
confessions or obtain
information... beatings,
intimidation and rape are
so commonplace they are
considered the norm.”
Jakarta-based Legal Aid Foundation Report
Restaria Hutabarat said the group's report
found police beatings intimidation rape
are commonplace considered routine norm
“few victims believe
they have the right
to lodge complaints”
police intimidation beatings raping suspects
few terrorized victims lodge complaints
Boy Rafli Amar will make changes if necessary
Indonesian National Police Spokesman Col. Boy Rafli Amar
said he would study
a 21-page legal report
would make changes
in the force if necessary.
Make changes in
the Police force
if necessary?
Beatings raping suspects
is not urgent grounds
for necessary changes?
Beatings raping
innocent people
is not a serious
crime when wearing
a badge of immunity?
Are police perks
more honourable
than paying a prostitute
in the world's
largest Islamic nation
a nation shamed?

Servant
I have no right
To give order
I have no right
To extract obedience
I am a mere servant
I am here to serve you
And rendering service
Is my motto.

The Mubarak Torture Regime
Thousands of WikiLeaks
released documents,
diplomatic cables from
2009 and 2010 from
the US embassy in Cairo.
Prove the Barak Obama
administration knew
a dictator Hosni Mubarak
regime held onto power
by terrorizing Egyptians.
US Ambassador Margaret
Scobey in a cable dated
January 15,2009. The letter
calls police brutality “routine
and pervasive” and states that
“police using force to extract
confessions from criminals [is]
a daily event.” A daily shame
written in blood screaming pain
“routine and pervasive” torture.

Did you never wonder why

Without Mercy
A hunter hunts without mercy.
A knight fights without mercy.
Police torture without mercy.
The rapist rapes without mercy.
Traders cheat without mercy.
Robbers rob without mercy.
Authority exploit without mercy.
Physicians extract without mercy.
Being without mercy in all walks.
Man is prey and predators among men.

The trembling withered leaves in an Autumn Eve
The powerless green leaves already decayed
And the strong unsolicited aloof wind takes them away without their consent.
There is no any other option; unless the skeletal trees have to keep quiet against the mysterious unending force of nature.

Orang-Utan
A large ape disappeared from a Zoo
And he has been to one of his friends a former retired politician.
He complains his friend that he wants to extract a tooth.
They went to a dentist and extracted the tooth.
Then the ape said 'I want to see an ophthalmologist.'
On the way the politician said' Don't spend so much money and I have my old spectacles which I used for my whole political career.'
'Better buy a new one that is much corrupted.' Ape replied angrily.
I dedicate this poem to Mr.Nadarajah.Raviraj a popular Sri Lankan/Tamil politician and his bodyguard who were Assassinated in the broad daylight today by unidentified gunmen. The Government has already called the Scotland Yard Police for the Investigation.
