As the only woman, I was able to sit with the officers in front, with a glass of vodka in one hand and a cucumber in the other. That's how I went to my first war.

A glass for the vodka, for the beer a mug, and for the table, cheerful company.
I'm not against vodka - they just asked us. They put out some story about us entertaining international celebrities with vodka, which of course wasn't true.
Your king is your slave.
Woman, get the hand of a man,
Who will make you a woman.
Woman, get the hand of a man,
Who alone makes you a woman.
Woman, get the hand of a man
Who you think makes you alright.
When you get the hand of a man
Don’t think that you are conquered.
When you get the hand of a man,
Don’t think that you are his prey.
When you get the hand of a man,
Remember he will be your slave.
You’re the queen, he not the king.
Slaves only can make you happy.
Be a queen bee of the comb.

The stallion and the mare
Man seeks woman's hand
For her beauty or wallet.
Few men woman's hand
For her valour or command.
Man seeks woman's hand
For her virtues or arts.
Few men seek woman's hand
For her glamour or sports.
A stallion wants a mare
Not as fast as he is in run.

Glass War
Glass war, glass war, glass war, glass war, it's a glass war
Glass war, glass war, it's a glass war
Glass war, glass war
It's a glass war
Cause you can see right through the poisen
It's a glass war
Cause we all know the activeties
It's a glass war
Cause it's made of smoke and mirrors
It's a glass war
It's a glass war
It's a glass war
Cause only poor men are dyin in the
Gas war
Cause we know why it was started
It's an ass war
Cause the president's an asshole
It's an ass war
It's a glass war
It's a gas war
Cause the starters are all victims of the
Glass war
The slogan men were starters of the
Last war
Now the southern men are starters of the
Glass war
It's a Glass War
It's a Glass war
And the shards are gunna start another glass war
And the shards are gunna start another glass war
And the shards are gunna start another glass war
And the shards are gunna start another glass war
And the shards are gunna start another glass war
It's a glass war
It's a glass war

A Woman & A Man
I took a walk today
To where the ocean meets the sky
I thought about the way
They always say love never dies
And as the sun went down
I saw a lovers silhouette
A woman and a man
In a dance I envied them
I thought of you
I loved you so
I dont know why
I let you go
A woman and a man
A love so close
Walk hand in hand
While Im alone
A woman and a man
A love embrace
He turned his head
I saw his face
Could it be you
Yes, it was you
A woman and a man
I had to turn away
I hoped you wouldnt see me there
I thought about the way
You used to say I didnt care
And as you walked on by
I pulled my scarf across my face
And I began to cry
For all the love Id thrown away
But there you were
Like in a dream
You were with her
And not with me
A woman and a man
A love so close
Walk hand in hand
While Im alone
A woman and a man
A love embrace
He turned his head
I saw his face
Could it be you
Yes, it was you
A woman and a man
A woman and a man
A woman and a man
A woman and a man
We were so close. baby
Guess you never know
Just how precious love is
til youve had it and held it
And let it go
A woman and a man
A love so close
Walk hand in hand
While Im alone
A woman and a man
A love embrace
He turned his head
I saw his face
Could it be you
Yes, it was you
A woman and a man
A woman and a man
A woman and a man
A woman and a man

Faith Outlawed Political Oppression
enduring political oppression
without resurrection fibre faith
this then was thorny problem
splinter within pastoral Russian
psyche splinter within rustic mind
an issue not with vodka drunk blind
but appeasement flooded loss of faith
drowned as testament escapism time
that was the point under Communism
during war devastating invasion Nazism
vodka seemed to be fluid Russian soul
without faith cry liquid vodka tears

Glass Memory (Life Poem)
Diamonds of shattered glass sparkle in sunlight,
Grey cobbles contain a memory of past violence,
Was it blood and bone remnants of a car crash,
Or a vodka toast, of a long night of celebration?
Evidence of these past events a glass memory of
Unrecorded pictures, as my feet crunch through,
A brittle history of a Saturday night in Auckland.

If I Was Your Woman
If I were your woman and u were my man
U'd have no other woman
U'd be weak as lamb.
If u had the strength to walk out my door
My love would overrule my sense,
and I'd call u back for more.
If I was your woman,
If I was your woman,
and u were my man.
yeah
She tears u down darling
says you're nothing at all,
but I'll pick u up darling when she lets you fall(cuz)
your like diamond, but she treats u like glass,
yet u beg her to love you.
From me u won't ask.
If I were your woman,
If I were your woman,
If I was your woman,
Here's what I'd do....
I'd never, never, no, no stop loving you
Yeah (yeah)
Um oooh
Life is so crazy
And love is unkind
Because she was first, darling
will she hang on your mind
You're a part of me but you don't even know it
I'm what you need but I'm too afriad to show it.
If I were your woman
If I were your woman
If I were your woman
Here's what I'd do.....
I'd never, never, no, no stop loving you.
If I were your woman
Here's what I'd do....
I'd never, never, never stop loving you
If i were your woman,
if i were your woman,
if i were your woman,
if i were your woman,
if i were your woman.

Sexual sites
Women’s eyes will fall on man’s shoulders.
Men’s eyes will fall on woman’s breasts.
Man’s nose strikes woman and woman’s cheek, man.
They both fix their eyes on each other’s waist down.
Thus each enjoys harmless sex, front to front
In every gathering or meeting.

In memory of a certain RSM
The band was already playing
a marching song
and officers, non-commissioned ranks
and troops spotless
in berets, browns and shining boots
marched and halted in perfect unison
on the parade ground.
With a flat hat like a chauffeur,
or maybe like the baggage man
at the hotel
with visor just above his eyes,
dressed in step outs
he drove the Mercedes Benz
through the gate
to the parking aria
next to the parade grounds
bringing it to a elegant halt,
jumped out and walked
right to the back door
bended double and opened it
to let a lady and younger woman out.
Then with pace stick
swinging to and fro
on he came like the leader
of the band
but in control
of the whole parade,
set over officers outranking him
waving the stick in his hand,
walking up and down
like a huge red faced clown.

Woman with man is a sphere.
Woman, get a man’s hand.
That will make you a woman;
That alone makes you a woman
And that will make you alright.
When the days lead to nights
And the hand turns off light,
You will find yourself in delight.
Woman, get a man’s hand.
Otherwise you are a hemisphere.

Chauvinist
I’d never really comprehended such a mighty range of
Shapes and sizes down behind, it’s really rather strange:
The buttock muscle in a woman, overlaid with fat
Is actually such a focal point for men to want to pat
Or squeeze, and then to tease her if it’s eminently stout,
Or even risk a stay in clink to sting it with a clout!
After all, we men are tuned to be that way inclined –
And tho’ our needs are varied, girls, they’re all perverse of mind!
Best of all, our sacred dream: to see her shed her gown
When gliding to the shower for the ritual sponging down.
But then alas! With body lathered, oops! she drops the soap;
‘Please! ’ we beg her, ‘bend and bare! ’ But we can only hope!
I’m sure by now you get the picture – like a rule of thumb –
That men like me obsess all day about the fairer bum.

The Optimistic Cucumber
Once upon a time
There lived a cheerful cucumber
In a lovely vegetable garden.
Optimistic and happy in its green dress,
The cucumber was born toothless;
Yet it made a firm decision to resist
The learned advice to visit a dentist.
In the garden the days quickly trickled
And on an early summer morning
The cucumber timidly asked
Its gentle neighbor and kin,
A yellow and plump pumpkin:
"Excuse me, but don't you think,
That you are a little fat? "
"Oh, I don't mind to be like that
After all I am not an adipose cat.
And besides, as a humble pumpkin
I would be embarrassed truly
Not to be as I am, corpulently brave
And unflinchingly yours, roly-poly."
Then suddenly a jolly July breeze
Blew through the morning garden
And the gardener stepped in warbling.
He praised his good luck
And surveyed several vegetables
Ripened with sun shine to pluck.
And thus before the clock
Struck a forenoon ten, unbiased,
The wholesome cucumber ended up
In a glorious Greek salad for breakfast.
Still, just before being eaten like that,
It turned to the pumpkin and said:
"Remember this beautiful garden
With its comely butterflies unfurled
And never-ever lose your faith
In the goodness of the world."
