Those from whose pocket the salary is drawn, and by whose appointment the officer was made, have always a right to discuss the merits of their officers, and their modes of exercising the duties they are paid to perform.

Let there be no reservation or doubt that I believe the Senate should vote on each and every judicial appointment made by the President of the United States and that no rule or procedure should ever stop the Senate from exercising its constitutional responsibility.

Dharma Chakra
What Buddha set in motion,
The Wheel of Dharma
Was already, always in motion.
We used to discuss, with scorn,
The retired officers charging fee
To procure a meeting with us.
Now after retirement while
Doing consultancy, we charge
A higher fee for meeting officers!
I do feel sorry that I thought ill
Of them then, and so now if others
In the chair think ill of me, let them.
The circle will complete for everyone:
Only there is a season for everything,
As laid down in the Ecclesiastes.

When an actor comes to me and wants to discuss his character, I say, 'It's in the script.' If he says, 'But what's my motivation?, ' I say, 'Your salary.'

The Real
I know the sun's around
To wake the dead
You've got if anything
A bigger head
Most likely to perform
Was who I knew
But now it's you that I have to know
Silly who ya know
Has got away
Sweet little who ya know
Lives in L.A.
Most likely to conceive
Was who I knew
But now it's you that I have to know
Only the real world
Is so unreal
Only the real is real
Pocket the business card
Be on your way
Pocket the smiling face
And save the day
Most likely to perform
Was who I knew
But now it's you that I have to know
Only the real world is so unreal
Only the real is real

On the March to Sinopi
Mithridatis, glorious and powerful,
ruler of great cities,
master of strong armies and fleets,
on the march to Sinopi took a route
through a remote part of the country
where a soothsayer lived.
Mithridatis sent one of his officers
to ask the soothsayer how much more wealth,
how much more power, he'd accumulate in the future.
He dispatched one of his officers,
then continued his march to Sinopi.
The soothsayer withdrew into a secret room.
About a half an hour later he came out
troubled, and said to the officer:
"I wasn't able to clarify things very well.
Today is not a propitious day—
there were some murky shadows, I didn't understand them fully—.
But, I think, the king should be content with what he has.
Anything more will prove dangerous for him.
Remember, officer, to tell him that:
for God's sake to be satisfied with what he has.
Fortune changes suddenly.
Tell King Mithridatis this:
it's extremely rare to come across anyone like his ancestor's companion,
that noble companion who wrote in the earth with his lance
those timely words that saved him: ‘Escape, Mithridatis.' "

The Small Ant
The small ant
calling me and
telling how
Its duties
Are perfect
And I am looking
For the alphabet.
The ant is wrong
I am not telling
The ant is doing
Bravely and
It is right
No body is there
To say.
Not easy to say
Not easy to add
Flavor and fuel
Not easy to
Perform duties
Pefectly
And it is not easy
To do anything
Concrete
Day in and day out.

A Moaning Minnie
The old fusspot was tall and lean
but strong and rich men ran off seeing him.
Unbearable were his hurting remarks,
his wife would be a guest often to her sisters.
Every word he uttered made the hearer to shudder.
He would make a hill out of a molehill.
Women gave him more respect, or else
he would be spreading rumours against them.
His verbal assaults scared his fellow teachers.
As he would skip classes and idle in the staff-room,
all others ran off to take classes.
If anybody skived off a class, he would yell:
' You'll be receiving this day's salary as graft'.
His son was afraid of him but his daughter feared him.
When he was bed-ridden once, nobody turned up to see him;
He warned everybody by phone, saying:
' You'll also fall ill.No dog will call on you'
When an officer issued him orders of transfer,
he sat before the office with a cane full of petrol,
shouting, he would immolate against bribery in the office.
The officer cancelled the orders and sent him back.
My God! How many old gits like this one

When Is Your Next Appointment?
So alone goes those needs,
One keeps secretly.
To wish for someone to exist...
Knowing already what 'sits'
On their minds that resist,
An unwinding of thoughts...
Kept and left unspoken!
Leaving them heartbroken.
As they try to convince...
No one cares about their sentiments.
Or show an interest,
To probe for treasures...
Buried deep!
Locked...
Although unchained to be discovered,
By someone on a whim...
Accidently appearing,
To unearth a 'gem'
In an announced expedition!
And these are the folks,
Who say they have never found true love!
Or someone who takes the time,
To find their true qualities.
'I paid a psychiatrist one hundred dollars per hour.
And he got right to the point!
I was told my anticipations did not measure up,
To my expectations.
And my demands were masked by my perceived flaws!
So I have shortened my interview process,
And exchanged my demands for preferences!
Hoping to at least be asked out on a date,
To discuss them with my future mate! '
When is your next appointment?
'Why?
I haven't made one yet! '
Make another.
You will need it!

Officer Blue
Officer blue,
Really love the things you do,
Even when I was just eight years.
Officer blue,
Is it true what they say?
That when you work youre still at play.
Oh officer blue,
I really love the things you do.
Its magical,
People in a human zoo.
Officer blue,
Cast a shadow on the wall,
But by torchlight even mice look tall.
Officer blue,
In a blaze of uniform,
And your stripes and badges to conform.
Officer blue,
Really love the things you do,
Even when I was just eight years old.
Officer blue,
Is it true what they say?
That when you work youre still at play.
