How these curiosities would be quite forgot, did not such idle fellowes as I put them down.

I Forgot my childhood

I forgot the streets in which I used to walk……
I forgot the senseless things I used to talk…….

I forgot the joy of completing all homework……
After which I had no other work…..

I forgot the nights thunder would scare…....
On toys when I used to stare………..

I forgot the time I used to play…..
With dust and clay

I Forgot

Hey, it’s been so long since I have seen you.
I had to think awhile just to remember you.
I forgot the brightness in your smile.
I forgot gleam that shines in your eyes.
I forgot the soft sweet taste of your lips.
I forgot the way you used to make me move my hips.
But wait minute before you try to ease in my arms.
Because I do remember why we did part.
I remember the harsh names that you used to call me.
I remember the hurt you used to cause me.
I remember the last time we were together and you
nearly choked me to death. So you can keep
on walking cause the abuse I remember.
Don’t you even think that I forgot?

Heat Leaps and Engulfs

I had a need to have what I wanted.
Diluted substitutes...
Had no priority in my mind,
To adjust to get use to...
Not here to quiet my curiosities.
I had a need to have what I wanted.

'Be thankful for what you have.'
My wonderful mother always said to me.
As she teased my sisters...
And me,
Why should we settle for second best?
Although...

'Be thankful for what you have.'

You see how the teasing of a test,
Can infest as it manifests?
Few settle for less,
When the mind has been awakened,
To know...
Better,
By suggestion.

I had a need to have what I wanted.
Diluted substitutes...
Had no priority in my mind,
To adjust to get use to...
Not here to quiet my curiosities.
I had a need to have what I wanted.
And to get!

And did what I could to find it.
Only to discover something even better...
Every time I thought my wants and needs,
Were fulfilled to satisfy a complacency.
Although never succumbed by compliancy.
Where is the winning done...
When choosing between dilemmas?

Hmmm...
Desires and fires are like whims without end.
Heat leaps and engulfs,
Those hungry and compassionate.
And ready...
To blaze!

How

I want to be a great poet
But how I forgot word sentence
Letter grammer so on and so on.
I want to say my story your story
But how I forgot the home the body
land water air sky fire so on and so on.
I do not want to be here at this moment
But how I forgot to live in the playground
With the children with the buds of garden.
I do not to go anywhere at any point of time
But how I forgot to explain the reason
That are within that I have not done.

Siege

Your love threw me
In the land of wonders.
It took me by surprise
From my neck
While I was
At my preferred café,
At my preferred table,
While I was teasing my poems,
While my poems were teasing me.
I forgot my preferred café
And I forgot my preferred table
I forgot my poems
I forgot whom I was teasing
And who was teasing me.
.
Your love surprised me
While I was reading my hand
For luck
And fate.
I forgot my hand,
I forgot my luck,
And I forgot my fate.

Your love invaded me
the same way a tsunami
Invaded the moon
In its ecliptic wedding
With the sun.
I woke up weak
Thirsty,
And thirty million light years faraway
From my birth galaxy.
I forgot the moon,
I forgot the sun,
I forgot the wedding
And I forgot my birth galaxy.

Your love surprised me
Like the Christ surprised the ancient world
I forgot Christ
And I forgot the ancient world.

Cupid's Statue

He's but a child, tho
Unscathed he'd not be
Who despiseth him.
Gods so pompous
Were made to cavort
Where they wanted not;
When he wished it,
A king, his own
Estate fast forgot;
A lord of lords, he!
Foul, beasts and fishes
Ever do serve him;
'Tis each man tho,
His ruin can cause,
If idle he lays not.

The comeback kid (song)

The comeback kid
~
I walked into am ambush I was overrun
Got caught out by feelings and thoughts
Led to into a limbo dance I became mystified
And this was just the beginning
~
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a comeback to behold
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a place to come back to
~
They say in every song there is a story
In every poem a tale is hid from view
The are many things we will come to say
And I guess that is just our little way
~
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a comeback to behold
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a place to come back to
~
Now where do we go from here
It’s a situation I am not used to
I’m all confused I have no clue
Can you take my hand, lead me from here
To where’ve you wish to
~
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a comeback to behold
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a place to come back to
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a comeback to behold
I forgot about love, then remembered you
What a place to come back to

Idle in June

She dares not let the world hear her speak,
She's getting thin and looking meek,
A grey hair is splitting in her widows peak
She lays idle in the month of June.

Her hands are cracked and stained from mud,
although she bathes in lathered suds
There's a little of me inside her blood
She lays idle in the month of June

She carries child at her old age,
She's stuck inside her fleshy cage,
Her father birthed her insidious rage
She lays idle in the month of June.

They locked her in a cell up high,
The crime of seeking suicide
Some women they are born only to die,
She lays idle in the month of June.

One day, I know, I'll see her soon,
How I loathe the month of June,
We'll met again come the next new moon,
I won't forget her, idle in the month of June.

Seven

I forgot what my father said
I forgot what he said
I forgot what my mother said
As we layed on your bed
A city full of flowers
A city full of rain
I got seven days to live my life or seven ways to die
I forgot what my brother said
I forgot what he said
I dont regret anything at all
I remember how he wept
On a bridge of violent people
I was small enough to cry
I got seven days to live my life or seven ways to die
Hold my face before you
Still my trembling heart
Seven days to live my life or seven ways to die
The gods forgot they made me
So I forgot them to
I listen to their shadows
I play among their graves
My heart is never broken
My patience never tried
I got seven days to live my life or seven ways to die
Seven days to live my life or saven ways to die

My Way

I was made early to be aware of my uniqueness.
And the feeling of being distanced.
But my curiosities about life...
Had too many questions.
I had asked them.
And I wanted them answered.

And I am very demanding...
If I am here to fulfill the will of my Father...
Somebody is coming up with some answers.
And I am not in the mood to play....
'Let's blindfold the ghost chasers'.

'Feeling a 'little' touchy?
Like 'you' da only one, huh? '

No, Father.
It is not like that at all.

'Then wassup?
What's goin on with the 'mope'?
Snap, crackle and pop out of it! '

I was made early to be aware of my uniqueness.
And the feeling of being distanced.
But my curiosities about life...
Had too many questions.
I had asked them.
And I wanted them answered.

And sometimes, my Father...
I think You are the one there,
For play.
At our expense.

'Let's just say...
I prefer things done My way!
Thanks, Frank...
For delivering My sentiments,
Exactly!

I'm out...From Brutha G!
Welcoming you to have your peace.
Delivered to you on the Inside!
Where I am 'in' and 'out' as well!
Butr now...
I'M Out! '

It was Paul!

'Paul?
What are you talking about? '

Anka. Anka!

'And...
Is it still not MY Way? '

I Forgot More Than Youll Ever Know

I forgot more than youll ever know about her.
You think you know the smile on her lips
The thrill and the touch of her fingertips
But I forgot more than youll ever know about her.
You think youll find heaven of bliss
In each caress, in each tender kiss
But I forgot more than youll ever know about her.
You stole her love from me one day
You didnt care, oh, it hurt me
But you can never steal away memories of what used to be.
You think shes yours, to have and to hold
Someday youll learn, when her love grows cold
But I forgot more than youll ever know about her.

Forget me not

You and I bathed in the same pool.
There were many flashes and splashes.
I remember and you may have forgot.

Hide and seek that we have played many.
There were delights: no matter who won.
I remember and you may have forgot.

Heaven or Hell, both had been the same
When you lay on my arms, facing me
I remember and you may have forgot.

You were later shown a rosy branch
To perch on and you did it at a stretch.
I remember and you may have forgot

To have you back, the branch must die.
To leave you in peace, I must leave.
Let me go and you forget me not.

Let Us Forget

He lost his parents
In communal riots
But he forgot it!

Acquired was his fertile tract
For a paltry amount
But he forgot it

He has to fast many a night
Unable to meet rising costs
But he forgot it

Shattered were hold-fasts
Of many a proletariat
But they all forgot

Nothing to surprise at all
It is easy in this democratic State
To keep people in a hypnotic state

Today they each got
A hundred rupee note
And a couple of
Arrack packets
Tomorrow is an auspicious date
They are going to cast
Their precious votes

Beside The Idle Summer Sea

Beside the idle summer sea,
And in the vacant summer days,
Light Love came fluting down the ways,
Where you were loitering with me.

Who have not welcomed even as we,
That jocund minstrel and his lays
Beside the idle summer sea
And in the vacant summer days?

We listened, we were fancy-free;
And lo! in terror and amaze
We stood alone – alone and gaze
With an implacable memory
Beside the idle summer sea.

Did You Forget?

You come everyday,
as my night's dream..
When you come, my
heart fills to the brim.
My sleeping eyelashes,
quiver and eyeballs swim
in the sea of unknown
country with your whim.
You stride with me
in my every walk.
In my joyful days,
as my wistful luck.
I know, it's a mirage,
in the desert and
nothing but a reverie,
of day in ocean of sand.
You forgot me, and
forgot forever so to say-
Did you forget me really,
that you forgot my birthday? ? ?
