We get a ton of email; everybody does now. It gives us a kind of a pulse that you can feel.We hear people saying, thank you for being fair, for being balanced.

Email Someone
You wonder
What will happen
If you email someone.
Maybe nothing!
And then you may feel
Terrible.
Email someone
Just once
And you may get nothing.
But if you keep doing it
In a safe and sensible manner?
Why that is the way
One of the highways
Out of loneliness!

For example, I was discussing the use of email and how impersonal it can be, how people will now email someone across the room rather than go and talk to them. But I don't think this is laziness, I think it is a conscious decision people are making to save time.

Rhythmistic Pulse
One, two, three...
Rhythmistic pulse.
Rhythmistic pulse.
Rhythmistic pulse.
Rhythmistic pulse.
Rhythmistic people...
Feel within a flow of a beat,
With a rhythm pulsed.
With a rhythm pulsed.
Rhythmistic people...
Find it easy patting their feet,
With a rhythm pulsed.
With a rhythm pulsed.
And...
Harmonizing with a life that's reached,
For the sounds of nature.
With a rhythm pulsed.
Rhythmistic people...
Feel within a flow of a beat,
With a rhythm pulsed.
With a rhythm pulsed.
And...
Harmonizing with a life that's reached,
For the sounds of nature.
One, two, three...
Rhythmistic pulse.
Rhythmistic pulse.
And...
Harmonizing with a life that's reached,
For the sounds of nature.
With a rhythm pulsed.
And...
Harmonizing with a life that's reached,
For the sounds of nature.
One, two, three...
Rhythmistic pulse.
Rhythmistic pulse.
Rhythmistic pulse.
Rhythmistic,
One, two, three...
Rhythmistic pulse.
Rhythmistic pulse.
Rhythmistic pulse.

Remedy? See it, Read It And Delete
Why send a message,
With an expectation to receive a response.
If your 'email' box is full and blocked.
And when you confront people,
You ask of them...
Why has their communication stopped.
Why bother to have email at all?
If this instant way of keeping in touch,
Is quicker than making a telephone call.
Or if someone says,
'I answered your message...
Why haven't you responded? '
And that person says...
~Time has prevented me to do it.~
And this is the same person heard to say...
~No one ever tells me what's going on.
And if they did...
I haven't reviewed my email for weeks.~
Remedy?
See it, read it and delete!

Stifle Rave and Rant
Some people
(who can’t be identified)
Say some things
(that can’t be verified)
That passes for news that’s
(rarified, bullied and) terrified.
Some people say
Liberals are always wrong
Past, future and present.
Some people say
They pigeonhole wrong
people like pheasant.
Some people say
“Some people say
Liberals? - unpleasant.”
Some people say
“Some people say
Liberals? - mamby pamby.”
Wrong people say
Fair and balanced
Fox News can’t be.
Some people say
Some people and
Wrong people can’t
Sit somewhere and
Talk, and stifle
Rave and rant.
Some people grind
Opinion sausage at
A shiny plant.
An elephant shows
Greater respect for
A tiny ant.
Sit somewhere and
Talk, and stifle
Rave and rant.
So couch people
Can watch decent
Fair and gallant
People get cast
By some people
As wrong. Wrong-ized.
Richard Clarke, for one
Comes to mind. Wrong
For having apologized!

If There's A God
If there's a God that God is for everybody and in every good person that God you will find
And if there's a God that God is not judgemental but understanding very wise and kind
The fundimentalists say that their God is a true God and those who pray to other Gods to false Gods pray
The true God than their God must be far kinder a far superior God in every way,
Some people who are spiritual as well as quite wise say there's only one God and that's the God within
And that God is ever kind and none judgemental and capable of forgiving even mortal sin
The God men wage war for is not a true God and many go to war in their God's name
A true God would not need them as worshippers war to a true God would be a thing of shame
If there's a God that God is a kind spirit and far greater than the God's we hear about
He even could embrace the non believers and give them the benefit of any doubt
The Gods we hear about they do seem cruel Gods so egotistical in their own way
An eye for an eye does seem for to appease them for everyone's life a true God respect would pay
And if there's a God that God is for all people unlike the God that humankind create
A God who believes on a fair go for all people and the only God we ought to celebrate.

A Fair Go For All Is Something We Should Embrace
For every Nationality and every race
A fair go for all is something we should embrace
A fair go for everyone of every creed
The right to a fair go everyone does need
From politicians negatives we so often hear
And xenophobia is one surely born of fear
But people of goodwill of all races know
That the World would be worse off without a fair go
For every child, every woman and every man
Of every race and of every clan
where racism is rife there is disharmony
And for the good in others we must look to see
And broadminded people can never be small
They believe in the cause of a fair go for all.

Penseroso
Soulless is all humanity to me
To-night. My keenest longing is to be
Alone, alone with God's grey earth that seems
Pulse of my pulse and consort of my dreams.
To-night my soul desires no fellowship,
Or fellow-being; crave I but to slip
Thro' space on space, till flesh no more can bind,
And I may quit for aye my fellow kind.
Let me but feel athwart my cheek the lash
Of whipping wind, but hear the torrent dash
Adown the mountain steep, 'twere more my choice
Than touch of human hand, than human voice.
Let me but wander on the shore night-stilled,
Drinking its darkness till my soul is filled;
The breathing of the salt sea on my hair,
My outstretched hands but grasping empty air.
Let me but feel the pulse of Nature's soul
Athrob on mine, let seas and thunders roll
O'er night and me; sands whirl; winds, waters beat;
For God's grey earth has no cheap counterfeit.

Not Fair
Its not fair how people get treated
whether its race, religion, looks, style
they still get treated unequal
people are the same its not fair
put downs, hate crimes, etc.
its not fair people are people
well at least you would think
a single person feels the pain on others
so why do people do it?
its not fair
nothings fair

Fiddle Riddle
Once stood a man on my face
Ooh yeah, on my face
Gobbled him up cause my taste
Leaves nothing to waste
Hear the riddle that I say
Hear the riddle that I say
What is fair is fair
That is fair and square
To me
Piano it marks the good pace
Ooh yeah, the good pace
Dont know if its right, but I like the bass
So turn up the bass
Hear the fiddles as they play
Hear the fiddles as they play
What is fair is fair
And the guitar player
No metal, no brick, was no trace
Oh, no, was no trace
But machines moved on and still chased
No particular place
Hear the riddle that I say
Hear the riddle that I say
What is fair is fair
That is fair and square
To me
What is fair is fair
That is fair and square
To me

Your letter is beautiful
Your letter is beautiful
and tells about things deep in your heart
but what lies between the lines
are unnamed things
that you are saying anyway.
To eagerly I want you
here with me
and it’s as if you
cannot untie time
to make yesterday
today again.
Sometimes you email
and at times I email you
and life takes its course
and like somebody raving
I feel caught in it all
as if there’s always a goodbye
between you and I
and the letter
ends much too quickly.

Dont Say It To My Face
when you broke up with me
you did it over email
why couldn't you just tell me?
you have no respect
i would have rather you said it to my face
then email it to me
that we are over

Capital City
Nerve and nerve
This coastline swerves
To a city that they live on
I walk on by
Animals cry
To a city that they live on
To a city that they walk on
To a city that they live on
Pulse feel pulse
This train is late
I hesitate
To a city that they live on
Dance the dance of violence
To a city that they live on
To a city that they crawl on
To a city that they live on
Pulse feel pulse
City that they live on
Feel
To a city that they crawl on
To a city live on
Feel
City that they crawl on

Driving Me Crazy
No matter where you go Ill be there
No matter where you hide Ill find you
Ill be there looking through the window watching everything you do
Theres no escaping me
Ill be like your worst enemy
Im right behind you every place you run to Ill be there with you
Cos being without you is driving me crazy
Oh I just dont know what to do
Yes being without you is driving me crazy
Cos all I want is you .
And I like it
If all the worlds a stage and we are,
Were only just two crazy players
Please understand why I just cant go on without you anymore
Theres no escaping me
I want you back, cant you see
Im losing all control and cannot guarantee my sanity
Cos being without you is driving me crazy
And I dont know what to do
Yes being without you is driving me crazy
Cos all I want is you
Being without you is driving me crazy
I dont know how long Ill last
Being without you is driving me crazy
Feel my pulse its going so fast
You, youre driving me crazy
Me, Im out of my mind
You, youre making me crazy
Me, Im running out of time
I am your conscience, Im your guide
I know just what you feel inside
I share your darkest thoughts with you but share no consequences for them
Theres no escaping me
Im with you while you sleep
I hear your lies, I hear your truth
I hear you speak before you do
But being without you is driving me crazy
And I dont know what to do
Yes being without you is driving me crazy
Cos all I want is you
Being without you is driving me crazy
I dont know how long Ill last
Being without you is driving me crazy
Feel my pulse its going so fast

Sir Duke
Music is a world within itself
With a language we all understand
With an equal opportunity
For all to sing, dance and clap their hands
But just because a record has a groove
Dont make it in the groove
But you can tell right away at letter a
When the people start to move
They can feel it all over
They can feel it all over people
They can feel it all over
They can feel it all over people
Music knows it is and always will
Be one of the things that life just wont quit
But here are some of musics pioneers
That time will not allow us to forget
For theres basie, miller, satchmo
And the king of all sir duke
And with a voice like ellas ringing out
Theres no way the band can lose
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
You can feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
I can feel it all over-all over now people
Cant you feel it all over
Come on lets feel it all over people
You can feel it all over
Everybody-all over people

The Declining Art Of Communication
We all seem to be living our lives
At an ever increasing pace.
We are finding less and less time
To meet up with people face to face.
You often read stories in the press,
About people being fired or dumped by text.
The way in which we communicate has changed so much,
That you do find yourself wondering 'Whatever next? '
There are some things, which by text or email,
You just really shouldn't say:
Like, if you're telling someone that they're no longer wanted,
Or that someone they know has just passed away.
You can check your email at your leisure,
Unlike if someone contacts you by phone,
But like they say, it's good to talk,
So you really shouldn't moan.
I love receiving letters on fancy paper from my friends,
And hear them dropping through my letterbox,
But the whole idea of 'snail' as opposed to email,
Is a concept which, nowadays, is often mocked.
If you're talking face to face,
You're less likely to get the wrong impression.
You can connect more to people's thoughts and feelings,
If you are able to read their facial expressions.
Tackling a sensitive subject with someone,
Often has us trembling with fear,
But is it really better for it to be discussed
Electronically, rather than ear to ear?
Sometimes, you can spend hours together,
During which time, very little of importance is said.
Then, later, you log on to your computer,
And discover all the gossip is on there instead!
If you put all of your news on Facebook,
You may find your face to face conversation is suddenly dead.
When you next meet up with someone and mention your news,
They will turn to you, and say 'Yeah, you said'!
The world of communication has come on in leaps and bounds,
But, in some ways, it has advanced too much.
Communication can now be so impersonal,
That we seem to have lost the human touch.

All's Fair in Love and War
Going on instinct, wanting to survive
you kill all people both low and high
you hide from sunlight for darkness is your only friend
you must survive no matter what until this war ends
do not feel guitly for the people now dead
they were going to kill you, remember the old quote said
all is fair in love and war and war it is indeed
any tool to survive is all that is in need
now lets move on to love a new kind of sin
doing anything for her to win
her tendernouse and love not knowing what you did
you killed lied and played the others after her in the compatition
you do not feel guilty remembering the truest quote
all is fair in love and war and love is what you value most
she will never know and you cant cheat
all the men that you have beat
love and war, war and love there is no difference
anything to live on is all men commence
so if you come across a man in love or war remember their only quote
all is fair in love and war and they will always boast
that there are no rules so there is no way to cheat
so if you come across a man in love or war, stay out of the way or you surely will be beat

A Love Above Loves
When I think of you
I think of a certain kind of love
When I hear your name
I hear a certain kind of love
When I look at you
I see a certain kind of love
When I hold you
I hold a certain kind of love
When I kiss you
I kiss a certain kind of love
When I touch you
I touch a certain kind of love
When I fell in love with you
I fell in love with a certain kind of love
When I'm with you
I'm with a certain kind of love
When I'm wrapped up in you
I'm wrapped up in a certain kind of love
This certain kind of love
Is stronger than love
It is a transcended state
A love that can only be gifted from above
A love that is greater than any other love
This certain kind of love
Is strong and true
This certain kind of love
Makes two people stay true
This certain kind of love
Can never be extinguished
I believe that we have this kind of love
A love so true
Maybe not love at first sight
But I do believe that I was meant for you
Do you believe it too?
This certain kind of love
Is a love above loves
This certain kind of love
Is a true love
So true

I Can Feel Him In The Morning
Child 1:
He kind of started all the plants growing, and he started people. well, I guess hes kind of big and fat.
Child 2:
He can see us wherever we do ... whatever we do. he has such powerful eyes -- he has to have millions and thousands and billions. and he can still see us when were bad.
Child 3:
He could be sitting on the table right now, but you cant see him.
Child 4:
He cant be everywhere at once doing everything for everybdy. everybody cant get what they want.
Child 5:
Well, his job is to make us good and to make us happy and make us parents happy.
Child 6:
Good is the right thing and bad is the wrong thing.
Child 7:
When Im good my mother never yells at me, when Im bad she does.
Child 8:
Good means to obey your mother and father, to do what the teacher says -- the things right. I feel miserable when Im ... when Im bad, I feel miserable on the inside but, on the outside, I just
Like I ... I feel now.
Child 9:
I think ... um, um ... there are more people that are bad than there are good. and, um ... if youre good, youll live forever. and, if youre bad, youll die when you die ... (repeat last sente
Wo more times to fade in echo)
Take me down to the water, let me feel it run over me.
Let me feel the pain and the coldness, the loneliness that there must be.
Whoa, cant you see their dreams, as they go drifting by?
Whoa, cant you see their faces, and their tear-soaked eyes?
Chorus
I can feel him in the morning, I can feel him in the evening too.
I can hear him in the morning, tellin me what I got to do.
Got to make a new world, ought to make the old one right.
I can see him in the morning, I can see him in the stars at night.
Take me out to the battlefield, let me hear the shells flying by.
Let me hear the sound of the cannons, let me hear them scream and cry.
Whoa, cant you hear their dreams, as they tumble to the blood-soaked ground?
Whoa, hear them scream for shelter, from the world they never found.
Chorus
Oooo, oooo, oooo, oooo-ooo. (repeated out to end)

It's Kind of Funny
It's kind of funny how those who want life get it taken away,
while those who loathe it wander around.
Almost as if a waste.
It's kind of funny how those who try to do right get it spit back in their face.
The bad walk among us as if to be common people.
They, they get your respect.
It's kind of funny the people you love, they're usually the fall of you.
They say they're there for you but always somehow make you feel worthless.
It's kind of funny how everything can end so fast.
Everything can just disappear.
It's kind of funny how I wish I never met you.
I wish I could tell you.
I wish we could be.
And I wish that everything wasn't so funny and that everything could be what it is.
It's kind of funny how me and you,
we don't matter.
What I say and do will always be funny to you.
It's no longer funny.
