I have strong views about South African politics and I still don't feel I need to make public statements.

Meanwhile, politics is about getting a candidate in front of the public as a star, politics as rock'n'roll, politics as a movie.

Peculiarity Of The Judges
Issuing statements,
The peculiarity of the judges;
But i do hope that,
You will identify the clear boundaries.
Of my views being heard and,
Of your views being noted;
But the right of association is what you need;
For, this image will seek for your welfare,
But try to fight the corruption around you.

My belief is the majority of people in politics are just interested in pursuing this career in politics, and doing what's necessary to get themselves re-elected. And if that happens to coincide with the public good, great. But if it doesn't, the public good loses out.

Politics What I Understand
Politics is: process of transfer
to the politicians, of public power;
Science of public reigning
and government running;
Formulation of regulation and policy
to apply on, and reign the public
leaving escape door for them
and those who overwhelm;
Keeping nearest groups satisfied
and other groups pacified;
Seeing public in difficulty
being apathy but showing sympathy;
Politically remove all those
In way of their whim who arose:
To show malign image of opposition party
and join their dinner party;
This is what I could understand
Politics is like tusks of elephant.

Just Too Much
A discussion of politics and I fall asleep, voices
droning about boring facts - after I had my say
about Greece and destitute refugees in the Cote
d’Ivoire, we watch another documentary about
solar power to save us from nuclear disaster
I black out, a solicitous colleague shakes me awake
I wriggle in my seat; next week, our enthusiastic
teacher says, each must do a speech on South
African politics discussing the party of their choice
in detail – I give up, resigned I decide
I cannot attend this class, I shall completely lose
my mind in the boredom of this, will have to flee
the subject of politics as it drives me insane, the
stink of inefficient states and the self-serving
politicians defrauding their own people
Is just too much…

Remember the Ridiculous?
Remember the ridiculous?
When outrageous public statements made,
Were attributed to those considered nonconformists.
Or at least depicted as militant with violent wishes!
And were silenced quick wherever they dared to sit.
Remember the heights achieved by those self righteous?
The ones who quoted from scriptures and knew what sinning meant.
The ones who declared a separation of church and politics.
And spoke of family values and deplored decadence.
With hints they were chosen and others lived to be blasphemous!
Rewind these actions and tell me this...
Whose standards vowed are at a crisis now?
Who authorized the lives we live?
While standing by to watch...
Chaos rise to become prioritized as top notch!
With excuses to make and pointing fingers to give!
Remember the ridiculous?
When outrageous public statements made,
Were attributed to those considered nonconformists.
Or at least depicted as militant with violent wishes!
And were silenced quick wherever they dared to sit.
And those making the most noise today...
Protest loudly in disarray!
In groups to influence and convince in their dismay...
They represent the people who are of conservative ways.
Remember the ridiculous?
When terrorists were thought to ride camels...
And not be Ivy league graduates,
On shores who condoned and promoted this!
With only greed and the economy as the main interest.
Too bad the borders can not be secured,
By those who are staunch racists!

African Spirit
Unfortunately, I will not stop,
Across Africa, I will travel with this African face,
My African pride,
And my African story.
I saw your face in Zimbabwe;
Then I saw it again in South Africa.
You smiled at me in Malawi,
Why were you surprise to see me again in Angola?
I carry the African song,
Listen to soulful rhythems from within.
I have an African heart,
With lots of love and pain, it won't part.
Your African face smiles at me with inspiration,
Across Africa and the world, give me an ear;
I speak an African language.
Someday you will know my love,
Someday you will sing my song,
Someday you will hold my heart;
Someday you will cry the same tears in my eyes.
Someday you will relieve my pain,
One day you will understand me.
Someday you will join my fight an we'll make Africa our pride.

I'm an American, and always will be. I happen to love that big, awkward, sprawling country very much — and its big, awkward, sprawling people. Anyway, I don't like politics; and I don't make "political gestures" … I don't even believe in politics. To me, politics is like one of those annoying, and potentially dangerous (but generally just painful) chronic diseases that you just have to put up with in your life if you happen to have contracted it. Politics is like having diabetes. It's a science, a catch-as-catch-can science, which has grown up out of simple animal necessity more than anything else. If I were twice as big as I am, and twice as physically strong, I think I'd be a total anarchist.

I wanted the feel in these books to be like an epic fantasy, with kings, queens, dukes and court politics, but of course like what I was explaining before, about making the science make sense, you have to make the politics make sense, too.

Electric
(john farrar)
From the beginning I was on to you
But like a magnet I was drawn to you
Dont leave me waiting here in the dark
Switch off the static of a broken heart
Were holding a live wire,dont let it go
Not before you know-
You make me feel electric
You turn everthing on
You make me feel electric
Your connection is strong
You make me feel electric
I dont want it to stop
You make me feel electric
Im still in shock
Its not your look thats getting through to me
Its what your human hands can do to me
You have a power to shake me up
Your touch is all it takes to wake me up
Were holding a live wire,dont let it go
Not before you know-
You make me feel electric
You turn everthing on
You make me feel electric
Your connection is strong
You make me feel electric
I dont want it to stop
You make me feel electric
Im still in shock
I never thought Id want this kind of affection
You are the exception-oh no
Ah,you make me feel electric
You turn everthing on
You make me feel electric
Your connection is strong
You make me feel electric
I dont want it to stop
You make me feel electric
Im still in shock
You make me feel electric
You make me feel electric
Your connection is strong
You make me feel electric
Im still in shock
You make me feel electric
You make me feel electri-i-i-i-i-c

Roll with the mighty waves
Well be there soon
Feel the winds as we sail on home to african moon

My heart beats like the drum
Now it is noon
Loved ones we left behind Ill see again
African moon

I will see you once more
Yes again Ill adore the real sound of the drum
Oh yes Im sailing feel your hot sun

Looking out to the sea
A reunion therell be in the evening sun
Oh theres a new life thats awaiting me

African moon
This land is my rightful home
Well never roam
Youll weep fou your sons no more and daughters

Hold up your head
One day youll be understood
Stand and be proud

Hold up your head
And youll be satisfied!

Okay, Okay, Okay! I Get It. I Apologize
Okay, okay, okay!
I get it.
I apologize.
I should not have called you an idiot.
I should have left it alone as a thought.
But since I have apologized
Let us both pretend,
You are not the fool I believe you are.
And you can forgive me for any perceptions,
You assume in the future
I might have of you that offend.
Even those thoughtless statements,
I may make in public
And surrounded by an attentive audience,
You now know
I did not intend to mention as they were heard.
And repeated.
Over and over again.
I'm glad you realize,
We all make mistakes.
Although they may be done on a regular basis.
I appreciate your acceptance of my apology.
I promise from now on,
I will make attempts to be more conscious.

Jessica The Racist Beauty Model
You speak words
Words that pun a knife on the heart
You speak words
Words that destroy unity
You speak words
Words that kill the black generation
I sit and wonder
How proud your ancestors will be of you
that you have once again
Reflected the true hate that boils
In the blood veins of your family
But how cruel,
Because you re-declare a war
That you already defeated already
How disgusting of you
Travelling the world
With pride that you represent
The rainbow nation
But then you intimidate your country
And insult your publicity
All with just a single word
That signify racism to black african generation
And today
You have demoted your dignity
You have failed you success
And you shall never ever in my heart
Be a proud South African
And never will give you the respect you deserve
I know you do not care,
But just like you!
In that way I opt to make my ancestore very happy,
You failed
Yes! You failed South Africa
