Okay, Okay, Okay! I Get It. I Apologize
Okay, okay, okay!
I get it.
I apologize.
I should not have called you an idiot.
I should have left it alone as a thought.
But since I have apologized
Let us both pretend,
You are not the fool I believe you are.
And you can forgive me for any perceptions,
You assume in the future
I might have of you that offend.
Even those thoughtless statements,
I may make in public
And surrounded by an attentive audience,
You now know
I did not intend to mention as they were heard.
And repeated.
Over and over again.
I'm glad you realize,
We all make mistakes.
Although they may be done on a regular basis.
I appreciate your acceptance of my apology.
I promise from now on,
I will make attempts to be more conscious.

Clarity Achieved Is Refreshing!
You deal with the semantics,
Of language use.
Deal with the perfection of corrected,
Presentation.
With ideals of that pursued.
Deal with the acceptance between,
That which is offensive...
And what is in good taste.
As I live my life not fearing to make mistakes.
Since I have not agreed to any contract,
That places my movements and choices made...
Above anyone who chooses to be analytical.
And a setting done on a determined right track.
Although those perceptions change on a daily basis.
I refuse to become subdued by limitations,
Regardless of who believes I should...
To please a confused conformity.
Lostt in ever thickening deep woods.
All trees does not one forest make!
And I do not assume what i see is a forest.
If I have yet to experience it!
I am here to journey on a path,
I have never experience before!
And I will do just that,
As long as this gift of life I have lasts.
Is there anything else you perceive,
Needs from me...
A clarification?
If not...
I will not be wasting time,
Trying to define my life for anyone.
Or make attempts to re-route my steps,
For anyone who has not blessed me...
With the breath God has granted me to breathe.
Have I achieved for 'you' any clarity?
Believe me...
Clarity achieved is refreshing!

This Valentines Day Revised
This Valentines Day,
I promise to love you more than I have in the past.
This Valentines Day,
I promise to make you feel more special than I ever have before.
This Valentines Day,
I promise that I will never make promise I can’t keep.
This Valentines Day,
I promise to make you smile bigger than you ever have before,
This Valentines Day,
I promise to give you the biggest hug I ever gave you before.
This Valentines Day,
I promise to kiss you so softly, you get butterflies in your stomach.
This Valentines Day,
I promise to never tell you I love you and not mean it.
This Valentines Day,
I promise to remain forever yours.
This Valentines Day,
I promise to write you at least one poem every month.
This Valentines Day,
I promise that I will be here next year and the year after that as long as I can help it.
This Valentines Day,
I'm glad I'm yours.
This Valentines Day,
I'm glad I meet you.
This Valentines Day,
I'm glad you know how to forgive.
This Valentines Day,
I'm glad you love me.
This Valentines Day,
I’m glad I love you.
This Valentines Day,
I'm glad I didn't leave.
This Valentines Day,
I'm glad to say you're mine.
This Valentines Day,
I’m glad I get to see your beautiful face light up when I see you.
This Valentines Day,
I’m glad I stopped hating you for no reason.
This Valentines Day,
I’m glad I held your hand that one day at the carnival.
This Valentines Day,
Is more than just flowers and candy.
This Valentines Day,
Is more than little red hearts.
This Valentines Day,
Is more than a hallmark holiday.
This Valentines Day,
Is more than just sex.
This Valentines Day,
Is more than little ‘Be Mine’ cards you got in kinder-garden.
This Valentines Day,
Is a day of true love,
This Valentines Day,
Is a day of just laying in bed and snuggling with you.
This Valentines Day,
Is one way I can show you how much I love you.
This Valentines Day,
Is special because I’m with you.
This Valentines Day,
I’m so deeply in love with you.

No Emotional Investment Made
No need to apologize.
You have left no integrity here.
And there has been no emotional investment made.
Not one to make your absence made clear.
No need to apologize.
You have left no integrity here.
There is nothing felt or I have witnessed...
That makes an apology something worthy to hear,
Again from your lips.
It's like this...
Excused exaggerations colorized by alibis,
Do not fly well in this atmosphere you wish to change!
For purposes to cement a meaningless relationship.
The only thing you have deposited,
Is superficiality.
And nothing of that I have embraced can you claim.
It's like this...
No need to apologize.
You have left no integrity here.
And there has been no emotional investment made.
Not one to make your absence made clear.
No need to apologize.
You have left no integrity here.
There is nothing felt or I have witnessed...
That makes an apology something worthy to hear,
Again from your lips to recite to capture empathy.

You Can't Pay Me
I know what I want.
Know 'what' I want.
And you can't make me...
Know what I want!
I know who I want.
And why and when I want it with.
And you can't pay me...
To accept the lure of a cured and recovered fool!
Out to bait with past mistakes,
Hopefully forgotten and forgiven!
I know who I want.
And why and when I want it with.
Fools that make mistakes that are thoughtless,
Are easy to forget!

Human II [Don't Turn Your Back On Me]
I know this was my fault but
How much should it cost
To make things right
Do I have to pay for life
We all fall short sometimes
And I'm guilty of that crime
But I just wanna make you see
That you can still believe in me
I know, I make mistakes
I am what I am
I'm only a man
So don't take my joy away
Don't turn your back on me
Speak to me, let me know how you feel
If you feel like you can hold on and be strong
I will never leave you lonely
I cry sometimes 'cause I make you cry
And that ain't right
I won't make the same mistake twice
Baby please forgive me
I know, I make mistakes
I am what I am
I'm only a man
So don't take my joy away
Don't turn your back on me
No I can't erase the wrong I've done
But I hope you can give me another chance
'Cause if you were me you would want the same
And I'd give that chance to you
I know, I make mistakes
I am what I am
I'm only a man
So don't take my joy away
Don't turn your back on me
I know, I make mistakes
I am what I am
I'm only a man
So don't take my joy away
Don't turn your back on me

One Promise
One promise you have to make
make this world happy and gay
one promise you have to make
establish peace and pleasure
in this world.
one promise you have to make
never go on war and rage
one promise you have to make
abolish poverty from this world
one promise you have to make
strengthen friendship and brotherhood
in this world
one promise you have to make
not to display racial and religious feelings
which hurts your friend and fellowmen
in open field as these are most precious
assets to be kept in safe custody
in your home
one promise you have to make
make this world heaven of earth.

Earnestly
Yes I am stubborn.
And have suffered the consequences,
From my thick headedness.
And admitting it makes little sense.
But...
One day I am going to awaken,
And not justify my ignorance.
I find that contradicting and too conflicting...
When my own restrictions offend.
Yet since I do reflect upon it and it hasn't happened,
Why does it seem others make attempts...
To try and deny me the right to learn,
From my own experiences?
If I choose to be a fool,
At least allow me to do it earnestly.
Afterall,
I have proven I 'am' conscious about it.

You Creative Types Are So Tempermental
You want me to apologize?
OKAY...
I apologize.
'What level of sincerity,
Was that apology? '
I would say...
Right between where I would put my foot.
And the words your ears would hear,
As they rolled off my tongue.
'I accept your apology.'
I am glad of that!
Because you would find my foot painful.
And those words rolling off my tongue...
Would be created just for you.
'But then again...
That doesn't sound too bad of an offer.
Do you mind if I returned your apology?
What did I say now?
Who cares!
Walk away.
You creative types are so tempermental.'

Gave Up
Give it to me i throw it away
Give it to me i throw it away
Covered in hope and vaseline
Still cannot fix this broken machine
Watching the hole it used to be mine
Just watching it burn in my steady systematic decline
Of the trust i will betray
Give it to me i throw it away
After everything i've done i hate myself for what i've become
Give it to me i throw it away
Give it to me i throw it away
Throw it away
It took you to make me realize
It took you to make me realize
It took you to make me realize?
It took you to make me see the light
It took you to make me realize
It took you to make me realize
It took you to make me realize?
It took you to make me see the light
It took you to make me realize
It took you to make me realize
It took you to make me realize?
It took you to make me see the light

I Cant Pretend
Charles tobias / paul rusincky (w. edward breuder? )
I cant pretend
Im sorry were apart
I cant pretend
I just cant fool my heart
Though I make mine
My friends all seem to realize
Their smiles, that look in my eye
I cant pretend
I simply cant be gayer
For in the end
My tears give me away
Without you dear
I live a lie
I cant defend
I love you
And I cant pretend

Exile
I heard it in my sleep
A voice more dead than old
I thought Id known the fear
But then it touched my soul and said:
You will pray for me
Bow your head to me.
It came for me at night
And took me dream by dream
To where everything is dark
And no-one hears you scream
Took everything I loved
And turned love into pain
It said Im the prophecy
And Ill make you believe in me.
Sacrifice for me
Be humility.
It said:
Ill make everyone pay
Ill make everyone pay
Some things you cant forget
Ill make everyone pay
Some things you cant forgive
Ill make everyone pay.
And so it comes to this
Death or eternity?
Or would you like to pay
For all humanity?
Do you believe in faith?
Than choose. heaven or hell or me?
A shadow on the sane
The final treachery of god.
You will kneel for me
Lose your eyes for me.
Betray the world for me
Burn your soul for me.
It said:
Ill make everyone pay
Ill make everyone pay
Some things you cant forget
Ill make everyone pay
Some things you cant forgive
Ill make everyone pay.

On a One To One Need To Know Basis
The more I feel out of place...
The more conscious I've become of my surroundings.
And I know I'm not the only one feeling this way.
I make attempts not to appear too obvious.
Some are not so discreet.
I've noticed others having complete conversations,
With two and sometimes three people.
And they are walking along the streets by themselves.
Using hand gestures and stuff like that.
Having arguments with benches and trees.
Trying their best to fit in.
Me?
That kind of strategy is too creative.
Hey...
What works for some,
Doesn't for 'all'.
That's my motto.
I use an entirely different approach.
I have a cellphone I hold to my ear.
I pretend I'm receiving calls!
I like to keep my discussions on a one to one,
Need to know basis.
And no one suspects a thing.

You Have Been Given Another Point Of View
I apologize if I offend you.
And those delusions you've been fed to keep.
But you see...
My life is not lived in Hollywood.
And none of my ancestors,
Came close to serving time...
On a movie set.
My comments may come as a surprise,
To upset your insights.
But my reality has been annointed by the ghetto.
In those urban centers of city life.
Where very few of those so called 'elite' go.
I apologize if I offend you.
Although I could easily cuss you out.
And not have my bitter experiences,
Think twice about it.
I was not shelter by protectors with the giving of lollipops.
Dysfunctions of all kinds I knew as friends.
I've been blessed with a mind that sees beyond limitations.
I share this with you,
Because I know of me...
You have been given another point of view.
And I don't want you to receive the wrong directions,
By anyone who believes they know...me!
And...
Where I have been, where I am now and where I intend to go.
And only that is revealed,
When I arrive to leave upon my announcing it.
If I wish.
And often I don't.

Soon It's Yourself You Will Hate
Never be afraid to say sorry,
Though it's only a five letter word,
Not to admit it when you're in the wrong,
Can only be classed as absurd.
Doing so can bring all of you so much relief,
In being sorry there's joy to be found,
Not to can lead you to serious grief,
When you discover they're no longer around.
Make sure you look before you leap,
The secret's to admit when you're wrong,
Refusing to acknowledge this will just cause affray,
Saying sorry shows others you're strong.
An apology can make you feel better,
You will soon be back on your feet,
The one whose been wronged will be happy,
You'll be working from a clean sheet.
On saying sorry there is no limit of time,
Be it a minute or a number of years,
It will set you up for a sunnier clime,
Then rid you of the need for more tears.
Never go to sleep on an argument,
It will cause you such terrible stress,
You'll just lie awake all night long,
Thinking, I created this mess.
Hindsight it's said is that wonderful thing,
Problem is it's all in the past,
Apologise and see what the future will bring,
It can make a relationship last.
If you're in the wrong please be honest,
To all concerned you must make amends,
If you don't it will just lie and fester,
That's how a relationship ends.
Never let pride blind your decision,
If you've erred then accept you're to blame,
Word your apology with precision,
Or it's you who'll be left feeling shame.
Saying sorry is never a weakness,
It shows others you are fully aware,
When you're at fault you'll admit it,
This shows others just how much you care.
Make your apology free from all pretence,
Not to is so insincere,
For trying to deceive there'll be no defence,
The consequences could cost you dear.
To err is human to forgive is divine,
Saying sorry is the right thing to do,
What it takes is courage and respect,
It allows everyone to start life anew.
If there's an apology you need to make,
Do it now before it's too late,
By refusing to it's not just yourself you forsake,
'' Soon It's Yourself You Will Hate ‘'
Acceptance Is The Key
I stayed up most of the night,
Getting very little needed sleep...
When the thought occurred to me,
That I could strive to do better than my best...
Tomorrow.
And when tomorrow came at dawn,
I decided to take the entire day...
Not making attempts to find ways,
To add more stress on my shoulders.
If there are those who 'assume',
I feel I am perfect...
Why should I waste my time,
Proving to them I am not?
Why argue with those who 'behold' beliefs,
And perceptions not in my power to change?
I have learned acceptance is the key,
To maintaining one's peace.

Nonsense Is Just What It Is
Some folks are quick to say,
They meant no harm by their intentions.
And if harm was done...
An apology is extended.
I have a problem with that!
Since I know for a fact...
Few people sleep walk unconsciously.
Those who are conscious,
Know exactly what they do!
To who, why and for what reasons!
The rest of that nonsense is just what it is!
Pure BS!
People make mistakes!
And even those are consciously made.
Folks just don't like the exposure of being caught.
Believing it is easy to excuse what they do.
Like a ritual or a tradition of sorts.
An act is committed; an apology is given.

Promises Are Made To Be Kept
Today I have made myself this one promise...
Not to make anymore.
Promises are made to be kept.
And why should I make them to myself?
Of late...
I have not made a promise,
I have yet to keep that was met.
I am getting older.
And those who are doing this,
Know how moody the elders get.
And promising myself,
I will not get upset...
Is as worthless as those attitudes I get into.
To then forget the reason 'why' I am so cranky.
Or who it was I promised,
What was done whether consciously or not...
Someone will have reason to regret.
And often it was me on the receiving end!
Yes.
So today,
Without delay...
I have made myself this one promise,
Not to make anymore.
Promises are made to be kept.
And why should I make them to myself?
Especially,
Since I promise myself to remember...
Where I leave my keys.
And it takes me at least an hour to find them.
Only to realize...
All that time they have been in my pants pocket.
'OH.
Oh...I...uh.'
So today,
Without delay...
I have made myself this one promise,
Not to make anymore.
It's embarrassing enough,
To accuse someone else...
Of stealing them.
Although I can display,
Awesome humility!
And having the ability to use my advancing age,
Is not beneath me.
Whatever works...
Not to appear to be thought of as a jerk!
'You know...
I thought that was change in my pocket,
I was going to ask you if you needed.
Before I let those 'keys' let me lose my concentration!
If you're going to be here for a while,
I'll be right back!
You need anything while I'm out? '
