Children should be led into the right paths, not by severity, but by persuasion.

Hot Persuasion
You know you light my candle
You know you load my gun
Youre way too hot to handle
Theres nothing we aint done
Give me your love
Give me that hot persuasion
I cant get enough
Give me that hot persuasion
Give it to me!
Mouth full of hot persuasion
You face me upside down
A love for all occasions
You wont catch me foolin aroung
Give me your love
Give me that hot persuasion
I cant, cant get enough
Give me that hot persuasion
I need to know youre near me
I need you by my side
You keep my tank on empty
You keep me up all night
Give me your love
Give me that hot persuasion
Oh, cant get enough
Give me that hot persuasion
Give me your hot persuasion
I cant get enough, get enough
Ive done hot persuasion

The Power Of Persuasion
Cock a snoot,
Loop the loop,
Hock the hula-hoop,
But now it yo-yod back again
Shiver me timbers,
Just jumped ship with a little faith
We could win the championship
Parachute substitute, problem is its soooo cute
Workless, cashless, hungry and in debt
Outta house, outta home, outta pocket
They persuade you,
That they made you then betrayed you
And they blame you with the power of persuasion
The power of persuasion
The power of persuasion
The power of persuasion
You bought the troll,
You bought the gonk,
You took it home, and put it on a pedestal
We needed a saviour,
But from its behaviour
Why did it have to be so extra-terrestrial?
Tax deductible. cash corruptible,
Never the less another poolswinner
Penniless dog tooth check,
Cash and carry find a girl,
Settle down and marry
They persuade you,
That they made you
The proclaim,
And theyll maim you with the power of persuasion
The power of persuasion
The power of persuasion
The power of persuasion
I sold the eskimo snow
Build the skyline outta playdo
Persuading you that monochrome is dayglo
With the power of persuasion

Children Are Our Future
We often hope and pray
That our children find the right way
How they think
How they act
How they handle things in life
Like adults they have two paths to chose
The one for good the other for bad
All we can do
Is give them love
And support
All we can do
Is make sure they know
How much we care
How they chose their paths
Would be their own choice
How they behave
Would be their own choice
Should they try drugs?
We can only ever be there
To pick up the pieces
Should they get hurt?
We can only ever comfort them
When they are in need
As Whitney us to say
I believe the children
Are our Future
Teach them well and
Let them lead the way
Show them all the beauty
They posses inside
Let the children's laughter
Remind us how we use to be
Food for thought don't you think!

Paths 2
Some paths lead to dead ends,
some lead to pastures new,
but whatever path you take
it is always up to you.
Some paths are filled with beauty
colourfully decorated on either side.
Some paths are not so cheerful
and gloom hangs from every branch.
Some paths are well worn
where many feet have gone through.
Some paths have not been ventured on
and these always hold something new,
but whatever path you take
it is always up to you.

Pretty Persuasion
Its what I want, hurry and buy,
All has been tried, follow reason and buy,
Cannot shuffle in this heat, its all wrong
Try to put that on your sleeve its all wrong its all wrong
Hes got a pretty persuasion
Shes got pretty persuasion
God damn, pure confusion
Shes got pretty persuasion
Its what I want, hurry and buy,
All has been tried, follow reasoning,
And I put that in this heat its all wrong
Try to wear that on my sleeve its all wrong all wrong
Hes got a pretty persuasion
Shes got pretty persuasion
God damn, pure confusion
Hes got pretty persuasion
In the line of heart,
All is peeling away,
Its what I want, hurry and buy,
All has been tried, follow reason and buy,
Try to put that in this heat its all wrong
Cannot wear that on your sleeve its all wrong its all wrong

Ch 08 On Rules For Conduct In Life - Admonition 10
Wrath beyond measure produces estrangement and untimely kindness destroys authority. Be neither so harsh as to disgust the people with thee nor so mild as to embolden them.
Severity and mildness together are best
Like a bleeder who is a surgeon and also applies a salve.
A wise man uses neither severity to excess
Nor mildness; for it lessens his authority.
He neither exalts himself too much
Nor exposes himself at once to contempt.
A youth said to his father: ‘O wise man,
Give me for instruction one advice like an aged person.’
He said: ‘Be kind but not to such a degree
That a sharp-toothed wolf may become audacious.’
Make new things to be great
Go where paths may lead.
Also go where there are no paths
To give others new paths.
The great men have done like that.

Different Paths (A Prayer)
Oh Lord, we all walk different paths in our daily lives.
Some of us are frowned upon for the paths we take.
Does that make us worse than any other who believes in you?
We take these paths, not because we are bad,
but because of circumstances beyond our control.
Therefore, as we say our prayers each day
forgive us from any wrong that we do.
Amen

When the conduct of men is designed to be influenced, persuasion, kind unassuming persuasion, should ever be adopted. It is an old and true maxim that 'a drop of honey catches more flies than a gallon of gall.' So with men. If you would win a man to your cause, first convince him that you are his sincere friend. Therein is a drop of honey that catches his heart, which, say what he will, is the great highroad to his reason, and which, once gained, you will find but little trouble in convincing him of the justice of your cause, if indeed that cause is really a good one.

Persuasion
You got persuasion
I cant help myself
You got persuasion
I cant help myself
Something about you baby
Keeps me from goin to somebody else
Yeah, any way you want
Now, now baby
You put me in a daze
All the time
Look whacha got for me baby
Like the devil in disguise
Something about you baby
Youre one
Youre one of a kind
Oh this spell you put on me
Has just outdone me babe
I cant keep the rain from comin down
Look out now
I cant get out from under
But I wouldnt want to
Even if I can
Something about you baby
Make me feel
Make me feel like a man

We Are But Mere Paths
we are but mere paths
where their shoes tread upon us
their umbrella tips their staff
they all touch our surfaces
during the rain
the waters run the drain
and we become not just the paths
of their stamping and running feet
we become their canals
we move through histories of men
we are their paths and their canals
we let their blood flow through us
we remain faithful to this tasks
taking glimpses of the face of God
we face the heavens
we believe in the falling of the stars
we are but paths
all histories of men's feet walk upon us
we are but the grasses
we bury their carcasses

Our Paths May Never Cross
Lady I know your out there somewhere
Like me your feeling lost
Maybe right now we both need each other
But our paths may never cross
People like us never find each other
Love is our greatest loss
Baby I know you are out there some where
But our paths may never cross
Were to people that should be together
Cause were lonely at the very same time
But theres a million to many good reasons
Why your love can never be mine
Maby this song was written for you
Listen, dont turn it off
I wish you could learn it
And come sing it with me
But our paths may never cross
I wish you could learn it
And come sing it with me
But our paths may never cross

To a Poet
Let verse of yours be flexible, but strong,
Strong as a poplar under valley's cover,
Strong as the earth under a plough, long,
Strong as a girl, who never knew a lover.
Reliably preserve severity at length,
Your verse need not be fluttering or booming,
Although the Muse has very easy steps,
She's not a dancer, but a goddess, ruling.
Frolicsome din of interrupted rhymes --
Temptation for decline, so free and so easy --
Just leave for use by jokers in a dance
On city streets for people who aren't busy.
And going out on the sacred paths,
Bring to melodiousness your chosen damnation.
You know, she's a mistress of the mass,
She craves embraces, as a dearth -- donations.

Wisdom
and they behave like children –
always themselves, and always natural,
all they do is natural;
they seem to be as expert untaught children;
and yet, they are not childish,
nor like novices;
appear to be accomplished; yet
not weighty; wisdom
not a burden or a badge to them;
nor the severity of teachers;
but question them, they answer, sweetly;
loving them, we love ourselves the more;
they are bright, in every way;
light – like dancers on the stage,
their simplicity
lovely to the sight; they live simply,
as if things they need
just come to them;
living without anything attached to life
because they love to live in freedom,
love to live as limitless;
like swans, like lotus flowers,
they float on the lake
of their own stillness;
no single thing
attracts them, yet
every thing around them shines;
shines of itself, as if it shines for them;
and when they speak, you hear -
the sound that shining makes.

What children know (understand)
Children know laughter
They know tears
Children know peace
They know chaos
Children know acceptance
They know rejection
Children know joy
They know pain
Children know abundance
They know lack
Children know health
They know illness
Children know fulfillment
They know emptiness
Children know hope
They know dismay
Children know love
They know hatred
What they don’t know is WHY!

Will The Truth Come Out One Day?
Will the truth come out one day?
Is what has happened wrong?
Our paths crossed in a funny way
To you I have nothing to say
But with you it's our secret all along
Will the truth come out one day?
If caught, a bad mood you'll display
But our concealing is strong
Our paths crossed in a funny way
I feel bad 'cause with you I didn't stay
But we weren't seeing each other for that long
Will the truth come out one day?
I'm glad it was under you I lay
Because my feelings for him have gone
Our paths crossed in a funny way
From this will I have to pay?
But i'm glad this is still going on
Will the truth come out one day?
Our paths crossed in a funny way

See The Children
(la la la la la la la...)
I stopped the car
The other day
I had to ask a little
Girl the way
I thought she'd show me
Better if she got inside
And once inside
I thought i'd taker her
For a little ride...
So i see the children
Feel the children
See the children
Feel the children
All the time...
See the children
Feel the children
See the children
Feel the children
All the time...
I'm a supermarket santa
Underneath the christmas tree
The little one all like to
Come and sit upon my knee
I have to hold them tightly
'cause they fall to the floor
A little concern ain't
Against the law...
So i see the children
Feel the children
See the children
Feel the children
All the time
See the children
(something something something??) all the time
I pass by the infant school
Every single day
I push sweeties through the fence
But the kids just run way
I only want to talk with them
And join in their fun
But all the little children do
Is run run run run run run run run...
(la la la la la la, la la la la la la..etc..)
See the children
Feel the children all the time..
See the children
Feel the children
See the children
Feel the children
All the time........

The man who has bread to eat does not appreciate the severity of a famine.
We're All God's Children
Album: Peace In The Valley
Here comes a Baptist, here comes a Jew
There goes a Mormon and a Muslim too
I see a Buddist and a Hindu
I see a Catholic and I see you
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
You like the day, and I like the night
He's into country and he's isn't quit
There's folks on the left and the far right
But that doesn't mean that we have to fight
We're all god's children
All god's children
Yeah, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
White folks, yellow folks, black and tan
On the same planet in the same plan
A feminist woman and a he man
We're all playin' the magic hand
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Oh, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
All god's children
Yeah, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
All god's children
We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Yeah, We're all god's children
Why can't we be
One big happy family
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all black and white
We're all precious in his sight
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
We're all god's children
Why can't we all be
One big happy family...
