Different Paths (A Prayer)
Oh Lord, we all walk different paths in our daily lives.
Some of us are frowned upon for the paths we take.
Does that make us worse than any other who believes in you?
We take these paths, not because we are bad,
but because of circumstances beyond our control.
Therefore, as we say our prayers each day
forgive us from any wrong that we do.
Amen

A Sunday Prayer 01
Dear Lord as we walk
the different paths we have taken.
Help us to speak the truth,
and help us use words,
to console the injured,
bring hope to those in despair,
but most of all, help us with your words of faith
to guide others to see
the wisdom in your light.
Amen

Make new things to be great
Go where paths may lead.
Also go where there are no paths
To give others new paths.
The great men have done like that.

Paths 2
Some paths lead to dead ends,
some lead to pastures new,
but whatever path you take
it is always up to you.
Some paths are filled with beauty
colourfully decorated on either side.
Some paths are not so cheerful
and gloom hangs from every branch.
Some paths are well worn
where many feet have gone through.
Some paths have not been ventured on
and these always hold something new,
but whatever path you take
it is always up to you.

We Are But Mere Paths
we are but mere paths
where their shoes tread upon us
their umbrella tips their staff
they all touch our surfaces
during the rain
the waters run the drain
and we become not just the paths
of their stamping and running feet
we become their canals
we move through histories of men
we are their paths and their canals
we let their blood flow through us
we remain faithful to this tasks
taking glimpses of the face of God
we face the heavens
we believe in the falling of the stars
we are but paths
all histories of men's feet walk upon us
we are but the grasses
we bury their carcasses

Pathways Of Life
i walk the
straight path and no
one noticed me,
the straight path
is the most ordinary one
you can have here
at first it was boring
when no one
notices you
so i tried the twisted
path
the one that is crooked
from bottom to
top
the old women scolded
me and the old men said
i am a
big disappointment
the men and women of my
generation
still did not mind
they are busy
taking their own paths
and these are the
paths
which are neither crooked
nor straight
sometimes we look at each
other
and we nod
without saying a word
we feel
that we perfectly understand
each other
all along
there are paths you know
which are neither wrong
nor right
they simply have to
be trodden

Envy And Jealousy
We walk paths on our own way,
while others try to force us
to walk paths with only them.
Some get ungrateful
if we only walk awhile,
and then help someone else
on their lonely mile.
They get jealous
if we do for others
what you are only expected
to do just for them.
Therefore, it goes on and on,
until one day they look around,
finding their demands
have left them without friends.
They so want to be noticed,
and they’ll do anything they can,
to try to force people
to notice them.
They wonder why
no one listens to their needs.
Wonder why people begin to turn away.
They forget about their demands
they put on others to stay,
they can only see what is good for them,
and not that others have needs to.
So they hurt those they should not,
hoping it will make them feel better.
Instead, it makes them feel worse
for their anger only forces people away.

Hallowed Halls
They take each other’s outstretched
fingers and interlock them,
as they walk along much trodden paths
that have seen lovers by the score,
embrace each other along these paths before.
They come as dusk begins to fall
with the setting sun in the west.
They embrace the lovers call
to follow long-standing traditions
and amble down these hallowed halls.

Will The Truth Come Out One Day?
Will the truth come out one day?
Is what has happened wrong?
Our paths crossed in a funny way
To you I have nothing to say
But with you it's our secret all along
Will the truth come out one day?
If caught, a bad mood you'll display
But our concealing is strong
Our paths crossed in a funny way
I feel bad 'cause with you I didn't stay
But we weren't seeing each other for that long
Will the truth come out one day?
I'm glad it was under you I lay
Because my feelings for him have gone
Our paths crossed in a funny way
From this will I have to pay?
But i'm glad this is still going on
Will the truth come out one day?
Our paths crossed in a funny way

Paths Of Victory
Trails of troubles,
Roads of battles,
Paths of victory,
I shall walk.
The trail is dusty
And my road it might be rough,
But the better roads are waiting
And boys it aint far off.
Trails of troubles,
Roads of battles,
Paths of victory,
We shall walk.
I walked down by the river,
I turned my head up high.
I saw that silver linin
That was hangin in the sky.
Trails of troubles,
Roads of battles,
Paths of victory,
We shall walk.
The evenin dusk was rollin,
I was walking down the track.
There was a one-way wind a-blowin
And it was blowin at my back.
Trails of troubles,
Roads of battles,
Paths of victory,
We shall walk.
The gravel road is bumpy,
Its a hard road to ride,
But theres a clearer road a-waitin
With the cinders on the side.
Trails of troubles,
Roads of battles,
Paths of victory,
We shall walk.
That evening train was rollin,
The hummin of its wheels,
My eyes they saw a better day
As I looked across the fields.
Trails of troubles,
Roads of battles,
Paths of victory,
We shall walk.
The trail is dusty,
The road it might be rough,
But the good road is a-waitin
And boys it aint far off.
Trails of troubles,
Roads of battles,
Paths of victory,
We shall walk.

Our Paths May Never Cross
Lady I know your out there somewhere
Like me your feeling lost
Maybe right now we both need each other
But our paths may never cross
People like us never find each other
Love is our greatest loss
Baby I know you are out there some where
But our paths may never cross
Were to people that should be together
Cause were lonely at the very same time
But theres a million to many good reasons
Why your love can never be mine
Maby this song was written for you
Listen, dont turn it off
I wish you could learn it
And come sing it with me
But our paths may never cross
I wish you could learn it
And come sing it with me
But our paths may never cross

My Hidden Path
My paths conceal the truth of years,
Grass has grown to make reasons;
I shoot in the air to find sins and crimes,
Then the paths make me finish in nastiness.
Let each path believe in itself,
Life teaches us lessons of stupor,
Life ends in the wrong way,
And life guides the strong and weary.

If I were to relive…
Given a lease to relive my life,
I would not tread the paths I trod,
Not trust men trusted, not love women loved,
And would not believe in what I believed.
Given a lease to relive my life,
I would pursue the paths I missed,
Would trust whom I misjudged,
And would believe what I disbelieved.
In a nut shell, I shall grow a new one
To detest the paths that I have to tread

Destiny Rules
Maybe we were together in another life
Maybe we are together in a parallel universe
Maybe our paths are not supposed to cross twice
Maybe your arms not supposed to go around me
I hear about you now and then
I wonder where you are and how you feel
Sometimes I walk by and I look up to your balcony
Just to make sure that you were real
Just to make sure that I can still feel you
When I see you again
As I always do
It appears to me that
Destiny rules
That the spirits are ruthless with the paths they choose
Its not being together
Its just following the rules
No ones a fool
Six weeks in a foreign country how the time flew
I didnt speak the language but somehow I knew
That that would be the only time that we could be alone and foolish
We said wed never come home...

You Will Find Rest for Yourselves
Ask for the old paths,
Saying: 'Where is the righteous way? '
Then walk in it;
And, you will find rest fro yourselves.
Outside are dogs (gods) and wars! !
So be very wise to look for the old paths of the righteous ways;
For in them you will find rest for yourselves.

Faith, Hope And Trust
We all make those decisions,
To follow that which attracts...
Our footsteps to walk on certain paths.
Some choose to seek a validation given.
Hopeful that an approval,
Will greet and meet them along the way.
Others make selections because of 'something' felt.
Something inside at first denied.
And feelings of aloneness upon them are dealt.
We all make those decisions,
To follow that which attracts...
Our footsteps to walk on certain paths.
And one day that climb on a path begins to clear.
A purpose that erases doubts...
Inside is felt to be near.
And all fears one had of being alone with feelings sad,
Disappear.
Knowing it was faith, hope and trust...
That never left them abandoned.

Father cum Friend
Father cum Friend—
Father your four fingers
Taught me to walk-
Paths of many seasons have ended in you
Yet there are many paths of many seasons to cross
So far we go
We get return to that extent
You are the father- you are the friend!

Heaven-ly
gazing up at the sky
I know that many have reasons why
they believe in it all
but others prosecutions make them fall
Why? why do we believe in it anyhow?
ask us believers and we will surely avow
but we have no proof to share
us believers will declare that is is there.
rarely will we doubt it-
barely holding it to be touchable-y true
because we are unfairly doubted
but our proof lies in the love He supplies
to be in heaven is to be with the Lord
to know heaven is to know the Lord
to walk to heaven is to walk the paths of the Lord
to love heaven is to love God.
even if we followers are proven to be wrong
in the end, did we not end up where we belonged all along?
we were never with out God
so go on believing that our belief in heaven is odd.

Millennium Prayer
Our Father who art in Heaven
Hallowed be thy name
Thy Kingdom come
thy will be done on earth as in heaven
Give us to thee our daily bread
And forgive our sins
As we forgive each one of those who sin against us
And lead us not to the time of trial
But deliver us from evil
For thine is the kingdom the power and the glory
Let all the people sing Amen
In every tribe and tongue
Let every hearts desire be joined
To see the kingdom come
Let every hope and every dream
Be born in love again
Let all the world sing with one voice
Let the people say amen
Amen Amen Amen
Amen Amen Amen (To fade)
