Extremely Positive
What I want I want.
No substitutes for me.
I settled for replacements then...
Back when I had those needs.
I've tasted afairs that went nowhere.
And embarrassments I faced.
But those days are not returning now.
I can not see that as a possibility.
What I want I want.
No substitutes for me.
I settled for replacements then...
Back when I had those needs.
I look for clarity to guide my steps,
After weeping tears of much regret.
I've removed all issues of a mental debt!
And now I want all that I can get...
To please and satisfy,
A happiness I once denied!
What I want I want.
No substitutes for me.
I settled for replacements then...
Back when I had those needs.
Right now I am pleased,
To discover the real me!
And what others believed...
Brought me misery to grieve!
What I want I want.
No substitutes for me.
I settled for replacements then...
Back when I had those needs.
Opportunities came,
To catch me undecided.
Overnight I found myself...
Filled with excitement and much delighted!
What I want I want.
No substitutes for me.
I settled for replacements then...
Back when I had those needs.
To do for others as they chose I did.
But now a joy inside me lives!
Knowing it was 'me' I had to forgive!
And wanting what I want allows me more to give!
Feeling a freedom I had never known or shown...
That I condone and is extremely positive!

There Will Be Substitutes
and for him to be alive for another year
he takes the substitutes for such absence
he justifies
this absence shall make my heart grow fonder
he looks at himself in the mirror
and feels the gloss of the glass on his face
the pain is there and it may subside a little bit
but it is there and it has always been there
and it will always be there
always
the substitutes heal the surface and makes a scar
the real pain inside keeps piercing
to the bottom
always and it has always been there
like a cancer of love always, always creeping, growing
there is no cure

Heat Leaps and Engulfs
I had a need to have what I wanted.
Diluted substitutes...
Had no priority in my mind,
To adjust to get use to...
Not here to quiet my curiosities.
I had a need to have what I wanted.
'Be thankful for what you have.'
My wonderful mother always said to me.
As she teased my sisters...
And me,
Why should we settle for second best?
Although...
'Be thankful for what you have.'
You see how the teasing of a test,
Can infest as it manifests?
Few settle for less,
When the mind has been awakened,
To know...
Better,
By suggestion.
I had a need to have what I wanted.
Diluted substitutes...
Had no priority in my mind,
To adjust to get use to...
Not here to quiet my curiosities.
I had a need to have what I wanted.
And to get!
And did what I could to find it.
Only to discover something even better...
Every time I thought my wants and needs,
Were fulfilled to satisfy a complacency.
Although never succumbed by compliancy.
Where is the winning done...
When choosing between dilemmas?
Hmmm...
Desires and fires are like whims without end.
Heat leaps and engulfs,
Those hungry and compassionate.
And ready...
To blaze!

Oh What Pleasures
Oh what pleasures I have had
with just my thoughts of you.
I could not say them all aloud
for none would think them true.
Only I can treasure these.
Only I can know
what these pleasures have done to me
and where they had me go.
Into the garden under a bough
with no one there to see,
under the starlit evening skies
with your arms enclosing me.
Onto the fields in broad daylight
trying to avoid the sun,
succumbing to nature's mating call
We two become as one.
Oh what pleasures my thoughts do give
but never would I say.
I keep them silently in my mind
and pray they're true someday.

Morphine & Chocolate
Substitute my gloom with happiness
Substitute my sickness with health
Substitute my enemies with real good friends
Morphine & chocolate are my
Substitute, substitutes
Morphine & chocolate can bring me up
Can warm my heart whenever i want it
And every once in a while when i stop and think
Morphine & chocolate are my
Substitute, substitutes
And you can say " hey, we've really come a long way "
And you say " hey, it can only be this way "
You might be careful, it really hurts when it's real
You might be careful, it really hurts when it's real
You'll go down, down, down, down, ooh !
Set the alarm clock, baby
Don't you miss the sun ?
I'm feeling really warm hearted baby
Don't you know i'm feeling like someone
I'm fearing for my life again and i am
Fearing for my heart
Morphine & chocolate could never
Substitute my art !
And that's real love baby x3

Indecision regarding the choice among pleasures temporarily robs a man of inner peace. After due reflection, he attains joy by turning away from the lower pleasures and seeking the higher ones.

The knack of love scenes
A woman substitute herself for the heroine
And a man substitutes himself for the hero
And each enjoys the presence of the other
And both find interesting a love scene.
