I never intended to be a professional writer; as the story developed, the one thing I had in my hopes was that this would be something tangible to separate me from the nameless, numbered masses.

Paperback writer
Dear Sir or Madam, will you read my book?
It took me years to write, will you take a look?
It's based on a novel by a man named Lear
And I need a job, so I want to be a paperback writer
Paperback writer
It's the dirty story of a dirty man
And his clinging wife doesn't understand
His son is working for the Daily Mail
It's a steady job but he wants to be a paperback writer

It's a thousand pages, give or take a few
I'll be writing more in a week or two
I can make it longer if you like the style
I can change it round and I want to be a paperback writer

If you really like it you can have the rights
It could make a million for you overnight
If you must return it, you can send it here
But I need a break and I want to be a paperback writer

All These Things
Sometimes I don’t feel who I am.
I don’t feel like what I write
because I don’t want to be pigeonholed
for just one thing I do.
I think myself as a whole
and not just one object.
I call myself a writer,
not a poet,
not a novelist,
neither a songwriter
nor a short story writer be.
I am a writer
because all those things
emulate from within me.

Writer's Disposal
Hurt and tense are writer's slaves
So she'll slash through page by page
Burning holes with vivid tongue
Still the feeling strikes as young
Through and through this time again
Misery welcomes her like a friend
Slash and slash and through and through
She spells her feelings as if they're new
Instead of skin she beats a page
A healthy cure, sure, lest she names
These demons, the things that she writes about
That she names other names to give them doubts
Things like this she knows all too well
Her hurts and pains often etch the spell
Before she even thinks to open her eyes
She's solved her feelings with a metaphor for cries
These nameless names named through and through
She possibly could be writing of you
And name you a snake; what harm is there in that?
Proof, invalid; your name is intact
These nameless things she knows all too well
You might not know but help etch her spell
Because intended or vicious, her works are neither
You'd ask what they're about; but she might not know either

Fairness is not an attitude. It's a professional skill that must be developed and exercised.

Every human being has hundreds of separate people living under his skin. The talent of a writer is his ability to give them their separate names, identities, personalities and have them relate to other characters living with him.

To Quell
I quell the masses with poetry,
Opening blameless ideas like fire and ice,
Your light is lived in, inside the spectrum,
Once positions are guaranteed.
Fully developed societies may collapse
Without my poetry and verse.
The sufferer of my prose is exactly perfect,
He or she combines intelligently the matters.
To sway the masses we all enjoy,
Picking the right sort of objects
When vandalism objects to our living.

A Child Speaks...
being lost in childhood
is nothing
but meditation
often in serene atmosphere
i tune my nostrils
to absorb
the lost fragrance of childhood
and the ears
to hear
the lost voices of childhood
and memories...
where i lived with nameless grass
nameless plants...
and their nameless Flowers...
nameless colours...
i played with ants
and nameless insects...
nameless butterflies...
i lived in shrubs
as if in a wild forest
without name
without words
a child speaks...

Intended With Love
I've made so many errors and typos in my work,
To leave uncorrected.
They've become looked upon,
As clarifying those suspicious about this...
That I am not perfect.
And...
If I should correct those errors and typos,
The attention intended to give the message...
A comprehensive clarity,
Gives one then an opportunity...
To see something more between the lines,
Not there as had been intended.
This writing business,
Becomes more theraputic than one can believe.
Self analysis AND with feedback?
It just seems convenient to leave typos where they are,
And errors in language useage alone.
I find this procedure more effective.
It gives the reader a chance to bestow empathy.
Believing what is observed is unintended.
However...
The writer knows typos like fingers and toes.
If there are many as it is to be noticed.
And,
It is...
Intended,
With love.

The Writer's Author
GOD had written a story
in a book called 'destiny'
all things and even not-a-things are listed
and won't be missed
even Shakespeare could write the beautiful romeo n Juliet,
the story of Othello, Hamlet
or even he could made the beautifullest sonnet
GOD had written about all writer and poet
GOD is writer's author

Igniting With a Fresh Incentive
The thing I enjoy most about writing...
Is the focus of intended content.
I may believe my creation heads one way.
With imagery I select.
Then someone decides,
What my thought process 'really'is.
And concludes my purpose is deeper,
Than my intended one meant.
With a dissecting of my original intention...
And an imposition of their own sentiments.
Am I not the writer?
Don't I have creative license?
Or at least be given the benefit of a doubt,
There is a 'root' of truth I do write about.
I 'use' to get bewildered about this!
But not anymore.
I submit my writings and patiently sit.
Reading comments from readers who 'insist'...
Upon probing further,
With 'their' interesting deepness.
Which then feeds my inspiration,
With an innovativeness that motivates...
A spark igniting with a fresh incentive.
Yes,
God does work in mysterious ways.
And in my case...
I hope this mysteriousness stays.

What a Writer Has to Say
It baffles my understanding.
Why would one writer
Ask from another
To give an opinion of what has been created?
It baffles my understanding.
How separate experiences...
With no connection,
Can be thought related?
It baffles my understanding.
When a request is made...
To have another writer read,
And rate
What a writer has to say!
As if what is said...
Would change thoughts
In another's head.
Or expand a point of view.
Isn't that what readers often do...
When they wish to expand their insights too!
But when a writer writes...
Shouldn't those visions,
Be the ones writers pursue?
As narrow or as broad...
With an imagination left,
Unrestricted to cruise!
I am baffled by this...
'Read me, please!
And rate me', business...
Persisted and enlisted.

There Are Many In Relationships Still Waiting For It
Trust is a creation that is developed over time.
Anyone believing it should be found immediately,
Should scratch that off of their list of preferences.
And 'demanding' that to be a priority.
Trust developed comes.
Like a respect that is given that becomes understood.
Even though a trust is wished...
There are many in relationships still waiting for it.
With a keeping of it away...
In the hopes that it comes to display itself,
Without them putting forth any effort.
And these are the people who mostly deceive.

Not Let Time Be Wasted
I intended to,
But I didn't...
Finish what I started yesterday.
I intended to,
But I didn't...
Promise myself I would stop procrastinating.
And...
I was almost there,
Until an excuse got in my way.
I intended to,
But I didn't...
Take that walk,
So to others I could say...
What it is 'they' should do,
To not let time be wasted...
With a getting nothing done,
If something to do was intended.
