James Earl Jones

And nothing embittered me, which is important, because I think ethnic people and women in this society can end up being embittered because of the lack of affirmative action, you know.

Jealousy

Jealousy
~
Jealousy my embittered mistress
Your visits bring nothing but regret
Past thoughts which haunt me still
Chocking my lungs breathless
You are a wicked and cruel acquaintance
I would happily rid myself of you
No more lay in your bed
Than I would that of my lovers
But still you come to call on me
Twisting my heart so violent
You have nothing to gain
No truth to portray in any fashion
You manipulate lies selfishly
For no end or reason or truth
Jealousy my embittered mistress
Can we bring our association
To a final timely end

Certifiably Delusioned

I know,
You prefer the taste of your life sweet.
And I seem to be repeatedly embittered.
I admit it!
Now...
Which one of us is certifiably delusioned?

I can not escaped from the experience of my scars.
Have you ever made attempts to live your life,
Without tasting anything that had not been pre-sweetened?

I know,
You prefer the taste of your life sweet.
And I seem to be repeatedly embittered.
I admit it!
Now...
Which one of us is certifiably delusioned?

Deeds Done They Do

I am not angered at all,
About what has happened.
I am embittered about how it happened.
And why it happened...
To involve someone who had no idea,
They had been selected to be victimized.
And those initiating these activities with lies...
Are still pretending their innocence.
They are still trying to convince those unknowing...
They had nothing to do with the incidents.
And they had been the culprits who plotted the events!
I am not angered at all,
About what has happened.
I am embittered about how it happened.
And the evilness of those who know,
They are involved!
I am not Sherlock Holmes...
So I could care less how that is solved!
And the bitterness I carry,
Will itself be resolved!
I am familiar with the environment
Of such wickedness and those of evil doings.
Choosing I have,
To ignore and resist it.
Truth is truth!
And does not remain concealed...
To protect those who chose to live,
Behind deeds done they do that are unreal!
They reveal themselves in time.
Their minds unwind in observation!

Kept Agendas Prioritized For Devilment

Many try to deny...
That demon that sits within them.
Hiding behind alibis disguised.
In church pews...
To bow,
Their embittered heads.
To mask their lies.

With truth sent away.
And blocked from regaining,
An entrance to stay.
Kept agendas prioritized for devilment...
Betrays the image,
Falsely on display.

Many try to deny...
That demon that sits within them.
Hiding behind alibis disguised.
In church pews...
To bow,
Their embittered heads.
To mask their lies.

And revenge with vindictiveness,
Sits in masquerade.
As hypocrites gather together...
Quoting from scriptures,
To protect their evil ways!

Looking At The Many People

Looking at the many people.
Looking at the many people,
Waiting to live a life they like.
The many people...
In a luxurized hype.

Looking at the people,
Waiting for a life they like.
The many people.
Looking at the many people.

Embittered and lamenting.
Looking at the many people.
Living venting and resenting.
Looking at the many people.

Condescending and offending.
Looking at the many people.
Expressing their sad sentiments...
And in their minds they're losing sense.

Looking at the many people.
Looking at the many people.
Waiting for a life they like.
The many people.
Looking at the many people.

Looking at the many people.
Waiting for a life they like.

Not Filled With Depictions Of Angst

There are those who state,
My writing for them is not 'ethnic' enough.
It is not filled with depictions of angst!
Or emotionally committed to keep attached,
To that sought embittered foaming at the mouth.
Like others who look about to remain,
In limitations.

And I have never sought to make excuses,
To live a life I've been blessed to be given.
And many who are disappointed by their existence...
I've never felt cursed to be denied by those wicked.
Those wishing to sell me negativity!
I don't keep myself sold on that.

I've never wished to use my ethnicity...
As a means to gain sympathy,
With beliefs to accpet I was born subservient.
And to this day I can not perceive,
To whom subservient I would be.
I've never invested my time to accept...
'I am better than you are business.'

We can now have action movies with two stars where one might be African American and one might be Asian American. One of them doesn't have to be white, and the other one doesn't have to be the ethnic sidekick. We're way over that. And I think it's happening in society, too.

Not Only Can They Squeeze Blood From a Turnip

When a society's entire financial structure,
Is based upon a failing system...
Already built upon the hidden talents,
Of those gifted with deceit.
And those institutions are given cartoon names,
Such as Freddie and Fannie...
There are going to be problems.
Ones without realistic solutions faced.
At least not honest ones.

And now trillions of dollars will be borrowed,
To pay for their failures.
If a society is already suffering from an economic crunch...
At who's expense are these fresh lies being told?
Those embittered by an abrupt awakening,
From their delusions?
Or those sold on the bottomless pockets,
Fed on having 'great' aspirations?

My mother once said to me...
'Boy, I ain't got no money!
What do you think I am?
A turnip?
You can't squeeze blood from a turnip.
Nor is there a money tree outside!
I do not have money for you and your sister,
To have lunch today!
And you will get over it! '

I wish my mother was alive today!
She would be amazed to see...
The things being done,
At DisneyWorld!
They are creating remarkable fantasies.
And...
The people leave the grounds totally conditioned,
To accept anything they are told!

'Mama,
If you can hear me,
Not only can they squeeze blood from a turnip today...
A dollar can be produced from thin air!
I haven't seen that yet.
But that's the latest rumor.'

None of Those Depictions

I watched my son clinically murdered.
And given experimental medications.
That's how 'this' hospital treated,
'Certain' patients then.

I am often asked,
By those who have not experienced such tasks...
Why do I seem to be cold, indifferent and embittered?
And...
I am none of those depictions.
God has blessed me with a patience to wait,
For those decisions implemented...
Only The Almighty can make!
