The world is always full of brilliant youth which fades into grey and embittered middle age: the first flowering takes everything. The great men are those who have developed slowly, or who have been able to survive the glamour of their early florescence and to go on learning from life.

Ageing

All the hills I used to climb
seem like mountains now.
Younger legs and bodies
with wild abandon did allow
all the best that comes with youth
to make me feel alive.
Makes me wonder where I am
and how did I survive?

Good old time takes its toll
in many different ways.
We wake up early just like kids
then plod slowly through our days.
But watching the energy kids display
brings back your own sweet youth
when you were climbing hills like them.
Still, the youth don't know the truth.

That age will come upon them
if they're the lucky ones
to see the mountains before them
after so many rising suns.

And we will be out to achieve great things of chaste

When I joined the school it was June
I cried and cried that day till it was noon
But, who was that lady going round and round
Comforting kindly each one to calm down

I came to know that she was our teacher
Whom we should be afraid of, I was told later
To keep quiet, when in the middle did she chatter
Otherwise she would prove to be a harsh beater

But, the fact was that it never happened
She was strict, though never she frightened
She was punctual, though never she threatened
She was wonderful, though we realized at the end

She taught us alphabets, how to write
She taught us manners, how to be right
She taught us maths that made us bright
She taught us that never others we should slight

She used to say whether you become doctor or engineer
But she insisted that we should never lose our cheer
She emphasized that we should never give room to fear
Even when we would be in the middle of fire

We thank her for developing a learning skill
Which will guide us like a lantern life time full
We know that a lot remains to be done still
Her guidance will for sure help our sweet dreams fulfill

We all thank her immensely for the taste
She developed in us, quietly, without any haste
And this fire of learning desire will never go waste
And we will be out to achieve great things of chaste

A Song Of Spring

The Spring comes slowly up this way,
Slowly, slowly,
Under a snood of hodden grey.

The black and white for her array,
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up this way.

Where is her green that was so gay?
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up this way.

Unto a world too sick for May,
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up this way.

Where are the lads that used to play?
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up this way.

She has no heart for holiday,
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up this way.

The trees are out in Heaven they say.
Slowly, slowly,
The Spring comes slowly up our way.

Grey

Dull grey the winter drags on,
so slowly
as if never there will be an end to it.

In the mornings it’s biting cold
with black frost that destroys where it falls
and sometimes there are clouds of fog
that tries to blot out places, things and times.

Early in the mornings the dogs howl in melancholy
where they lie on their beds
on the porch under a roof
since they are prohibited from the house,
both cats sneak slowly into the room
not welcome any more in the whole house
and the rascal bird with its red head
and green body
knocks on the big window
as if it’s playing the tick-tock game,

the grass stays dead yellow
and stick onto shoes
and everywhere are treaded in
and most of the flowers in the garden
has already died
and now has only the colour of death,
although I am still faithfully
spraying water onto them

and it is as if I am now also loosing faith,
not knowing anymore if there’s a God
who cares about me, as if other things
constantly keeps Him busy
so that He never shows up for me

while my love relationship sink into nothing,
while I out of heart keep on looking for a job
and another man’s wife
tries to make eyes at me

and I see evil flowering everywhere around me
where I stand in the middle,
between good and evil
and about me the grey land stretches out wide.

Glamour

Glamour,
Today,
Glamour,
Today,
Illusion all around me,
And its hard to tell,
Such bewilderment,
Cant tell a truth from a fallacy,
Can it be,
Clouds what we think,
What we do,
What we say,
Glamour,
Today,
Although we struggle and fight,
Cant see the wrong from right,
Glamour gets in the way,
Aii that we say and do,
Always its fooling you,
Glamour,
Today,
Oh, you cant cut it with a knife,
It will rule your life,
Glamour,
Ooh, ooh, oh, I believe its true.
Oh, look at all the people,
That still fall in the trap,
Strain their eyes to see,
Somebody elses make believe,
Can it be,
Its whats inside,
What you feel that is reality,
Glamour,
Today,
Oh, I believe its true,
Always its fooling you,
Glamour,
Today,
Destroy it with your mind,
And let the truth unwind,

Raised To Be Independent

I did not understand it then,
But I was in good hands...
When I was raised to be independent.
And learning at an early age,
What it takes to accept in life...
About those things I had to do,
And did not like!

I did not understand it then,
The taking on of responsibilities...
That seem to have no end.
The crying alone inside,
And not showing not a tear outside.
For fear an assessment of it,
Would earn another name to be called.

I did not understand it then,
How to be patient with an ignorance displayed...
At my expense.
Or...
An unconscious ignorance everyone pays,
For the dispense of it!

I did not understand it then,
But I was in good hands...
When I was raised to be independent.
And learning at an early age,
What it takes to accept about my life...
And those things I had to do,
But did not like!

Beleaguered Army

An assemblage of characters worked below,
Brooding on remorse and sin as a graveyard;
Beleaguered by death, it had dissembled the enemy,
A comely thought for the comely soldier.
The soldier’s demesne cast the whole world aside,
An elixir of youth was imbibed.
It was the denouement of youth and age,
It was dulcet, never abhorrent to see you drum your life.
Furtive glances kept them awake with hurry,
The glamour of a man was in full demonstration.
Now the war had its felicity, but ephemeral.

Survival Shake

This is no story its the key of existence
A little thing you better not forget
I dont know nothing bout its a water-resistance
Why dont you use your head
And survive, survive, survive
You got to survive
Survive, survive, survive
You got to survive
So tell me darling what you wanna be
A welcome idiot in an appletree
I shake you up and I shake you down
Down to the ground
To survive, survive, survive
You got to survive
Survive, survive
All you got to do is to survive
You just got one life
All you got to do is to survive
You just got one life
So better be careful boy
Survive, survive, survive...

The Beginning

tainted
has our love gone cold
in a place that's bitter and broken
we tasted of a world unknown
surely there must be something better
something forever

hello
from the world below
I'm watching the sun burning
as the road is slowly turning
well I know
that in letting go
I'm learning how to live
through a life I have to give

walking
past the city lights
silence can be so disturbing
you'll find me standing in the night
the stars never seem so unending
so unending

hello
from the world below
while I'm watching the sun burning
as the road is slowly turning
well I know
that in letting go
I'm learning how to live
through a life I have to give

but we painted
_ everything
without there remains our
shadows and the stones
tell me
where did we go wrong
can we just move on

hello
from the world below
while I'm watching the sun burning
as the road is slowly turning
when I know
that in letting go
I'm learning how to live
through a life I have to give

hello
to the world below
while I'm watching the world spinning
this night seems so unending
well I'll follow
to a place I know
that's only the beginning
start over after ending

Byron

Stanzas For Music: There's Not A Joy The World Can Give

There's not a joy the world can give like that it takes away
When the glow of early thought declines in feeling's dull decay;
'Tis not on youth's smooth cheek the blush alone, which fades so fast,
But the tender bloom of heart is gone, ere youth itself be past.

Then the few whose spirits float above the wreck of happiness
Are driven o'er the shoals of guilt, or ocean of excess:
The magnet of their course is gone, or only points in vain
The shore to which their shivered sail shall never stretch again.

Then the mortal coldness of the soul like death itself comes down;
It cannot feel for others' woes, it dare not dream its own;
That heavy chill has frozen o'er the fountain of our tears,
And though the eye may sparkle still, 'tis where the ice appears.

Though wit may flash from fluent lips, and mirth distract the breast,
Through midnight hours that yield no more their former hope of rest,
'Tis but as ivy-leaves around the ruined turret wreath—
All green and wildly fresh without, but worn and grey beneath.

Oh, could I feel as I have felt, or be what I have been,
Or weep as I could once have wept, o'er many a vanished scene;
As springs in deserts found seem sweet, all brackish though they be,
So, midst the withered waste of life, those tears would flow to me.

Human Existence On Earth

How do you define human existence on earth?
Some say our life on earth is like a journey
The journey begins from the day we are born
And terminates the day we die
Others say that our life is a school
We start learning from the day we are born
Everyday of our life on earth
There is always something new to learn
The schooling ends the day we die
Few compare our life on earth to the sun
Our sunrise is the day we are born
While our sun sets on the day we die
Our life can also be likened to a flower
The flower is planted the day we are born
As we grow up, our flower germinates
When we reach middle-age
Our flower blooms and sparkles
After we retire, our flower fades away
Life of humans can also be equated to the four seasons
The spring covers birth to adolescent years
Summer of our life begins from adolescent to middle-age
While fall season starts from middle-age to retirement
The winter of our life will be from retirement to death
Another analogy is to liken human existence on earth
To the waxing and waning of the moon
From our birth to the time we retire from active service
Can be compared to waxing of the new moon to full moon
While our life from retirement to our death
Can be associated with the waning of full moon to new moon
Whatever may be your own analysis of life?
Always live everyday to the fullest

Every Morning Has Its Own Poem/ Old Age Fades

EVERY MORNING HAS ITS OWN POEM/ OLD AGE FADES

Every morning has its own poem
Old age fades and goes away in the grey of the early morning day
Every day has its own poem
Every time of life
Hope too is also given to those with few years left
Old age has a poem
I am trying to write it.

By the Grey Gulf-water

Far to the Northward there lies a land,
A wonderful land that the winds blow over,
And none may fathom or understand
The charm it holds for the restless rover;
A great grey chaos -- a land half made,
Where endless space is and no life stirreth;
There the soul of a man will recoil afraid
From the sphinx-like visage that Nature weareth.
But old Dame Nature, though scornful, craves
Her dole of death and her share of slaughter;
Many indeed are the nameless graves
Where her victims sleep by the Grey Gulf-water.
Slowly and slowly those grey streams glide,
Drifting along with a languid motion,
Lapping the reed-beds on either side,
Wending their way to the North Ocean.
Grey are the plains where the emus pass
Silent and slow, with their dead demeanour;
Over the dead man's graves the grass
Maybe is waving a trifle greener.
Down in the world where men toil and spin
Dame Nature smiles as man's hand has taught her;
Only the dead men her smiles can win
In the great lone land by the Grey Gulf-water.

For the strength of man is an insect's strength
In the face of that mighty plain and river,
And the life of a man is a moment's length
To the life of the stream that will run for ever.
And so it comes that they take no part
In small world worries; each hardy rover
Rides like a paladin, light of heart,
With the plains around and the blue sky over.
And up in the heavens the brown lark sings
The songs the strange wild land has taught her;
Full of thanksgiving her sweet song rings --
And I wish I were back by the Grey Gulf-water.

Field Of Joy

let's wander slowly through the fields
slowly slowly through the fields
i touch the leaves that touch the sky
just you and i through fields of joy
all trouble slowly fades away
slowly slowly fades away
i hold your hand inside my hand
across the land through fields of joy
the sound of music that we hear
the blend of colors throug the air
all cities, mountains disappear from view
all truth and beauty near to me and you
with you through the fields
with you through the fields
with you through the fields
the fields of joy
let's wander slowly through the fields
slowly slowly through the fields
i know our love will never die
just you and i
through fields of joy
through fields of joy

Life Fades Away

Written by orbison/danzig
My time has come the clouds are calling.
December wind has came my way.
And now I feel the world falling.
All at once, its too late.
Life fades away.
The night is my day.
All thoughts slip away
And even though, I must leave you.
Remember I love you.
Ill always be in your memories.
I will always be with you when Im gone.
Hey, life fades away.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,yeah.
Life fades away.
Im tired on tomorrow.lost for today.
I long to be at peace forever.
My dull peace
And even though, I will miss you.
I must leave you.
Hey, life fades away.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah,yeah, yeah.
Life fades away.
So please forgive me.and try not to cry.
I long to be at peace forever more.
Forever more.
Oh yeah, yeah , yeah ,yeah ,yeah.
Oh yeah, yeah ,yeah , yeah, yeah.
Life fades away.
Life fades away.
Life fades away.away.
One last thing to say
Life fades away.

A Hunchback warrior who waits at a bus stop

The usual murmur of the sea breeze fades away; ' The Ocean is great; but you cannot sip a little dropp of water.'
And it seemed since morning till evening he waited for the bus.
How does he takes a bus as the poor guy has no any idea of his destination?
And he carries a heavy bag that full of gloomy nightmares.

When all Hope Fades,

When all Hope Fades,

Chinese Wisdom

In crisis, wisdom growth,
And gained.
Intelligence endowed,
But wisdom is learned.

Wise men listen more,
Talk no nonsense.
Wise men may be learned
But learned men may not be wise.

A silent fool can pass for a wise man.
Silence is golden & wise,
Silence is the trusted friend of wisdom.

It is easy to blame our memory
when our judgment is at fault.
It takes a tree ten years to mature;
It takes a man one hundred years to form.

We grow old fast,
We grow wise slowly.
Youth can look only forward,
but age can also look backward.

Maturity and wisdom
take a lifetime to achieve.
Achieving maturity does not
Grow with age.

Wisdom grows when
Ones learned to avoid the wrongs.
Stand for the rights.

Biggest flaw of ones
Has a lot of flaws and
Not correcting them,
Not avoiding them.

Life is a learning journey
To discover who we are,
Learning as if life is
one continuous lesson.

Wisdom is attained by learning
when to hold one’s tongue.
Discretion is the trusted friend of wisdom.
A wise head must possess a closed mouth.
