If you are succesfull for 20 years, you can't expect to stay on the same level all through that period. A career has its ups and downs and in-betweens.

Ups And Downs
Each life has its ups and downs
and I always figured
my life had more downs than ups.
However, when I stopped to look at it,
I think the reverse may well apply.
There have been more up than downs.
I have a wonderful wife,
which has to be an up.
I have been blessed with three lovely children,
which has to be another up.
I have friends from every four corners of the world.
There is no denying that is an up.
When I tried to look at the downs,
I really couldn’t think of any.
Therefore, at this moment
I am one of the few
real lucky people
who have more ups than downs.

Expect Your ………….You!
Expect your friend to be not better than you;
Expect your neighbor to not forgive you;
Expect your country not to goad you;
Expect your siblings to but discourage you;
Expect your children to not care for you;
Expect your spouse to rather hinder you;
Expect your love to always forget you;
Expect your home sometimes to ignore you;
Expect your native place to not honor you;
Expect the world to disregard you;
Expect your enemy to well hate you;
Expect your Maker to much love you;
Expect your God to never forsake you;
Expect your Lord and God to never abandon you.

On Every Level
On every level of consciousness they appear to be crippled.
And on every level this seems to be a preference to keep.
Any reference that suggests a curing of their disabilities,
Becomes immediately resented and considered offensive.
Although they protest and complain,
Vehemently about the standards of their rehabilitation...
To accomodate their most pressing of needs,
They choose to ignore any restoration of their mentalities.
And fight with a biting they do,
The very hands that have come to assist them for decades.
And yet...
They expect to stay at the feast to eat AND be served!

In 1969, at the age of 19, I was lucky enough to work with George C. Scott in the definitive portrayal of his career over a period of many months and several countries on the definitive film version of Patton's WWII career.

In all my career, in my ups and downs, I've never had a beauty campaign. This was meaningful that at almost 41 years old, I could be getting my first beauty campaign. It made me feel really great.

I had some big ups and downs when I was in my 20s and the one thing I learned was, no matter how low it gets, something good will come along - something always comes out of that dark period.

We said, OK. We'll - as long as you take good care of us. And so it was a lot of fun. There was a lot of ups and downs throughout the whole period of time. And it's a very unique experience.

I responsible to my job, I fight for my career
I bound to job, I grow with career

Stay With Me
Vietnam was 66
Two best friends take a bad hit
And never saw it come
But its all there
One was a rich boy, a doctors son
The other the father of a girl age one
Never had the change to hold his daughters hand
New york flat in 76
Two girlfriends shoot a bad fix
Never woke up saw heaven before it saw them
One was a daughter of a prominent man
The other the mother of a girl age ten
Who walked in and saw mama sleeping in gods hands
And she cried
Chorus
Stay with me
Mama wont you stay here with me
You promised you would never leave
Stay with me
Oh wont you stay here with me
Mama, hold my had and stay with me
Years go by, the girls 23
Had a rough go, but shes on her feet
The man so rough
A few good years, a wedding ring
Wasnt enough to fulfill his dreams
He came home from work one day and said Im leaving you
She cried...
Chorus
Stay with me, honey
Wont you stay right here with me
You promised you would never leave
Stay with me, whoa whoa
Stay right here with me
Wont you hold my hand stay with me
Emergency room, number four
A woman cried out as the child is born
She stares into eyes and says
My lifes had its ups and downs
But for yours I will be around
I will always be around
And she cried
Chorus
Stay with me, whoa whoa
Wont you stay right here with me
I promise I will never leave
Stay with me, oh
Wont you stay right here with me
Child, you hold my had stay with me
Child, you hold my hand stay with me.

Parade
Every color is a shade
Destined to fade
A glorious parade
Invisible
To me
I'm lyin' in the wake
Just about to break
The more I try to give you know
The more they try to take
Take it from me
Take it away
Lines in the sand
And all the ungliness today
And all the in-betweens
That keep you away
Hey
Oh life can be so good
It's so misunderstood
The struggle and the strive
To do the things we should
We're lyin' in the wake
Just about to break
The more you try to give you know
The more they'll try to take
Take it from me
Take it away
Lies in disguise
In every promise that you make
And the all the in-betweens that keep you away
Hey
Oh
Oh
Oh
Oh take it from me
Oh take it away
Lies in disguise
And every promise that you make
And all the in-betweens that keep you away
Every color is a shade
Destined to fade
A glorious parade
Invisible
To me

Expect More
Expect more,
From yourself...
Before your self respect,
becomes enclosed
Behind shut doors.
Expect more,
Not less.
When your best,
Has been ignored.
Expect more,
Or you'll be next...
Left when your intentions,
Begin to bore.
Expect more,
From those awake.
But the exchange makes them snore.
Expect more,
If a game played becomes too straight.
And you must be that whore!
To gain the attention,
Some express you adore.
Expect more...
From them and yourself to win.
In this life expect more.
Don't accept what is suspected.
Don't throw tantrums and fits...
Just to keep limits explored!
Expect more!
