Seek art from every time and place, in any form, to connect with those who really move you.

You, to whom I am myself
O You Who Are - the formless, nameless One,
more real than all forms and names can speak:
You for whom we seek to find a name
and yet who has no name, who needs no name;
You for whom we seek to shape a form
and yet who has no form, who needs no form;
Yet whom we name in every name we speak,
and whom we see in every form we seek:
is there some name bestowed for nameless name,
a form imagined for a formless form,
by which all hearts today that seek themselves
may shape their search as if for One unknown?
may kneel in front of their own golden throne?
Should we approach you as the Lord of Hearts,
who’s spoken of in heartfelt praise of glorious human brilliance,
endeavour, art, achievement and discovery;
the Lord who gave us hearts to know we love?
Should we approach you as the Lord of Self,
whom we all know when we relax, become
more our known self, in silence, rest, or company
that sparkles round a table built of happiness?
Should we approach you as the Lord of Consciousness
in whom we live and move, and be; yet never see
for you’re the seeing in ourself; to whom we wake
and know, and stand securely, watching all?
I ask You for the sound of some new yet eternal name;
that sound by which all quickly know themself
and talk once more from hearts forever free,
of what we are, and know, and love to be.

When I Arrive I See You Half Naked
when i arrive from my journey
i see you half naked
and you are sleeping
i do not wish to wake you up
i want to see you in that state
where you are what you are
without motion but just the form
where you cannot say anything
to all that i long for
i sit beside you and look at your
body
i am feasting i am motionless
i am speechless
to such a beauty of the one
i love
it is new all over again
the world stops right here
and i do not want it to move
to rotate to make its orbit
to complete its journey
all i want now is a suspension
of time and form and place
because you are with me
because i am with you.

Can't Go On
How can it be easy to forget you when I think about you all the time
I never know how I miss you when I never had you, well nevermind
I move on, but I can't go on without you
Said I try, don't know why, what to do without you
Can't move on, can't move on
It'd be cool if we never met, if we never locked eyes
Then I'd feel so happy, not knowing you're so fine
I move on, but I can't go on without you
Said I try, don't know why, what to do without you
Can't move on, can't move on
I get so nuts when I'm around you there's nothing I can say
I wish you'd get outta my head, I think about you every day
I move on, but I can't go on without you
Said I try, don't know why, what to do without you
Can't move on, can't move on without...
ROCK!
I move on, but I can't go on without you
Said I try, don't know why, what to do without you
Can't move on, can't move on, can't move on, without... you

With all of the qualities of the scene-setting, the dialogue, the place and time and the time and place in which your characters move. And I want to move with the characters, move with them and describe the world in which they are living.

The Internet is like alcohol in some sense. It accentuates what you would do anyway. If you want to be a loner, you can be more alone. If you want to connect, it makes it easier to connect.

Same Place, Same Time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
The coffee’s hot
And the company is good
Conversation flows, as it should
A joke or two
And when all is said and done
We’re right back to where we begun
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
These crowded streets
I balance tight roped on the curb
Car screeches past, a scream is heard
De ja vu
Yes I’ve been here before
Time moves slowly as traffic stalls
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Break
It was good
You were sublime
I’m so glad that we spent the time
Time is short
What we have is rare
Love is oxygen with you there
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time
Same place, same time

It's Mine to Own
Just give me my prize!
For a life lived...
Both bold and wise.
Just give me my prize!
Un-itemized it.
It's mine to own.
Just give me my prize.
I accept it.
Now I can connect.
Inside...
I connect it.
Now I can accept.
Those feelings I cried...
With heartache.
Deep in my chest!
I accept it.
Now I can connect.
I accept it.
Now I can connect.
Just give me my prize!
I accept it.
Now I can connect.
Inside...
I accept it.
Now I can connect.
Those feelings I cried...
With heartache.
Deep in my chest!
I accept it.
Now I can connect.
Just give me my prize!
Un-itemized it.
It's mine to own.
I accept it.
Now I can connect.
It's mine to own.
I accept it.
Now I can connect.
It's mine to own.
Just,
Give me my prize I accept it.
It's mine to own.
I accept it.
Now I can connect.
My own.
I accept it.
Now I can connect.
My own.
I accept it.
Now I can connect.
My own.
Just give me my prize,
I accept it.
It's mine alone!

Your Move
Written by terry shaddick and steve kipner, 1983
Found on your move and the very best of america.
I don't understand it 'cause you won't say yes
But you don't say no
Sayin' no we shouldn't you keep holdin' out
But you don't let go
I'm givin' up on trying
To sell you things that you ain't buying
It's your move (your move)
I played all of mine
Time (ah) is running out
Make your move (your move)
Or we can't go on
Till (ah) you understand
It's all in your hands
It's your move
You're giving me the business with that old come on
But you don't come across
You get me so excited don't you know you're such a tease
When i think you're gettin' hot, you're not
(oo) so what's the problem, what's wrong
This kiss and miss you know it can't go on
It's your move (your move)
I played all of mine
Time (ah) is running out
Make your move (your move)
Or we can't go on
Till (ah) you understand
It's all in your hands
It's your move
(know it can't go on) go on
I'm givin' up on trying now it's (your move)
Girl, if you ain't buyin' now it's (your move)
I gave it all i got now it's (your move)
I thought you were hot but you're not so it's (your move, your move, your move)
It's your move (your move, ah)
I played all of mine
Time is running out
Make your move (ah, oh)
Or we can't go on
Till you understand
It's all in your hands
It's your move
It's your move (your move, ah)
I played all of mine
Time is running out
Make your move (ah, oh)
Or we can't go on
Till you understand
It's all in your hands
It's your move
It's your move (your move, ah)
I played all of mine
Time is running out
Make your move (your move, ah)
Or we can't go on
Till you understand
It's all in your hands
It's your move ...

do not worry Chester
try again next time
connect the puzzle and form
another chance
to get finally the picture
of life
it is normal
life is a mess, things do not fit easily
expectations are not met
wishes always stick on the
rainbow
dreams do not always come
true
try again
maybe next time the pieces fit
and you may finally see the final picture
of success
do not worry Chester
there is always a right season
for everyone
a time for you
a luck all yours.

Connect Me To You Heart
Connect me to your heart, my friend
it is this heart that gives until it hurts
The heart that hears your voice
Deep from the tranquil ocean
Learning to ride the waves
And see the beauty in each magnificence
If today you will hear my voice
Harden not, just connect me to your heart
Learn to live and feel this heart beat
That says..all is well..keep on doing
What is right, have no fear of tomorrow.
There must be no turning. back...just be focused..
You have so much for everything
To give, to share, to love, to live
Take one day at a time, and enjoy
Your candle must be lighted
So you will not stumble in the dark
Connect me..to your heart..my friend.

Eloquently Stated
You keep insisting to connect yourself with values,
I can not identify.
Like honesty.
You are constantly in hide and seek mode.
So honesty you may wish exists.
But from you...
That does not show.
Devotion and loyalty?
The words I hear.
But those actions from you I disbelieve.
Unless they have been gift wrapped...
And you're presenting them now to me!
Trust?
I've seen that scrawled on the side a bus.
Were you on it?
And your wave escaped my attention?
You keep insisting to connect yourself with values,
I can not identify.
Not with you.
But then again...
You always fantasized yourself a magician.
And I do have a wish you can fulfill.
You can snap your fingers and disappear.
Leaving us both to keep that secret to ourselves.
How is that for accomodating both of our desires?
As you have so eloquently stated!

Into This Time
Into this time we move,
with Hopes, and Regrets,
with Bills, and Debts,
Without a Dime, for the Wine,
Without a Glass, for the Mass,
Into this time we move,
Without a Beer, for the Dear,
Without a Mirror, for the Fear,
Into this time we move,
Into this time we move,
With the stacking debts
and regrets to,
Into this time we move,
Into this time we move,
Selling the wine for a Dime,
Stealing the glass from the mass,
Into this time we move,
Into this time we move,
With Debts and Regrets
With Bills and Deals
With Growing Debt
We move into this time.

Take Me Away
(steve bogard, jeff stevens)
My body burns like theres a desert deep in me
A thirsty soul so unsatisfied
But there you are like a river to the sea
The one chance I have to change my life
(a)darling, take me away from (e) here
Make it seem like were a million miles away
Another time, another place
(a)make me a different (e) man
Move me farther than Ive ever been before
Show me that theres something more
Sometimes I feel like Im trapped inside myself
Spinning wheels up and down, round and round
Going nowhere just like everybody else
With no touch, no sight, no sound
(a)but you could take me away from (e) here
Make it seem like were a million miles away
Another time, another place
(a)make me a different (e) man
Move me farther than Ive ever been before
Show me that theres something more
Give me hopes and dreams to fill my head
Push my heart so I can fly again
Take me away from here
Make it seem like were a million miles away
Another time, another place
Make me a different man
Move me farther than Ive ever been before
Show me that theres something more
Take me away from here
Take me away from here
Take me away from here

True Justice
If there were true justice, I would not have to gather
Thought of thee from moments far gone, but rather
Would be witness, each day, to thine own grace
And not be reduced to this time, in this 'place'!
'Justice deferred, is justice denied', a fitting way
To see into my form of thought, this and every day!
I do not seek same, as I do, for any form of personal gain;
I rally for much more, my own self-import I do not feign-
I am but a vessel, used for a world in need of change,
The thought of mine own plight, seems to me, very strange!
I know my cause to be righteous, I have never had doubt,
I look now to God to see this iniquity and to straighten it out;
Whensoever this may be done, not surely, before,
My life shall return to me again, and order shall restore!

Raised to Only Praise Delusions
They come quick to evaluate the words...
And not the content of the message.
They come to seek and critique,
Definitions and language use.
As if an acceptance of concepts,
Will be a test to pass the task that is earned.
They want to qualify the composition...
And the one who prepared the text.
But what is being delivered,
Does not with them connect.
Their minds have been set to protest.
They would like to find the composer negligent.
Incompetent at best!
With an ego self enthralled.
And what should in their minds connect...
Is rejected to leave them stalled.
They were raised to only praise delusions.
And that,
Afterall...
Has become their reason and purpose.
They have become limited and programmed.
With no desire to stand and walk tall.
But to remain on their knees...
As they have been taught to crawl!

One of the aspects of form that I have been very interested in is stasis - the concept of form which is not so directional in time, not so much climactic form, but rather form which allows time, to stand still.

Travel to the place...
Travel to the place
Where mind set to peace,
No one can see,
Feel us free.
Travel to the place
Where we can breathe,
Fill our desire,
We wish; we aspire.
Travel to the place
Where we have silence,
Flower of fragrance,
And nature to admire.
Travel to the place
Where we can write,
Lines of rhyme,
At any time.
Travel to the place
Where we have enough space,
Work without race,
No tension on face.
Travel to the place
Where we can dance,
Sing at glance,
Bit of time to romance.
Travel to the place
Where we spread love,
Freedom to serve
And land to move.
Travel to the place
Where we can live,
Of joy and sprinkle its grace,
And do anything, anywhere.

The Mediocrity
Beholden I am for mercies
those with time got bestowed
The apportioned reality and
awards that time has endowed
The ones served on the platter
were accepted as destined ordain
And for all what was improbable
I didn't once rue or complain
No space for any penitence
with leftover window seeming brief
It's to accept what one has at hand
and from it so seek relief
It's inane to pick old shards
in an attempt to try and dissect
Present is that bridge which
to the future eventually connect
