Eloquently Stated

You keep insisting to connect yourself with values,
I can not identify.
Like honesty.
You are constantly in hide and seek mode.
So honesty you may wish exists.
But from you...
That does not show.

Devotion and loyalty?
The words I hear.
But those actions from you I disbelieve.
Unless they have been gift wrapped...
And you're presenting them now to me!

Trust?
I've seen that scrawled on the side a bus.
Were you on it?
And your wave escaped my attention?

You keep insisting to connect yourself with values,
I can not identify.
Not with you.

But then again...
You always fantasized yourself a magician.
And I do have a wish you can fulfill.
You can snap your fingers and disappear.
Leaving us both to keep that secret to ourselves.
How is that for accomodating both of our desires?
As you have so eloquently stated!
