In The Market Of Ideas...
in the market there are good apples,
luscious ones and we buy them and we do not regret
the money that we part with,
there are rotten ones, who buys them must be fools
ditto with our creations,

I have observed private and proprietary colleges, like the University of Phoenix, and the market they serve. And I found it intriguing the way in which they are trying to deliver the product, with more accountability, for a price.
Suppliers and especially manufacturers have market power because they have information about a product or a service that the customer does not and cannot have, and does not need if he can trust the brand. This explains the profitability of brands.

A product is not quality because it is hard to make and costs a lot of money, as manufacturers typically believe. This is incompetence.
