Execution Day
I stare in the mirror, my eyes refuse to blink
Sympathy for me, hell I cant even think
Send for the iceman, my temperature is startin to rise
Ive heard it before n I know the truth from the lies
Chorus:
Is it any wonder heavens racked with thunder
And all of my dreams go under like the fallin rain
Execution day, execution day (execution day, execution day) - execution day
Execution day
Voices like locusts keep smothering me
Twisting and turning my senses like a cyclone at sea
Dont touch me now, wont let you crucify me
You aint no damn jury, you cant pass no sentence on me
(chorus)
Whose blood on whose hands, wheres the promises they preached for this land
Standin there with bibles clutched in their hand
Whose blood on whose hands, whose blood on whose hands
(whose blood, whose hands)
Execution day, execution day
Father my hands are shakin, I see the light, its breakin
Show me the way to set my soul free, I hope it rains on me
Let it rain on me
Execution day, execution day

Those who govern, having much business on their hands, do not generally like to take the trouble of considering and carrying into execution new projects. The best public measures are therefore seldom adopted from previous wisdom, but forced by the occasion.

Meditation
When the mind is quiet and in glee,
And of scattered thoughts it is free,
Meditation can be undertaken,
And all sundry thoughts forsaken.
Meditation is an unbroken attention,
In a particular physical position,
And flow of fixed concentration,
With contemplation to a state of intuition.
Meditation brings the mind to clarity,
Whereby therein springs serenity,
All activity is reduced in meditation,
And the mind gravitates to illumination.
Meditation is a virtuous way of life,
Whereby there is control over life,
It entails regulation of the mind,
Negating all wary thoughts that bind.
With meditation, the mind is calm,
Deep peace courses, which is a balm,
Awareness of breath control induces relaxation,
Realizing our unity with Cosmos brings realization.

0031 Ted and Sylvia meet the marriage counsellor
‘Let me not to the marriage of true minds
admit impediment’ – and let me say
first of all, that I’m all for that…
but Dr Freud asked me if I’d call you in –
that is, invite you – for a little chat;
there’ll be no fee, of course…
Sylvia, would you sit over here,
and Ted, you over there?
I’ve read your case notes
which my secretary compiled, from
your previous poems – she’s quite
well-read; indeed, I believe she’s now applied
for a post with Mr. Eliot the poet…
Now I understand you’re both madly in love
and – ahem – can’t wait to ‘get at
one another’ as they say these days …
I guess the ‘Do not Disturb’ notice
may be there for days, ha ha?
but a word of admonition..er.. advice:
although in theory two artists co-habiting
is a great idea in theory – you’ll understand
each others’ situation, help with tax returns,
maybe use the same literary agent –
it’s not all plain sailing: creativity
comes in individual cycles; it’s known
today as ‘biorhythms’; you’re down,
he’s up; he’s down, you’re up
and since you already, Sylvia,
have – harrumph – issues,
these cycles could conflict
quite vigorously; with considerable care
you can make this work
to your advantage; we had marked success
with a previous pair in your situation,
Robert and Elizabeth..
But it will require considerable care,
as I said; and there’s always the chance –
my Hollywood clients face this constantly –
that one of you may find your public fame
outstrips the other – this can be difficult;
I’m treating several well-known couples
for this very problem; Richard and Elizabeth
were frequent visitors here in Belair...
a marriage of two fine creative artists
can become like crows picking at
the flesh and then the bones..
So I hope you don’t mind this little chat;
best wishes, and I suggest
you come and see me again
not too soon – who needs psychiatrists
when they’re in love, ha ha – but
not too late?
My receptionist
will see you out…
this Hollywood practice,
though busy and, ahem, quite lucrative,
brings me much sadness, as my
wives have often commented…

Creation implies authority in the sense of originator. The possibility of a 'Fall' is implied in a Covenant insofar as the idea of a Covenant implies the possibility of its being violated.

Treasure Those Moments
what makes one happy
well it depends on the person
some people find happiness in the simple things
others dont take much notice
some people find happiness from people
in many different ways
some people find happiness from the important things
but to sum it up, we all find happiness sometime
even if its just a second,
it was still there right?
you should treasure those moments for as long as possible
happiness is a gift for us
laugh as much as possible
it involves smileing
which implies amusement
which implies pleasure
which implies happiness
maybe not always
nothing is ever always
not even your spirit
which continues on for a while
but my point is
to not waste your life
find happiness
and dont let things bring you down

a Woman talks about her son
a Woman talks about her son
who was her lover,
in a previous life
and it’s as if she
likes the idea.
I wonder if it is fantasy
or reality in her mind
and how she,
get to such a revelation.
To me it sounds too much
like a Oedipus complex
or of somebody that holds
on to her sleeves.
Maybe Freud, Jung and Adler
would have known more
about this type of thing
and would have stated that the man
are emotionally six years old
or maybe the idea
just comes from the mother
who wants to surprise
strangers with it.
Of a previous life
I know nothing
and to me
everything turn round
the here and now
and I rather want to be a man
than a worm or a rat.

Yoga introduced me to a style of meditation. The only meditation I would have done before would be in the writing of songs.
Execution Of Time-Released Solutions
Execution,
Of time-released solutions.
From you remove those attitudes,
To further plant a need to reduce yourself...
To the making of excuses.
Create a need for your purpose,
To free yourself of teasing temptations.
And stuff that corrupts,
A taste that satiates the pleasure of wasteful,
Devastation.
To become fuddled up in muck.
An execution,
Of time-released solutions,
Do!
An execution of time-released solutions,
Choose for you an undoing to prove...
A fuddled up in muck that has left you muddled,
To coddle and cuddle...
Muffled to snuggle,
You have had enough of.

Would You Like to Participate With Us
Would you like to participate with us,
During our global meditation?
Many of us are striving for a higher consciousness!
And we are going to do this the first of the year.
At 12noon!
'Excuse me?
A higher what?
Consciousness.
Oh, I'm conscious all right.
Ain't nuthin' wrong with my mind!
Naw...
Ya'll go 'head with that mess!
Since...
That's yo thing not my thing and my thing ain't yo thing.
And you and them that do those things think ya'll all that!
Well..
My feet is on the Earth,
And I ain't got time to waste on nonsense!
I ain't 'bout to raise 'nuthin' no time soon!
I ain't got time to waste on that! '
So, that is a no?
'That's yo thing not my thing and my thing ain't yo thing.
And you and them that do those things think ya'll all that!
You better come down to Earth and be real! '
